Evermore. Her new home, and also a fragment of her past. It was said to be a haven for Supernaturals. And truthfully, Elle-Mae sometimes felt like she was coming into her own still. Despite it being, more than 8 years, since she first shifted. Maybe even close to 9/10 years of she was being honest. It had taken her a while to accept that she was a Lycanthrope...let alone even longer; to learn more about the species that she was. Considering, that her father had kept her and her little brother, in the dark about it for so long. It left her beyond shocked, when she discovered the truth; when she was in College. The memories of the Discovery, weren’t pleasant one’s. One’s that often haunted her mind still, as she was filled with guilt for the incident that happened during the course of a full moon. Since then, Elle-Mae tried to be more careful around humans...people in general. Maybe, she was a little  cautious. Not wanting to trigger anyone off; in case it would lead to a sticky situation.

The City, still looked somewhat the same as Elle had remembered it to be; from 4 years ago. Maybe even more busy, since then. At the time, the young Therian had been situated here for about grand total of 6 months; whilst she was working on another new a book; for a publishing company that was in Colorado. With her love of travelling also, Elle-Mae decided to stay close by to her work. Despite, being an editor; she felt like she had some freedom with her job. Ability to work from home, and on the road.

But her reasons, for coming back to Evermore? Elle wanted to be close to her younger brother Justice, whom lived in Evermore also. And hoping to find their elder half brother Phoenix. It was also a bit of a plus, that the current publishing company she was working for; was also relocated to Evermore; getting much bigger offices in the City Centre.

It was a long morning, consisting of a very important meeting for the company and spending some time in the hospital. The company was in the process of recruiting new assistants; as well as wanting to know any major updates on the current books that were in progress of being edited and published. The move, had slightly put Elle behind. But nothing too major. Everyone else, whom seemed to relocate were also struggling a bit, with keeping up to date. So the deadlines got pushed back, in order to give everyone time to catch up and finish by the new deadline. The hospital visit? It was not on her schedule. But one of her colleagues had tripped in high heels; breaking her ankle with quiet a nasty fall.

Elle-Mae was one of the few, kind enough to take the injured woman to the local hospital. It felt strange, being in a familiar setting. Expect, this time time round; Elle-Mae wasn’t the patient. Just a visitor. Elle still remembered, the kind charming Doctor, that had taken care of her during her time here. Dr Watson. After, her discharge; she had met the man a few times outside of the Hospital grounds. But to say, she knew him well personally...well that was bit of an understatement. He was an acquaintance and she was his former patient. For a few moments, she still wondered if the man had still worked here. From what she knew; he was very dedicated. Elle couldn’t see him going else-where to find work. Sitting on one of the chairs in the waiting room. Her feet tapping nervously against the carpet. Waiting for some kind of news, about her colleagues injury.
