Svetlana had been standing in front of the bathroom sink, gazing into the mirror at a girl she was barely familiar with. The Russian Nephilim hadn't been living with Thaddeus long, but it had been just long enough for her to take a strong liking to him. Svet had always assumed that she'd lack trust for the Valkyr faction as a whole, after what her life had become beacuse of rogues. But, that was until she learned the difference between rogue Vampires, and Valkyr. Valkyr's were normally protective species, and rogue Vampires were what a Valkyr turned into when blood addiction got a hold of them. With being hunted for her whole life by them, there wasn't anything she hadn't learned.

Svetlana swiped her hand across the steamed up mirror and continued getting ready. The Russian angel had adapted to a new routine, both inside the INN and outside on the streets. Her routine in the INN consisted of spending time getting to know Thaddeus, while on the outside of the haunted motel, Svetlana spent her time setting a sadistic Valkyr's victims free. Svet knew she was playing with fire, and she couldn't say she wasn't scared of being seen by him someday. As fucked up as it sounded though, she had began enjoying herself with this prick.

Today was no different. Svetlana had left the INN after leaving a note for Thaddeus that she was going out for some fresh air, and made her way to the city, lurking around all the dark corners and alley way's where she typically found him targeting his prey. After stepping into the bar to grab a drink, the Nephilim exited out the back, and for what felt like ages, she stood by a dumpster in an alley, posted up on the brick wall, waiting to strike yet again.

A sinister smirk adorned her features when he finally came out for his every night normal meal. And from what Svetlana had seen, he had one hell of an apatite when it came to blood. She only allowed him to go so far, before using her ability to inflict pain on him, simply by using her mind. A Nephilim possessed the gift to make people feel as if they were suffocating, or even losing their mind with this ability, but Svet always went the same route every time. She started by using the ability to make it feel as if the air in his lungs was slowly leaking out, just before inflicting pain, enough that it likely felt as if his head would explode. This always set his targets free, able to run and protect themselves.

After the male (Phoenix) picked his target for the moment, Svet crossed her arms, and watched curiously. She guessed if she were a Valkyr, with a soul as dark as hers was, then she'd probably have a lot in common with this guy. As a Nephilim, she was meant to be a light being. But not Svet, her mind was flooded by the craving of spilling blood. The blood of those who had taken quite literally everything away from her. There was constantly a dark cloud hanging over Svet's head, and after all the bodies she had left in her wake the day she managed to escape the compound they held her prisoner in, she had been craving blood shed ever since.

That same dark feeling rushed back over her with this male she was currently staring at from a distance. Svetlana managed to always find herself just inches from him though, but hidden well enough that he hadn't seen her yet. She knew it was only a matter of time before he caught her, and she wasn't sure what would happen when he did. However, this had been a fun game, so she figured she'd enjoy it while it lasted. It amused her to see the look of utter confusion on his face after she would inflict pain on him, and his victim would run away.

The Russian angel had been doing just that, grinning proudly when his current victim ran for the hills, but when Svetlana's foot acidentally kicked an empty pop can, she tensed as much as a person's body could tense. Hoping like hell he wouldn't find her.

Svetlana had always been a risk taker, especially after gaining her freedom back and escaping the compound. She hadn't really known what living meant from the time she'd been born up until age 14, and age 14 had been the unfortunate day she'd been captired by the rogue organization. From age fourteen to age eighteen, Svetlana was a prisoner to a group of sadistic, Nephilim hating bastards, and she had been free for quite some time now, so years later, Svetlana had begun 'living' or at least trying to, with the exception of constantly looking over her shoulder for those who remained of the rogues. Svet had managed to slay an entire compound except 2-3 .. those 2-3 rogues had made it a point to re-group, and track the Russian down to Evermore. She'd been attacked several times now, even with Dom by her side.. but he never had given up on her. To this day, the guilt of the Therian's that'd laid down their lives for Svet, ate her alive. It was something she desperately wanted to escape ...

This Valkyr she was currently inflicting pain upon, had in some sick way, became just that for the Russian Angel. An escape. The sudden whisk of night time air enveloped Svetlana, causing her short, tomboy styled hair to fly out of place. The Nephilim's heart raced, and just for a second, time stood still as she dared to glance over her shoulder. This was a creature that could easily give her a run for her money should things become aggressive or psychical. Svet had seen first hand what this species could and would do.. it normally didn't end any other way for a Nephilim facing off with one of them. But she did have to keep in the back of her mind, that this one hadn't slipped completely into blood lust yet, which meant he could be redeemed .. maybe.

His words rolled out calmly, almost too calm in Svet's opinion. The Nephilim refused to even so much as blink right now, and kept her expression and posture as collected as she could as she finally looked up, meeting the eyes of a man she'd been provoking for months now. "I have no idea what you're talking about.." she started off, at first, playing the whole 'dumb' role as if she had no idea what he meant. "I'm glad that one got away .. I'm not always fast enough to stop you from making a meal out of innocent people, but it's rewarding when I am" she finally admitted, her features adorning a coy smirk as she stepped up closer to him, her chest visibly rising and falling at the speed of someone who was clearly intimidated, but it didn't cause her to back down either.

"Don't you know what could happen to you if you keep eating innocent bystanders?" she then asked, figuring he knew indeed, but just didn't care. Svetlana could feel herself shaking, and she just knew if this turned into a psychical altercation, that her life might end right here this very night. The Nephilim couldn't help but chuckle sarcastically at his last little comment about it not being nice to mess with a man's food.

"If you're hungry, I'll buy you a burger.." she responded back, her dry sense of humor, and utter sarcasm lacing her tone in that instance. "What about anything that you've been doing seems okay enough to you, to keep doing it?" she then asked out of pure curiosity, hoping for a genuine answer. If Svetlana got her way with this man tonight, she'd lure him back to a quiet place she knew about, where she had a few hopes and dreams of turning the place into a place for Valkyr who'd lost their way, and save them before they turned into soulless monsters.
