Feeling weak was something that Willow always hated. It felt that lately it was all she was feeling. Like many other celestials she was still haunted by her past. All the lost years. Something that would never go away. It took her a long while after to get better to go about day to day and not be panicked by ordinary things. It didn’t help matters with her brother Elias taking off when she needed him most. Leaving her to find her own way and place in the modern world. Almost starting afresh in a way. Something that many other celestials like herself had to do. Some of them have taken longer than others to adapt. Willow tried to keep up to speed and to date with how things are now. Whether it be with fashion or technology. Any way to fit in so she no longer looked like an outsider looking in. Even finding herself taking a job trying to get some normality in her life thinking it would help her to heal. Deep down she was still broken, haunted by her past. Needing to find some way to push past and let her anger out. Willow always hated feeling weak that she needed someone to look after her whilst she didn’t want it to be like that. Wanting to be able to protect herself to be ready if anyone was to go against her. Sure she was spending hours in the mirror room at the celestial castle that was made and designed to learn to use their celestial energy. Willow was looking for another way wanting to not only just rely on her celestial power to help her. Wanting to protect herself the old fashioned way through hand held combat. Knowing she would be no state of mind at the moment to look for weapons as a form of protection.

It has always been something she’d never favoured but a skill that she knew but never used. Having her own reasons even if now would be the time she’d be needing it most. For the last few weeks, she has been trying to do her own research. Looking for someone who would be suitable to train her for what she was looking for. Finding out the city was full of different personal trainers but not many for what she was wanting. Figuring it out that it may be best if she looked for a trainer who was of the supernatural kind rather than human. Just in case her celestial energy went out of hand and something was to happen. Willow has always been the more cautious one out of her and Elias, thinking through everything beforehand. With weeks spent looking Willow came across a name that she’d seen and floating about from others of a trainer here in the city who was a valkyr. Thinking that he was her best bet she had for finding someone who filled all the boxes she was looking for.  Today was one of her days off away from the book shop. The day when she gathered the courage to go and seek Eirik Tostain out.

Leaving the comfort of the castle to go to unknown grounds looking for help from the opposite species. Willow took a chance of instead of going to Eirik’s weapons shop and go to the training grounds within the Valkyr comfinds. While looking for the training side rather the weaponry side. Hoping she was right she soon arrived at the Valkyr comfinds. Luckily she didn’t run into any Valkyr’s on the way slipping past people till she found her way to what must be the training room. Choosing the stay at doorway almost having second thoughts thinking maybe she should turn back thinking she wasn’t ready. Or was it all too late?

As Willow mentioned him potentially trading with her people. The Viking chuckled lightly. “I’ve traded with a lot of people. I honestly have lost count, of whom came to my shop and who hasn’t.” It was quite possible, he might have dealt with a Celestial before. If he had, they had been good at keeping their light dimmed. Especially if they had good control over their energy, as far as he knew, it was tied to their emotions.  The Viking didn’t exactly keep a mental list of all the species that had walked into his shop. To him,no matter what specie; they were customers. He was there to provide a certain service. That was all. Hearing her talk about the back room, in the castle with the weaponry; Eirik nodded slightly. “It might be worth taking a look.” He told her. The more ways, she knew how to defend herself, the better. “If you ever need help, with weapons advice...or what might be best to work with, I am always around.” After all. Eirik knew his weapons like the back of his hand, along with combat. Many of his students came to him for advice about such things also. He was more than willing to provide as much intel and help, as he possibly could. At times, he recommended what weapons would suit a person, the most.

With her pressed against his torso, for a few moments. He could feel her heart pick up slightly. Getting a face-full of her red locks. Her scent was intoxicating. So sweet, alluring...warm and oh so familiar. Even having her close to him, almost felt strangely familiar. ‘Get a grip, Eirik. You would remember her, she’s not a face you’d forget so easily.’ He scolded himself mentally. Thinking he was slightly going bonkers yet again. Having no idea what was going on with him; since the Celestial had walked into the Valkyr Compound.

An amused look crossed his face, as she mentioned not working out. “It’s visible.” he agreed with a chuckle. “But, I am going to suggest you do what my other students do. Jog at least 20 minutes per day. If you can, visit the gym at least once a week. It’ll help keep you in shame and muscles active and slowly working up your tolerance, between training sessions.” With that work-out routine, most students got used to working their muscles, and didn’t tire out as easily, when it came to training with him. As their muscles could power through and were more flexible, with time.

Seeing that she took his tips to heart. Eirik deflected her punches. Always quick and alert. “Bit better.” he praised. Willow seemed to be a fast learner. That always came handy, especially in situations like this. “Remember, shield the face.” He saw her shield wavering slightly, so reminded her of where her arms should be. If he hadn’t been careful with his punches, he would have knocked her flat out. He was always careful not to injure his students.

“Punching bags are a good way, to practise your hits and kicks, at the gym.” A little something, which would help her get in shape and work on her swing and power. Not to mention, it was good target practise; when trying to kick or hit the same spot, over and over again.

The Redheaded Celestial smiled hearing how he spoke of trading with a lot of people knowing how he was always proud of his work even back when they used to be friends. Where he was only crafting weapons with his own bare hands. Seeing how far he’s come. “A busy man huh?” She teased softly. For herself she spent a lot of time in the book shop. More than she should really but always found it was more relaxing to sit there curled up reading a book. Compared to back in the castle where others were always around, never being as peaceful. She was now looking forward to seeing what his shop was like seeing it’s what she could imagine it to be if it’s still quite old fashioned or modernised. Even if she was clueless about what types of weapons there were how she was more reliant on her powers instead. “I think I’ll take you up on your offer, if not I’d only choose the wrong thing” She pointed out what most likely was going to happen. “I work in a book shop, so if you're looking for a good read I can point you to the right direction” Willow mused softly, smiling and always having a love for books. Yet she knew that he wouldn’t be able to remember it. It still pained her how she could remember whilst he’s memories all gone. One of the many terrible things that the Ailwards had done to her. Willow was one of the Celestials who was not easily so forgiving to them. How others have forgiven, knowing how Rashesh, her fellow Celestial, was having a fling with the enemy. Although she kept her word to keep it all a secret even if she’s not so happy about it.

Their little sparring session was minding her back to the past yet back then they didn’t do much of the training. Starting afresh almost. Willow noticed the confusion that was stuck across Eirik’s face still, what was happening quite often now. Whilst she knew the reasons behind it knowing that it must be killing him. Knowing how it works. A mental block has been put on all of the old memories. The way it’s happened like they never existed. It was a curse, really the only simpler way she could put it. Willow always had a slim and athletic figure but not having much muscle to it, reason why she was wanting to train. More reliant on her mind rather than her physical strength. Willow could almost predict that he would tell her to go on a job each day. Something that was so simple but one she’s never really done. “It’ll probably kill me to start off with” She commented trying to amuse him a little. “My brother is more into fitness than me” Willow knew her brother went all in with his training and how he would spend hours working out building up his strength and muscles. Seeing how Elias kept getting bigger and bigger these days. Maybe she’d try to fit in a jog before work how she was always the earlier wiser, fitting it into her routine. Thinking maybe it’ll do her good hearing, others always said that exercise was good for you.

She was now trying to take his tips and guidance, changing her techniques around. Changing the way she was trying before to the more better way. Willow soon adjusted her hands position hearing as he told her to keep her hands up shielding her face. Knowing to keep her guard up was an important thing. “We have some of them back at home I think” Knowing she’d seen some in a training room or she knew how Elias had one. “So what do I do next?” She wondered looking to him for the next step seeing how she’d only shown him what she already knew. Wanting to see how she could put the two together.

“Always.” Eirik nodded, as the Celestial guessed that he was a busy man. The former Viking would rather keep busy, than be bored under any circumstances; hence his packed schedule. That, and his usual stubbornness and dedication; made him take on more. It took a lot for him to back down, and admit he needed help; if things got too hectic for him. Most of the time, he kept himself together. It indeed was a rarity to see him crumbling under pressure. The Valkyr lightly chuckled, at her comment. “That’s alright, a lot of people don’t know what weapon suits them; especially if it’s their first one.” He was used to it, from plenty of his customers. Those that had more experience, knew what they were looking for, or wanted costume made. Hearing her suggestion, The male nodded with a soft smile. “If I ever find extra time to sit down and read a book, I’ll keep your offer in mind.” He was sure he saw plenty of book-shops around Evermore. “Which book-shop is it? I think Evermore’s a bit popular on those.” Last he seen, he spotted at least 3. So he didn’t want to go walking around everyone one of them, just to find her. Even though it might prove worth it.

The Celestial was rather short compared to him; Eirik towered over her by at least an entire foot. With her slender, slim frame; it’d take some time and effort for her to get some muscle. But most of his students handled it with grace; even the smaller one’s. Eventually the body just got used to new muscles being put to use. “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” he pointed out, at her joke. “You’ll get used to it, soon enough. Your height can come to an advantage too.” She was short, so technically could be more sneaky with some of her moves; Rik knew some of his students used their shorter stature to an advantage.

Eirik nodded slightly. “I see, might save you a trip to the gym, if you got punching bags at home.” If not, the gym would have to do. It seemed like the Celestial was quite eager to learn more. “Here’s a scenario. An attacker flips you to the ground pinning you down, how do you get out of it?” The Valkyr questioned, wondering if she knew the correct ways to set herself free. If not, he’d have to teach her. It was a tricky move, that some of his students always messed up. A few of them tried to wing it, with a few various combinations.

Willow could see that he was one to take on more than he could handle like before in the past. Always amazed that he had any time to himself. She liked to keep herself busy too finding that when she had so much free time and left with just herself and her thoughts that's when she struggled. Something that she’s found keeps herself busy helps to keep her own demons at bay. Willow knew many other Celestials were the same, finding their own ways of coping, that they’ll all never properly be recovered or the same as they were before. It’s something she’s accepted over time. “You should make time for yourself more” She reminded him yet she was sure that he’d been told it many times before but still carries on. Willow wasn’t too sure what her favourite weapon of choice would be. Still having yet to figure it out when it comes to it, with how it was not as important to her. Since she wasn’t raised as a fighter unlike a lot of other supernaturals. “I’ll have to see what one I’m best good at” Even if she knew that she’d sick to one of the easiest weapons still knowing she’d prefer to use her knowledge over choosing to physically figure but that's just her. “You’ll see all that you’ve been missing out on” She smiled softly trying to push him to find time to read, something she’s good at. “Oh it’s one of the small ones, it’s on the corner near small bakery” Although she was sure that she’d probably described where most book shops were but the one she works at was one that catches your eye as you walk past making you want to go inside/

The Celestial knew if her brother saw her now that he’d be laughing at her attempt of learning to fight. Since he was always the more althiectic and keen one to work out and into fitness and all. Whilst for her she’s just giving it a go mostly likely failing whilst trying. Willow grinned a little as Eirik mentioned using her height as an advantage thinking she’d use that one a lot. “I could easily sneak up on someone when they least expect it” Her brother always would say that she’s sneaky at times coming out of nowhere because she’s much shorter than him. Yet it came at her disadvantage at times when it comes to reaching things that are up high. At work she’d normally have to find some steps if Leigh wasn’t about to get some books down for customers or herself. Willow had yet to properly explore the training rooms back home that weren’t for Celestial training itself. “I think they have some back home or I’m sure that Elias has some at his” Willow looked over to Eirik as she mentioned her brother's name almost to see if it would bring anything back to him. Almost wanting to see how far his memory loss was to her and her kind. Seeing so far it’s more of an annoyance, that she’s familiar but he couldn’t remember.

Willow shook her head softly to focus back on the training itself, almost trying to figure out what she would do if she'd be put in a situation like that. “I would try to get out of your hold, probably use my feet and kick your chest to take you by surprise” Looking to him as she guessed, seeing if she was right or it would be a stupid motive to use. “Was this right or?”

The Valkyr chuckled hearing her comment. Was it amusing? Slightly in fact, she wasn’t the first nor the last person to tell him that. “I can’t tell you, how many times I’ve been told that.” He admitted. But the former Viking was very stuck in his ways and stubborn, so like her...he probably didn’t listen, when people told him he needed more of ‘him’ time, as it’d put his jobs on a slow-burn. Not wanting to lose business. If Sofi wasn’t teasing him, for being a technology virgin as he so smoothly put it, here Willow was saying what he was missing out on. “Seems like I’ve  been living under a rock.” he half joked. His brow slightly furrowed in thought, as she described where the book shop she worked at, was. “Oh that one.” he nodded. Knowing that one. “It looks more inviting than others.” Something about it looked more aesthetically pleasing.  Maybe he wasn’t the only one that thought that.

It seemed like the Celestial caught onto what he meant about her height, pretty quickly. Looking pleased. Fast learner. He liked that. “Also makes it easier to dodge some attacks.” Depending where the attackers hands and legs would be positioned, of course. “Remember, these agility, strength, stamina...all three, useful when counter-attacking and escaping from tight grips.” Sneakiness was also useful. In her case, it would be. Nodding. “If you don’t find any home or with your brother, you’re always welcome to train here.” He had plenty of training equipment, letting his students use them to their hearts content, if they didn’t go to the gym. Elias. Why did that name feel as familiar, as Willow did? His brow scrunched up in confusion and concentration again, trying to place where he heard the name. Shaking it off. Now wasn’t time to try and figure such things out. Eirik would figure it all out, sooner or later. Hopefully?

“Not a bad guess, but not entirely correct.” Eirik told the Celestial. “Focus on the wrists.” he showed her a wrist motion, that’d allow her to hold onto the attacker’s wrist to make them loosen their hold. “Best way is to push your knee up against their push...and pushing at their shoulders...once you get free of their hold. Or a simple knee to the sensitive area...and boom...even the toughest attacker...is weak...and you can simply push him off.”

Willow was good at reading people. It was one of her many skills. Probably one of the reasons why she was perfect at her job. To know exactly what people want then she’d be able to quickly figure out what they need. Willow could tell that Eirik likes to take on more than he could handle. With how she knew he never could say no in the past, she was sure that's not changed now. “And still you don’t do it” Laughing softly, she shook her head at him knowing that he’s someone who will never change. Yet she was happy for it. “Probably” She piped up. Willow waited to see if he knew where her shop was as she described it, right on queue he did. “Yup that's the one. It’s one of the hidden treasures of the city, you just have to look for it” She grinned happily looking back at him. Loving where she works, always the one to tell others about it. It was her happy place and somewhere she was proud of.

She was still trying to remember and figure out all her movements and placements for her training. How there’s more to it than she first thought but luckily for her she was good at picking up things. Always having that knack something Elias would often tease her about. Especially when she ends up being better at him than something. “Right. Stamina, Strength and Agility” The Celestial listed out loud trying to remember the steps so she’d be able to use them to her advantage. Willow was already learning a lot.

The Celestial still didn’t know how long she would be able to keep it up still. How it was still paining her that he’s not able to remember her. That she must come up as a blank to him but still she’s been able to notice little by little with more time passing how she’s different from all the other people he’s met. Willow knew it would be starting to come back to him only in small parts. Yet she’s only guessing that's how it works, the mind erase was still something still all new. All thanks to the Ailwards who ruined everything that was good in the Celestials lives. Still Willow hates that they rip and erase people's memories away. How people like Eirik weren’t able to remember her. That it’s just best to pretend they didn’t know each other rather, how it may be unbelievable for others. Easier just to pretend even if it’s more painful. That's how it felt for her.

As she had mentioned Elias’s name, the Celestial watched the Valkyr closely. Almost on queue she saw how he reacted to it differently like she’d expected. Another blank coming to him that he couldn’t put his finger on. Willow was surprised that Eirik was willing to let her come and train here. How she was still surprised he’d even let him teach her here too. “You're sure?” She started to say looking confused for a moment. Willow knew that their species were opposites to each other. People would often say they were like yin and yang to one another. How she knew that Valkyr’s were weaker and their abilities were limited when around people like her. “Your forgetting not everyone likes being around my kind” She reminded him thinking he might had forgotten for a moment. Like how she knew her being a Celestial never really affected him much in the past. “I’m sure we can find another place to train if not” Not giving up too soon.

Willow looked a little confused as he spoke of focusing on the wrists. Unsure of what he meant, so she made sure to what he teaches. To figure out why. Seeing how she could do it to  take to your own advantage something they could least expect. “So you can give them a low blow” She grinned, smirking a little bit playfully, able to use that teaching. Luckily for her she was quite small so she’d be able to sneak out away from people without them even noticing.

It was weird, how a stranger like Willow would know him so well. Almost like they had met before? Of course, not knowing that they weren’t strangers at all. “You guessed that right...stubborn and set in my old ways, of life...you could say.” The former Viking wasn’t ever used to taking a break for himself...back in the olden days, things were more tough. He couldn’t afford to. It was something that stuck with him, till this day. False of Habits.  “Having two jobs, I can’t exactly ditch either for time for myself.” Or that was his usual excuse. But sometimes he did feel himself struggling. Knowing he indeed needed some sort of a break, from it all.

Nothing frustrated the Valkyr more, than not being able to remember something. It was downright annoying. Making him feel like his mind was going around a right ‘twist.’ His age finally catching up to him with memory loss? Whatever it was, it wasn’t natural. Eirik never forgot things. He had a brilliant memory; heck, he could remember every single detail about his old life...but he couldn’t remember, why Willow was so familiar? That made no sense to him.

His instincts were telling him to ask. But what was he going to tell her? Surely, it’d be rude and awkward to ask. So he opted not to. Choosing the harder route, of trying to remember. “I am sure….a lot of Valkyrs have their Volkari...so you should be fine.” Once a Valkyr found their bond, they weren’t affected by other stars, like they would be before the bond would take place. Allowing them to be around the presence of the Celestials, without feeling weak. But something else was nagging at his mind. Almost like his subconscious was telling him something. “The only way, you would totally be safe though, is we formed the bond.” Eirik couldn’t explain it. But he felt a deep need to protect her, and look out for her. “But the choice is yours, no pressure.” he smiled at her softly. But given the darkness in the city also, it’d mean, he’d be able to protect her from that also. And Willow and the other Valkyrs in the compound wouldn’t be affected by each other.

He was amused by the term she had used. “Well, yes...if you put it that way. That’s not the technical term for it, but basically the easiest way to get out.” he chuckled. The Celestial seemed like she could use a lot of sneaky tactics to her advantage.

The Celestial knew she had to be careful, easily forgetting. Trying not to say the wrong thing or to recall things he’s not able to remember. Almost to know to cover her tracks, although she knew she wasn’t doing too well. Luckily for her she could see how he was trying to push past all the confusion and drawing of blanks. Willow grinned a little, shaking her head as he spoke of being stubborn and set in his ways. Seeing how that's not changed about him, something she’d always liked. “You're crazy for taking on two jobs” Pointing out something he’d probably always been told. That he’d too say yes to anyone who wants help with their training or guidance. Seeing how he’d quickly agreed to help her without getting to know her properly first. For herself she knew when to stop putting so much pressure and workload on herself. Finding when she did, she’d only burn out. Then putting her mental and physical health in danger. Working at the book shop she’d found was easy and peaceful. Able to do things at her own pace, how it wasn’t too busy or two quiet. Just in between. Something she’d help other Celestials who needed help and guidance with adjusting to modern life. Being how she was one of the Celestials who’d quickly adapted and found things easier than the rest who was stuck in the past. Both her and Elias had it easier than others. Easily blending in.

Willow didn’t want to feel let down almost, that's why she reminded him that she may not be so welcome by everyone else here in the compound. With how she knew some species liked to keep to themselves, not one to strangers into their own. Too it was difficult, with their species being the opposite. Willow didn’t want to cause any anger or problems because she wanted to be trained by Eirik rather than someone of her own species. At the mention of Volkari’s, it reminded her of something they spoke about in the past. Although they never got around to actually going through it all with how they left things. Willow knew some of the other Celestials have gotten themselves Volkari bonds since arriving in the city. That Ophelia and Gideon formed once as a sort of alliance between the two factions, more of a political stance rather than other reasons why others choose to form one. She was surprised hearing Eirik suggesting they could form one, that he thought of it even if it seemed like they'd only met each other mere hours or so ago. Yet here he was, ready to agree to an unbreakable bond. “Only if you're sure” Checking two, wantign to know if he was ready not making a quick decision. Part of her was happy, almost reminding him how they once agreed years ago. It almost happened. “I thought a Valkyr of your age and experience would have formed a bond years ago” She wondered curiously looking at him yet she knew the reason why he hadn't but wondered to see if something may click to how he couldn’t remember all. Still Willow hated lying to him but knew it was easier this way, all being complicated and all a mess.

Still she was trying to learn and remember all the new terminology for the different training for fighting techniques. With Eirik correcting her a little. “I could easily slip past people” At times she could take her height to her advantage. Now Willow was focused on trying to get better with all her fighting and self defense skills. Still she was paranoid of being captured and locked up again wanting to be ready next time. Being the one of many Celestials who still feel the constant worry and paranoia take over. Something none of them can easily forget and get over. Just something they’ve all come to live with.

As Willow told him, something he heard plenty of times. The Valkyr just chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. “So I’ve been told, on many occasions.” And he was sure, people would still carry on telling him, later down the line. But everyone that knew him, knew how he liked to keep busy and keep a schedule. Or, he might just be bored. Making weapons and passing on his wisdom in combat and battle and weapon training; it was his passion. But not everyone was like him; in that sense. Over the centuries, he knew people that burned out easily with too much to do...and others, were simply like him. Busy bees.

He could gather why she had questioned, not being welcome here at the compound. She was cautious. He couldn’t blame her for that. It was natural. At least, she wanted to keep herself and his people safe...so she wouldn’t drain the Valkyrs...or visa versa, if she was around too much. “I am sure.” He wasn’t sure why...or how. But Eirik hadn’t been more sure of anything in his existence. Maybe it had been long previous instincts in him, that hadn’t died...even if memories of her had been suppressed. Slightly chuckling at her comment. “What can I say? I’ve always been a bit of a loner...and hadn’t exactly met a Celestial...that I felt a connection to in the past.” Hence why he didn’t have a bond. Unknown to him, that she knew a lot more than he knew, at this point about why he still didn’t have a bond yet. He slightly paused. “Unless…” He felt like there was something that still was missing. Did he meet a Celestial before, that he felt connected too and wanted to form a bond with? Yes he had...she was right in front of him. I swear, I am getting old...with these memory gaps. He thought to himself, internally huffing. He decided to shake it off for the mean time.

Eirik nodded in agreement. “Being short, can pay off.” he smiled down at her. Knowing she was trying hard to remember and learn. “I am sure you’ll find plenty of ways to use your height to your advantage.” Or so he could hope. Rather than letting it be used against her.

With more time passing the more she was wishing to tell him the truth. So many times in the past hour she wanted to blurt out the truth. Hating keeping it from him. Remembering in the past how they had trust with each other. Putting their faith in each other. The same came with secrets. How they were ready to become Volkari. It was how much they trusted each other. Yet Willow knew now it was different. His memories were all gone. That telling him the truth now like this would be all too much. He’d most likely think that she's crazy or so. Not wanting to ruin things after only just finding him again. The Celestial choose to keep it all in. No matter how much it was hurting her. Choosing to do what's best till it’s the right time. “If not you’d just crash one day from it all” Willow pointed out, to how much Eirik took on more than he could handle. She could remember when she first started at the book shop and Leigh was trying to take on too much. Trying to juggle running the shop and his studies at the same time all by himself, till she was there to take some weight off his shoulders. Seeing how more thankful he was for her help. Willow just didn’t want the same to happen to Eirik.

As they spoke of the Volkari bond more. Willow wanted to make sure if this is what he wanted. How it was all different from the first time when they had first spoken and agreed about the idea. With centuries past and memories wiped. Willow wanted to be sure if this is what he wanted. For all he knows right now she was merely a stranger. A lost Celestial who came looking for a trainer, then now a potential volkari candidate. Willow knew a lot about Volkari bonds back when she had read into. She was a person who always chose to look into something for a while before she agreed anything. Willow knew that the bond too meant protection, something she was needing more than before. Feeling the constant fear of worry of history repeating itself with her kind. How she was paranoid like most of her people. Willow looked over to Eirik as he made his decision for the bond. Listening to his words, how they hurt the most knowing that all he said that he hasn’t had before he actually had. He had her but lost her. It took all of her not to say that that he did. Seeing as he took a pause making her look more closely, if something was clicking inside of him the more time they spent together. It was like he was fighting with himself and his sanity not to seem like he was losing it whilst she was the person who knew he wasn’t and knew the truth. That he did know a celestial, and shared a close bond with one before with her…

“I have many more things to learn, this is only the beginning right?” She grinned at him. As they carriedo their training hoping there would be many more training sessions to come. Maybe she could take a few classes to learn how to use her height to her advantage, lacking at martial arts. So one day she’d be able to take her brother down, taking him by surprise. Wanting to be able to defend and protect herself and others was her engagement. Knowing it wasn’t going to be an easy road but something she was ready to push herself for.

For the life of him, he just couldn’t figure out why she felt so familiar. But the Valkyr didn’t want to over-step by asking, and freak her out. Most people would think he was being weird...or crazy; if he just came out and asked them why they looked familiar. Maybe it was all the work-load he had on him, messing with his mind. That’s got to be it. “I am sure, I’ll handle it.” Somehow. Or thus was the hope that he could handle all the pressure of his two jobs. But he was sure that somehow...he’d work through it all. He was used to it after all...centuries upon centuries, of such hard work. But her concern for him was touching. Almost like she knew him too well, that he’d reach the end of his limits, any time soon.

It was almost like yesterday that they spoke about this. Something about this conversation, felt like de ja vu, for a few moments. But how? Eirik didn’t think that they ever had this conversation before, until today. His mind was working over-time, trying to figure it all out. But he wasn’t having much luck. “Don’t feel like you need to answer right now. If you need time to think, do.” The Valkyr told her.It was something that they both needed to consider...even if it had already been considered in the past. “Though speaking of surprises, I can say the same about you, not having found a bond either.” She seemed like a Celestial, that would have already had a bond already. Unless she kept herself guarded, that she hadn’t considered it before? But he had a feeling..there was more to the story, than he realised. If only his memories were intact. Then he wouldn’t have wasted a single second thinking about this.

Nodding in agreement. “Mhh, there’s plenty more to learn. We’re taking it easier for now...as time goes on, I’ll teach you more advanced stuff.” It’ll just depend how quickly, she’ll learn, to get to that point. Most of his students like attending more classes; to carry on expanding their skills and knowledge. But with how easy she was picking up on things, it wouldn’t surprise him, if one day she’d take him by surprise with what she learned. People rarely took him by surprise...but he had a feeling that Willow was much different than most.

Willow noticed that Eirik kept glancing over to her, stealing hidden glances when she wasn’t looking. How he was trying to suss her out. To figure out the blank that was in his head what she was choosing to keep from him. Willow always had a myseterius aura about her. Being a star and all. Many people would comment how she was always full of life. With a bubbly personality. After she was released and saved from captivity she made a vow to herself to focus on her own self rather than others. For her own mental health and sanity, well what was left of it. Choosing not to be the shell of the person that she was. Picking herself up from her lowest point and putting herself back together. The celestial did it on all her own. Finding her brother chose to leave her in the time she needed him most. That's when Willow knew she had to do something about it. Even finding herself helping other Celestials to cope. Always happy to help. That's what made her love her job at the bookshop as a way to escape and feel like she has some sort of purpose. Not wanting to waste any more years, making up for lost time. All different things she’s lost out on, along with different people too. “If you say so” She commented, nodding her head a little how could handle taking on many things. Willow knew that he’d crumble at one point, it’s just a waiting game till he knew when to ask for help or to say no.

To many people this was a big decision one that people would have to take weeks to decide even then it’s not fully set. Whilst for it was one she said yes to straight away back then. Willow knew it was something she wanted. Already feeling that she’s able to put her faith and trust in Eirik. Even ready to make the unbreakable bond, to be one. One that's for life and couldn’t go back. Willow knew that Eirik felt the same. It only hurt her more that he couldn’t remember her or their past. “I’ve already made my mind up, I want this” Not needing to take time to think, letting him know she made her mind up that it’s what she wants. She was happy that he hadn’t found anyone else who he trusted enough to become volkari’s with. “I nearly had one but things happened” She started to stop herself from saying anymore how it wasn’t worth it how he wasn’t able to remember. Not wanting to mess with his head any more than she already has been being here.

“Maybe we could have our next lesson somewhere else, I’m sure that other Valkyr’s won’t be too happy to see a Celestial walking into their home” It was probably herself overthinking but she couldn’t help to feel paranoid at times. Whilst she knew she had done it having come here in the first place. It was just the only place she thought to find Eirik not wanting for it to seem like she had been stalking him from afar. Which she hadn’t. She knew a few places that were hidden away that would be perfect to train and spar away from everything. No distractions.
