"아무렇지 않은 표정, Baby, won’t you stop? (Looking at me like it’s nothing, Baby, won’t you stop?)" Trails of EXO's song "Going Crazy" filtered from a cozy, dark classroom in Evermore's state college. Laughter and footsteps trailed down the brightly lit hallway as class ended for some students, and started for others. The door to that cozy classroom opened and a blue-haired male stuck his head out. The male had no more classes for the day, but sometimes students came in for tutoring or just to have a nice conversation with him.
Seeing there were no students waiting for him, he turned back into his classroom and found that one of his star hanging lights had fallen. With a sigh, he walked up to it and slung it back into place. That thing was always falling down. Stepping off the stairs, he grabbed his bag and strolled out of the room, whistling. Digging his Suburban keys out of his tailored pants, he beeped the unlock button and climbed inside, fixing the rearview mirror. As soon as he started the car, his ringtone blasted from the Surburban's stereo system. Sighing, he accepted the call. "Josh! I forgot I left my purse in your car! Can you swing by the Celestial Castle and give it to me? I promise I'll make it up to you!" His sister Amber's musical voice came through, a bit high-pitched and worried. Josh looked down in the passenger seat's floorboards, and sure enough, a bright yellow Michael Kors purse sat there the straps looking a bit dejected as they hung sideways off the purse. "Yes. I'll do it, but you better be out there in an hour! I have to go to work at four!" He replied and smiled slightly. His sister was always forgetting things.
An hour later, Josh pulled the Surburban's front end into the driveway and looked around for Amber. She was sitting on the curb, waiting for him to pull in. With a laugh, he stopped the car in front of her and beckoned for her to get her purse. The ebony-haired female sprung up and yanked the door open. "Careful! I just got the Suburban painted! If you ding it, you'll be in trouble!" Josh yelped and leaned over to swat at the back of her head. Amber gave him a pained look and grabbed her purse, slinging it over her shoulder. "Well, get going then. It's three-thirty!" She replied and gently shut the door, waving at him before going into the castle. He shook his head and then backed out of the driveway and headed towards the bar.
He was quite lucky that he had changed before he had gotten out of the school, or he would be screwed. Pulling into a parking spot at the back, he shut the Surburban off and grabbed his phone, swiping up to see if he had any messages. He didn't, but it didn't hurt to check. Josh smiled at one of the bartenders who was outside, walking to her car. She smiled back and waved. He opened the door and walked towards the bar door, wondering who he would get today. The patrons were always a trip. Telling funny stories and flirting with the one-hundred and fifty-seven-year-old Celestial who was quite used to the flattery. Josh smiled and slid behind the bar, grabbing a glass and cleaning it.
