After the closing of a certain club called Ministry of Sound, the night owls seemed to be doomful. When a close friend of Svetlana's left the city with a heartbreaking goodbye and a males name and number. Svetlana had promised she'd open a club to remember Aisling by. Only, Svetlana was a bit iffy on this man. A therian, the thought of it made her tremble since it was their kind with the Vampires and Phoenix who held her captive as a young child; all beacuse of her fathers personal Vendetta with the Therians, Phoenix and Vampires, due to him serving in the Russian army. And today, she was still mentally unstable. But she'd met Ais a long time ago when they too co-owned one of Svetlana's club, which happened to be a Russian club.

Lana got herself ready as the sky above settled to complete darkness, Giving herself a once over in the mirror, the Nephilim smirked, she thought she looked damn good. Grabbing her personal items such as her phone, keys, wallet and ipod, she shoved it all into her bag and headed out of the spacious home the Nephilim ambassador had given her in exchange for her spot in the Nephilim community. Being a Councillor had as many downfalls as it did it's perks. It was stressful at times, and always time consuming, but with going along with the plan to co-own a club named; Sinister Sounds, she knew she'd have her hands full.

It was a very worthy cause however. The only thing left to do was to get a hold of Dominic, Svetlana already knew him, but they'd bumped heads a lot due to the fact he was a Therian and trust was slim to none with them. At times, they got into supernatural altercations, both matching with their agility, speed, and strength.. so their altercations were ended usually due to exhausting themselves. But over the years, they became close; closer than close, and had made the mistake of sleeping together. But, now they were more like best friends and didn't let their mishap cripple their friendship. LAna could tell Dom anything, and the fact that she knew certain Therians, Vampires and other creatures were lurking around waiting to end her like they had her father, caused for a more protective side of Dominic.

She was rather excited to start co-owning with him if he agreed. As she sped off, humming along to Mine As she arrived, she pushed through the doors., smirking as she seen the beefy beast sitting at the bar. Taking a seat beside of him, she gazed to the decor, and this one was much better than MoS in her opinion. Dominic had put most of it together, and what he didn't do, his other Therians did, which conflicted her, as little as she trusted the species, she had to admit, they made this club something amazing. Today ws only the beginning. Lana pulled her clipboard from her bag, and slid it Dominics way. "So, how about some co-owning?" she asked, with a coy smirk dancing on her lips.

"I love it, this place looks amazing, thanks for everything you did" she stated waiting on him to sign the papers as she spoke again. "And, since your other Therians helped, you can add them as a security detail, if you wish. Or bartenders, unless we can come up with some sort of attraction that Ministry of Sound had, like the girls on skates"  she finished, fixing them both a glass of Rum. "I'm really in awe here, how about you give me a tour?" she then asked, nudging his side playfully.

"Go go dancer booths and the pool was an amazing addition, and the Webetop LED Digital Interactive Led Starlit Lighted Floor Tiles is also amazing!" she shreeked in excitement" She couldn't wait to get a tour of the place, she already seen the VIP booth, also much better than the one in Minsitry of Sound. Sinister Sounds was basically created by Dominic, and it's where his true artistic side came out, She was happy that the VIP lounge would over-look the city, but she couldn't see the entire thing, so she waited for Dom to sign his part of the papers, and show her around.

Dominic's eyes fluttered open slowly and he immediately began coughing in fits. Rolling over on all fours, he put his back up against the refrigerator trying to calm his lungs down as they attempted to retrieve the air that they had been deprived of before he had fallen unconscious on the kitchen floor. "Lana?" he said into the eerie quiet, but it didn't even sound like his own voice leaving his lips. He had barely choked her name out from the burning that still remained in his chest. He got no response.

Standing quickly, the therian let his senses push out, but he couldn't hear a sound. "Shit." His mind went back to the moment he had seen her looking like someone else as her nephilim powers overwhelmed him. It was like his friend had completely gone from her body and someone else was in control instead. It wasn't unheard of that someone else could use magic to control another being, but it would have to be someone very powerful. A valkyr? One that wanted to get Svetlana back with this clan for their revenge? It seemed unlikely, but the idea that someone else who was possibly hired to do so seemed more like the answer. Speculations began to swirl in his mind and none of them were good.

"Brad! Nick!!" He called out their names loudly as he felt his voice beginning to return to normal. Dominic quickened his pace to the second bedroom and pushed open the door where both therians lay on the ground motionless. He quickly knelt down next to Nick and called his name a few times, placing his fingers under his nose and feeling the shallow breaths the man was taking. He was alive. Shaking him a few times, the wolf finally woke up and then Dom moved to Brad who required a slap to the face for more incentive to come back to the waking world. As Brad's frenzied eyes looked around the room, Dominic only sighed. "She's gone."

The three had gathered back into the living room as Dom held his cellphone up to his ear for the tenth time as he tried to call the missing nephilim. There was never an answer and hours had passed. The only solution he could think of was getting another ailward guard involved. He quickly called Zack who had recently joined the guard. He'd never been a techy person and knew he never would be, but the things he watched this human do with a few computers would blow anyone's mind and he was thankful to have him on the same team.  Dominic called in for a favor and asked if he would be able to track Svetlana's phone number like he'd seen him do so many other times for other guards. Normally this would only be allowed for cases specific to the Guard, but Zack came through for him off the record. As the coordinates came through to his phone via text, his heart sank. "She's at the hotel."

Forty minutes later and they were pulling up to the hotel. There was no movement of anyone coming or going, workers or guests, as they walked into the lobby. Everything was eerily silent. His phone went off again and the rest of the security that had been waiting for them at Dave's was only five minutes away, but that was a lifetime to wait and he didn't know the condition Svetlana was in. They, for lack of a better term, followed their noses which was completely overpowered by that of blood. They cautiously walked through the darkened lobby of the hotel and found themselves at the back entrance where four valkyr stood with a lifeless human slumped on the floor. The fight was soon on.

Dominic pulled his blade out from the sheath on his belt. The two therians by his side growled lowly as the seven stood there waiting for someone to make the first move. One of the valkyr melded into the shadows and with his supernatural ability, created black tendrils to lash out at Dominic. He quickly dodged the attack and spun around the lightning quick valkyr with an anticipated sidestep while Nick, who had turned into his lycan form of a white wolf, leaped into the air and sunk his jaws into the unsuspecting valkyr. Within moments, the three therians had bested their foes and quickly moved outside just as their back up arrived.

The battle was chaotic as Dominic quickly moved across the bloody field in search of Svetlana. He took off at a run to get by her side, taking down as many valkyr as he could. The beings were stronger than therians at night, but they also were still weakened by the bite of his fellow wolves. Many of the bouncers were now in their lycan forms taking the valkyr on without fear. It was the pack mentality they all shared even when he didn't want to take on the role of alpha.

Dominic skidded across the grass as someone lunged at him. The valkyr in front of him called to the darkness as tendrils quickly wrapped around his wrist and ankles, rooting him to the ground. He pulled against the restraints, but it was no use as the man who sneered at him vanished in a flash and was behind him, sinking his teeth into his shoulder. What the valkyr didn't know was that Dominic was an Ailward Guard and just as soon as he'd began to pull the blood from his body did he immediately cry out. No valkyr could consume a guard's blood without the dire consequence of losing their mind shortly after as the magic of his tattoo was instant. The valkyr stumbled backwards and screamed in agony as he began pounding his head with his fists. The dark tendrils that had once trapped Dominic to the spot vanished and he quickly took up his blade and stabbed the maddened supernatural in the neck.

His eyes fell on Svetlana who had found herself a sword in all the chaos. Dominic bolted across the space that separated them and as she turned around at the same moment the blade found its way to his neck. He instinctively lifted his head up as the sword just touched his skin, searching the familiar eyes he once knew, but as she dropped the weapon, her arms flew around his neck in an embrace. Dom let out a light breath in relief and returned the hug, wrapping his arms around her and lifting her smaller frame slightly. Listening to her words, he could hear the Lana he knew and cared for, but there was something else that had caused her to do what she did back at the apartment. As the battle continued on around them, Dominic pushed the thought away, knowing it wasn't exactly the best time to have the conversation and only nodded to her in response. "You don't have to thank me, Lala. Of course I would come, but no goodbyes." His therian vision darted around the field and he could see more of the valkyr coming. He squeezed her much smaller hand as she took it in hers. "Let's end this once and for all."

Svetlana was devastated. Dominic was someone she would love for a lifetime as her truest and closest friend. He had also became her biggest protector. Nothing got past Dom, when Svetlana was about to do something stupid, he had always figured it out before she could even act; it was just unfortunate that something or someone had been strong enough to control Svetlana in a way that not even Dom had caught onto earlier, just before she left him crippled, and without any oxygen left in his lungs.

She was thankful in this moment to be embraced by him. She deserved to be scolded, she deserved to hear how much of a back stabbing bitch she was, even if it wasn't truly her who had done it. But, she knew Dom would never say such things to her, because he'd never feel such things. She was utterly happy that he knew her better than that. It's what made them who they were and it's why they'd survived this many years of friendship. After he gave her hand a squeeze with an equal amount of pressure, she smiled at his words. "Nothing has ever sounded so good" she responded; and with her sword in the other hand, Svetlana dove forward into the chaos with Dom beside her.

She held onto his hand as tightly as she could, but she knew she'd have to let go or neither of them would be able to battle their way to safety. Letting go was the hardest thing she'd done this entire night, after hurting him psychically, she didn't wanna be an inch away from him now. Therians littered the filed they were in, one wolf after another leaping in the way of danger for her, it was a sight worth seeing, but she felt a sliver of guilt. Her sword had already dismembered two of the Valkyr lunging towards her; but it seemed the more they'd taken down, the more that showed up in their place.

Svetlana gazed around, swallowing harshly as she saw a few of the Therian's losing energy each time they were hurt. Most of them by now had scattered wounds, and th Nephilim's heart sank, knowing they would likely lose  one or two more people that Dominic was close to. "Dom! they're outnumbering us" she cried out, unable to continue this madness herself. The will to fight hadn't left her though, but she knew if it continued at this rate, if every time they killed one, another replaced it, that they'd be at this until they were drained and overpowered. "Nick.." she then said in a whispered tone, as his wolf form laid lifeless on the ground, only seeing faint breaths of air leaving him as his stomach rose slowly.

Saddened eyes darted back to Dom as he handled those that lunged towards him with grace, each one that took a leap, crumbled to the ground just as quickly. Svetlana's position wasn't much difference, even through the yelling at Dom she had managed to take those down who tried to pounce on top of her. "Fuck fuck fuck!!" she growled, digging deep within herself for that feeling she had back when she had slaughtered the last organization of rogues, all single handedly except for the few that had made it out alive, that happened to be right here in the field with him right now. A darkness suddenly consumed Svetlana, where she could only see red. Her eyes continued glowing purple, and her sword whipped around decapitating one rogue after the next until she somehow made her way back at Dom's side. "This is tiring.." she said, giving him a side glance, trying to make light of a very shitty moment.

The rogues had seemed to vanish, leaving a few of Dom's Therians wounded, and one motionless, as Nick continued laying completely still. "IS it ov- - -?" she was about to ask when a group of rogues wearing black hooded robes stepped out from behind the tree's and the shadows. Svetlana thought it was going to get even worse for her and Dom and the rest, but these people were older rogues, people had gone their separate ways from their factions, but rogues who didn't allow the madness that these younger rogues were causing Svetlana and others like Svet. When the elder rogues made their way to Svet and Dom who stood in the middle of dead Valkyr's and the Therians who hadn't made it, Svet grimaced, ready to swing her sword again when one of them spoke up "We don't mean you no harm" the woman said.

Svet looked at Dominic before looking back to the five who stood before them. "What do you want then? Havent you all taken enough from me?" she asked, barely able to speak and when she did her voice was raspy from all the yelling she had done. "We haven't even begun with you. You're the last remaining Vasilyev, and while we have real plans for you, for now.. go live your life" the words sent chills down Svetlana's spine; what did this mean? "Are yo saying you;ll kill me at a later time? NO .. DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO WITH ME NOW! I didn't have anything to do with my fathers dedication to the Nephilims, but you know what... i'm no different, and I live by his name and his cause." she cried out, shaking like a leaf, but still, she defended her dead father whom she'd never gotten to know. "We'll be seeing you around Vasilyev" th eldest of them all spoke, and not once had they showed their faces. "If we wanted you dead, you'd be dead. When you leave from here, get your life back in order.. you deserve to live a little" his tone was cold, and sinister, that dark twinkle in his eye said he would be back for her.

Reaching for Dom's hand, Svet shut down. Silence could have deafened those around her. She wasn't sure what to do from here. Live her life? What did that mean, she had never done that before. Why did it matter to these elder rogues that she did so.

Dominic spun, sinking the dagger into the flesh of another valkyr's neck, sliding the blade across in a single swift motion. Blood spurted across his shirt in the same moment as he took the legs out from under the supernatural. The scene was unbelievable. Never had he thought the rogues were so determined to end Svetlana's life in such a way that they would bring about the sheer number of reinforcements as they were doing this night. The therians were becoming outnumbered and he knew they couldn't last much longer no matter the advantage of venom they carried in their bites.

Svetlana's voice carried over the chaos as he heard the words that were echoing in his head. They would need a miracle to make it out now. His gaze fell on Nick who lay still on the earth and his heart sank. He couldn't lose anymore people tonight. He had to find a way out of this for them all, but what? The valkyrs were on a bloodthirsty mission and whoever was in control of them seemed to not care how many of their lives it took to get to Lana.

Her scent hit him suddenly as he glanced over his shoulder and saw the targeted nephilim standing beside him, her eyes in a frenzy as she surveyed the hotel property which had turned battlefield. If they were to go out together like this, he planned on taking as many of these rogues with him as possible. Dom spun his dagger in his hand as he prepared for the next blood sucking asshole to attack. "Come on..." he growled lowly, his eyes moving back and forth between the two closest valkyr who were inching towards them.

Dominic raised the blade slightly as he prepared for them to lunge, but then their eyes suddenly moved behind him and they began to back away. A look of confusion passed over his face as he looked back and saw a new group of people come from out of the shadows. He instinctively stepped halfway in front of Svetlana. Pushing his senses outward, he couldn't tell right away what they were, but the smell of blood on them was thick. More valkyr.

Their declaration of not wanting to cause them any harm made him scoff in response. He quickly looked around the area and saw the other rogues had all but disappeared, leaving his fellow therians in as much disbelief as he was feeling. A few began to flank around he and Svetlana in case these new valkyr did plan on an attack, but he couldn't believe they would try anything now that they were showing some type of reason in calling off their rogues.

Dominic listened to the words they exchanged between themselves and Lana. Nothing about them made him feel any better. So now they were going to let her live just to fuck with her later? This was all becoming too much. Perhaps that one valkyr at the club really did mess up their plans of staying in the shadow of Svetlana by reacting out of sheer revenge and in that one action, brought them all here tonight. The one thing they could take away as good news, they at least now knew to be prepared for one that day would come. As the nephilim screamed out in anger, Dominic put an arm around her to keep her against him. He could feel her shaking in her emotion as he slid his dagger back in the sheath. A quick nod of his head towards the other therians and they were backing away to go check on the others who were hurt.

He brought his eyes back to the valkyr, seeing one of them sneer at him. What he wouldn't give to cut that smirk off his face. He kept himself in check though. There was no point in causing more of a fuss if they were letting them live tonight. As the group retreated back into the night, he felt Svetlana go somewhat limp against him, her hand slipping into his. He wrapped his free arm around her and guided them back across the bloodied grass. "Let's get you home."

Svetlana couldn't rest with things ending this way. If they simply just let her go.. then that meant Dom, along with the rest of his Therian's had put their lives in danger for no reason, some had even lost their lives to protect Svetlana, and fight a war that the elder Valkyr's just called off. "No" she said quietly within Dom's grasp, unable to lunge towards them even if she wanted to. Eyeing the male who seemed to be the leader of that coven, the Nephilim practically growled out "I don't want to live my life for a matter of however long, for it to end when you decide. If i'm still going to be your puppett, end this now!" she shouted, and at this point, she was sobbing. Svetlana had grown tired, and weak. She couldn't keep living this way, and she didnt want those that she loved to continue living like this either. Always at the brink of war, and constantly she and Dominic had been saying goodbye to those they'd grown to love in the Therian pack,

Still in Dom's embrace, the Nephiilim wrapped a dainty hand around his arm, squeezing it just a little to keep herself balanced and calm. For whatever reason, him keeping his arm around her and keeping her against him, kept the Russian Nephilim calm to the point that she didn't wanna rip their heads off. The darkness within her still had a hold of her, but she was confident that Dom had a stronger hold than the darkness, and her craving for blood shed. That effect had been left with Svetlana after she'd left dozens of rogues in her wake, scattering their body parts from one end of the compound she'd been prisoner in, to the other. Svet could tell Dom was riddled by anger, but she was happy he didn't let it get the better of him as she watched him put his dagger back into the sheath that held it.

Svet always found herself in awe of how much the others listened to Dom and respected him; with just the simple nod of his head, they were backing off, and quickly checking on those who were injured or didn't make it at all. A frown tugged at Svetlana's features, as she finally stopped herself from sobbing. She couldn't have imagined this playing out any differently when she stepped back to look at the reality of her situation. Killig her father simply didn't suffice for them. Svet's father had dedicated himself to the Nephilim's, and had already shut down organizations like this before, full of different rogue species who brought harm to those who didn't deserve it. The new group, that Svet and Dom had been dealing with were a lot faster, and smarter than the last, and she feared they would grow in number, once again. They always reformed from scratch when they were shut down, but she couldn't shake the feeling that these elder's had different plans than what the others had been going along with. They damn sure ran the show.

As the Valkyr' all retreated back into the shadows and the darkness of the night, and Svetlana fell limp against the masculine Therian, she gazed to him; a look of doom on her face as she made eye contact with the person who meant the most to her "I - " was all she managed to mutter out, as she attempted to swallow the lump of pain in her throat. As the two of them walked across the blood stained grass, Svet's hand involuntarily flew up, covering her mouth as she surveyed the after math of what they'd just been through. "Oh god" she muttered in a weak whisper. "This is all my fault" she added, before kneeling by Nick's lifeless form, and rubbing the side of his face "I'm so sorry Nick; this shouldn't have happened to you.. to none of you" she stated, letting her gaze fall onto those who were left standing. None of them seemed angered by this, at least not angry at Svetlana, and they were all well within their rights to hate her guts, to hate her existence all together.

"Svet if we weren't here, you'd what? be dead.. stop blaming yourself, get your ass off the ground and go home.. please. Let Dom take you home, we'll handle all ... this" one of the others spoke out demanding that she leave this mess for them to clean up, and she wasn't okay with that at all. Reaching down, Svetlana swiped her hand over Nick's eyes, closing them before standing back to her feet and giving each of them a hug, before returning back to Dom's side, and looping her arm through his, letting some of her weight fall back against him. Svetlana may have been immortal, with enough power to wipe an entire army of supernaturals out by herself, but this had all wiped her out .. leaving her to feel just as fragile as any human. "I .. I'm ready Alpha" she sniffled a little, but for whatever reason, she was still able to smile a little.. seeing him still standing by her side.. after everything, meant more to Svet than she'd ever be able to tell him. "We're in need of a shower, alcohol and food. So, where ever you wanna go is fine with me" she chuckled, and her voice was hoarse.

This had consumed every moment of their day together for the last few months, and they were both in dire need of some normality, to get back to a place where they could once again enjoy what originally brought them together; friendship, clubbing and music. Music had been one of Svetlana's biggest escapes from all the misery, and she was determined to get back to djing and bringing noise to the club.
