Erythreus had been hoarded up in his room for days now, but it wasn't anything out of the unusual for him. He needed to protect and serve his purpose. He much despised how people took their lives for granted here, seeing as most of them lived in luxury. Sure, everyone in Evermore had a story, but were they thankful to be breathing today? Probably not. Erythreus stood to his feet, and heard the voice of a ghost, the two brothers who beat him on a daily, and gave him no time to recover before pushing him forward to kill more innocent people. "YOUR LEGS STILL WORK!!" those words stuck, after all the years that had passed, those were the words that haunted him most.

Looking down to his legs, he chuckled, they did indeed still work, and with that he wandered over to his wardrobe, pulling out a black t-shirt, black leather pants, his black leather jacket and his grunge boots. Quickly showering, he shrugged into his clothes and headed out of his room, being stopped by one of the other who resided in the aliward manor. "Are you okay?" they asked. Those who resided here, never seen Ery out of his room, so it was odd indeed "I'm fine, im going out ... for a drink" he said in a very kryptic tone, and departed the manor. Hopping into his sleek black  Volvo and sped out into the night.

Erythreus hadn't visited Vampire/Dhampir territory in some time now, but he wanted to check on those he was assigned to protect; the dead .. both here and the underworld. It didn't take him long to get there, and when he did he made his presence known as he walked into a small club .. or it was small to him anyways, and he definitely didn't fit in .. this wasn't his scene but its where most of who he protected like to linger. The music was loud and the smoke was intoxicating, nearly choking him, but he brushed it off and headed for the bar.

"Whiskey.. neat" he said simply. As he waited for his drink, he fiddled with the jukebox "modern age bullshit" he ,muddered but as he flicked through the songs, he got the evil eye from just about everyone in there, as he changed it from dance music to something  he could get into Slash - Starlight

despite the evil looks from everyone around him, he smirked and began nodding his head, singing along to the song... it had been a very long time since Ery had some fun, and whether the people around him were amused or not, he was amused himself so he didn't care. He hopped onto the bar after downing his drink

"Oh Starlight, don't you cry we're gonna make it right before tomorrow
Oh Starlight, don't you cry we're gonna find a place where we belong (where we belong)
And so you know, you'll never shine alone"  he sang loudly, looking down to a blonde who sat alone, with more than a few empty glasses in front of her. The song ended, and people clapped, he had changed their frowning faces to smiles, not that he meant to but he took a bow and sat in the seat beside of her "IS this seat taken?" he questioned and tapped on the bartop for a refill.

"Are you waiting on someone, I don't want to intrude" he stated as he brought his second glass to his lips, not being able to help but wonder why she had all those empty glasses in front of her "its nice to see a woman drink her troubles away, but you must realize, your issues will be there when the alcohol is gone"

“I don’t think obligation is the right word” his words as usually made her mind swirl in new directions wander to places it didn’t normally go. The Doctor was genuinely happy for others but feeling happy for others wasn’t the same as being happy yourself however if you hadn’t felt pure happiness you didn’t know the difference. “I don’t think my world is ready, or will ever be for that sake , for your kind of fun” she saw him blush slightly and heard his heart race before uttering the words that would destroy the comfort she had felt just seconds ago.

And he had officially crossed the invisible line... again but that was to be expected from the impulse Aspect. Why did things always have to become complicated? In kindergarten things had been easy you’d just introduced yourself then you were best friends forever and if you got sad a caramel was all it took for things to go back to normal. Ery and Serena weren’t in kindergarten and friendship was a long road. To challenge a friendship this new by involving other feelings was reckless.

It had been a while since someone had asked her out, people had given up on that a long time ago. In high and med school many had asked for a date. Out of politeness and kindness she had accepted all offers but it had only lead to a date or two before they found someone else. Someone easier to to achieve. Serena came in contact contact with all kinds of relationships through her work but what they all had in common were it always got messy no matter how perfect for each other you were. Her parents demands on finding a husband with money and influence didn’t exactly excite her to find someone. Anyone she would find genuinely interesting would never meet her parents criteria and accepted into her snobby family. Finding a a spouse therefore were not on her list. The vampire had accepted dying alone a long time ago, or correction, living forever alone.

It would be impolite, unkind even to decline his date proposal she couldn’t humiliate him that way. Still she didn’t want him to believe she said yes out of obligation it would be even more humiliating for the Aliward. “Where are we going for this casual hangout Fairy man?” She askes him trying to avoid the tension that filled the air since he dropped the bomb. The male hade a habit of speaking in riddles or at least they were riddles to her. Maybe his intentions was obvious to others. It confused her what did he mean by feelings what feelings?
The blood disturbed or rather tempted Ery, she could sense it and she cursed herself for her thoughtlessness. She barley noticed the faint blood sent anymore being drained in blood all day did that to you. To Ery who wasn’t used to it the smell must be overwhelming.”I’m sorry how thoughtless of me” she said biting her lower lip as she quickly made her way to the towards the exit with Erythreus.

Erythreus rolled his sky-blue optics and the challenging blonde, seeing it fit to just walk away, and save what little pride he had left. But here he sat, no more than an idiot, still full of effort. And he'd have been lying to say their friendship at this point wasn't cherished, because it was, but Erythreus acted out irrationally, and impulsively. "For my kind of fun huh? must you put a title on it? it's not exactly mine, it can be both of our fun... you just don't know how to have such a thing, miss to serious for her own good" he teased his blonde Vampire friend. But, partially it was true, and he felt like Serena was scared to have fun. Or maybe she was afraid that if she showed her smile and let happiness be part of her life that it'd be taken away from her as fast as it was given, Ery knew the feeling all to well. Which only resulted in his constant bruting and him being stuck in his own head.

Erythreus again rolled his eyes, looking to her with an all knowing expression. "I know you wanted to say know Serena, and thats the good thing about me.. you could have, sure i'd be a tortured soul for a while, i'd have to bury whats left of my pride, but i'd also still see you as appealing no matter what your answer would have been" he expressed, making her aware that she didn't need to say yes to him because of the humble, kind person that she was. "Hard to believe isn't it? that no is an option" he then pointed out, nudging her side playfully, shaking his head at her. Did she really just call him Fairyman again? He thought to himself, laughter escaping his lips before he spoke again to her question. "I know you probably hate surprises as much as you do dates, but you're just gonna have to wait and see" he then said, smirking at her before gazing to the room opposite of them, where the blood bank was.

"Don't worry.. it's more of a past reminder than it is temptation, im not going to slaughter anyone.. not today at least" he winked, inhaling deeply as he saw her bite her lower lip. Damn her. As they then headed for the exit, he wondered if she was ready to go now, if she'd be on call through their 'casual hangout' etc. Ery himself wasn't so good at this date thing, so he wasn't exactly prepared, but he'd make the most of it anyways. After finding himself standing outside the hospital with her, Ery looked over, she seemed so tense, work probably did that to her, but he guessed he did that to her as well. "First things first, do you wanna go change?" he questioned, in an awkward manner. HE stopped his mind from going there though before the thoughts could even start swimming, drowning his brain with bad intentions.

"you can drive your car home and I can follow you in mine, so I can drive you to our casual hangout. Was it that unbareable to think of it as a date?" he questioned, chuckling at her, but in the time he had got to know Serena, he knew all to well, she didn't like to go on dates, or have men show affection for her. But then again, Erythreus was irrational and impulsive, and when he knew not to do something, thats exactly what he'd do. It it hadn't been for the respect he had for Serena, Erythreus would have done crossed many lines with her, a woman like her was the most appealing to him. She was a chase, and someone impossible to have, which would make any guy want her all the more. Glancing over to her one more time, he figured he'd need to at least drop a hint to where they'd go and what they'd be doing, or she would end up backing out of it, not wanting to head into then unknown with him. But rather than a hint, came a question "If you got to pick something to do, with a guy friend of yours, what would it be?" he questioned, truly wanting to take her some place she could enjoy.

Tonight wasn't about Erythreus or his mixed emotions for his friend, he wanted to show her a good time, so tonight was purely about Serena. He knew she'd hate knowing that, but she'd get over it. His attempt was to bring her out of the bubble she'd been living in so long, even if he lost all of his pride in doing so.

The aspects temperament shifted quickly but Serena had gotten used to his mood swings and were rather good at balancing them. Her way of never getting angry or even slightly annoyed didn’t give Ery much reason to continue his short outbursts that came from time to time whenever he was frustrated enough. “Having a life in your hands is pretty serious” she joked shaking hear head at his annoyance.

It was scary how well he could read her some times and at the same time missread her. Sure saying no was not a word she used very often but going on a date with him, as he insisted on calling it. Did you really have to categorize every time you spent time with someone? Couldn’t you just go out together without calling it a date or play session.

“Depending on what we are doing Jeans might not be suitable” She thought out loud at the same time as she fished for clues to where she’d spend the afternoon and what she had to expect. “You got a car, I thought you rode your bike” She said surprised. Even the fact that the Aliward has a drivers license was new to her. Biking around was good for both the health and environment but of course it wasn’t very nice when it was winter and cold. “I’ll just leave my car here I’ll probably go back here before I go home, besides I’m on call so, the downside to bring department head” in reality she didn’t complain she didn’t have anything else to do with her free time. Not until now anyways.

The question really took her by surprise No one had ever asked her that before. Asked her what she wanted to do. Her whole life people had been decided things for her. Even as a kid and as the kind obedient girl she was she hadn’t questioned it. Her only own choice had been going to med school which been disappointing to her parents. A girl with her appearances shouldn’t waste her time serving others away from the spotlight was their opinion. That she also chose to remain unattached with no interest in finding love drove them even further apart. “Wow hm I don’t know actually I’ve never been asked that before” she admitted the question taking her completely off guard once again revealing her non existent social life. What did normal people do when hanging out with friends? Walk in the park? Visit a dog shelter? She had no clue whatsoever.
