Cecilia doesn't stay at one place for long, not because of her nomadic patterns. Simply, because she was always needed elsewhere. And by elsewhere, she means across the globe. She had just returned from her one month trip to Berlin to settle the conflict between two individuals. Only two, and yet it caught their attention when they're halfway across the world in Colorado. What a stent in her plans. As much as she takes her job seriously, Celia would be lying if she said she preferred to travel every week rather than staying in one place for at least more than a month. Even she needed entertainment sometimes. Her idea of fun however, is quite abysmal. Not that others would know.

Though she did feel something weird tugging her along, the moment she set her foot in Evermore. Now that was a few weeks ago. Ever since she got back from her trip, she felt the same energy rousing around, successfully illuminating her confusion. A few weeks later, she finally knew what was the reason for all of that; the return of one particular fallen star that she definitely thought was dead after centuries of dead end, Atticus Thornbrook. Didn't mean everything was back to normal, of course, their relationship was pretty much still intense, like on the brink of falling from the strings that was supposed to be untouchable kind of intense. Coming back to Evermore two days ago had been a blessing in disguise. As soon as she got home, the Italian Valkyr dashed straight to her laptop, which she actually almost broke it in half because of the amount of strength she used to open it alone. To do what exactly? Book the flight tickets of course.

Celia knew she probably should've booked the flight tickets a week ago when she bought the entrance tickets to Disneyland but she was a bit preoccupied by the cartels fighting each other the next day. Usually it wasn't her concern but they were Valkyrs so, someone had to intervene. Unfortunately for them, that someone was her. After successfully booking two flight tickets for their 6-day trip to LA, the brunette rolled over her bed in enthusiasm. Today was finally the day. Right, one problem, her partner doesn't know she was planning for this trip. Another reckless thing done by the Valkyr. No matter, Celia made sure to take care of his schedule for the entire week so that when they got back from the trip, he would still have another two days off to rest. One sleek black colored 24 inch luggage was already placed neatly next to her desk when she woke up earlier. A little over 30 minutes later, she got out from the shower and dried her hair quickly before picking out her clothes from her closet. The Valkyr preferred light mannered clothing, nothing too heavy and pompous. She likes to stay comfortable. But it doesn't mean she's a no when it comes to dressing formally.

Preferences really doesn't matter for her. Finishing her look a few minutes later with a sheer burgundy button-down blouse tucked in high waist jeans and matched up with her mid-sleeved cardigan jacket, she pulled up her hair into a neat ponytail before grabbing her car keys and exited her apartment. Luggage, checked. Passport, checked. Shades, checked. Yeon, not checked. Rushing over to the parking lot in the basement level, she started her engine and drove off afterwards. Their flight is in 6 more hours so she should have enough time to wait for Yeon to pack things up in 2 hours or so and driving to their airport wouldn't take more than an hour. After parking her car in front of the apartment complex where Yeonseok Lee resides, she passed the security with ease after offering a smile. Of course, they'd recognize her straight away. It wasn't the first time she's been here albeit not visiting after a while, and she was sure Yeon included her name somewhere in that book of his.

Unfortunately for her, to go up there at the penthouse level, she will need a card since that's the only way the elevator would work. A part of her huffed in annoyance because last time, she didn't need to do this. But then again, she hasn't visited in quite a while so if they upgraded anything she wouldn't exactly know. Leaning forward to the Receptionist's desk, the silver tongued female took off her shades and offered her a grin. "I'm on his list though, aren't I? It's been a while since I met him, and this is my only free time to actually do that. It's supposed to be a surprise trip for him, or else I would've asked him to come down and fetch me. Surely you can give me this one teensy favor for one-time purpose?" Her hazel hues flickered to the Receptionist's green ones and she swore she saw her gulp nervously. A few moments later, she received the card from the blushing staff and pressed the elevator's button, Celia had a smirk present on her lips when she got it, clearly happy that her attempt worked, but of course, Cecilia being classic Cecilia didn't forget to send a wink at the flustered blonde before the door shuts.

The ride up his floor didn't take long as she fished out her phone and scrolled down the notifications. As soon as the elevator opened, she stepped out and plopped herself on the spot next to Yeon who was sitting on the couch. "Whatcha' doin?"

He sent her a glare when she said a maybe was him cracking but he just rolled his eyes and let it go, there was no point arguing with her when she got like this because arguing with Cecilia was a losing batter from the start. “Yeah, I don’t think I’d know what doing nothing was if it jumped out and bit me” the only time he ever really did nothing was when he was sleeping and still he purposely tried to do as little of that as possible too. The rest of the time either his body or his mind was busy doing one thing or another. “I know, but I don’t feel right when I’m awake but not doing something, I’ll end up pacing the hall and neither of us wants that” he was always moving, never stayed still longer than a few hours, it wasn’t in his nature. He sighed dramatically when she said not to fire the secretary because she couldn’t resist her charms “Well technically it is her job to resist you and do as she is asked Ce, you can’t keep sleeping with my staff” he glared at her for a moment.

He nodded his head when she said that technology kept things interesting, that was one way to put it he supposed “I thought they said that technology would make out lives easier, instead all it does is argue with me” he chuckled under his breath “And I will fight your damn phone for my friend spot back thank you, though I know I’ve been a crappy one lately” he nodded his head slightly because he had definitely allowed himself to become distracted and there were a lot of distractions, from the male he shared his bed with more than once to his Volakiri, to work and planning to move to another city. “Yeah I’m going to give that a pass, I had blood from Han when we made our bond and even that was a little too much for me” it did make him feel stronger for a few days though, that was the hard thing, it could become a cure-all to all his problems until it became the problem itself.

“Either way he’s stronger than I probably would have been if it was me” he spoke it softly, he definitely had a respect for Han, despite the childishness he often showed and how impulsive he could be, he had taken a whole lot of pain and managed to turn it into something good and not many people could say that. “Yeah that worries me a little, when I first met him he was….cynical and while I managed to pull him out of his shell a little it was his boyfriend who did the heavy work, something tells me without him the walls are gonna go right back up” and they probably wouldn’t come down again honestly, but what could he do? He knew Jae was good for Han and the only way to go was to wait for Han to realize there was more in his life with time. “Yeah commitment is some scary shit, you let someone into your life and boom, they have the ability to smash it” he avoided that at all costs because he didn’t have time to be picking up broken pieces of himself, nor had he met anyone worth taking that risk on.

He pulled a cheesy smile when she admitted she was calling him cute, chuckling to himself and shaking his head “Well I’m not the one who put this weird-ass wall up between us Ce, he did and I get the feeling that he had his reasons” the blond shrugged slightly “I’m not a...go for it kinda guy when someone is giving me the no signals” and maybe while he could talk to Dae about if he really needed to, part of him didn’t want to admit it out loud because that felt like handing over a lot of control of himself over to someone else, something he didn’t do easily. “You sell it like it’s literally the best thing I could ever ask for” he commented in a slightly grumbling tone because he still stood by the fact that he wouldn’t cross that line until Dae gave him a hint that he wanted him to, no matter how long that took. As they went through the security he gave her a pointed look in response to her question “Like four months ago” he responded bluntly, of course he had the usual house visits too but those were purely one night stands he’d forget as quickly as they came, literally. He stepped through the x-ray scanner and then collected his things on the other side, slipping his shoes back on as he waited for Ce to come through.

She spared him a look that says she would personally tie him to the chair if he was going to walk up and pace. "You better not... " she murmured dismissively, alas there was nothing she could do about it. It wasn't as if there was a cure for a workaholic. And if it existed, it won't be easy to get it. "Don't worry, you know I don't do more than one time. That would be the first and last time I tried to sleep with her." So far, she has yet to prove herself wrong on that. The Valkyr had never slept with anyone else more than her one time card. It wasn't something much as a rule, but a mere preference. The thought of Yeon arguing with Siri did paint a good picture in her head, a rather hilarious one she would continue to remind herself, "Well, now I have to see you argue with Siri just for the fun of it." Knowing the blond, she could already see a few distressed grunts. "I guess we can't expect for it to give their service to us without expecting anything back in return, I treat mine like it's my pet. You know, like pets, like owners. Stuff like that. Maybe Siri is exactly what your future pet would be like" Ce had that shocked look plastered all over her face and the dramatic theatrics were only making it more hilarious for her.

A small grin played on her lips when she heard Yeon mumbling how he would fight her phone to reclaim his rightful position, it's always nice to be reminded that she could count on him even when times were tough. "Siri can't give me the entertainment you can, so fret not. Besides, I would rather talk to someone who doesn't sound like a robotic biatch. It's creepy." She could understand where he was coming from, Celia herself had been quite busy as of late but she really wanted to spend some quality time together with him before his initial departure to another city. One that would take her hours to get by, not that she would mind but her working schedule may have a say in that.

"Don't put yourself down too hard, maybe you should keep a vial of your Volakiri blood for emergency purposes. You won't drink directly from him but the advantages you have with this bond, it could serve you well in the future if anything was to happen" She knew Yeon understood exactly what she meant, Celestials, they will never stop being hunted down. It seems to be the reality of things for the poor fallen stars. "One day, when he needs you and you're not there, I just think it'll be a handy thing. Not as creepy as others would make it out to be." It's a survival move too. The Italian could see how much Yeon cares for Hanseol, and she was glad he had formed a lasting friendship bond amidst their arrangement. Having a Volakiri can't feel like a duty solely or else you'll feel quite miserable because the bond will last forever. She couldn't say the same for her own Volakiri but they made their choice and it's a good one, so far.

"So you should try to bring him out of his shell, show him life is more than just surviving. From what you've told me, he's one of those people who needs to hold onto someone and his boyfriend was his saving grace, he gave him hope and everything else. But if a time comes when it'll break, he shouldn't go down with it." She swore she could feel the small aching pain thrumming against her chest, where she assumed her heart was trying so hard to convince her it wasn't all over. Her no longer beating heart, obviously. His story with this guy, however, had piqued her interest entirely and she wasn't about to leave it at that. The way the blond respected Daehyun's wishes even though she wasn't sure how it's going for them, shows the maturity on Yeon's side, he must really want him, she concluded.

By the time she stepped through the scanner, Ce had a surprised look marring her features, "Four… months? Oh wow... He must be unforgettable then. I mean, I don't think you swore no bed visits after that but this does feel like you can't forget him." Which was ironic, considering their rule about attachments. No wonder she wanted to know more. After wearing her watch back, she headed over to catch up with him with a curious look that she still wore, "So conclusion, if he hints he wants that side benefit, you're gonna give it to him?"

He laughed a little when she got almost immediately triggered by him mentioning his pacing “Yeah we know how much you love it when I end up pacing” he chuckled softly, it wasn’t a good habit because not only did it not help much with own frustrations but it also tended to set other people on edge too and before long everyone was stressed out. “You only feed on them and sleep with them more than once but let’s be real, you enjoy chasing people down first and flirting to hell and back” he gave her an expectant gaze which challenged her to disagree. She had done better at sticking to the whole one and done thing than he had though, he thought he was stronger-willed than that but a Niveis had managed to come along and essentially paint a red X in his rulebook. “Well I’m pretty sure Siri doesn’t actually have feelings Ce, she’s a robot” he commented with a laugh “And we both know I’d be terrible at taking care of a pet, I killed that cactus you got me remember, they’re almost impossible to kill and I did it” and people wondered why he didn’t call himself the type to go for commitment.

He grinned, giving a slightly snorting laugh when she said Siri was a creepy robotic biatch “I have to admit that is not something I expected to head come from your mouth” he shook his head as he laughed because it just seemed like a really funny description for quite literally an AI on a phone. “Has it been tough to keep up with all the new technology through the years?” he quizzed it with a curious brow, considering things were likely to only keep developing over the next few years, it made him wonder how easy it was for an immortal to feel in touch with the world, especially when you considered the number of adults in society that had this strange aversion to phones. Ce had seen so many decades come and go so he was sure she recognized the rapid way that things had moved lately.

He nodded slightly at her advice about Volakiri blood, honestly, it hadn’t even occurred to him that either of them might need to do that but it was smart now that he thought about it “Is it really as addictive as everyone makes it out to be?” he commented in a soft voice, hoping she could say otherwise because Yeon had this irrational fear of losing control which is why he was so incredibly strict with himself when it came to the way he feeds, only taking what he needed and very little more “I think I can handle it but I worry I’d be putting myself in a place I’m not prepared for” was he a control freak? Perhaps, but he was getting exposed to letting it go more and more lately. “Yeah you’re right” he commented and winced slightly “Though I kinda hate the idea that there will be a time he needs me and I’m not there” he admitted and pressed his lips together, he might tease the other male but he’d really come to care about him and he knew it would hurt like hell if he got hurt, especially if Yeon wasn’t there to help.

“I’m working on that, though he’s not the easiest one to crack, I’ve been convincing him to learn dancing with me and” she shrugged “Either he picked up some of my talent or he would have got himself scouted at some point” he chuckled slightly and grinned “The rest is going to take time but he knows I’m always there if he needs me and that’s a start” the two of them had actually gotten pretty close which was surprising considering how they were when they first met, Yeon even got along with Jae too. “Yeah I feel for him, but after so many years of being locked up I guess you take the happiness you can get and go from there” he offered a nod of his head “There’s only so much me and Jae can do, the rest he has to figure out on his own” he added, he believed Han would, he had already seen so much development in Han in a short time.

“I can’t” he responded with a grumble as they reached the other side of the scanners, took their things and headed through into the departure lounge “I brought my frequent flyer card with me if you wanna go up into the VIP waiting area” he pointed to the general direction of where it was, he was in this airport so often it felt like a second home at this point “The moment he hints that’s what he wasn’t I’ll give it to him so good he can’t forget it, but until then” he gave a nonchalant shrug “So if you can keep that one time rule I would, because the second one seems to open a whole world of frustration” he fiddled with the bottom of his shirt slightly “But you know I actually don’t regret it” he spoke it softly like it was some kind of really dirty confession.

"I will break your legs for the love of god if you pace for longer than 2 minutes again" she glared at him because it was clear one of things things that would tick Celia's mood off is people pacing back and forth for no reason whatsoever. Maybe a rather petty one but what isn't? She placed her hand over her chest to say she was offended that Yeon would think of her any less because truth be told, the male didn't leave a spot of doubt anywhere while describing her. Accuracy to the dot. "Chasing certain people that makes you wanna chase them can sometimes be very thrilling okay... " The Italian plays them both ways, she loves being chased and loves doing the chase too. "Shhhh, you're trying to ruin my imagination that a robot will be able to replace you as my best friend" she scowled playfully and tutted him, placing one finger in front of her lips as a motion for him to zip it.

Her ears perked up at the sudden mention of him killing the cactus she gave him the last time and that made the Valkyr widened her eyes, "You what?! Yeon, it's a cactus… cactus. How could you- how does one even kill a cactus?! It's one of the most independent plants ever if not the most independent-" she shook her head to express her disappointment. "What don't you expect to hear from my mouth, Yeon? Insulting a non-living thing that could actually retort back by saying I'm the bitchy one? Please. You're underestimating me." The sarcasm that lies in her words were very clear, it was always a second nature for the Italian female. When asked if it had been challenging to keep up over the centuries, Ce shrugged, "Sometimes. But it helps that I don't wander off civilization so when I come back, it's not as hard as Gideon trying to figure out things." She doesn't like going off the rails too long anyway, Celia loves attention too much to live a secluded life.

She pressed her lips together and sighed softly, "It depends on the person. I can't say much for myself because I remember almost endangering my Volakiri's life because I kept feeding, but they shouldn't be as addictive if you know how to control your cycles. Don't starve yourself for a start, it'll get you woozy and the first blood you get will jam that system in your body. Aka don't go for your Volakiri blood when you've been starving yourself." Ce pressed a reassuring hold on his shoulder, giving him an empathetic look to say she understood how dilemma, "You won't know until you've tried. Not everything about us is destructive altogether, Yeon. If you choose to carve your own path away from that, then you're as good as anyone else. You know you can ring me up whenever you feel off."

The thought of leaving your Volakiri to fend for themselves when you should be there to help them does leave a bitter aftertaste in her mouth because she did that once while trying to get better. "We can't be there all the time. But I can tell you there are ways to prevent the unwanted. Besides you can teleport, no?" She was glad to hear that they were bonding as friends to make this thing as casual as ever, "Some people took the pain and bitterness towards a better change, maybe he's that type. Only he knows what his story is about." It felt so ironic because she could see the change in Yeon over the years, how much he's progressed and she was the proudest person because she could see it. Celia beamed and nodded enthusiastically when he said about the VIP lounge, she is a rather fancy woman. A smirk graced her lips as soon as she plopped herself on the couch of the lounge, "Damn Yeon, wow, I guess I should be praying for him to say yes because then it seems like you'll be receiving a lot more of those" she teased. "Are you happy with the life you lead now?" It was a trick question but she wanted to know if he's enjoying it. Besides, they needed to kill time to wait for their boarding time anyway.

He sighed dramatically in response to her threat to break his legs if he started pacing again, it was a nervous or bored habit that he had and he often didn’t know how to stop when he started, he was the type who couldn’t stay still for very long, that’s why dancing became his main way of expression. “Well it wouldn’t be much fun being a master of seduction if literally everyone just immediately fell at your feet I suppose” he chuckled softly, he had always been the type who preferred for people to come to him, it wasn’t like he had a lack of options, when he danced in clubs for a few hours he always gained some attention and then it wasn’t hard to find someone to bring home. Though it occurred to him that he hadn’t actually been to a club in a really long time now.

He may have totally forgotten that he didn’t tell her that he killed the cactus she got him yet, he grimaced slightly, eyes shifting around a little because he felt bad for killing a cactus “I don’t know? I followed the instructions online but I came back to it one day and it was all brown and wilted and then it didn’t matter how much I cared for it, it wouldn’t get better” he sighed, god help him if he ever had a pet. He tilted his head curiously as she talked about her method of keeping up with the times and how she tended to stay close to people, they were both similar in the fact that they spent a lot of time around other people and actually enjoyed it. Whenever Yeon needed to just let go, getting lost in a crowd was his go-to method to do so, he found it pretty easy to be around others and talk the night away.

The way she talked about bloodlust made him sigh slightly under his breath, he hoped the time never came when he lost control of his own because he wasn’t sure he would be able to forgive himself for it, especially not if it ended up being with Han. “Well I’ve never had a problem there, I always make the whole thing routine, I wanted it to feel normal so it didn’t feel so strange or odd to me” he never tried to resist feeding but he was very selective about how he took blood. Drinking Han’s blood for the bond exchange was one of the first times he had actually taken blood from the vein and he had definitely felt the pull back to it since then but it was like this nagging ache he could make quieter by feeding normally. “‘I’m taking things slowly, you know me, the idea of being dependant on something that isn’t myself is probably the worst thing ever in my mind” she was right though, if things ever felt strange he could rely on her.

“Well I can teleport but it doesn’t work over big distances, like...you know NYC to Evermore distance” he sighed slightly, he could be on the first plane home of course but who knows what could happen in that space of time. Leaving the city had felt like an easy decision to make at the start of the year and then he had so many new people come into his life and remain there and now he felt conflicted by it all, worried what would happen if he left them all behind, wondering if they would forget him or find someone to replace him. “You know I thought I had everything figured out when I started the moving the process and now it feels like I have no idea what to expect” she was the first person he had told that he was going to leave. He lead the way towards the lounge and after they checked his membership card they headed inside, he grabbed mimosa on the way past because they were on vacation which meant all times of day were okay for drinking.

He chuckled when she said she should pray he says yes “Well I guess we will see” he summed it up before taking a long drink of the sharp drink and then set it down on the table next to him, when she asked if he was happy with his life he shrugged, “I think so” he responded and pressed his lips together “Of course I have good and bad days but I have the job of my dreams, even if it does consume every moment of my day, I have friends who really mean things to me, I get to drink at like 10 in the morning” he chuckled and finished off the glass, setting it down on the table again “What more could I need?” he grinned slightly “What about you? You’re finally doing the settling in one city thing” he wondered how that change impacted her

Knowing Celia, she may actually break his legs just to prove her point, even if she didn't like thinking that she would. Like it or not, no matter how insufferable Yeon can be in any other worlds, the Italian Valkyr would always be there still. It's unnerving to see how 'loyal' the elder female can be towards the blond. Perhaps it's a bond to be envied. "True… there wouldn't be as much fun in the play. And chasing something that you know would be yours for an hour? Doesn't sound as promising either" The woman loves her chase, a lot. "Is this a suggestion or a recommendation for me to hold and up my game so I can be better at this?" Like Yeon, Celia enjoys the company of males and females alike in her free time. There was simply nothing wrong with enjoying the indulgences the world has to offer when it does.

She wasn't one to turn away something promising and relevant. "I still don't know how someone who could kill a cactus actually… you know, existed. It's a cactus." She had facepalmed so bad the Valkyr couldn't even change her facial expression of shock because it was nearly impossible to find someone as irresponsible as that. "If I were to give you a baby, I wonder what will happen to them then" Those were definitely one of those weird questions that pops up every once in a while in the head of hers. "I mean, would you eat it on the first day?" she teased playfully, whilst she wasn't the best babysitter or the likes, Celia was sure Yeon couldn't be that bad. Bloodlust was a heavy topic, especially for a Valkyr, so Ce understood where his fear was placed at.

She did want to reassure Yeon that those would never happen so long as he keeps himself… vigilant. "Do you take his blood regularly then? I mean not to make your Volakiri sound like a moving blood bag no, but have you ever taken any of his blood afterwards? You know, after your Volakiri bond was enacted?" One drop was all that it takes for the Valkyr to emerge stronger than ever. They should trust one another. The stronger their connection is, the easier it is to maneuver things between them. If only Celia could do the same with Atticus, that was yet another problem with the Italian. "Being dependent is very scary yes, take it slow. But don't shut it out entirely, sometimes it does you good to have people you can depend on" To always have someone who would have your back, Ce wondered if Yeon had someone else that wasn't her.

She'd be happy if he does, knowing that there was someone else to keep an eye out on the unruly blond. Protectiveness was something that was naturally ingrained in Cecilia and Yeon is definitely one of those she would gladly break an arm or leg for. "Teleportation takes time to get used to. Believe me, I'm still not that used to it. It's… bleh" It leaves a foreign taste in her, who preferred traveling in the shadows instead of option for teleportation. It was rather new for them but it was, indeed, and advantage. "Who knows, maybe if you keep practicing you may even find yourself hopping onto the North Pole." Not impossible, for sure. When she found out that Yeon had been given a chance to expand even bigger in NYC, she was glad, of course she would miss him here but it wasn't as if she couldn't come visit. NYC is just a call away.

"You don't feel full?" she asked curiously, usually one would feel content once they have achieved something they've pined for but Yeon seemed conflicted, if anything. "It's normal to feel this way. Don't worry, it's nothing major." Or at least, she tries to tell him that it wasn't. When her eyes caught Yeon grabbing a mimosa for himself, a small grin played around the curve of her lips as her fingers slithered around a glass of a cocktail. She'd rather not get that drunk during flight. Ce would end up throwing away everything inside if so. "I've always been a nomad, moving here and there. The longest I've been in one place was long ago, I stayed for like… What, almost 5 years? Yeah. I try to stay at places that I think will grant me more happiness than others. It's a nice thing to look forward to. But I think it's time I settle nearby, maybe Evermore's caught my eye. Who knows. You? Surely that guy who caught your eye must've resided here. I mean not to say that you should drop everything and stay but I am curious what he means to you."

He chuckled under his breath, he knew a little about chasing people and the thrill of it but he’d never really had a problem with people coming to him, people stared at him in the clubs and it was only a matter of time before someone worked up the courage to come talk to him. Lately though, he’d mostly been going home alone after some harmless flirting, his mind on someone else who wasn’t at the club. When she asked if it was a challenge or suggestion he shrugged slightly “Hey I don’t think you need me to tell you what you do and don’t like” she was definitely even wilder than him when it came to her tastes which was saying something.

“Well...I don’t know, maybe the air conditioning at the office messed with it or something” all he knew was that after a while it had gone all broken and disheveled even though he had watered as recommended. Though her question about giving him a baby did catch him off guard for a moment before giving her a pointed look “Could you really see me being good around kids? Probably best avoided” not that he didn’t like kids but he honestly just had no idea how to act or be around them. Though he nudged against her side when she asked if he would eat it “Okay I’m not that bad, I’d be more likely to accidentally swear in front of it or something” Yeon just didn’t have a lot of exposure to kids he supposed.

Yeon glanced up at Ce when she asked him if he took Han’s blood regularly and he shook his head slightly “No, only the first time and even then it was...hard for me” it was kinda the same situation as someone taking drugs, you didn’t need them until you experienced them for the first time and so getting a taste of blood which filled him with energy and made him feel for a split second that he could understand why people might get themselves lost in it. “You can’t miss what you don’t have right?” he cleared his throat a little, he was sure if it came down to either f their safety they could make an exception. He gave a thoughtful nod when she said not to shut out the idea of dependence entirely “That’s easier said than done” he commented under his breath, his natural reaction was always to want to run and so letting people get closer to him had been a challenging experience.

The way she talked about teleportation did make him laugh a little because he had always had challenges with it, honestly, he really didn’t like the sensation it gave him which pretty much put him off trying too much “Yeah...I’m not actually sure I care much for learning to use it” he responded honestly with a slight shrug of his shoulders “I actually prefer planes, much more comfortable and don’t require years and years of practice to be able to travel long distances” though he had definitely used teleportation in a snap before when he wanted to get away from somewhere and it wouldn’t be easy to excuse himself. Mostly at parties or company events he was tired of. It did give him an idea of how he could sneak up on Dae at some point though which he was sure would be followed with a priceless reaction.

Yeon shrugged a little when she asked him if he didn’t feel for “I’d kinda be worried if I did?” he raised his brows before explaining “If I felt full then I’d feel like I've achieved everything I wanted to and there was nothing else to do and that doesn’t sound like what I’d want to aim for” he wondered if that made any sense at all but there was always going to be a next and next next thing in his mind and he didn’t see that stopping, it just might change direction and feel different from what he expected before. He took a long sip of his drink as he watched her for a while as she talked about her own life and what she thought about Evermore “I mean it must mean something to you right? Because otherwise, you’d be back off looking for the next city and the next” he definitely agreed there was something about Evermore but he wasn’t sure what it was just yet. When she asked if he was thinking of staying because of Dae he let out a heavy sigh “I’d be lying if I said the thought hadn’t crossed my mind” he admitted it with a half-smile “But my career has always been my first you know, no matter how much wants to keep me here in Evermore, I still have this drive to make a difference and right now I feel like that’s in New York” it was conflicting to have made friends so close to his moving.

It was a big change for Cecilia, at first. She's never been one who would mindlessly go and party all night just because she could, and that wasn't saying that there was something wrong with doing that, it's just not her scene. She remembered she slept around a lot more often when she realized it gives her satisfaction and pleasure, to live in a long life just to end up leading a rather boring story doesn't sound good so she tried to have fun when she could. "At least you won't be complaining if I throw a party in honor of you and you end up getting laid twice every hour." That never seemed to be his problem, as far as Celia knew, Yeon was both a ladies and gents man, it was hard to refuse the charm he carried. She was always clapping secretly because he grew up to be a very confident person who knows what he likes.

"Air conditioning- of all the excuses you could come up with, you use… air conditioning, dear lord, Yeon" she shook her head and clicked her tongue as an effort to chastise him, "People who say they're not good with kids usually ends up the opposite, be careful what you spout, Yeon" she sent him a wink and chuckled softly, Ce couldn't see herself being good around kids either. "You just labeled a kid, a human being, as it. Guess that answers everything for us." The topic of blood is usually a sore one for a Valkyr, even Celia with all the years and experience under her belt still struggles with it so she couldn't say it's never a problem for him either, "You have to get yourself used to it eventually" she placed a reassuring hold on his shoulder because it's a lifetime package deal for them to have a Volakiri bond.

He did have a point, you can't miss what you don't have. Because she often consumed a bit of Atticus' blood back then, Ce could always sense if her Volakiri is in distress or the likes a lot better. It assures her to know that she'll always be there. Until she wasn't. "It's because it's easier, that we need to make an effort for it." For someone who also travels often for work, most of the time personally, she could relate to planes, "So I'm not the only one who feels dizzy when you teleport." She's never liked the feeling from the first time she tried it out. She's fine with using other abilities aside from that. "Well… at least you know what you're doing. You can take care of yourself, I know that well enough." Just because Cecilia dotes on Yeon, doesn't mean she's about to baby him forever. She was confident in his skills, he could survive the world when others wouldn't.

"I don't like staying around as much as I don't like moving around. That's true. But I can't just… go around and handle rogues and the goddamn hierarchy of our kind forever as a job, you know? I've always been a healer… and Gideon wanted to stay here and open opportunities for others to join us, I can't leave him either. It wouldn't feel right. And besides, you're here." She didn't feel as connected to anywhere else. Celia tried to catch what he pointed out, and it just so happened that it lingered around the moment when he said it has crossed his mind before to stay because of that guy, it made her smile softly, "I'm just glad you have someone, Yeon." The announcement about boarding finally interrupted her train of thoughts as the Italian finished her drink and nudged the other male, beckoning for him to get up, "Well, I can't wait to see you at Broadway. You'll be captivating everyone and I'm gonna be there and count how many."

He lifted one leg to cross over the other and leaned back in the seat while he listened to her talking about some party she would throw for him which made him shake his head and laugh softly “Twice in an hour? Damn Ce” he chuckled softly, of course, he had experienced that before, he had no qualms with group sex either but it just seemed like a slightly strange thing to be talking about with his sister-like figure “If he wanted me to, I think I’d spend the whole day just…” he didn’t finish the rest because he was sure she knew what he meant “I think I have a problem” he complained in a slightly whiny voice because it wasn’t like him to feel so fixed on one person like this, it felt foreign to him.

“Hey it dries out the air and lighting isn’t exactly great in the office” truthfully he had no idea why the cactus had upped and died on him but he followed all of the instructions he could find on it. He shot her a look when she accused him of saying he wasn’t good with kids when he probably was, his expression speaking all the words he needed to say, he was sure “See, I’d be a horrible parent so it’s best for everyone that I stay well away from that situation” he didn’t exactly have the perfect example when it came to upbringing, his father had always been strict and expectant and didn’t really invest in Yeon’s dreams no matter how many times he had asked him to. “I’m sure I will” he commented as he twiddled his thumbs in his lap “But I don’t see the need to rush into doing so, I mean I survived this long without his blood after all” he didn’t see it as something necessary, probably because like he said, you couldn’t miss what you never had.

He nodded slightly, it was easier to shut people out than it was to let them in, he’d learned that lesson time and time again and still to this day he tended to choose the easier option, he only let people sleep with him once because he didn’t want to handle the idea they might get attached and not want to leave. But lately, he had been testing the waters when it came to letting more, very selective people closer to him and he had to admit, he did feel happier “I hope they know how incredibly special that makes them” Dae and Han especially had managed to slip under his guard so easily. He shrugged slightly when she surmised that both of them felt dizzy when teleporting “I suppose throwing your body through the shadows to another plain probably does that” he was sure he could get used to it with time but like everything, Yeon was often short on free time.

“I had a good teacher” he responded to her compliment when said noted how he knew how to take care of himself, a lot of the person he was today was thanks to her and he liked to remind her of that from time to time, he wanted to acknowledge how much she had done for him in small ways, though he wasn’t the type to give out loads of praise. “You can admit that you like staying you know, I’m not going to judge you” she had always painted this picture of herself as a wandering, a traveler but he could tell this time she had gotten attached to the city. He gave a soft smile when she said she was happy he had someone “Now if only it wasn’t so weirdly complicated” he commented with a wry smile. Hearing the tannoy he got to his feet, grabbing his bags before they headed in the direction of their gate “I’m excited to finally make it happy, for so long it’s felt like a pipe dream you know” he nodded a few times as he followed her through, showing his passport to the girl at the gate before they headed towards the first-class boarding area.

Seeing him act this way was truly new to her, in all her years of knowing Yeon, Ce, for one, has never witnessed such a showcase, especially when he was dragging out a few words in a slight whine, if anything, she was actually quite amused by how things were going for him. “Please, you know I love a good party” she narrowed her hazel hues and grinned sheepishly, Cecilia does have a thing for successful parties and she’s never witnessed one that’s gone to the dumpsters, at least not those she’s attended before. “And what’s a good party if you don’t end up getting it before the night ends, right?” Due to her time constraint, Ce wasn’t able to live up to those jolly caretakers as much as she once did, her work pays a lot and she wasn’t one to bail on a patient, she did swear to care for them, after all. “Just? Gosh, Yeon, you really have it bad” she teased, a part of her wants to drag whoever this guy is just to see what’s going on between the two of them.

“You have a you problem, Yeon, that’s nothing unusual. Unfortunately, a you problem does mean I can’t assist nor help you on it. But, if you want me to bait him into accepting a night, or nights at one of the luxurious hotels you love so much, so you can vent and discuss, that, I can help with” She couldn’t interfere but it doesn’t mean she couldn’t stay by the sidelines being the supportive sister. If he wants it, he gets it. “Did you throw the poor thing away? Or did you… still have it with you?” Admittedly, since it is a cactus, she is curious about it. “Alright, if you say so. I’m just glad things are well between the two of you, maintaining that kind of solidarity is crucial to your bond” It’s not as if she could attest much to it because all Celia could think about was how to whack Atticus the next time she could see him. But Yeon didn’t need to know that. The dark-haired Valkyr grinned and patted his shoulder reassuringly, “I’m sure they know they’re special.” She was no exception to it. This 8-year-old relationship she has with him was something else.

“It could be improved with more training, I guess… but that’s too much work for people who don’t really have the luxury of spare time, huh?” her gaze fell on the male, it was clear that Yeon is quite the busy person, he’s always occupied with schedules, “Makes me wonder how your secretary is doing. Literally.” His compliment didn’t escape her attention, it only made the Italian grin even wider, “I think she’s proud” And she is. Was she fond of Evermore? Perhaps. She’s been there longer than anywhere else. “I do want to stay, I just never got the chance to delve much into the possibility because of the circumstances. This time, though… maybe I’ll get to stay. Finally. But then you’re moving” her lips were pressed into a pout, Ce let out a heavy sigh and threw her head back in a dramatic manner, “I’m so gonna miss you” It wasn’t as if she couldn’t fly out to see him but Cecilia Laterza is dramatic.

“Complication is in the name, Yeon, you know it’s always worth it that way” Before long, they had already entered the boarding area, time seemed to pass while they were having their conversation, it was almost time for them to go already. “Still so young and yet you get the chance to blow everyone’s mind, I’m jealous…” She gave her boarding pass at the staff and went over their area upon boarding, following the numbers printed on the same pass, “I’m curious though, what are your plans, after that? Do you have anything else you wanted to do?”

“Doesn’t everyone?” he mused in response to her words about enjoying a party, they were definitely his scene, he enjoyed being around people who were enjoying themselves, he liked the loud music and smoke and hooking up with random people, it was the life he had become accustomed to, one which took advantage of the simple pleasures on offer. “Well true, mostly people expect at least a few rounds” he snickered slightly, drunk hookups were certainly enjoyable because even the most innocent people got a little wilder when their walls were down.

He did sigh when she teased him for how bad he’d gotten himself hooked on one guy though, he knew she was right him, it wasn’t like him at all to crave one single person for company in his bed, normally anyone could fill the role he needed them to play but now every time he was with someone else his mind couldn’t help but care “I know, I know” fuck he couldn’t believe someone had this much hold on him. He gave her a pointed look when she suggestively used the word vent and discuss to describe how he would handle this “Somehow I don’t find any pleasure in you baiting him” he commented and chuckled “Part of me wants him to come crawling” he commented and bit softly on his lip. Yes, that would please him very much.

When she asked for the location of his deceased cactus he grinned sheepishly “I got rid of it, it was making me sad sitting all wilted on my desk” he sighed softly, he wished he was a better caretaker but it just wasn’t something he seemed to have much luck with. He nodded slightly as she talked about Han “It’s a work in progress, you know how well I do with attachments and the likes” aka not well at all but lately he was trying to be more open to the idea and seeing what happened. “Yeah can’t say shadow portaling makes the top of my to-do list” he admitted with a laugh, he was always so busy and didn’t have the time to really be adding new things, not with more people wanting more of his time.

“I mean I pay her pretty well for it, she bought herself a sports car the other day and she’s been giggling for like a week, no doubt because of you” he rolled his eyes, god the affect that Ce seemed to have on people. “Well then I’m glad you think this might be your place, I know for the longest time you’ve been wondering where your purpose is” he questioned the same thing before but he had found his in the work he was doing, work he believed in wholly. He smiled when she said she would miss him “We’ll make plans, you know I’m never actually far away” they were whatever you need kind of friends and that wasn’t going to change just because he was a few hours plane journey away.

After a while they were already getting onto the plane, he tucked away his bag into the storage compartment and he got into his seat, they had plenty of space so he reclined his seat and made himself comfortable as they continued their conversation “Well it hasn’t been something just handed to me, proving yourself in the entertainment industry is definitely a challenge” he chuckled softly “Not yet, but I’ll figure it out, every time you reach the thing there’s a next thing to look forward to” and the cycle went on.

The two of them were social butterflies, neither shied away from the spotlight and quite enjoyed them if anything. There was no doubt that both of them would be able to mix together without any complications. Perhaps, that's why she always found it easy to mingle around with him. But then again, Ce has always preferred Yeon's company to most. A bit of a soft spot there won't bring anyone harm, anyway. Not to her. "I like the way you think" she chuckled and tapped her index finger against her temple, indicating that she was proud to see such a response coming from him. She was probably right to think that he had experienced those days too. She could see just how much this was taking a toll on the male, indeed, it was dangerous to get so attached to anyone that was meant to be nothing more than just a quick swipe on a watch or one-night-stands. Celia had a harder time pushing away those people but that was simply because the Italian preferred to keep herself company of a few that piqued her interest for longer than one night.

Though she was also taking up the advice of not letting her feeding sessions solely focused on an individual for a period of time too. Now that is dangerous for her, given her history. "Scandalous, Yeon" she gaped and covered one hand over her mouth when he admitted he wanted to see that guy come crawling to him, "He got you hard, dude. And I'm impressed. Well, knowing you and your charms, I'm sure it won't take him long to come crawling" she teased, Yeon did have a way to charm a lot of people. Cecilia sometimes felt like a proud sister because of it. He has made her proud in so many ways. "Next time, remind me to give you a few lessons on how to take care of your beloved plants" she rolled her eyes playfully and chuckled, a wilted cactus, it felt surreal, that's for sure. Though Yeon wasn't good with attachments, from the looks of things, he didn't have a hard time bonding with his Volakiri, which made her smile, that's always good to hear as always.

She couldn't help but to smirk when he pointed out that his secretary's been giggling because of her, an additional compliment to add to her bag. Settling in a city where drama seems to unveil itself, what could possibly go wrong with that? A part of her was worried but the thrill was there to find out what would happen, it was exhilarating. "While I hate that I have to take a plane to go visit you… I guess for Yeonseok Lee, I shouldn't be too whiny about it." She may not show it most of the time, for someone who wasn't as in tune with her feelings, Ce knew Yeon understood she would be at his beck and call. With her legs crossed as she leaned back against her seat, she rested her gaze on the blond, she could probably get some rest until they arrive to their destination. "Working is so tiring... " she murmured and let out a heaved sigh, even for a supernatural with a commendable amount of stamina, it will tire them out at some point. "I'm gonna take a nap for a bit… I know you sleep in planes too, I'll wake you up once we arrive, okay?"
