She felt cold. She was suffering. She was miserable. She could feel every single emotion seeping into her slender body. Malva felt downright weak and was so close to the small breaking point right there on the spot. The Aspect of Magic has been pacing back and forth in her spacious dark room since morning and now dusk previously settled in hours ago. For the past few weeks before that, the Aspect of Magic has been trying her very best in regaining control over her own element-- magic itself in general. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to. Hence, all the books making themselves known once again after being stored away for centuries, especially those that inhabited the knowledge of dark arts. From blood magic to connective magic, Malva has been trying to get a decent grasp on it so she was able to understand it better. Her trips to the astral planes didn't bore enough fruition to make sense to the Aspect of Magic. She was desperately deprived.

However, for the past few weeks, she's been getting better. Ever since she found out that her source to magic wasn't completely shut off, she had been trying to scamper for crumbs to start her journey and honestly, for the Ailward Aspect, there was nothing she wouldn't do to get her magic back. As usual, she kept herself cooped up in her room but instead of lamenting over her failure, Malva was recording every possible way for her to try to get a hold of her energy back. It wasn't useless, at least. But then a new problem presented itself, the sudden arrival of the Aurazin, a species she wasn't even aware had existed or was reluctant to believe the gods would create another tasked with the protection of the world. Well, in this case, they were tasked with the protection of their world; the veil. Another dimension, another world. Of course, that wasn't news to Malva, her brother, Venetus, was named Aspect of Realms, tasked with the protection of realms in this universe.

It existed and she knew that but seeing is believing. It's another thing entirely for the Aspect of Magic to know that there were others. When they came to seek their help, of course, they provided them with everything necessary. Mal even enchanted a few things for them so they could live easier amongst the living world. While the guards were searching their own clues to why the veil's doors were closed, Mal was also trying to see if she could find anything on them. As it is, it's a breach to this world and there was only so long until another imbalance occurs and the world cracks into two. The Aspect of Magic smiled softly at the porcelain, brushing the edges lightly before placing it back on the table and scooping her white cat into her arms, "Come on Seraphire, let's go down" she cooed and went downstairs, making her way to the greenhouse located nearby. Their residency was spacious and vast, so it wasn't surprising to find a greenhouse there too. It was where Malva growed her plants to help her with herbal remedies since once upon a time ago, she had been a natural prodigy when it comes to traditional magic; a magic form that felt so ancient.

It was basically a joint custody battle between her and her youngest brother, Deus. Taking a quick look at the bench, she placed the cat on the wooden piece who only went further to brush herself against the Aspect's legs while she was examining the white roses.

Ommin had been puttering in her small rundown greenhouse since early twilight yesterday on the Aurazin plains. Only breaking to eat a handful of tomatoes when her stomach ungrudgingly reminded her of her new found appetite. Her frustration running high, sweat dripped off her forehead, her lips were chapped and red with rawness from her gnawing at the edges with nervous intent.  She had been having a problem with slugs and some strange creature she could not see. Her hands brushing the leaves with a cloth, water and soap trying to keep their leaves from turning yellow and stems from rotting.  With a huff of hot air she threw down the small cloth and stood up. “Stupid fucking pendejo!” She muttered with disgust. Her eyes scanned over the fertile garden out of the door frame before her. Most were striving and blessing them with a heavy harvest. These plants tho - Her cucumber plants and some corn plants had been infected with something. She was fast enough to dig these ones up and isolate them in the top open garden shed. “What to do…” She tapped her foot over and over. Her emotions flooded over her as she chewed her lips more. Blood  rushed into her mouth as a small sting originated.

She decided to brush her hands clean for the meantime. She felt light headed and needed a distraction, no she needed help. She didn’t want to bother Lucien as he was focused with much more important things. Her other few friends were busy with their daily lives. There was one person she could asK. Hesitation flooded through her body as she started to clean herself up a bit. Malva Ailward, one of the aspects. She had heard whispers of them in the veil and also throughout evermore since her arrival. She also knew Malva was the one to help them with this fertile plot of land which she was ever grateful for. She rolled her shoulders back and shook her head. What was she nervous about? She went inside and cleaned herself up a bit more before heading out to the manor.

As she walked up through the path ways to the manor she noticed the brunette lady walk out of the front door toward the green house in the distance, cat in hand. She didn't know if this was Malva or not but  decided to follow to ask where she could be found. She followed the lady toward the house. "Excuse me miss" She spoke with a raised tone as she grew closer. "I'm looking for Malva Ailward...I need to ask her a few questions. I'm Ommin from the Aurazin faction." Ommin held out her head with a soft smile to the woman.

Not many would dare to approach her, even Malva knew that. She wasn’t sure if they were either too intimidated by her or they just couldn’t be bothered to keep her in their space of time. It wasn’t as if the Aspect of Magic would be more likely to entertain whatever they have in mind anyway. Mal was known for her stoic and cold demeanor, she was the witchest of the witch and never quite outgrew that phase ever, not even after a thousand years of living. One wrong misstep was all that it takes for her to glare at a person, but while she is indifferent to a lot of things, Malva was an emotional soul. She doesn’t know how to balance her emotions hence why she either felt too much or too little. But she wasn’t a sociopath, no.

She got better at interacting with people but most people wouldn’t bother her unless they truly needed to. Desperately. Yeah, that’s the word to be used. The brunette was halfway examining and sniffing the white rose in her left hand when she noticed another presence entering the greenhouse, which made her turn around to face the stranger, and it was indeed, a stranger. Mal couldn’t recognize her from anywhere, which meant she was probably not acquainted well enough with the Ailward Aspect to be given a significant enough role to be remembered. To the eyes of many, she probably looked like a young adult that was no more than 23 years old, especially with her choice of clothing and serene look that was specifically acquitted in the presence of tranquility such as this.

It wasn’t until the other woman spoke her name and introduced herself that Mal found herself leaning against the table and eyed her, “The Aurazin faction?” A while ago, she had blessed the plot of land to be as fertile as needed for them to move forward with their new living terms. But she wasn’t acquainted all that well with them, not individually, at least. “You’re far from home” she pointed out, the Aurazin lived on the other side. “Can I ask why you’re looking for her?” Usually she would’ve just outed herself but she was curious, why was an Aurazin searching for her? Did something happen? Did her magic not suffice enough? It had grown better since the last time.

Ommin stood before this woman, taking her hand back when the woman didn’t shake hers. Her toes wiggling in her shoes as she made eye contact. This woman's aura was throwing a wrench into Ommin’s own aura. The colors mainly based around this woman before her were black, grey and yellow. Small flashes of other colors were present but Ommin knew this woman was serious. Very serious. Her eyes lifted back up to meet the woman’s as she bowed her head once more. “Sorry again to disturb you. I simply wish to ask her some questions about gardening. See i’m not as skilled as I once was.” She opened her hands, palm up and closed them a few times. “Back when I used to garden it was very much straight forward but we always had bad harvests. Nowadays technology has grown and I’m at a loss. Pests have overrun our cucumbers and corn plants… I was just wanting to seek her help!” Her words started to shake as she spoke.

She lifted her head and stood with a strong back compared to how small she had been looking at the beginning. “Also Lucien asked me to mention to her my explanation from the veil. Maybe that could help with finding the reason we were pushed from the veil.” Ommin’s own aura started to shift a light blue-indigo. A wave of calm washed over  Ommin as she smiled again. Her body relaxing from the tension she felt from the other woman. She looked past her at the garden that was flourishing. Ommins eyes widened. One day she wished to be able to host a garden like this without magic.

“Is this your garden? It is beautiful! You seem to have some talented hands!” Her smile was wide and friendly.

Any other day, she would’ve noticed how rude it was of her not to shake the other female’s hand even after she had offered her hand out. But not today, today Mal was generally off putting for a lot of reasons that shall remain undisclosed. As usual. She wasn’t a mind reader nor was she like her younger sister, Argent, who could read someone’s aura easily with a single glance over them, but Mal was also someone who has practiced magic for a very long time. Reading a person from their movements along was practically in her. Malva is always a serious woman, there were instances where she’d smile and laugh happily around the people she’s close to and trusted, but take all those company away from the Aspect of Magic, she’s exactly the person she is now.

“Questions about gardening? Huh… that’s surprising. I wasn’t aware anyone even looked up to her to ask advice on gardening… of all things” she murmured dismissively, it would’ve sounded absurd if Mal didn’t know she actually still managed to take care of the greenhouse they were standing in right now. “I can tell you it’s not the skills but mostly because of the magic itself though, I think we called it a magical fertilizer to bless the soil, maybe that’s why pests are not allowed in here” which was true, Mal was hardly a skilled gardener, her brother, Virindeus, on the other hand, however. Is another story. The air around the female told Mal that she was indeed a few centuries old, especially with how she carried herself and how she spoke.

When Mal detected the tremor in her tone, the Ailward Aspect was quick to place the rose in her hand down on the table, “Hey, don't worry about it. It’s not as if I’m about to eat you up, gosh” she shook her head in mirth before curling her lips slightly, she could help her out. Besides, it’s important to maintain a good relationship with the Aurazin anyway. She pointed to the bench next to the table, beckoning for her to take a seat while she put the roses away, that’s when she heard about the veil being mentioned, which made her turn around to face Ommin. “It’s mine and my younger brother’s. We have joint custody over it, he has half of the plot and mine the other half” she answered, there was no point in beating around the bushes anyway, since she was here to ask Malva herself.

"I’m Malva” she added casually and took a seat next to her, body slightly edged to the side with her legs crossed as her white cat climbed up to her lap, “What do you know about what happened to the veil? Last I checked when we sent our scouts to the site where the doors are last located, there was plenty of dark magic debris around. The Celestials and Aurazin are two of the most lightest species there… so I’m guessing it’s not from your side. Which means there’s another party at play in that.”
