It had been a few days of sleeping and letting her body heal before she opened her eyes looking over to the sun as it shined through the cabin window hitting her in the face. She took a deep breath staring at the blinding light for a long time before she slowly sat up. Every inch of her ached, She moved her hand through her hair and sighed looking around the room. The chair that Dominic had been sitting in was not pushed back in its place across the room, and he was nowhere in sight.

She promised that night after Dominic and Clarissa saved her and the children she would stop putting him through things like this. She raised her hand to her chest where the bullet entered her chest. After almost dying she wasn’t even sure she wanted to leave the cabin anymore. She closed her eyes as the sound of gunshot ran in her ear and her eyes sprung open as she began to panic that there was someone else in the cabin. She reached for her phone and read the message from Dominic that read he had to go to the Ailward Manor today that he would check in on her later.

This would be the first day she would be alone in the cabin, her mother returning to her own home with a new infant to look after. The woman who gave birth to the infant died the night do to unforeseen complications no one could have saw coming. So the eerie quiet that lingered there made her feel on edge. She need to get out but she didn’t want to be out in the open she wanted to be with someone she felt safe around. Clarissa came to mind as she stood up and made her way to take a shower.

She hadn’t seen Clarissa in forever, she knew that the angel help saved her life she knew but it was only a split second before she got shot. Clarissa had called her a few times and they had spoke but it wasn’t the same as being around the dark angel. So after a quick shower, staring at her reflection for a long time at the scar that graced between her breast now, making herself conscious about her body now. She never thought herself overly attractive but now this was a whole new level of insecurity that hit her in waves.

She pulled on some clothes and then made her way outside her jacket in hand as she let her wings open and took off up towards the city out of the Therian woods making sure to keep her phone tucked into her back pocket. She landed herself just outside of the city near Rissa apartment before making the short walk there. She avoided the people on the sidewalk as if they were the black plague. Her anxiety was going through the roof and she realized maybe she should have stayed in the cabin. She reached Clarissa door shaking as she gave a sharp knock and pulled her jacket on in an effort to make herself smaller.

Upon hearing the younger Nephilim’s stance about how she viewed herself, Rissa could only exhale a little through her nostrils - a slight smile toyed on her lips in a gentle fashion. “Welcome to the supernatural world, m’love” Rissa spoke softly, yet a sense of humour certainly laced her words as she replied. “It has habit of showing you, your darker self, but once you find the balance of what this world forces upon you and how you react to it, you’ll be absolutely fine” The Nephilim reassured her, she knew all too well what it was like to feel disappointed in yourself, and to not see yourself as someone you were once; she attempted to think back to how she was a young child, before she joined the The Assassin’s League and unfortunately, she never truly had that innocence which many children had. Rissa assumed that from a young age, she always had to fight and protect herself, thus, that level of darkness and destruction was already built into her system. Clarissa reached forward and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind Siobhan’s ear. “We still think you’re okay if you’re not shiny” She mused, using the same terminology of ‘okay’ when really, Sio was more… Much, much more than okay.

It was true, now that she knew Dominic well - she really couldn’t think of any other way the two of them could have met; it was the perfect scenario, two people on opposing teams working together to protect others just like them. How the two of them ever got round to trusting the other was way beyond her. Eventually she fell silent and listened to how her favourite couple met - it seemed no one in the supernatural world really met in a normal situation; it always seemed to be somewhat dramatic. But she guessed she quite liked that, a mundane life would not be the one for her. “And that sounds like a Siobhan and Dominic way of meeting” She laughed. “With you finding yourself in a bit of a pickle” She winked before excitedly rushing the girl out of the door. “Now go, the sooner you leave, the sooner we go on holiday”

Once Siobhan had left, Clarissa hummed to herself - she didn’t really have much summer clothes; the majority of her wardrobe was black, thus, she would pack lightly and buy clothes whilst she was out there. The likelihood of her just wearing shorts and a bikini top was quite high, therefore, it really didn’t take her too long to pack the little clothing she which was appropriate. Rissa took the next hour just chilling on the sofa, waiting for the blonde to arrive; and when she did, she barely looked over the sofa but she did lift her arm up in a greeting - after all, Rissa would always make sure her home was Siobhan’s whenever she liked. “In here, watching a horror” She warned, knowing Sio wasn’t the biggest fan. “I have food being delivered, along with some wine - which is by far more important” Rissa eventually turned to look over the back of the sofa. “The countdown begins for some fun”

Siobhan let out a soft breath through her nose as Rissa wore the slightly toyed smile on her lips. It was true she had only been thrusted into the supernatural world just over two years ago. Since activating her Nephilim side things have not been easy for the young Nephilim. She was thrusted into the world at an extreme disadvantage not being trained in nephilim or fighting ways. Though training between Rissa, Jon, and Dom had made Sio a strong enough fighter to hold her own clearly. “I am not sure if I will ever learn to find balance.” The young nephilim gave a slight sigh. She was so used to having to be perfect for her mother and then spent so much of her time trying to be good enough for those around her so they didn’t see she wasn’t perfect. Maybe it was time to drop the mask and be herself; her klutzy, impelsive self. If she was being honest the facade of being perfect had been slipping some time ago. Dom had seen some of her worst sides, they had seen her impelsive side in how she did things without much thought behind it. Jon would be ashamed of her for what had just happened to her. Having no backup plan when getting in trouble.

“Guess I will have to figure out how to balance.” She gave a somber look far off thinking of how to balance her life. Maybe getting a job again and getting out of the cabin would give her more perspective on how to balance herself. Siobhan eyes focused on the woman in front of her as she tucked her hair behind her ear in such a tender moment. It cause a comfort in the Nephilim she much needed and she gave her a smile as she said she still felt she was okay even being less shiny. “I just hope everyone thinks I am okay while not being as shiny.” As they moved on to how Siobhan and Dominic met she chuckled slightly and shook her head. “I feel like all the people I have met that stayed in my life met me in such ways. Well besides us, meeting in that bar was probably the most normal meeting I have had.” she chuckled as she rushed out the door returning the wink.

When Siobhan returned to Clarissa home she looked to her bag sure she over packed it. Dominic was going to leave on a mission she told him she would call him everyday. She moved through Clarissa home to the living area where she found the dark angel watching horror TV. Truth be told Siobhan just wasn’t a huge fan of TV stuff as is but that was because of how she was raised. “How is it people can watch these things?” She asked flipping  over the couch beside her and smiled at her as she got comfy looking to the screen for a moment making a slight face. She crossed her legs one over the other actually getting lost in the scene before Rissa voice filled her ears again. “Food and Wine sounds like a good night.”

“How did packing go?” She turned her gaze back to the TV. “You should show me some classic horror movies so maybe I can understand why you like them so much.” she chuckled at her as she reached up pushing her blonde hair back. “I think not being raised with a TV makes me not understand the attraction to movies and stuff or maybe because we have been through so much horror in real life that I don’t get why you would want to watch fake horror.” she left out the fact that she thought the movies were real until Dominic explained to her that most of the stuff on TV was just smoke and mirrors.

Not many people understood why Rissa favoured horror films over any other genre; many, much like what Siobhan said was that in real like, they were surrounded by horror sometimes far greater than what Rissa would watch - and she was right. However, Rissa saw it as a means of escape, a way of dissociation as well as satisfaction; she guessed she enjoyed the mock feeling of being scared when in fact, there was nothing to be scared about - she knew she could go back to bed without knowing that monster was after her. Not only that, but she also found some of the scenes thoroughly amusing and downright hilarious - most of the writers were human and mundane, beings who had no idea of what monsters lurked in the shadows of their real world; therefore, the monsters which they made up were so ridiculous to Clarissa, that she couldn’t help but laugh. The Nephilim exhaled in slight amusement as Siobhan jumped over the back of the sofa to join her.

“Easily, because some are so far fetched, it’s more of a comedy” She replied, and glanced over to the blonde Nephilim for a brief moment to witness some of the faces she was beginning to pull at the scenes before her. “For example… IT, Pennywise the clown” Rissa went on. “Do you really think there is a Demon like being that appears every 27 years to eat children?” She waited for a moment as she knew what Siobhan could be like, especially when her imagination went wild; she could probably think that there was a possibility that this could indeed happen. “So when I think of it like that, it’s really quite funny. Although I am sure that some aspects are drawn from some folklore” Clarissa confirmed and slowly smirked at the mention of wine and food, and almost on queue, the doorbell rang. “Don’t move and don’t be afraid, ole Penny there can sense your fear” She winked at her friend and followed suit by jumping over the sofa towards the door.

“Cheers” Clarissa thanked the delivery driver and returned with one large pizza, a bottle of wine and two glasses; the last thing she wanted was for them to get completely smashed and be declined from their flight; although she had connections who could help if that did happen. “Packing happened quickly. I don’t have enough summer clothes so I packed the bare minimum” She grinned, and cracked a bottle of wine open and poured them both a glass. “In that heat, I bet I won’t be wearing much anyway” She laughed, and grabbed a slice of pizza before falling back into the comfort of the cushions once again. Clarissa attempted to swallow down her bite before replying, but it didn’t happen as politely, so she happened to respond with half a mouthful. “Being fake scared is better than being actually scared, perhaps it built up my tolerance for frightful things” She shrugged and rolled her lips in thought. “I would start you with Insidious, a classic horror in the modern day, it scared me shitless when I went to watch it in the cinema” She mused before reaching over to grab her wine, taking a much needed sip.

Siobhan leaned her head to look to Clarissa as she began to speak of how she viewed scary movies as comedy instead of horror. She pulled her blue gaze from the screen thankful to be focusing on the brunette in front of her as she began to give her lessons behind the legends of one of the more famous horror movies Siobhan had watched with Rissa in the past. She thought for a moment and gave a soft shrug “Who knows if a had some other species sick since of human and did that?” she question back as she pointed out that it could happen. Siobhan gave a chuckle and a roll of her eyes to Clarissa as she made her ponts. “I’m just saying some legends are true and I am not about to rule out some demon who eats children every 27 years.” She looked around after Clarissa left the room to make sure that they were alone before pulling the couch pillow into her lap for useless protection.

Siobhan smiled at the smell of pizza her mouth watering not remember the last time she had partaken in such food since she cooked mostly. “Oh that smells so damn good.” She said as she got up and helped her, returning to her seat as she took a sip of the wine and looked to her. “How do you, the woman who lives in work out clothes not have enough summer clothes?” she chuckled as she finished the glass before picking up a piece of pizza and taking small bites out of it as she relaxed against the cushion. She thought for a moment on how she spoke about fake scars maybe being useful. “You may be onto something with that with that. Maybe I should start watching them and try to be less scared.” She stared at the TV for a long moment. “Oh? Well I guess if it scared you, it would take my pants right off. Lets watch it… after some more wine.” She chuckled as she filled her glass again.

“You know all them boys are not gonna know what hit them when they see you almost bare.” she chuckled as she then felt her mind drift to Dom and how she hoped he was okay. “Dom is gonna wanna make sure you are keeping me safe some nights. Since what happened he is scared for me even more than before.” She filled Clarissa in, “The house has been tense, since Hannah the woman who was pregnant gave birth and died brought up a lot of memories of the captor and how that could have been me.” She gave a shuttered as she cleared his throat for a moment. “You know this will be my first time on a plan?” she asked as she tried to change the subject as she finished the piece of pizza and tucked her legs under her.

Clarissa laughed some as Sio counteracted her point and said that she would not rule out the idea of a demon resurfacing every 27 years to eat children; a coy smile found her lips. “In fact, I would love a demon to come and do that every once in a while, there are too many little shits in the world. It’s not like we’d miss them, perhaps only their loved ones” Rissa threw Siobhan a wink, they both knew she didn’t mean it, but there was a slight part of her that would find a world with less children in, more appealing. Firstly, she would not have to let them have the last scoop of ice cream in the cinema, or the last swing in the park; she could have them all to herself. The smell of pizza filled the air of her apartment as she wandered back in; it was probably one of her favourite smells, but due to her work out regime, it was only every now and again that she allowed herself such treats.

“Because if I’m not in work out clothes, I’m attending someone’s deathbed, I don’t think they would want to see me half naked there with nothing but daisy dukes and a crop top...Although..” She trailed off in thought, they would probably die happy seeing it - it would likely be their loved ones that would disapprove. “It’s a possibility if the next person ready to kick the bucket a young male, then you know” Rissa wiggled her eyebrows before digging into the pizza which was conveniently sat between the two Nephilim; she nodded a few times with a mouthful of pizza. “I would recommend it, it strangely helped me but then I’ve always been a little cold to those sort of things” She shrugged her shoulders as she realised she had never truly gone into much detail about her past before The League; unless one of her siblings had let slip, which wouldn’t have surprised her.

Clarissa snorted somewhat into her glass of wine at the comment. “And the best thing about that? I’m sure they wouldn’t even dare approach me.” She smirked. “However, don’t sell yourself short, I’m sure you’ll turn heads more than you think you will, you’ve been kissed by the sun with that hair” Rissa complimented, after all, she knew how men could be at times, especially if they were on a lads holiday; oh how she worried, considering this was the first time Sio had been on a plane. “Please don’t freak out upon take off, it’s a little different to how our own wings do it” She hesitated for a moment as the topic of the cabin was brought up.  “I can imagine he is, but he knows you’re in safe hands with me, right? And besides, who was it that saved who the last time?” She mused with a shake of her head, refilling their glasses of wine. “Time will make things better, it’s got to get dark for the sun to rise again”

Siobhan gave her a slight shake of her head as Clarissa spoke of children in such a way even though they had just saved a lot of children together recently. “Children are needed in this world. We all need that innocence far more than we know till it's gone.” She chuckled slightly as she reached up trailing her fingers through her blonde locks. As Siobhan ate on the slice for a moment when her mind wondered if the children from that night where okay. She figured that they were taken to Cornelia but still she worried about them. They had been through so much already. “Maybe less children wouldn’t be the worst thing. Less innocence to be stolen.” She grimaced for a moment as she then nibbled on the crust.

“Clarissa you could show up naked and everyone would be happy. Have you seen yourself.” She chuckled slightly as she pulled herself away from the topic of children. Siobhan gave a soft chuckle at Rissa as she wiggled her eyebrows at her talking about a young male. “Or you know stop all the killing you crazy Nephilim.” She shook her head, though sometimes she envies Rissa ability to finish the job. Siobhan herself have never been able to kill anyone even if she felt they deserved it. She should have finished Derek, he wouldn’t have shot her if she killed him first. “Izzy once told me something about how you both worked for some League.” She said softly as she looked to the TV. “Then when I asked if it was a baseball League he laughed at me and called me pumpkin.” She looked to her for a moment. “You really have never told me much about the before Evermore you. I know I was sent your way when I first came to the city after being raped by Jack to give in to my darkness and yet I don’t see that side of you.” She picked up another slice.

“You are the one wiggling your eyebrows about young boys.” she laughed as she then shook her head towards her. “Not sure if I want to be turning heads.” she chuckled and shook her head softly. “I won’t freak out I don’t think. I am sure I have been through worse than a little shaking and stuff. It's more the plunging to our death and no control over the flying thing.” She looked to her and nodded. “You are one of the only people he trusts to keep me safe. It's more my ability to end up in trouble wherever I go.” She sighed as she took a long sip from her refilled glass and nods softly. “The reality that I could have been Hannah was a lot for us both.” She swallowed softly. “I barely manage to keep Lucifer's hands off of me while he was ‘Courting’ me to marry him.” she took another sip and then looked to the TV again. “I have put him through a lot of worries.”  She admitted out loud. “We have been through a lot together.”

Clarissa noted the slight shake of Sio’s head at her previous comment of how there were just too many children in the world; of course, she had only recently saved a bunch of them, but this had happened two or so years ago, she probably may not have battered an eyelid at their safety - perhaps she wouldn’t have saved Siobhan either. “Some children are okay which I can tolerate, they are normally from the ages of 10 plus. Anything younger than that, they’re just annoying” She mused. “They can’t defend for themselves and are highly dependent on another for survival, that is too much responsibility for one to to handle” Rissa commented as she thought back to her reaction to Cornelia adopting a seventeen year old Dhampir male and how stupid she thought that was. “Dogs, however, they can depend on me as much as they want” She grinned. Her brow quirked at the more darker comment that left Siobhan’s lips and her eyebrows rose in surprise. “Where is Siobhan and what have you done with her?”

Any normal person would have blushed at the statement, but if anything it just fuelled Clarissa’s ego - not that she would let it show; instead she just grinned. “But only a handful of people see that sight, I’m very hard to get, unless I want it” Rissa grinned as she finished off the last few drops of wine, her gaze being caught by a scene on the television for a moment. “I don’t kill as often as I used to, I’ll have you know.. Plus, those withdrawal symptoms were not nice” She shook head and peeled off a slice of pepperoni and ate it; only to choke on it at her brothers comment. “Why a pumpkin?” She cleared her throat in an attempt to recover from the slice being stuck in her throat as Sio probed her about her League and before her Evermore days. “Evermore has changed me, I was ruthless and cold before - definitely not a person you would have wanted to stick around…” She drifted for a moment in thought. “But knowing you, you would have done as I think you would have probably wanted to save me”

“Whether you want to turn heads or not, will not stop them. A lads holiday is quite a sight to behold” Rissa shook her head and poured them both another glass of wine; which consequently emptied the bottle. “Well, we won’t plunge to our deaths, the other people will… At least it would be quick for them” She winked and chewed on the crust, her food baby certainly appearing. “Trouble does seem to follow you around like a bad smell, but hey, at least life is exciting for you and well.. Us” Rissa laughed and looked softly at Sio as she mentioned how the couple had gone through a lot recently. “Not many couples would have stayed together with what you have gone through so you guys are made of strong stuff” She grinned widely and glanced up at the clock. “We need to be leaving soon for the airport”

Siobhan blue hues rested on the angel for a moment as her mind filled with a few “That is the fun age after ten when you can do things with them and not worry about them getting hurt all the time.” She mused and then chuckled as she picked at the bottom of her shirt for a moment. “Clarissa do you ever see yourself as a mom? Of your own child?” She wondered if it was a thought that had been on her mind since the realization that Lucifer could have gotten her pregnant just like he did Hannah if she hadn’t been as tactful as she had been in that situation. Siobhan chuckled as she looked to the ground for a moment. “I guess Dogs are better, WeuWeu the fluffball loves me with no bounds. Following me around to make sure I am okay.” She gave a soft breath. Then looked to Rissa and sighed softly as she leaned her head down. “I guess you can say a piece of her is no longer there. I have to figure out how to make the machine shiny again.” she said gently as she reached up and tucked her own blonde locks back.

Siobhan found herself blushing at Clarissa confidence when it came to her body and how she controlled it. It brought a soft frown to Siobhan lips, the first time she sought out Clarissa it was because a man had raped her and stole her innocence that had been all her own. She wanted to feel that power, like her body was hers and only those she wished to see it would see it. Thankful the TV caught her attention in enough time to stop herself from frowning and thinking so deeply. “Withdrawal symptoms?” She asked raising a brow slightly wondering what on earth she meant by that. “I have no idea why pumpkin, something about my head shape. Your brother is a weird one.you know this.” She chuckled softly thinking about Izzy for a moment.  “I guess Evermore has a way of changing everyone doesn’t it?” She mused and looked to her as their gaze met again. “I would want to show you, that you are worth sticking around for even if you didn’t know it yourself.” She said with a gentle smile to him.

She looked to the glass as it was refilled and her hands held the wineglass in both her hands. “Well maybe just maybe I can nephy their gaze to you.” She chuckled as she took a sip for a moment as the warmth of the wine radiated through her chest. “Sometimes I forget about the wings.” She mutters softly as she relaxed into the couch. “I think mentally I could do without the trouble for a little while.” She said softly as she was no longer watching the TV as she embraced the warmth of the alcohol. She thought about Dom for that moment and felt the smile to her lips as she thought about the man who was a big part of her life. She hoped Rissa was right and that they would stay strong and figure things out together.  She looked to the clock and then down the last of her wine quickly. “Thank goodness for nephy healing or I would be drunk for days.” She giggled as she gave a little hiccup.

That certainly was not a question that Clarissa was expecting, and truly, it was a question she had never had to answer; at least out loud to another being. Of course, there were times when she questioned herself about whether the assassin life was for her and if it was what she actually wanted to do; but once in the grasp of The League, it was incredibly hard to get out of so she always shrugged away any concept of her own family; besides herself and now, her siblings. "I er.. well" Rissa choked on her words. "I guess not. I mean, why would I have ever wondered that? The lifestyle I had meant I couldn't even hold down a serious relationship with another so the idea of my own child never really crossed my mind." She shook her head. "Believe me, I've had my fair share of scares though" Rissa mused before coughing. "Well that is enough emotion for the evening" The Nephilim shuddered, before grinning at the concept of dogs. "We never deserved dogs, and I don't think we ever will" Rissa smiled fondly despite the next slice of pizza heading towards her mouth.

Clarissa leaned back into the sofa and casually kicked her feet up on the coffee table; and once again, found herself talking with her mouthful. God, she needed to find her manners. "Yeah, withdrawals from killing" She swallowed her bite. "Really sucked having to behave like a normal citizen, felt like a lion in a cage. I can't imagine how Izzy felt, he was far, far worse than I." It was true, and even now, nearly three years later, the urge to kill always scratched away beneath her skin; she would never be able to outrun her past. "Take Pumpkin and leave it, the filth that comes out of his mouth would even make the devil drink holy water" Rissa winked at the blonde before her before shaking her head ever so slightly; a brief sigh escaped her, it was what she adored about Sio - she always saw the best in others, even if it was minuscule. "Thing is, you wouldn't have even gotten the chance to try. I would have ran, just like I did whenever someone new entered my life" It was a sad tale, one of loneliness but it was what made her who she was and well, there was no changing the past.

A low hum vibrated from her chest. "If you even try and play cupid, I swear their attention will be the least of your worries" She shot Sio a warning albeit playful glare before nodding in agreement. "I think we all can, Evermore is the beacon of chaos which I guess satisfies me a little" She laughed and sat forwards to follow suit and down the half full glass of wine. "You have a holiday to get that drunk" She wiggled her brow before glancing at Siobhan as the girl hiccuped; should she give her a pat on the back? Help get the air out? Rissa shook her head at the thought, and placed her now empty glass down fairly aggressively upon the table before standing. "I'll clear it up when we get back, or get Izzy to… No doubt he'll crash here with his latest fling" She muttered and moved around the sofa to grab her jacket and shoes. Clarissa noticed how Siobhan lingered on her sofa for a moment, and she understood why but this Nephilim would not let the other dwell with their demons, so naturally, to cut the tension and to bring Siobhan out of her thoughts; Rissa made a racket by clapping her hands loudly. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon. Let's get a movin' - the plane ain't gonna wait forever" She smirked.

Siobhan watched Clarissa with her blue eyes, taking in how she hesitated and choked on her words to get them out, as if trying to find the proper words. She tilted her head to the side for a moment before asking, “Yes your life before but we are immortal Clarissa. What about now though? I know you are not like in anything serious for I recall as of recent. Yet you never know, maybe I am saying think about it sometime. I wouldn’t mind us having little babies run around with each other down the line.” She smiled to her softly at the thought of a little blondie and brownie running around together. “I can’t ever turn off my emotions Rissa. You know this.” She pointed out to the Nephilim. She giggled lightly as she thought about her big mastiff at home. “We don’t the sweetest little beans.” She muttered with a gentle smile on her face. Knowing the dog was just as worried about her as even Dominic was when she was laying in bed showing no signs of waking up.

“I’m sorry you felt like you were in a cage.” It was a feeling she knew before working with Issac. “Izzy was worst? Izzy who let me put his hair into space buns and place flowers in them?” she tried to picture either of the Bradfords killing and yet her brain couldn’t seem to be able to process it. “I can’t picture either of you as assassins if I am being totally honest with you. My brain just nopes it out of their thoughts.” Siobhan raised a brow and tried to think of Izzy as one with a dirty mouth again it was hard. He always seemed to be on his best behavior around the blonde. “Am I the only person he is saint around?” she gave a playful pout. “I can be filth also.” then chuckled at the way it sounded leaving her lips. Then she turned serious for a moment. “What about now though? You no longer seem to be running away from my friendship. Even taking me way to the sun and fun.” she took her hand and gave it a light squeeze. “No running, I will hunt you down.”

Sio gave a raise of her brow and smirked “Okay okay just a lovely girls trip and no playing cupid.” She then shook her head for a moment. “Has it always been chaos or did the chaos follow someone like myself.” She wondered for a moment and then moved to stand up as she said that she would leave the mess for her brother. “Least he could do is pick up after us then if he is gonna get some women all over the place.” She laughed deeply for a moment as she pulled back on her shoes steadying herself against the wall for a moment and licked her lips. “I’m coming, I’m coming.” she said while she picked her bag up and moved with Clarissa out to the car sitting there waiting to take the pair to the airport. Tossing her bags in the back she slides into the back seat and got comfy closing her eyes for a brief moment. Before she knew it they were at the airport getting through security and finally sitting down to wait to board.

It was conversations like these that made the dark haired Nephilim feel a little uneasy; the whole concept for a family was foreign for her for the majority of her life - at least 29 years of it. It has only been in the last two years had she found family and people to call her friends; thus, when she did think about a family of her own now that she was a different person it was still incredibly hard. Clarissa shrugged her shoulders. “Maybe in the future, life has a funny way of throwing curve balls” She laughed. “But if it happens, I want it to happen at a good time, so that the child gets the upbringing that I never got” She spoke honestly, perhaps that was another reason why she was scared to even think of the possibility of her own children, what if she made the same mistakes as her Foster Parents? What if she turned out to be like Abraxas? Rissa shuddered at the thought before smiling, with a slight shake of her head of imagining the two of them having children at the same time.

“You shouldn’t apologise for that” Clarissa responded. “We chose to leave that lifestyle behind us to find our family, there were always going to be downfalls. And one of them was the freedom we had to be ourselves when in The League” She smiled, although freedom definitely was subjective at times. Rissa watched at the surprise that filtered across Siobhan’s face as she tried to comprehend that Izzy was far worse than Rissa was before they arrived in Evermore CIty. “Yep, that Izzy he was one of the best Assassin’s, he kept to himself and got the job done. A lot of people feared but respected him” She smiled fondly at the memory, and how often she would pick on him, even before they found out they were related. “On our first mission together, before the realisation hit that we were twins, he absolutely hated my guts. He would have thrown me under the bus just to save his own ass” She sucked on her teeth at the thought, but in all honesty; she would have done the same if the opportunity arose to leave with her life. Clarissa quirked a brow at the idea of Siobhan being filth as well, and it didn’t sit well in her stomach; she liked the idea of the blonde Nephilim being innocent in almost every possible way.

“Maybe because I want to finally have a home, and well, I guess that includes making some kind of friendships” She winked at her honorary sister before grabbing all the necessary items to leave for the taxi which waited outside. “I think chaos follows everyone in this city, so together we can make it our own personal hell” She laughed before grinning at the idea of Isaiah cleaning up. “He doesn’t like bringing them to his place, in case they get obsessive over him, which is very reasonable, to be fair. His psychotic ways must be very appealing” She rolled her eyes as they jumped into the taxi which eventually took them to the airport; the two swiftly went through security and boarded the plane with ease. As the two sat down, she allowed Siobhan to have the window seat and she grinned. “This is by far the best part of flying, mainly because you get to watch the expressions of those that absolutely hate it”
