Wyatt's fingers moved over the old tome as he internally translated some of the ancient runes within its pages. He was somewhat proud of himself for even being able to read it when only a year or so ago it would've looked like symbols on a page with no meaning. Things like this were starting to become easier and easier now that he had made researching ancient magic a new hobby of his. Well, more like obsession. Being able to cast both light and dark magic was ever tempting to him and the Brookes family was determined to bring as much knowledge to the coven as possible for all to learn freely.

The bell hanging from the door chimed and took him from the deep concentration he was in. His head lifted slightly as he glanced at the man coming through before turning back to the shopkeeper who chuckled at Wyatt, noticing how focused he had just been. "You're getting better at that, young man," Marie said, being mindful on the herbs she had been crushing and sprinkling into the small jars in front of her. The corners of her eyes crinkled as she smiled softly. It was strange for anyone to call him 'young' seeing as he had walked the earth for more than a hundred years, but he knew the woman who owned this shop was far older than he. Though she appeared to be in her eighties, Wyatt was quite aware that it was in fact only that. An appearance.

"Some day I might be as learned as you," he replied to her, turning to face the woman with a matching smile. His hues casually moved over to the only other person in the shop with them that had just come in. Wyatt hadn't seen this person before which was to say somewhat curious. This store was far off the road of diviner territory and was only known to its faction. Seeing as Wyatt knew mostly everyone in the coven now that his cousin was the ambassador and he her right hand, not knowing someone in the shop was a little surprising. Of course it didn't mean this man wasn't just a passing diviner who had heard of the shop from someone in the coven, but it was his request which peaked his interest even more.

"I'm looking for baneswood sap," he asked with an English accent that had a bit of a drawl at the end. His eyes were dark and peered around the store as if to take in everything around him without even looking to the owner with his question. He finally leaned on the counter top and looked at the various items she kept in the cases before looking to her. "That and phoenix ash."

Wyatt was somewhat surprised to hear the request as both of those items were very rare and also mostly used in dark magic that was as advanced as it was dangerous. He looked to Marie as she took her eyes from the stranger and flickered over to him for a moment before speaking as she was undoubtedly thinking the same thing. "I'm sorry, but I don't carry those items here."

"Hmm.. no, I suppose you wouldn't." The man turned around on his heels with a sigh and cut his eye quickly to Wyatt before opening the door to the shop and exiting.

Wyatt's eyebrow raised for a moment as he looked over to Marie with a smirk. "Pleasant guy." Marie rolled her eyes in agreement before taking the jars she had been filling and heading behind the curtain to her stockroom. Walking to the front windows of the store, he peered out as the man continued towards his car with a nagging thought. Wyatt was dabbling in ancient magic for a while now and meeting other diviners that were that far advanced was rare. Even if he did run after the man now to make small talk, it didn't seem like he would be very interested in talking with Wyatt. It didn't seem like he would be interested in talking to anyone for that matter.

He tore his glance away from the window as the Englishman got into his car and began heading towards the antique register to be rung up for the ingredients he was buying for his own practice when he suddenly saw the man had left his cellphone on the counter. Wyatt hurried over and quickly snatched the phone before racing out of the shop.

His sneakers pounded against the dirt driveway, but it was too late as he watched the car becoming smaller by the moment while it drove down the main road through Evermore. "Dammit." Wyatt looked down to the cell and tried to unlock it with no luck. "Great." No way to contact anyone to let them know he had the man's phone. "Well.. guess it's time for a tracking spell." The diviner sighed shortly before heading back inside to see if Marie wouldn't mind helping him with a little magic.

"He will never let this go. He must die when I no longer have any use for him." Those were the last words Hana had heard before she slipped into another slumber. She couldn't recall Wyatt even being in the same room as her, and if he was, she wasn't sure if he'd been awake or not. But, everything seemed like a blur after the dinner they were forced to eat. And she now feared for Wyatt's safety more than her own. Their captor feared Wyatt, and rightfully so. Hana knew once this was over, if this idiot didn't run far away from them, thenWyatt would possibly be mad enough to end his life, for all that they were enduring, and likely were about to endure.

This had been terrifying through and through, yet the one thing that kept Hana from giving up and accepting that this may be the last place she ever saw, was her brother, and the man next to her. Who ever Wyatt was, what ever got him tangled up in this, he didn't deserve it, and Hana felt she was to blame. So, should they live through this, she would find a way to  say sorry, and probably a way to repay him for saving her life. Something about him calmed her in a way that'd made her feel safe, hopeful even, that he'd come up with a plan to get them out of here.

Bloody hell. She had just opened her eyes again when the table was moving from it's spott. There the bastard was yet again, messing with Wyatt. She hadn't heard or seen anything prior to that, and couldn't help but wonder what he'd done to her while she had been unconscious. The lights made her wince, and she strained them to open completely, in hopes that when she got a full view of Wyatt, that he'd be alive still. Hana frowned then, as she heard groans of pain escaping him. She could see the dark Diviner hovered just over top of him, piercing his flesh with the dagger, oblivious to what it even meant. The look of fear in Wyatt's eyes however, told her that he knew exactly what was happening.

For as long as she could stand it, the human watched in silence. She knew how dangerous it could turn out for Wyatt, should she start yelling at their captor, especially with a dagger in his hand. It seemed that he didn't need that dagger to put them in danger though, so she remained silent. "No.." her hoarse voice muttered out. She could see what was happening to Wyatt, and then the words he spoke, sickened her. Not another meal with him. She silently began praying for some miracle as the psychopathic Diviner siphoned Wyatt's magic. Though it was a little too late when the deal was done. She wasn't sure what more he possibly needed. "Why make us eat with you? You stole his magic, what more do you want from us? We're not your family!" she shouted at him because this seemed like a desperate, lonely man. The way he had made them sit with him through dinner, the way he whistled around his house with two captives in his basement, and the very smile on his face made Hana believe that maybe he was just lonely. Crazy, but lonely.

The way she'd shouted at him, and the words she spoke angered the Diviner to the point she could see him turn fire engine red in a matter of seconds. When he waltzed over to her, and slapped her face, the human grimaced. She couldn't fight him because she was bound to a wooden table. Wyatt, seemingly lost a lot of blood, and she wasn't even sure that even a Diviner could live through that plus being siphoned of their magic. But what did a frail little human girl like her know? The tears poured down her cheeks again from the sting of the pain. "Now see. I didn't wanna do that!" he yelled at her, and his expression oddly a sad one. As he stood there flexing his hands into fists, and breathing deeply, Hana looked over to the other male, mouthing the words 'i'm sorry' in case this costed him as well. If she had learned anything from these events, every time she acted out or refused, it was Wyatt who paid the price.

Hana assumed he'd been using some type of sedation spell on them, or an imprisoning spell. She wasn't sure, but a bell rung, and the captor perked up even more. "Time to eat, kiddos" he stated, and wasn't even sure if Wyatt had the strength to get to the table on his own. "Can I use the bathroom at least?" she asked, figuring it was the one and only thing she could do to get free of this, and whatever it took, she'd help Wyatt. She was only a human, but her motivation to protect Ha-joon was crippled by nothing. Their captor smirked, and tapped his head, as if he knew she was up to something "I'm not stupid Miss Sae. But sure, go .. run along" he waved a dismissive hand to her, because little did she know, the cabin they were in had a spell surrounding it. She wouldn't be leaving here unless he wanted her to. Hana looked to Wyatt, suddenly fearing for her life. She didn't have a clue what she'd do once she got to the bathroom. But, either way, she went.

The bathroom had windows, but they were to high for her to reach. She found herself defeated and fell against the wall, sliding down it until she sat on the floor. After balling herself up and sobbing in the corner, the human gathered her composure, and stood lon enugh to crack the bathroom mirror. After wrapping a shard of glass in toilet tissue, she slid it up her sleeve, hoping like hell he wouldn't find it. When she returned, it was apparent that he was finishing up with Wyatt, which gave her enough time to flash her horribly made weapon at Wyatt. The captor looked between them and for a moment she swore she was caught, but he smiled instead and moved over to her. "Sit down" he said simply before using wat she assumed was his and Wyatt's magic both combined, and began chanting again.

"There" he finally said. His eyes were open, but it seemed he was still in a trance like state. "There he is" he added. "Now that ive found your brother, we can eat" he gave a nod, before pulling at Hana's hand, who felt her heart shatter in that instant. He'd already threatened that Ha-joon would be brought in by messengers of his, and if he had really found him, it wouldn't be no time now. "You'll soon learn the meaning behind all of this Hana, I promise. As for you.." he gave Wyatt a sinister glare. "You won't be here much longer" his comment had a double meaning she was sure. He wasn't saying that because he had planned to let Wyatt go, but because he wanted to get rid of him completely. Hana stood, and decided she'd go eat. The bigger part of her wanted to stab him right in the neck, but she knew if she did that, something could happen to Wyatt, she wasn't sure the extent of these spells, and if the two of them were linked, she didn't wanna hurt Wyatt.  Hana swallowed harshly and followed the captor's orders, and looked behind her to see if Wyatt would come.

"How about you stay and help your friend out". This gave her a moment with Wyatt alone as the Dark Diviner descended up the stairs to prepare their breakfast. Kneeling in front of where he laid, Hana shook him, she didn't know how weakened he would be by the blood loss and the  loss of his magic "Wyatt.. he's planning to actually get rid of you. I have to do something.. tell me what I can do" she whispered, and gripped the shard of glass in her hand.

Wyatt's head was spinning. He wasn't sure if he was going to faint or vomit. Perhaps both. His limbs began to go numb and soon he was drifting in and out no matter how hard he tried to stay awake. He heard the two familiar voices of Hana and their captor, but none of the words were making any sense to him as the darkness swirled in front of his vision. His body felt incredibly heavy even though he was suddenly aware that he wasn't being tied down anymore. Not that it mattered. There wasn't any way he would be able to move on his own and the man knew that. He wasn't afraid of the light diviner because he wasn't much of a threat, however that meant their captor was also weakened from the great amount of power he'd exuded, even though it was mostly taken from Wyatt.

Laying on the floor, he could feel Hana's small hands around his shoulders as she shook him. Wyatt used the little amount of energy he had in him to push her aside as he threw up the next to nothing in his stomach. His brow filled with sweat and his breathing quickened while his body tried to understand what was happening to it. Remembering that his wrist had been cut open, he looked to the wound which was taped to avoid further blood loss by the dark diviner. He could hear Hana speaking to him, but all he could do was lay back on the cold basement floor which was the only soothing thing he wanted right then. "Come on. You both need your strength. Time to eat." The man's voice drifted down the stairs and Wyatt didn't really like the idea of being forced upstairs by whatever means he saw fit.

Rolling onto his side, Wyatt reached up to the slab and pulled himself to stand. The world still spun and spots began to form over his vision. The lightheadedness made him sway slightly, but Hana was quick to put her smaller body against his and he leaned on the human for support. It was then he noticed the small glass shard in her hand. The idea of her taking on the man herself was not one he liked and Wyatt shook his head and swallowed, glancing at the bile he'd just released. A plan suddenly began to form and if it didn't work out like he hoped, they were certainly going to pay for it. Wyatt knew there wasn't much of a choice as the more power he took from him, the less likely it was they would have a chance of surviving.

The two slowly ascended the stairwell after having quickly formulated a plan. His arm was over her shoulders as she wrapped her own over his waist in an attempt to keep him from falling over. She guided him to the chair he'd sat in from their last ordeal at the nightmarish dinner from the previous night, seeing the magic binding symbol still on the floor. Wyatt fell into the seat and glanced at the various breakfast foods on the table while Hana moved to her spot across from him. The captor gave them each a glass of water before sitting down and beginning to divvy out helpings to them. He seemed smug, but he could see the slightest shaking in the man's hands from the amount of power he'd used for the tracking blood spell. If there was ever a chance for them to do something, it was now.

Wyatt began to retch over the food which immediately drew the attention of the man. His eyes flashed in anger and just as he stood, Hana pulled the glass shard from her sleeve and stabbed the man's hand. "You little..." he backhanded Hana across the face with enough force to knock her from the chair. The light diviner stood and nearly fell into the man from being so weak still, but quickly wrapped him in a choke hold, falling backwards to the ground and into the runic circle. Wyatt had hardly any strength to keep the man held down in his arms, but he knew that their captor could also do no magic while they remained in the barrier. Wyatt's legs wrapped around the man's torso for leverage as he squeezed tighter on the man's neck and soon the squirming stopped. He couldn't be more thankful that he'd been fighting in the underground tournaments of Evermore then right now.

The spinning in his vision began again and Wyatt was full on heaving now. There was a slight thrumming he could feel against his arm and he released the man's limp body. The cause of the power he felt was an amulet around the man's neck which no doubt was a source for amplifying his magic. Wyatt yanked the chain off. "Hana?" There was no response as he stared at the ceiling and willed himself to move. Getting out of the circle was first priority and he did as much as he army crawled from it and the unconscious man. His fingers squeezed the amulet in his hand tightly as he closed his eyes and concentrated on the amplifier. There was a bit of strength returning in him as the magic slightly tingled through his body.

A slight murmur made him turn his head and he could see Hana waking from underneath the table where he lay. "Hana?" Wyatt brought himself to a knee and braced himself against the table. Finally pulling his body up to stand, he stumbled over to Hana and pulled her up as well. A groan took his attention away and he saw their captor begin to stir. Wyatt closed his eyes and willed the amulet to feed him more power as he looped an arm around Hana and held onto the back of one of the dining chairs just to remain standing. Never in his life had he imagined he wouldn't be able to do something that came so easily to him any other day. "Come on, come on, come on." Wyatt's hues closed once more as he looked away from the man and instead concentrated on the magic that was beginning to flow through him. That was the focus he needed and soon, it was just enough. Tightly keeping Hana against him, the two vanished in a puff of white smoke and landed in Wyatt's home where he instantly passed out on the floor.

Hana felt incredibly useless at this point. She didn't know the extent of the damage done to Wyatt, but as he pushed her away and threw up, her heart began pounding, and she trembled from head to toe, simply worried about his well being now, more than her own. The captor needed Wyatt to use him for his powers, but Hana didn't have such a thing that could be drained from her, so now she was sure that Wyatt was in much worse shape than she was.

She had shed more tears since this captor had taken them than she ever had in her whole life. Between them threatning her brothers safety, and actually hurting Wyatt, he had become numb all over. A sense of doom falling over a usually bright and sunny female. She'd nearly given up. She didn't see this ending any other way for Wyatt but his demise.

Hana still continued to sit next to him, refusing to leave his side even after he had pushed her away to throw up the nothingness of his stomach, and grimaced as he laid back on the cold concrete. She was surprised to see him do that much. His strength had been diminished by the sick bastard who had taken Wyatt. why him? why couldnt this man just get on with his shady dealings without the help of another.  The tone of his voice sickened Hana whe he told them they needed their strength. "Can you even walk?" she whispered as lowly as one could. Hana frowned when Wyatt pushed himself to stand, and shook his head no at her idea of slicing and dicing this sadistic bastard with the shard of glass in her hand. She did however, see the hope in his eyes as he looked to the mess in the floor that he'd just thrown up. What on earth was he about to do?

Whatever it was, she knew it was their only chance, so she didn't debate it with him, and as quick as she could, she got up the stairs with Wyatt, and watched as their captor's trembling hands served breakfast. Hana couldn't process anything from one second to the next. The sting of the pain was to much as she fell to the floor, backhanded for stabbing him, which in the process, caused her to cut her hand pretty deeply. She was light headed and her vision clouded as she watched the scene unfold before her. She wanted to tell Wyatt to stop, because she watched him literally fall into the captors arms, without realizing he had done so in a good enough position to put him in a choke hold. The next thing she knew, she was unconciious from the blow to her face.

When the frail human's eyes began to flutter back opened, she could barely make out what had just happened, and gasped as she quickly pushed herself up, inching away from the faint sound of her name being called, unaware that it was Wyatt himself. She had begun to heave as her vision slowly but surely returned, where she could see Wyatt army craling his way to her. "Wh-what happened?" she stuttered out of confusion as she held her face. She was sure she'd have a black eye, and other wounds to explain to Ha-joon if they hadn't taken him for the sake of this mad man. The way Wyatt pulled her up, and held an arm around her, made her feel safe in his embrace, but she became terrified all over again when their captor grunted, and she stil had no idea why he had even taken her in the first place, let alone Wyatt. Why did he know so much about her and Ha-joon?

Hana had no time to do anything else, as she felt herself literally beginning to slip away with Wyatt. It was almost instantly that she had appeared in another pace, but one that seemed more like a home than a dungeon. She wasn't sure how it had happened and she didn't wanna know right now. Right now, she couldn't help but feel defeated as she fell to the floor beside Wyatt's body, and began shaking him to no avail. She could see the faint rising of his stomach, so he wasn't dead at least. Hana fished around in her pockets, remembering she had grabbed a flash drive earlier that had been stored in the bathroom she took a shard of glass from. It either had everything she needed on it, or absolutely nothing useful. She silently prayed right then and there, before using the rest of her energy to throw blankets into the floor, and pull Wyatt onto them, hobbling on to the bathroom, Hana grabbed a wet wash cloth, and after cleaning her hand, which still continued to bleed steadily, she returned to Wyatt's side, using the wet rag to dab against his flesh, rising the bottom of his shirt, hoping the cold water would bring him to.

"Please wake up.. please" she pleaded and laid beside him. She refused to leave this man's side. She wouldn't have been alive without him saving her. And she had gathered that the only reason he had been taken, is because he had the misfortune of being a  powerful being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The human sniffled and decided to text Ha-joon to see if he was even okay, while she waited and prayed for Wyatt to wake back up. She guessed the magic he had used ... had really fucked him up with everything else the two of them had been through.

Wyatt felt waves of nausea pulling him back to the conscious world. His eyes opened and he gazed at the familiar white ceiling of his home on the border of diviner territory. Sitting up, he felt the presence of someone next to him and saw Hana was sleeping on the floor despite the couch nearby. He assumed she must've fallen asleep while watching over him, her phone clutched in her hand still. The nausea pulled his thankful gaze away as he got to his feet and stumbled over to the kitchen. His head was spinning slightly as he reached for a glass out of the cabinet and turned the faucet on to fill it with water. He could barely contain himself as he quickly downed the drink, the water dripping slightly down his face.

He wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve and filled the cup once more before walking back out into the living room. The sun was beaming through the many windows of his small, modern home and the urge to get outside was making him antsy. His eyes fell on the amulet that belonged to his captor which he quickly took up in his free hand from the rug as he made his way to the door. Wyatt leaned against the doorframe and let the sun hit his skin, making him feel instantly better as a fae, however, the amulet was heavy in his palm. His green eyes looked on it for a moment in anger before he tossed it into the dirt and quickly formed a flame in his hand, sending it to the magical object. The fire danced on the amplifier for a moment before going out and seemingly not being effected at all. Wyatt clenched his jaw in anger and picked the amulet up.

Opening the door to his closet, the diviner pulled out a small box with many runes on it. He lifted the lid and tossed the necklace inside knowing that the container would nullify the magic imbued on the amulet and not be a possible danger to them any longer. He put the box down on the coffee table and looked to the sleeping human who was still on his floor. She was motionless save for the light breaths she took. Wyatt drank the water and sighed, placing the glass down. He knelt and lifted her in his arms to carry her to the bedroom. The exhaustion Hana must've been feeling was immense as she didn't stir from her slumber while he moved her.

After placing her in bed, he walked back into the living room and took a deep breath in an attempt to clear his mind. He let himself concentrate on the invisible wards around the house and could sense they hadn't be tripped, destroyed, or tampered with. It was obvious their kidnapper knew who he was and no doubt knew where he lived. Wyatt didn't know if they man would attempt to try and find them at his home, but he would be a fool to try and break into his house with the amount of magic he had in his walls. They were safe for now and with that small comfort, he allowed himself to lay on the couch in the living room and instantly fall asleep.

The last couple of nights spent with Wyatt, had been sheer terror for both of them. Hana didn't even imagine that they'd make it out of that ordeal alive, but when they did, she felt some sense of longing towards the Diviner. What it was she longed? She had no idea, but as she sat there watching over him while he slept, a part of her felt more drawn to him than she should have ever allowed herself to feel. And, she would have been lying if she would have said she didn't want to wake him up, and get to know him in other ways. You never really know how trauama will effect you. But, it had surely effected HAna in a way that wasn't appropriate by any means whatsoever. But being held captive with a person, definitely brings two people together. They had to trust each other, rely on one another, assume that the other had only the best intentions.

The frail human sighed. She too felt insanely sick during the brief moments she had managed to open her eyes. It seemed that exuastion was winning her over however, because her eyes seemed to close just as fast as they had opened, her body remaining in a motionless slumber, even as Wyatt carried her to his bed, and took the couch for himself.

It must have been hours later when she'd awoken in a panic, unsure of where she was, or who's bed she had awoken in. For all she knew, their nightmare had begun all over again. Hana stood to her feet, still feeling slightly off balance as she walked to the windows in the bedroom, and peeked out, which only led her doe eyes to the night time. She could only imagine she had fallen into a deep sleep after seeing Wyatt angrily toss the amulet he'd stolen, out into the dirt. She had no idea what had went on after that.

The human became more familiar with her surroundings when she reach the living room they had first fallen into a slumber in. She was extremely worried about Ha-joon, and would surely tell him about all of this, but not now, now that she knew Ha-joon was okay, she needed to know Wyatt was okay. He had seemed pretty drained from the magic he had used to protect and free them, and she didn't know the extent of that damage. Hana found him still asleep on the couch when she rounded the corner, but she knew he needed as much as he could get, and while she silently prayed it didn't seem weird, she decided to stay. There was no way she could leave without talking to him.

With that, Hana rummaged through his kitchen until she found what she needed to make a pot of coffee. She hated food after being forced to eat a meal and breakfast each day with a mad man for two days straight, and she imagined it had left Wyatt without an apatite too. She wouldn't have been mean enough to cook and wake him up to the smell of food. But, considering she was a human, and one with an illness at that, she figured it was in her best interest to at least force herself to eat something light. After grabbing an apple off his counter, Hana leaned her back against the cold surface of it, and could barely swallow the small bite she had taken as she looked into the window, her reflection staring back at her, with plenty of marks along her face from the times he had slapped her.

She quietly sobbed for a few minutes. She'd never process an event like that one, no matter how much time past them, she'd always remember what they went through together. And she guessed that's why it made sense that she cared about Wyatt, even if she had never met him before now.

Hana couldn't safely say she knew everything about supernaturals in this city, but she knew enough to know there was an entire faction of Diviner's. Even if Wyatt had happened to be there at the wrong time, making it way to convienent for the mad man to take who and what he needed, she still figured he could have used any Diviner he wanted, as powerful as he had seemed back there. So why Wyatt? She supposed that would be the question that nagged her most.

Hana clasped onto the small flash drive she had managed to steal from their captor's house. She had a feeling that whatever was on it, would be things she didn't want to see at all, and Hana had waited for him to wake up again before addressing it at all. Plus, she didn't want to see what was on it alone. And, she wasn't sure it was something her brother should see period. Best case scenario, Wyatt wakes up, not annoyed that she's still there, and decides to openly talk to her for a while. How could she leave and just forget about him after all that they had endured? Plus, she felt this was far from over, even for Wyatt. Now that he had helped HAna, he was likely a target to the Triad as well. She needed his protection, if he'd give it.

Wyatt's eyes felt like lead, but he forced them to open regardless. He was on his couch which confused him for a moment before the sudden crushing realization of why he was there in the first place came flooding in. Sitting up, he rubbed his face in some attempts to rid himself of the fog sleeping left on a person while trying to assess how he was feeling. He noticed his body had rejuvenated some of its energy and the magic that would normally be flowing through him had significantly returned. That asshole had done a number on him and he wasn't sure if despite their escape, whether or not their captor managed to get enough of Wyatt's magic to finish whatever spellwork he was performing.

Rotating his fingers over his temples for a moment, the diviner looked around the open concept home which was quiet. He stood up slowly and proceeded towards the bedroom until his eye caught Hana looking out of the kitchen window. She seemed to be in a bit of a daze as he walked closer to her and gently laid a hand on her shoulder. "Hana?" The woman jumped slightly as she turned to face him. It was clear she had been crying as the tear streaks lined her face and she still appeared to be exhausted. He didn't want to ask if she was okay because that seemed like a stupid question. Of course she wasn't okay and he could imagine she was terrified for her brother. He wondered if she reached out to him in some attempt to see if he hadn't been harmed and to warn her him of what had happened.

Wyatt's gaze fell on the barely eaten apple in her one hand while the other seemed to be clenched tightly onto something. He reached for her small hand and raised it so she would know it was okay to let go. When her slender fingers unfolded, a flash drive lay in her palm. His brow furrowed for a moment until he realized she must've somehow taken it from their captor's. As understanding passed over his face, Wyatt looked to the flash drive in her hand and nodded. "Okay. Let's check it out."

The smell of the coffee drew his gaze for a moment before looking back to her and seeing she still looked as she had when she was taken. The bruising on Hana's face was starting to show from the assault she had endured during their kidnapping which brought about a quick wave of anger. "Why don't you wash up in the bathroom. There are towels in the closet." He lightly placed his hand on her chin, tilting her face up slightly as he surveyed the small cut that had torn her skin. "Think I might be able to help with that too," Wyatt said lightly, lowering his touch.

When Hana had gone, he slowly walked into his bedroom and leaned against the door, taking in how thankful he was to be out of that nightmare situation. The memories of what happened replayed in his mind like sputtering movie frames. Feeling the magic being pulled from him was the worst experience he'd ever gone through. He had become so lost in the horrid feeling of the thought, that he only snapped out of it when he heard the water of the sink turn off in the hallway bathroom. Wyatt realized his breathing had quickened and his hand was shaking as he relived the traumatic events in his mind. He cleared his throat and let out a calming breath before moving further into the space and changing out of his own clothes first before finding something simple of his for her to wear.

With two cups of coffee in his hand and the newly obtained outfit for Hana, the diviner stopped in front of the bathroom door. "Hana?" he softly called to her. Wyatt couldn't do much for her psyche in everything that she had gone through and probably would be going through, but at least he could help with her newly gained bruising and some clothes for now. He hoped he could do more by at least helping her brother, but they needed to have a more thorough conversation about who she was, along with the rest of her family. "Not sure how you like your coffee, but I brought you some clothes."

Hana sighed softly as her gaze lingered through the window. The snow was something she'd always found herself mesmerized by. As cold as it was, it was also beautiful, and still. Peaceful was the word the came to mind when she watched the snow. It was as though she had allowed herself to step away from herself for a moment until a familiar strong hand cupped her shoulder. No matter how familiar it was, Hana still found herself caught off guard enough to have jumped in a startled fashion. Wyatt's voice echoing out her name, however, seemed to ease her tensed up posture. "Sorry. I didn't want to wake you, and I didn't want to leave you. I'm sorry if I'm overstepping by being here still, I just - -" she swallowed harshly, finding it hard to talk without crying again. Even though the pair barely knew one another, they had just gone through hell together. Hana had never felt that way before, to fear for someone's life more than she did her own. To just want him to live even if she didn't. It was pretty overwhelming and emotional.

Hana unfolded her dainty hand without hesitation. She noted the look of confusion on Wyatt's features, and no matter how exhausted and overwhelmed they both were she allowed a coy smirk to grace her own features. "I'm not sure what's on it. It may be nothing helpful at all, but it's ours" she said proudly. They had every right to look at this flash drive after the hell that had gone through. But, she did have a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, that whatever was on this, was going to be way more disturbing than either of them had bargained for.

When Wyatt grabbed the flash drive, Hana's gaze dropped, only to be lifted again by the tips of his fingers lifting her chin. For a moment, she gazed into the man's eyes. The man who had initially saved her life and went through a great deal of pain because of her. After biting her lower lip, Hana nodded at his offer to wash up and continued surveying him as he inspected her wounds. "Thank you Wyatt. I'm so sorry for what happened to you" she swallowed harshly again. That lump of pain seemed to return each time she tried talking to him about what they'd gone through. But, right now she couldn't think about much more than a nice hot shower and having her gashes bandaged up.

Hana had finally broken down when she slipped into the bathroom, where she was alone for a moment. After sliding down the wall, and crumbling to the floor, she cried harder than she ever had in her life. She wasn't sure what this would all lead them to, her, Wyatt, and even her brother, but she had a good idea that it wasn't going to be anything good for any of them.

After spending just long enough to wash herself up, Hana heard his voice call to her through the door, and since she'd already taken some of her clothes off, she didn't bother to put them back on. Her shirt was torn and barely covered her anyways, so Hana now stood here with a towel covering her bottom half, and a black sports bra to cover the top half of her body. "I don't usually rip my clothes off for a guy I just met. " she grinned playfully in hopes to lighten the mood. She could see that Wyatt was really struggling deep down, but he did well at putting up a brave front. And that made Hana feel much better too. So, she definitely admired him for being such a strong man in this situation. Her eyes immediately locked on the coffee cup and sighed happily as she reach out and grasped it. "It's nice just the way it is, thanks" she smiled a little more brightly than she had the whole time she'd been with Wyatt.

After sitting her mug on the countertop, Hana reach out and grabbed the clothes he held for her. The outfit definitely screamed comfort, so she was ready to put it on. Joggers and a tank top were her usual stay-inside type of clothes anyways. "You're the best" she gazed for a moment longer than intended and stepped back behind the door to put the fresh change of clothes on. Hana returned to Wyatt with her coffee, and full of dread. She knew they were about to view what was on that flash drive and a part of her was terrified. Hana took a seat beside Wyatt and sipped at her coffee, occasionally glancing over at him "What do you think we'll find? That guy seemed pretty sadistic, it could literally be anything" she frowned, hoping to God he wasn't also some kind of perv who filmed himself assaulting innocent females. Anything was possible with a man like that, and frankly, he wasn't a man at all. He was a sadistic freak of nature, and sadly but truthfully, he seemed really lonely too, especially with how he'd made Hana and Wyatt join him for breakfast and dinner.

Wyatt gave a small smile at her joke as she accepted the clothes from him, but respectfully looking away still while the wet heat from the shower wafted over him with the opening of the bathroom door. He sipped from his own cup as she took the other he had poured for her and nodded. "You're welcome. I'll be in the living room." Turning to do just that, the diviner placed his coffee down on the table and opened the closet door. Inside were the two dressers and several boxes of magical supplies he used nearly everyday. Of course, with his always disorganized self, Wyatt began pulling open the drawers trying to find the ingredients he was looking for while wishing he wasn't so careless in his stocking habits.

With an armful of precarious jars and other various items, he shuffled to the table and dropped his horde. He took his sleeve and wiped the inside of a mortar, turning it over to make sure there were no remnants of the ingredients he may have used from his last spellwork before turning the jars he collected upright. He placed some Indian clay along with a few herbs in the bowl together, using the pestle to ensure they were properly grounded and mixed together. Right on cue, Hana made her way to sit beside him on the couch as he brought the mortar into his lap. "This will tingle a bit, but it won't hurt. It will feel cooling mostly." He brushed his thumb over the cut and bruising on her face with the clay mixture, softly saying a few words to a spell that would lighten the marks and quickly heal her skin.

"I have no idea what we are going to find," he quietly responded to her inquiry. Frankly, Wyatt wasn't sure he wanted to even let her be around for when he did upload the drive. Rubbing the excess mixture from his thumb against the edge of the bowl, he looked to her gaze for a moment to possibly share with her that thought, but she needed to see the truth, even if it was an awful one. He sincerely hoped it wouldn't show someone she knew being captured or tortured or maybe something worse.

Standing, Wyatt walked over to the desk he had against the wall, grabbing his laptop off of the dozens of papers and books that lay strewn about with research. He sat back down next to Hana and pressed the power button as he lifted the screen open. The familiar sound of the start up melody played from the machine and he sighed, leaning back against the seat after grabbing his cup. The liquid had cooled significantly as he sipped the coffee, eyeing the flash drive that sat beside the laptop. "Just prepare yourself. We don't know what we are about to see, okay?" Wyatt placed a comforting hand on her back for a moment before leaning forward once more to type in his password. Once his profile loaded, his fingers glided over the drive and he placed it into the USB port with a satisfying click. The computer brought up the screen asking if he wanted to open the contents and Wyatt hesitated as the cursor hovered over the driver's icon. He looked back to Hana once more for confirmation that she was ready before clicking to accept.

The drive had several files in it and Wyatt decided to open the first one labeled as surveillance. Endless amounts of pictures began to load in the file and they were all of Hana in various places around Evermore. Clearly their captor had been watching her for a while. He couldn't imagine how seeing those images must've made her feel in this moment, especially when some of them showed her through the windows of her home. Clicking on another file, it showed the locations Hana had been visiting around the city, as if it was a way to keep watch of her schedule and find the pattern in which would be the easiest to ambush her. Another file was called Ha-Joon. He didn't know if that was her brother or not, but he felt the need to stop himself before opening the folder. "Have you spoken to your brother at all?" he whispered softly in question, seeing the emotion on her face which to him meant that what he was about to open next would definitely involve her brother.

Hana was sure her face was glowing a bright red at this point. She wasn't sure what had brought on the whole shy-girl act, and it could have very well been the fact that she was half dressed, peering at Wyatt from the other side of the door. "Well, that's admirable Wyatt. Most guys would seize the opportunity" she said jokingly. She knew things were about to get real for her, especially when Wyatt loaded that hard drive. She had to find a way to cope, and joking about silly things seemed to make her feel a little better.

After Wyatt dismissed himself, Hana hurried to finish getting changed into the clothes he had given her, and when she rejoined him, she noticed the look on his face, a look she figured she now had too. Dread. Fear, etc. Hana ran her hands over her face while Wyatt walked over to a large desk to grab his laptop. Her sense of dread had turned more into a profound one, she wasn't sure if what she seen on that hardrive would make matters worse or not, what she did have a good feeling about, is that nothing was going to get better. Not anytime soon.

When the Diviner sat back down beside of her, Hana peered over her shoulder to him, feeling a slight sense of ease when he placed his hand on her back. Even if the two of them had never met before, Hana certainly felt safe with this man now. For whatever reason, she figured he would become part of her life now. To be captured together, and need to survive in a situation like they were in, definitely brings two people closer. She just felt like utter shit that Wyatt had been dragged into this. "I'm just really sorry I brought all of this into your life" with that, Hana scooted back and braced herself, unable to refrain from grabbing his free hand. It was sort of like a security method for her, if she felt his hand, she felt like maybe she'd get through this.

Hana gave one simple nod to indicate she was as ready as she was going to be when Wyatt looked to her for confirmation. When the drive loaded several different files, Hana thought, okay maybe this won't be too bad. But, the surveillance file that he decided to load first, made her simply cringe in disgust. "So many images. So many moments of my life sitting on that file.. " she trailed off with her tone cracking the more she spoke, unable to hide her emotions while tears pooled up in her doe-eyes. "Why would someone do this?" she asked absently. She knew Wyatt likely didn't have that answer, nor did Hana expect him too. She was grateful to just have his company as they went through this hard drive together. "The further you scroll, the more personal the images get" she pointed out, her big brown eyes taking in all of the images of Hana, places Hana has visited since coming into the city, and worse? People she has interacted with. Could they all be in danger now because of her? Especially Eun, who had decided to help with her case against the Triad. There were images of the two of them talking on Hana's couch, which meant the images had been taken just right outside her window, and they never even knew it. "This is so messed up" she swallowed harshly, and for a moment, she hadn't even realized the file named Ha-joon.

Letting go of Wyatt's hand, Hana stood and began pacing back and fourth. It had only now dawned on her, that it had been at least two weeks since she'd heard from Ha-joon. With Ha-joon's life becoming more busy with his dance career, and his part time job at the cafe he worked in, she hadn't thought much about it until Wyatt asked if she'd even spoken to him. "No. This can't be happening" she was panicked, and shaken to her very core to even think that she was about to see her baby brother on those files. "Click on it. I don't want to see that, but I have to." she expressed as tears gushed down her pale cheeks "I have to, right?" she added, only needing a slight push, because this was scary, and heartbreaking at the same time.

Hana took a deep breath and decided to sit back down, she shook her head as she looked to Wyatt, unable to keep herself calm but she wasn't in full freak-out mode yet. "Let's do this" she expressed it as if this had been the hardest task of her life, and wiped her eyes so she could see past the tears.

Wyatt could see the emotion swelling inside her and he couldn't blame her for how she was feeling. Looking back to the blanket that was draped over his sofa, he grabbed it and put it around her shoulders, reaching for the tissue box on the table. He didn't know if there were going to be any comforting words he could possibly say to her that might make her feel better about what she'd just seen, let alone what might be coming once he opened this file that was named just for her brother.

He finally looked away from Hana and clicked on the folder icon that brought up the filed located inside. Some of them were pictures of who he assumed to be Ha-Joon, going about the normal routine of his days. Most seemed to be in a cafe where it looked like he might be employed. From what he could tell, there was nothing in the folder that indicated he'd been harmed. At least for now. Perhaps this was just the surveillance that their captor needed in order to kidnap Ha-Joon just as he had done to Hana. So what was the locator spell for if not to find her brother? Clearly their kidnapper already had the information needed to take her brother any time he really wanted. Perhaps this was more about keeping tabs on her entire bloodline than it was so much about being solely focused on just Ha-Joon.

The woman next to him was indeed a stranger. There were secrets she probably held about her life and her family's that she wasn't being forthcoming about and of course he had no right to that information either. Her business was her business, but he was also tangled up in this now and in order to figure out what was going on, Wyatt was going to need some answers.

Exiting out of the file for her brother, his green hues couldn't help but see some of the other files had to do with money laundering and gun trade. If it wasn't clear enough what this all involved, another of the files was named Triad families with a list of names and strikeouts through a few of them. "Mafia?" Wyatt's question rang out in the quiet between them. He turned to look at Hana with the question forged in his confused features. "You're family is in the Triad?" Absolutely nothing had prepared Wyatt for seeing that. The Triad were some of the most notorious gangsters in the entire world and if she was a part of it, it meant a whole mess of trouble for her and anyone she cared about.

Wyatt stood and let out a breath, running his hand through his hair and staring off into nothingness for a moment. As he turned back to face her, it was hard to believe this small and innocent looking girl had anything to do with gangster related affairs. Then of course, he imagined she had no say in the matter even if she wanted a life of freedom from the Triad. Once you were in a mafia family there was only one way out and that was through death. Before she had the chance to answer him, he pulled his cell phone out from his pants' pocket and handed it to her. "Call your brother. We need to find him." Wyatt wasn't sure if their captor had gotten to Ha-Joon yet or not, but they were technically a day behind him if he hadn't already done something worse to her brother before getting to Hana. He could only hope that since they had greatly weakened the man before escaping, he wouldn't feel strong enough to go after Ha-Joon yet. Grabbing his leather jacket and shrugging it on, Wyatt extended his hand to hers. "I'll port us to my car that was left in Therian woods before we were taken. You can explain to me about your Triad history on the way to finding your brother." Once Hana accepted his hand, Wyatt pulled her closer and they were gone in a puff of white smoke again.

Wyatt had one of those bad-guy vibes to him, especially when Hana looked at him, but after spending the time she had with him, he was the polar opposite of a bad-boy, or troublemaker. Wyatt definitely had a humble side to him, and it had shocked Hana slightly, but she smiled nonetheless when he draped a blanket around her shoulders. This situation was impossible for Hana, so she could only imagine how out of words Wyatt must be. There wasn't much you could say to a person as distraught as Hana felt right now, but deep down, she couldn't help but wonder if Wyatt maybe felt a bit torn up himself. He had after all been used for his magic, and siphoned as if he were some sort of machine. The frail human looked up to him through her long dark lashes, offering a warm smile "Thank you Wyatt. I know this hasn't been a joy ride for you..." she said in the form of a soft tone. Her tone cracked every time she tried to speak, due to how broken she felt on the inside. It was the most defeating feeling in the world, and she knew she could do nothing but accept it.

Hana realized after the horrifying moment ended, that it could have been so much worse. She was actually thankful for what they'd found in the folder. It could have went much different and she could have been viewing gory images of a dead brother instead. After taking a deep breath, the human blushed a deep red color, realizing she'd been gripping Wyatt's knee this entire time, her eyes as big as quarters as she looked up to him, quickly releasing the death grip she had on his leg. Hana giggled at the situation and shook her head. "I'm sorry. I barely realized...." she admitted bashfully and sighed some.

Hana could barely swallow the lump that had formed in her throat when Wyatt's eyes grew wider as he skimmed through the other files and folders, and allowed his question to cut the silence between them as if it were a blade it'self. Hana had still be doing her own investiagting in hopes to have definite answers for people like Eun and now Wyatt, but it didn't take rocket science. So, with the nod of her head, Hana frowned. Hana came from Korea so she of course knew about all of this, but the extent of it? She hadn't had her personal run-in's with this stuff until now. There were plenty of question marks floating around her own head. But, before she could answer any of the questions Wyatt had asked, Hana was reach a phone, immediately doing as Wyatt asked by dialing her brothers number.

It was never certain that Ha-joon would pick his phone up, so right now, her nerves were shot. If he didn't answer, it could mean so many things, including the fact that her captor had gotten to him finally. Perhaps the Diviner that had tortured her and Wyatt earlier, was doing this on purpose, he now had Wyatt's blood at his disposal as well as Hana's, and luring Hana and Wyatt back in with Ha-joon there could be the ultimate goal. The phone began to ring, and it seemed like the longest ring Hana had ever heard.. and by the fourth ring, her hands began trembling. "He's okay.. surely he's okay" she whispered, and repeated that a few times until Ha-joon's voicemail came on. Ha-joon's sweet voice caused the tears in her eyes to burn down her cheeks once again.  "What do you think this means.. after  the images we looked at..? d-do you think they got to him?" That question was probably one of the hardest she'd ever asked as they now sat in Wyatt's vehicle after having poofed in a cloud of smoke.

With her doe eyes widened, Hana glared at Wyatt a little "That's something I'll never get used to" her arms were crossed because of the stress of this whole situation.. but her tone held a playfulness to hopefully lighten a really bad mood. "We can go to the cafe where he works, the studio where he dances, or my apartment.. I want to check those three before I assume the worse has happened.. after that, I guess the decisions are yours" Hana's expression was solid, and serious.. and after programming her address into his GPS, the human laid her head against the back of the seat and hoped like hell her brother was safe and sound.

((( We can discuss the next few posts if needed, I will either pc or inbox you with a couple ideas I have )))

As they appeared where it had all began for them, Wyatt's hues immediately moved about the space. He had ported them just behind the large boulders of where he'd parked his car in Therian woods, giving them enough cover in case his car was being watched. There didn't seem to be anyone in the vicinity and the only sounds came from the soft breeze through the trees and sweet calls of the morning doves. He instinctively placed an arm in front of Hana to keep her behind him as he waited a few more baited breaths until deciding that they were indeed alone.

Turning back to the small woman, he could see how shaken up she was. It was hard to believe this innocent looking person was part of a group of dangerous people like the Triad. Wyatt looked around them one more time to deem it would be safe to move before finally ushering her quickly with him towards his car. Opening the door for her to sit, the diviner pulled the glove compartment down and nodded towards the gun there. "A bullet can be faster than the words of a spell sometimes." Wyatt knelt down and took the firearm, handing it to her. She was only human after all and not knowing exactly who and what they were up against made him already feel outnumbered and in the dark. "Keep it on you just in case."

Wyatt did a once over of the car and tried to sense any tracking spells that might've been attached to her, but from what he could determine, there was nothing; Or so he assumed. He slid into the driver's seat and was happy to hear the engine rumble to life. It was a small victory he would take seeing as there was no way to continuously teleport he and Hana all over Evermore in search of her brother and to stay safe. If something bad were to happen, he'd only be able to get them away once more, possibly making the hard decision to leave her brother behind if they did find him. It was something he didn't want to think about, but all of them being captured was worse than just one.

It was hard to answer Hana's question about her brother's safety. Wyatt didn't want to lie, but of course he honestly didn't know the truth either. "I can't say for sure. I know they, whoever they are, seem to be desperate about finding your family." He watched as she punched in the GPS address to the residential street. He assumed it must be where she was staying and followed the directions the automated voice instructed. "Why are they after your family, Hana? If I'm going to be of any kind of help at all, I need to know what's going on." Wyatt's green hues glanced over to her looking very small and innocent in the passenger seat before bringing his focus back on the road ahead to take the next turn. "It's fairly obvious that diviner who took us works for whoever is coming for you and your brother. Some type of hired hitman, but of the diviner variety. Hopefully he's still recovering from our last encounter and we've given ourselves a window, but I don't know for how long. I still don't even feel at full capacity myself."

Turning down the street which indicated they had arrived at Hana's place, he parked further away than the actual address. Wyatt wasn't going to take any chances in being seen. "I think it's better we cloak ourselves before going in. We don't know who's watching and if they've put any spellwork into your home. We already know that asshole has been watching you for a while now. There could be others." Wyatt took her hand in his and with a few words, they disappeared from sight.
