Florian was sprawled out in her queen sized bed in her bedroom at her apartment, her head was pounding with a nasty headache from the heavy drinking she had been doing the previous night. There was no light in sight and the curtains of her window were blocking out the morning sun. Her eyes cracked opened and she groaned slightly, her self loathing needs to stop but she couldn't help it, she lost everyone and everything she loved. Her husband who she was married for a number of years, her mother when she was younger, the village she grew up in and most of all, the two children she miscarriaged. She blamed everything on herself. She slowly sat up on her bed as she stared at the mirror of her wardrobe, her hair was a mess and her make up was running down her face due the crying she had been doing last night. What was I drinking last night? She thought to herself as she slowly tried to remembered what she was up to last night, she was out in the city, getting drunk in the bars. Something she hadn't done it in a little while but it bought back her memories, her bad memories.
She checked the time on her bedside table, it was close to midday and she knew she had to get something to eat. She had no food in the house and it was time for her to seek some help, at least, try to and hopefully heal herself from the past she had. Sighing to herself, she got up from her bed and headed to her bathroom, quickly showering to get rid of the alcohol stench that she had on herself before finding a new outfit to wear for the day, heading for a dress that was knee length, a floral pattern on it and it was a soft yellow design. She made sure that all the make up was off her face before reapplying new make up and straightening her hair, finally once she was done, she grabbed her purse and headed out of the apartment.
It didn't take her long until she made her way to the human territory where she saw an advertisement about counselling on her mobile phone when she was browsing the web in the Evermore community, once she found the address, she was determined to find where it was. But first stop was getting food, her stomach rumbled and her head still pounded but she tried to ignore that part of it. Heading to a local fast food chain, she ordered a burger and some chips as well as a soda, paying for them, she headed back out with the food in the paper bag, she began to munch on the chips as she continued to walk down the city, finding the place where they advertised the counselling session which was free to participate.
Checking her phone once more to see where she was going through Google Maps, her eyes flickered around, before spotting the small office across the street, that was the destination. She quickly ate her burger before she headed towards the office, throwing the paper bag away into the bin. She entered inside the counselling room, nerves began to unsettle her. She chewed her bottom lip before she took a flyer to see what it was about, thanking the woman who gave it to her. There was a table of tea and coffee as well as sweet biscuits, people were introducing themselves to each other but she remained to the furthest of the room. Nervous as all hell. A woman who she saw earlier smiled at her before urging her forward, she inwardly groaned before she headed over to the woman.
''Hi there, my name is Marie. Thank you so much for coming and I hope you find comfort here. What is your name, ma'am?'' Marie asked with the smile still lifting across her lips. Florian cleared her throat before she ran a hand through her straightened brunette hair, ''I'm Florian Kruger.'' She said to her with her thick accent. Marie noted it down on her piece of paper before she continued on. ''We are all here to listen, so please take a sit when we are about to start.'' Marie said before she wandered off elsewhere, her eyes flickered around the room before she quickly took a seat in the middle of the room. Her leg bouncing up and down due to her nerves as she waited for the session to begin.
Sunlight filtered through pink curtains and brung out the golden highlights in the sleeping boy's hair. The curtains had never been pulled back in this room ever since the boy who the room belonged to lost his boyfriend. The golden-haired boy had refused sunlight and happiness for three years and had even left his house unless he needed food. The people that knew him and were friends with him had understood but some had told him to try and get over it. It would be no use pining over someone who wouldn't come back. So that's why last night after breaking down to his brother and sister, he signed up for a support group that helped people with mental disorders and other things that plagued them. Seonghwa had finally realized that it was time to move on and start over. He could sense that Ayno thought that too because his hallucinations were starting to recede. Ace was finally ready for happiness and love again, even if it meant he had to wait for it. He would wait for a while to find someone who would love him how he was, damaged but ready to be a ray of sunshine again like he was in high school.
Rolling over on his side, he stretched before opening his green eyes and squinting against the brightness. That was something he wasn't used too, and the growling from his stomach was definitely something he wasn't used too. Normally he didn't eat a thing at all, but for some reason, he really wanted spicy fried chicken right now. Placing his feet on the floor, he stretched again before going to his closet to pick out clothes for the day. As he was feeling better about himself, he put on a pair of bright yellow skinny jeans, a black and white raglan long-sleeved shirt, and black and white converse. He also put effort into his makeup and spritzed on cologne before grabbing his keys and leaving his apartment.
It was a nice day outside and he wanted to enjoy it. The sun was out and the trees looked greener than they did in winter usually, so it was a sign that spring was coming. Searching up the name of the counseling center on his iPhone, he set it down on the corvette's dashboard and headed off towards the local Korean fast food joint that his friend JinJin ran. Parking outside of the place, he ran inside and then came back out with a bag and a drink in his other hand. He'd just eat the chicken on his way there, and if he didn't finish it, it'd be okay. JinJin had been surprised to see him so upbeat, so he had given him a free box of Ace's favorite dessert. Mochi.
Traffic wasn't that bad and the office wasn't that far away, so he sat in the parking lot and ate his food with a pair of chopsticks so he wouldn't mess up his clothes or his hands. Finishing it, he took a sip of his soda and turned the Corvette off. Once he got in the office, it didn't look as bad as he thought it would look. A black-haired woman handed him a flyer and smiled at him. Looking down he read it and then looked up to see the woman still standing next to him. She looked like she was about to say something to him, so Seonghwa tilted his head and golden curls fell in his face. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a table filled with tea and coffee and cookies. The woman smiled at him again and urged him to come with her, so he did, knowing that it was a safe place and nobody would hurt him.
"Hi! My name is Marie. I hope you find comfort here! May I ask your name, sir?" The woman asked him with a sweet smile. Ace hesitated a bit before giving her an answer. "Ace Kang, ma'am." He replied and saw Marie take his name down on a piece of paper. "We're all here to listen, so please take a seat anywhere. We're about to start." She said, and he didn't stay to listen to the rest. He saw an empty seat beside a pretty brunette girl, so he decided to sit there. Once he did, he took a sip of his soda and ran a hand through his golden blonde curls.
