Aurantia burst into peals of laughter as she watched the facial expressions chase one another across the Nephilim's face. At first he hadn't caught onto the bait she was laying down and when he finally had his shock was evident. It made her laugh while at the same time she felt heart sick that he was so guarded that a genuine offer of friendship and help was met with caution and complete surprise. It told her volumes about his past and explain the wariness that natural ran through his personality. Thankfully since their meeting so many hours ago she had managed to get past those walls to the man beneath. Shrugging at his continued awe at her offer the redhead explained, “I'm not just anyone, I'm'a friend. This place is ideal fer a single person an’ an animal or two. It'd be a shame fer it ta go unoccupied after I spent so much time puttin’ it t'gether.”

Wrinkling her nose at his apparent wariness she leaned against the counter and slipped her hands in her pockets. “If it'll make ya feel better ya can pay rent. We can work out a contract and once a week ya can work on those cookin’ skills and fix dinner fer tha two of us.” Grinning with good natured amusement she meant every word, though she wouldn't hold him too tightly to that last part. It was rare and difficult for someone like her to find good friends and thanks to an errant kid she had one fall into her lap. It was a friendship she wasn't going to be willing to let go of and one she would work to foster. The Nephilim talked quite blatantly about being a loner, a situation she wouldn’t see continue into his life here in Evermore. Everyone needed family, even if they weren’t directly related.

Talking about fishing always got her excited, it was always a good time to relax and reflect. Or read. Or sleep. Many times she had slipped away from her siblings with the excuse of fishing and more often than not she’d been caught by either Aureus or Argent napping by the lake. There was something about laying out in the warm sunshine, listening to the sounds of nature that never failed to lull her to sleep. “Good! I never turn away a good fishin’ buddy.” One thing she could say, even when she fell asleep she did manage to catch a fish or two. It was a gift.

Grinning she moved towards the door with him, the pair slipping on their shoes as he thanked her both for the food and for events that had lead to their friendship. As they walked down the stairs she logged his number into her own phone, shooting his a quick text so that he had hers as well. “I had fun today. Seems Houdini had some other powers besides bein’ a little pain.” That goat hopefully would calm down once he aged up a bit, but in the meantime he was keeping the redhead on her toes. Waving away his concerns Tia laughed, “Please. I doubt ya could be creepy even if y’were tryin’.” Once outside she walked with him to the end of the drive, aware that she had a big Percheron approaching from behind.

“Think ‘bout my offer. I’ll be moved out in a few days an’ tha’ perfectly good flat will be vacant.” Shooting him a wink she turned and walked a bit up the drive, using the flow of gravity to propel herself up and onto Jasper’s back. Once seated comfortably she gave him a final wave, wheeled the horse around, and took off at a brisk canter back towards the barn.
He didn’t catch on to where s…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-27:6610746:Comment:3619312019-03-27T23:45:45.796Z✓ Aeryn Zephon Constantinehttps://eternalcityrp.com/profile/R

He didn’t catch on to where she was going when she talked about the flat at first, he wasn’t really the kind to expect other people to be...well nice, honestly, so he gave her a dumbfounded look for a moment until he eventually realized that she was offering him to stay at this place. Even after the realization set in he just kinda sat there in disbelief at how kind the offer was, he had just been venting more than anything but he also couldn’t ignore such a major thing “Sorry I’m just a little shocked” he commented with a laugh and leaned his hand against his cheek “I don’t think anyone has ever been that kind to me, especially not someone I just met”.

He probably had enough money to buy out his lease on the other place and this location was so much nearer to the city than his little flat in the Diviner territory, not to mention how beautiful it was here “There’s gotta be a catch right?” he asked with raised brows, not that he was questioning Tia’s intentions at all, he’d already gotten a pretty good feel for who she was over the course of the evening and he was very good at knowing when someone wasn’t being genuine with him, he just honestly didn’t believe in good things happening anymore. The idea of being able to have a pet in his home was honestly such a joyful thought in itself.

Aeryn chuckled softly when he mentioned his way of handling women, that was exactly what he did, he didn’t feel the need to treat women any different to the way he did men, he respected people who could stand up for their own thoughts and opinions regardless of who they were “I always find life is more exciting when you let people be exactly who they want to be” he mused with a shrug, holding people back never made things better for anyone and he hated to see people forced into a corner or made to feel like there was anything wrong with them being themselves “The rest of us should get out of the way” he smiled a little.

It was interesting to hear about being raised in the south, Aeryn was born so long ago that the place he called home had changed names more time than he remembered and he didn’t really have any good memories of it, all of it was marred now by the things his father had done and Nephilim had all but burned the very thoughts from his mind “Sounds exciting” he commented as he ate a few more bites of the meal stopping to sip down his beer every so often, honestly he could have wolfed it all down pretty quickly and would have if it wasn’t for the fact he was enjoying the conversation between the two of them “I don’t really remember all that much from when I was younger, though I was always the loner type, didn’t really get taught the community spirit” he shrugged, not that he hated people or anything, it just wasn’t his life.

The moment he mentioned never going fishing she was on the subject like it was an insult to her pride which made him laugh a little shaking his head with a slightly clueless shrug “It’s always something I meant to do but it takes a lot of time and patience, two things I sorely lack lately” he shook his head a little, though the idea of getting out and meeting up with a friend was really nice to him, especially because he didn’t have very many of those, plus fishing sounded like a good way to wind down “Okay we’ll do it” he affirmed with a gentle nod of his head “I will even give you my number so I can’t back out of it” he commented with a chuckle as he set down his fork after finishing the last bite of the meal.

Listening to her as she talked about the person she was and her feelings about coming to Evermore were both inspiring and relatable to him, coming here really had changed him and he’d only been here a few months. For someone like an Ailward Aspect he imagined the concept of home was even stranger, their home was the world they protected after all and it did make him wonder how much of a life you got to have outside of that. Tia had mentioned she had a boyfriend though, so he figured that meant she got to seek out some level of her own hopes and dreams “’m starting to think Evermore might have put a spell on us all” Aeryn commented with a wry shake of his head.

“I should be heading off and getting out of your hair” he commented as he followed her into the kitchen carrying through the tray that the potatoes had been in and set it down by the sink “But I wanted to say first that uh…” he chuckled softly “This has been a real eye-opener to me, thanks to Houdini and you so” he shrugged “Thanks” he spoke before he pulled out his phone and put up his own number on the screen “No creepy intentions I promise, I just really wanna make that fishing trip happen” he chuckled, normally when you gave someone you just met your number it was because you wanted to date them but it wasn’t like that at all, he just really wanted a friend and saw that potential in the redheaded aspect.
Aurantia looked around the sp…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-27:6610746:Comment:3622172019-03-27T01:43:46.894Z0gifvboktc25uhttps://eternalcityrp.com/xn/detail/u_0gifvboktc25u

Aurantia looked around the sparse yet comfortable flat, as the Nephilim lamented not being able to have a dog. She sensed he was was lonely, that his past had made that a necessity and he was easing into a change in circumstance.
Aurantia looked around the sparse yet comfortable flat, as the Nephilim lamented not being able to have a dog. She sensed he was was lonely, that his past had made that a necessity and he was easing into a change in circumstance. Recognizing it was easy, she had been in the exact same situation not too long ago. Unfortunately she hadn't had anyone to help her through it, she had struggled on her own until finding a direction that had renewed her spirit. Since then the female had made it her mission to help others, her siblings were more on the stubborn side and while she sensed a strong will in Aeryn she also surmised a practical mind. “Ya know this flat is being vacated in a couple weeks. The current tenant is moving in with her boyfriend and I know the landlord.” She grinned in a conspiratorial manner, “I could talk to her, give ya an in and I know fer a fact she'd let ya have as many dogs as ya wanted.”

Leases were easy to get out of, especially when a person knew what to look for in the contracts. Money wasn’t exactly an object either, the Ailwards had amassed several fortunes over the course of their existence and she had free reign over a couple of those accounts. It wouldn’t cost her very much to buy him out of his lease and get him into somewhere a little more hospitable to both himself and his mental health. Banning a person from owning a pet was tantamount to banishing them to a realm of anxiety and loneliness which the redhead was not going to allow for one of her friends. Though she wouldn’t push, it would have to be completely up to Aeryn.

Snorting in a good natured fashion at his crack concerning the strong women in his life her respect for him grew. It took a solid man to handle the type of women that were running around in this day and age. With the suffrage movement and in recent years the feminist movement it was become more acceptable for the fairer sex to be more prominent members of society. Granted, Tia didn’t buy into everything that was spouted by those purporting to be full on feminists, but she could appreciate the strength and resilience of her fellow females as they asserted themselves quite spectacularly. Pointing at him with her fork she grinned, “Tha’ is tha mark of a smart man. Ya don’t really handle them, ya jus’ kinda go along with it.” Chuckling she shoveled some more food into her mouth, nodding once again as he complimented the food.

“Naw, when ya raised in tha south ya learn to always been prepared.” Sitting back down after having handed him several cookbooks Tia curled up on leg underneath her, cutting up the last of her steak into manageable bites. “When I was younger ya never knew when someone was gonna stop by, so it was a commonplace thing ta have snacks and even whole meals on hand.” Shrugging she took a bite and chewed thoughtfully, as it was a habit that despite all the long years of her second life had yet to die. Probably would never die, as she was proud of her heritage and liked to keep that link with her previous life. The conversation turned to his fencing hobby and she nodded, continuing to eat as he regaled the merit of the sport. It wasn’t one she was familiar with, though self defense and the ability to wield a weapon no doubt came close.

Aeryn spoke about his other interests with a zeal she found adorable and quaint, his comments about his bar made her laugh though once more she neglected to comment. If the place didn’t have a good dance floor with some good ole’ country music she wasn’t exactly going to be interested, and saying so would be rude. Her eyes widened at his confession, “Ya never been fishin’? Boy wha’ is wrong with you?! We have got ta fix tha’ post haste.” She grinned, taking her last bite of steak and wiping her mouth with her napkin. “We need ta schedule a time and I’ll teach ya ta fish. Nothin’ to it.” Aurantia liked to fish, it was past time that enable a person to sit and think, or sit and think of nothing at all.

His question made her pause, her smile turning a bit wistful as her mind turned to all that had happened since coming into Evermore. There had been ups and downs, times when she thought she might never recover….but then she had. Spreading her metaphorical wings and marking a space out of the world just for herself. It had been a liberating experience, to learn after hundreds of years that she could make something of herself outside of being one part of an eight piece set. “Ya know I do. Fer years I’d jus’ been tha Aspect of Elements, one of eight powers charged with takin’ care of the world. Since comin’ here I rediscovered who I am and who I wanna be. Not just an Aspect, but a woman with hopes and dreams. A woman with power and abilities that very few can match.” She looked down at her hands, thinking of how much more she’d learned about her powers since getting out into the world.

“They say once a person comes ta Evermore they change, an’ I didn’t believe tha’ until now.” She chuckled quietly before rising, gathering up the dirty plates and carrying them into the kitchen.
Aeryn agreed with her, you co…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-20:6610746:Comment:3603512019-03-20T00:07:32.727Z✓ Aeryn Zephon Constantinehttps://eternalcityrp.com/profile/R

Aeryn agreed with her, you could tell a lot about a person from the way they were with animals, those who were kind and patient with them tended to reflect those traits around other people too, if an animal didn’t like someone, he tended to find their instincts were really spot on “She’s got a little pup that she absolutely dotes on, I’m a little jealous cause I’d love a pup of my own” he chuckled softly thinking about the long walks he’d probably go on with his companion “Alas my landlord…

The Nephilim laughed and raised his hand as though he was going to whisper, resting it against his mouth though he still spoke in the same volume he had before “Truth be told I don’t know how to handle them at all, but it doesn’t stop me coming back for more” he chuckled softly as he lowered his hand back to his side and then linked his fingers through his other hand, he could get shot down a thousand times and still keep getting up, he wasn’t the type to scare easily, especially when he liked someone. As he was eating the steak he sighed with content “Damn this seriously is amazing” he complimented as he swallowed down another bite and then grabbed his beer to take a long drink of it.

He was a little surprised when she got up from the table but he just leaned back in his chair following where she went with his eyes before she returned back to where he was “You even came prepared” the Nephilim chuckled softly as he eyed the books she had set out and nodded his head slightly, they did look pretty tasty from the pictures on the front at the very least. “Are you sure you weren’t expecting company?” the Nephilim jested noting the way that she entertained a stranger coming over for dinner with such ease. Or he supposed they weren’t strangers any longer, Aeryn had managed to find a new friend in the red-headed aspect, which was a nice thought considering he didn’t have many of those.

Aeryn laughed when she pointed out fencing being a hobby of the past nowadays “A shame really considering it’s such a challenging and fun sport” he commented with a shrug, he enjoyed it a lot, it took skill and control and precision, all things he enjoyed to practice and perfect. When she asked him what a bar of sorts was he let out a low rumble of laughter “Your guess is as good as mine right now, we’re still trying to figure out what we want to make, something unique hopefully, but neither of us are exactly businessmen” he hoped to figure it out as they went along, though Mikael seemed set on something focused around time periods.

“I’ve never actually been fishing you know” Aeryn commented with a laugh “Always meant to because it sounded like something I’d like but, but never really stayed in one place for long enough to know where to start” Aeryn had spent most of his life moving from one place to another. He found it interesting how Tia seemed to know quite literally everything about her surroundings, she was very clued in and down to earth which was honestly refreshing, most people in the city seemed to have their heads in the clouds “I may just have to check it out” he nodded, it had been so long since he went sailing, he really missed every part of it, though he wasn’t sure how he would feel considering it was the last thing he had been doing before he had been forced into a coma “Sounds like you really like it here?” Aeryn suggested his previous thoughts into words.
Grinning Tia turned to look a…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-19:6610746:Comment:3603232019-03-19T15:19:28.438Z0gifvboktc25uhttps://eternalcityrp.com/xn/detail/u_0gifvboktc25u

Grinning Tia turned to look at Aeryn, “Anyone who likes animals is a person I can git along with.” It was getting more and more rare to find individuals who saw animals for what they were: innocent souls who simply wanted to live and love. It disgusted her the depravity that humans had stopped to, leaving their pets out in the cold and even allowing some to abuse and dismember them.
If ever she was to meet such a monster the Aspect wasn't sure she could keep her oath of nonviolence. Killing was out of the question but she could certainly inflict great pain upon some hapless victim. It boiled her blood and sparked the temper that ran just below the surface of her personality.

Yanking her mind from such dark thoughts she managed to smile over his acknowledgment of the type of women he attracted. She sensed there was something else beneath the surface of his comment but decided not to push. They had only met a few hours ago, and that was not a discussion for fresh friends. Curning her curiosity she giggled quietly, “Good. Strong women are in short demand an’ we need men who can handle'em.” Shooting him a wink she tucked more firmly into the meal. Her steak was nice and pink inside, steam rising from every slice of the meat along with the fragrant scent of spices that made her stomach rumble. Her smile grew wider at his compliment, nodding her head in appreciation as it was always nice to get a little praise.

Thinking for a moment as she chewed the redhead rose for a moment, padding into the kitchen to open a small cabinet right above the stove. Looking over her selection she grabbed a book on grilling recipes and another the provided an array of quick and easy recipes that could be cooked up in a single large skillet. As an afterthought she took put a slimmer book, dessert centric she placed it on top of the stack and placed them on the counter. Her steel blue eyes held his gaze as she tapped the books with her finger, “Stary with these. Simple an’ easy ta follow an’ above all delicious.” Over the course of her long life, she'd had several Guard members collect cookbooks on their missions. Half of her collection had been courtesy of Octavia, some of her fondest memories had been of the two of them in the kitchen after acquiring a new one and trying out dozens of dishes.

Sitting back down she ate some more, listening to the Nephilim detail out his current occupation and things he liked to do for fun. Smiling wide she nodded her head, “Fencin’. Boy, ya don't find many people these days who even know what's fencin’ is!” Taking another bit of her steak she thought about his business venture, her grin turning a little wry, “Wha’ exactly is a ‘bar a’ sorts’?” She was teasing partly, while also curious as to what he meant. It had been a long time since she had stepped foot in such a place. Her favored bar scene usually featured country music and a good sized area for dancing.

Thinking over his second hobby, her head cocked thoughtfully to the side the Aspect chewed on bites of her dinner. “No good place fer sailin’ in town though the river is a perfect place ta fish and kayak.” Her knowledge of some of the outlying areas though made her expression brighten. “Actually if yes go a little south a’ here tha Cherry Creek Reservoir is perfect fer sailin’. Good size an’ plenty'a wind.” Colorado was a great place to live, plenty of places that provided for an array of hobbies and activities to keep just about anyone busy. It was one of the reasons she was secretly glad she and her siblings no longer lived on the Isle of Skye. She wouldn't divulge that nugget of truth however, as it was not a popular opinion among the Ailwards and would surely start a fight.
Aeryn laughed softly when Tia…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-09:6610746:Comment:3589002019-03-09T20:32:54.323Z✓ Aeryn Zephon Constantinehttps://eternalcityrp.com/profile/R

Especially because the two of them had only just been reunited after far too many years apart. Willa had become her own person in that time and he was still learning who she was now, she wasn’t the same girl she had been that fateful night they were made immortal and neither was he “I’m pretty sure she’d like to meet you too, though you may never get rid of her, she’s a sucker for animals” he chuckled, if Willa came to this ranch she would probably spend the entire time in the barn showing affection to all the animals Tia kept.

Before coming to Evermore city Aeryn had lived what could be seen as quite a lonely life, he had spent the majority of his time running from place to place in the name of protecting the stone. He was still playing that game, the cursed item hanging nearly on a chain around his neck at all times, his duty to protect it was always there. Now he was here in the eternal city though he found a certain string in him that longed to stay, there were good people here and he could see himself finding happiness here, which also scared him a little. When she commented that he attracted strong women he chuckled softly his mind flashing to the blonde therianthrope alpha he found himself connecting with “You have no idea” he stated with an amused chuckle “Wouldn’t want it any other way though” he stated honestly, he liked people who could challenge him.

The dark haired male liked the sound of her laugh, it was uplifting and melodic and brought a natural smile to his lips, it was rare that you met someone who could laugh so freely with someone they didn’t know all that well, though the more time that passed the more it felt like he’d known her for much longer than a few hours “Books huh?” he raised his brows, he’d never owned a cooking book in his life if he was honest “Any recommendations for a good one?” he asked as he looked down to the plate she had set out for him and licked his lips, it smelled absolutely divine, there was no denying. He was just about done added pepper to the meat and eating a mouthful of the potato when she came back from outside “This.” he stated bluntly “May possibly be the best potato I’ve ever had” he commended with a chuckle before digging into a second bite.

When she asked him what he liked to do he smiled softly and turned his gaze away from the food and over to the redhead for a few seconds “Hmm” he debated, what did he like to do with his spare time that wasn’t totally predictable “A friend of mine and I are working on starting a business, a bar of sorts” he admitted with a shrug “So a lot of my time goes into the planning for that right now and while it might be work, I really enjoy it” he nodded and then continued “As for hobbies…” he popped his lips “I’m really into sailing and fencing” which were really random hobbies, especially because Colorado was a landlocked state and had no sea to sail on.
The redhead grinned as Aeryn…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-08:6610746:Comment:3588502019-03-08T15:10:28.022Z0gifvboktc25uhttps://eternalcityrp.com/xn/detail/u_0gifvboktc25u

The redhead grinned as Aeryn mentioned his sister and her personality. The more she learned about the Nephilim the more she found she liked him, he was straightforward and honest.
The redhead grinned as Aeryn mentioned his sister and her personality. The more she learned about the Nephilim the more she found she liked him, he was straightforward and honest. The two were traits that were becoming harder and harder to find, as society had begun drifting towards being hypersensitive about everything and developed tendencies toward subterfuge. It made no sense to the Aspect, having lived in a time when honesty and loyalty were valued above all else. Add to that being part of a species who look for the good in people she couldn't understand the need to hide things or outright lie. “I think I'd like ta meet this sister'a yers. She sounds like my kinda gal.”

Since moving out of the manner Tia had come to realize how little she interacted with others. How few friends she had in her life. It was a sad and sobering realization that had spurred her into getting out and about more, forging connections whenever and wherever possible. Meeting a relative of Aeryn's would be fun and give her another potential friend. Nodding her head she grabbed a meat thermometer, carrying it over to the grill to gauge how much longer the steaks would need. “Couple more minutes.” She murmured, bursting into laughter at the male's summation of the treatment he would get from an old flame. Turning she gave him a teasing look, “Ya seem ta attract strong and outspoken women. Ya must bring it out in'em.”

Grinning Aurantia grabbed a couple of plates and set the table, setting out two glasses of water and all the condiments that might be needed. Giggling as the talk of cooking and shows came up the female took the steaks and potatoes off the grill, set one of each on a plate. “Yeah. Tha shows are good bu’ I always preferred book recipes. A'course there's tha internet now too which makes things even easier.” Setting some things in the sink she waved him to the table, “Help herself. I don't stand on ceremony.” While he situated himself she walked back to the grill, banking the coals so that the fire was out and the thing would cool down. Once that was finished she joined him, scooting her chair close to the table with a satisfied inhale that put the delicious smell of grilled meat solidly at the forefront of her attention.

Fixing up her baked potato she peeled off the foil, balling it up and letting it sit to the side. Next came butter and little garlic salt, mixing it all together while she spoke. “So, besides savin’ wayward goats wha’ do ya like ta do fer fun?” Tia felt like she had talked more and knew very little of her new friend outside of the fact that he had had a very hard and solitary life.
Aeryn was probably considered…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-06:6610746:Comment:3588172019-03-06T23:53:31.942Z✓ Aeryn Zephon Constantinehttps://eternalcityrp.com/profile/R

Aeryn was probably considered an expert on supernatural species, part of the job title of guardian of El'Ar was knowing everything and anything about those you were up against. The Nephilim knew about species that were not even present in Evermore but the aspects had always been the one that evaded him, being that there were only 8 of them and they tended to stay together and in one place it was nearly unheard of to meet one in person. Aeryn didn't get bad impressions from Tia though, she actually seemed pretty normal despite how significant she was.

“That's perfect” he responded with a quick nod of his head, he wasn't a fussy eater, you could pretty much anything in front of him and he would at least give it a try, he swigged at the beer she had given him before setting it down on the table again. He smiled softly when she said she had someone that reminded her to look up “I had one of those” he admitted with a conflicted look, it was over 100 years ago now but there had been a time when he was due to be married and she had been a lot in a very dark time for the Nephilim “Pretty sure she'd be kicking my ass for not getting up and moving on” he mused with a laugh, he still missed her a lot but she was always the type who told him to make the best of things and sometimes he wondered if he failed her.

Aeryn chuckled a little “That's okay, I think it'll be something I suffer with myself” that was just the kind of person he was really, he preferred to do things by himself than to lean on others, didn't want to be a bother to other people mostly. Aeryn knew the kind of person he was, he didn't like to make plans or promises he didn't intend to actually keep “They have those cooking shows on the TV right?” He was pretty sure he'd seen one while exploring anyway “Maybe I'll attempt to record and follow one of them” which would probably turn out as badly as it sounded like it would.
Aurantia instinctively shrugg…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-03-05:6610746:Comment:3582812019-03-05T19:06:58.527Z0gifvboktc25uhttps://eternalcityrp.com/xn/detail/u_0gifvboktc25u

Aurantia instinctively shrugged, pausing with her amber halfway to her lips as she processed what he said. It was a fair comment and yet her natural reaction had been to shrug. As if it were no big deal and yet she knew in her heart he was right. It was a lot of pressure and with tensions mounting throughout the city she felt the weight of her responsibility even more sharply.
Bringing the bottle firmly to her lips she took a pull and then set it back down on the counter. “It is.” Grinning as he called her a badass, well her power but she controlled it so he had meant her by proxy.

Turning she grabbed a small bowl of melted butter and herbs, fishing around in one of the drawers for her seasoning brush. Locating it she walked back out onto the porch and doused the steaks liberally with the mixture. “Don’ get me wrong. It can be overwhelmin’ and there are days I jus’ wanna scream an’ unleash it all. Mah family causes tha mos’ stress though so if I can handle them I can handle anythin’.” It was safe to think about it that way but after a few conversations with Clay it had all become rather clear. Venetus was her biggest frustration and lately Malva had even managed to ruffle her feathers.

Flipping the steaks over she applied the mixture again and replaced the lid once more. “Medium rare okay?” Coming back inside she set the little bowl in the sink and retrieved her beer. At his question she had to fight to keep from shrugging, chuckling at herself. “Kinda yeah. Some days are easier than others. I have mah bad days jus’ like anyone else bu’ I have someone who reminds me to look on tha’ brightside.” Clay was her light, which made him laugh given he was a creature of shadow. “Before him I use ta be a broody ass wench.” Laughing at her own memories of her surely self she took another drink as her blue eyes leveled on his face.

“Cookin’ isn't rocket science.” She giggled, shooting him a teasing wink. “I can offer some lessons though most'a mah recipes are pretty rustic.” Comfort food with a healthy twist, hearty and filling without weighing a person down. Most of her cooking was done on the grill with lots of seasoning and veggies, flavorful with lots of color. Clay cooked along the same lines and with his beef mixed with her natural ingredients they ate well. Really well.
Aeryn wasn’t all that bitter…tag:eternalcityrp.com,2019-02-17:6610746:Comment:3552432019-02-17T16:53:19.799Z✓ Aeryn Zephon Constantinehttps://eternalcityrp.com/profile/R

Aeryn wasn’t all that bitter about the time he had lost really, they would have just been another 100 years spent running and being away from his sister, waking up when he did probably just saved him that time and now he could be around Willa again. It was Aeryn’s chance to start over and Tia was right in that respect, getting lost in the past and the things he had been through would probably just hold him back from any kind of happiness in the end.
And Aeryn wanted it, it was something he had told himself he couldn’t have for most of his life, but lately he found himself wanting to reach out for the possibility of it with both hands, grab it and never let go “Also fair” he commented remembering that before they were dragons, the aspects had been normal supernatural beings.

Aeryn raised his own beer to his lips taking a long drink of the liquid, it was actually more refreshing than he was expecting it to be, he normally was more of a spirits person but he didn’t mind a beer on occasion. He had to admit he was curious what it was like to be an Ailward aspect, for your existence to literally be tied to the world, that very thought sounded crazy and Aeryn had seen a lot in his life “Sounds like a lot of pressure” he commented noting the way that her and the other 7 almost seemed to have to be in the media “But a pretty badass power to have if you ask me” there was no doubt that it was a lot of responsibility of course but Tia seemed to be pretty humble with it, no taking over the world vibes.

Aeryn really was curious how she did it, nearly every immortal he’d met suffered from some kind of depression or self-doubt and yet Tia was an example of someone who seemed to just push the world back when it tried to kick her down. It was cute, the way she rocked her feet together and sat on the counter like a child, maybe the secret was staying young-hearted. Aeryn moved to lean his back against the counter as he continued to talk “So your answer is just to look for the positives?” he chuckled softly, well he supposed it was better than dwelling on the negatives “Insightful” he commented with a chuckle. “I should really learn to cook” he commented as he watched her taking care of the food, it was one of those skills he really needed but had yet to take the effort to learn, maybe he could start learning things as a way to influence positivity.
