Lana wasn't at all stable, most of the time she'd woke up in a clammy sweat, shaking all over. But being held captive by a bunch of Therians, Vampires, and Phoenix's as a young child had haunted her to this day, it's something she'd never shake. They had intended on killing her the same way they'd killed her father right in front of her. But, in doing so, she got angry enough to free herself from the chains keeping her bound to a cold rock and left a trail of bodies on her way out. Lana had killed over a dozen people that day, and she didn't even feel remorse over it. They deserved it. But, she needed to seek help, and as she drove past a particular building where they had group meetings for people with issues, she pulled in quickly.

Lana walked in and sat in one of the many chairs lined around in a circle with the dr standing in the middle talking about self-hate and learning how to move past that in order to obtain a healthy lifestyle. Svetlana rolled her eyes. "Lana, since you seem so happy to be here, you can start off the introductions" Standing from her seat, she inhaled deeply. This was certainly out of her comfort zone. But, she began. "Hi, my name is Svetlana, a mouth full, I know, so call me Lana." it was evident she wasn't comfortable with this, especially with the asshole (Nate) in the back silently mocking every word she said.

She continued however. "I was held captive for a very long time, and I watched my fathers head get cut off right in front of me. It sparked a rage in me that scared me. But, it made me strong enough to kick out of the chains that were binding me. I killed an entire building of people while making my way to the exit, and since then I wake up screaming and crying. It haunts me everyday. Also; I'm an alcohol."

She finished and most of the people clapped for her bravery on telling her story. All but one, he smirked instead (Nate). Dr. Fitzgerald applauded her, and seen the male in the back smirking. "Okay NAthaniel, it's your turn" he said in a kind tone. Lana brushed past him, using the same smirk he'd been using while she had been talking. After taking a seat, she waited for the arrogant male to talk. Perhaps he wouldn't seem as cocky after he talked about why he was there. OR maybe he'd make a joke of this which would really piss Lana off.

Svetlana was truly annoyed with the Dhampir. How could he take these peoples heart breaking lives and make it a joke, hell he had nearly laughed at her when telling her own story. Lana listened to him speak as if his life was perfect, saying that his life was perfect and he enjoyed hearing those who had horrific lives. Little did he know, Lana wasn't referring to her past, she had a secret council after her to end her life the same way they had her fathers, "Jerk" she muttered loud enough for him to hear her.

"Your life is masked by various one night stands, if Dhampirs could get STD's im sure you'd be infested" she commented again and the doctor asking her to hush and let him continue. Lana sat in her chair gazing at Nate, she could see the appeal, but his attitude made anything attractive about his fade to nothingness each time hee opened his mouth. His life was fab? She chuckled and began balling paper up, flicking it at him. "Stop pretending" she said, smirking. This man had a true problem and even the dr noticed with the facial expressions. Perhaps he just didnt want to admit he had a problem.

As he sat back down, saying that's it. And, that he was ready to hear the misery other people went through, she glared at him. "You are no saint. Why cant you just be honest?" she asked trying to get to know him. "And theres no way that you actually wallow in other peoples pain. She continued talking to him while others stood to talk. just for the sake of fun, she glared at the Dhampir, making it so he felt like he was suffocating just by using her mind. Grinning as she let him lose from that. "Don't ever laugh at me again" she stated. and folded her arms over her chest stretching her legs out in front of her.

Nate had spread various reactions across everyone else's features. Lana had however became fascinated with the male who seemed to despise therapy. A smirk played on her features as she leaned back in her chair, watching him with an intrigued expression adorning her features. Although she had called him a jerk, she'd now changed her mind about the vain asshole. She didn't understand why he was so closed off, but she knew how it felt to have been through a big ordeal enough to where it'd close a person off from feeling human feelings, to care.

"Sorry to burst your arrogant bubble, but I don't live the 21st century life style, I don't indulge in the shitty wordly activites like you do. I'm a home body" she stated with an eye roll. How  this man relished in one night stands was byond her, Lana like most normal women longed for the day she could settle with just one man, but who was she to judge? When she went to the bars to get her father off her mind, she didn't mind going home with whatever hot guy approached her, some even got attached, and she there them out the next day letting them know she was only after one night stands.

As he then said he never said he was a saint she gritted her teeth and the purple tinge in her eyes took over the normal chocolate hues. With the flick of her wrist, she discreetly used her Nephilim gifts, to make the cocky asshole seem like he was choking and gasping for air. Smiling she stood before him acting as if she was doing njothin wrong, however, she'd only hoped it would work on his kind. She knew that Vampire and Nephilim's powers didn't work that well against each other, but he was a Dhampir, she knew that the human within him would feel everything she was doing.

Her purple tinge suddenly faded and the gift of making him feel as though he was suffocating faded, as he began speaking. She smirked .. his story was compelling until she heard him call her pathetic. "I could snap you, like a twig" she bitterly said in her Russian tongue. "Don't provoke a woman just saw her fathers head roll" she added, after pushing against him, no tears to be shed this time, she was truly only angry with him. "Your time will come, Dhampir" she made sure her use of words were in whispers for his Dhampirc hearing. After she let the air flow back into his lungs she gave the same joyful grin. "More where that came from.. we should accompany each other in a secluded alley, i'd love to snatch your tongue out"

"The few times i took your breath away should be enough for you to know... don't screw with me Nathaniel" she pressed herself against him one more time, "I mean..." she cut off rolling the tips of her fingers down his toned masculine chest "your hot and all, but ill still destroy you" she whispered, nipping his earlobe before the counsiler of the group meetings walked over to them "I want you two out of here..NOW!" the man epressed .. Lana smirked and flicked her wrist again keeping the purple in her eyes at bay, unsure if the counsler was human or not, keeping her species hidden but able to take him down as well, and walked out with him lying on the floor suffocating, tugging the Dhampir along with her.

Svetlana gave the Dhampr an eye roll grinning nonetheless. This was beyond banter now, she could actually feel her blood boiling at his arrogant comments. But, she rolled with it. It's not like she had much to do when she got home, so she damn sure wasn't in a rush to get there. One way or another, she was going to prove a point to this vindictive man. "Because ive not got to live the rich and pretty lifestyle that you have, put a small damper in me learning how to use technology, but extinct?" she questioned laughing at the way he assumed to know anything about her.

Svetlana had lost her sanity years ago. To her it seemed perfectly sane to take down an enemy no matter where she was at; after slaughtering an entire group of rogues who wanted to kill her the same way they had done her father, Svet let nothing to chance. If someone seemed like they'd harm her, she harmed them first. Nathaniel, this Dhampir asshat was no exception. She couldn't deny how intrigued she became by him though, when he continued to provoke her even after she'd snatched the wind from his lungs.

Glaring at him, the Nephilim gave an eye roll, shaking her head. "It's cute that you assume they're empty threats" she responded quickly. It was easy finding words to speak with him. Svet had a hard time holding conversation with some people she'd known for years now, but with the Dhampir, her  come backs matched the speed of lightning. "As for your doctor friend, she won't be able to patch you up when i'm finished. Can she really patch a broken mind?" she questioned, arching a brow. Svetlana maybe hadn't even so much as finished school before her Nephilim powers kicked in, marking her an immortal, and before she got out of her teenage years, but over the years and all the time she spent in the shadows hiding, she'd made the most of it, and became a sponge with knowledge. She absorbed as much of it as she could she knew how to mentally shatter someone with just the gift of knowing how to string the right words together.

Svet smirked at the male that Nathaniel now stood apologizing too, and promising that Svet wouldn't return. Because he had also turned around and said something snarky about his diploma needing updated, how could she not smirk at that? Once they were outside of the building, Svet glared a hole through the Dhampir before sparking up a cigarette. She couldn't help but laugh though, immortal's didn't have much of a tolerance to things.. not a low one especially, which made her want to believe that her smoking habit had never been an adicitive one as much as it had been one she'd picked up due to boredom and depression. "So, what now city boy? We're outside, and can do pretty much anything our hearts desire" she stated; giving him the opportunity to do what he probably wanted to earlier when she had snatched his breath away. "Don't hold back, from whatever it is you wanna do" she added before flicking the cigarette that only now remained as the end of the filter out into the streets.

"I'm sorry. Is that littering?" she asked, and glanced over to the alleyway beside them as the sounds of a womans screams echoed out into the streets. Arching a brow, Svet looked to Nate. "That sounds painful, should we go help her? She sounds like she's in danger" the Nephilim expressed, with a look of concern on her features. This was the first time since meetin Nate that Svet didn't look mean or agressive, and that her features had finally softened. Being a female victim of many things herself, when she heard another in trouble, she felt almost obligated to help.

His words seemed to come out extra slow, and the more he spoke, the more pissed Svetlana let herself get. She couldn't fault the bratty spoiled Dhampir for her temper. That was all her. The things he was saying, were probably things that wouldn't infuriate normal people in the way it had Svetlana. She knew she needed to reach out to her ambassador about how she'd fallen into the darkness again, and quickly, because this scenario only proved what Svetlana feared most; that she truly had lost herself. She was fully aware that the humans in the room, didn't deserve the chaos that was soon to unfold if her and Nathaniel hadn't been kicked out of the meeting all together. That was probably best.

Svetlana clung onto his every word though. She'd be lying if she said he wasn't effecting her. But, the smirk on his lips kinda let her know that's exactly what he was aiming for. It was true that Svetlana was driven by darkness, and hatred from the events that took place in her past, and it was also true that she was afraid to reach out and try to take control of her life. But the only way she could do that, was to kill the rogues who currently controlled her life. Svetlana frowned, but out of his eye sight, he certainly didn't need to see her frowning and have his ego boosted any larger than it already was.

Svetlana felt like knocking him out when he then said 'cute trick' and somehow, this Dhampir seemed to embrace bad things. She supposed it made him pretty invincible to people's assaults on him, which played well for him she guessed. Shaking her head, she decided to mask her rage with a grin, giving him a nod of acknowledgement. Thats all she could do for now. She would hit him where it hurt, when she figured out how to. Sadly she'd already let him see what her weakness was. Words. Cruel ass, petty words. Svetlana at times, let the things people say, eat away at her. It may of sounded insane, but she was the type who preferred being beat to death over top of things people could say that caused harm. Wounds on the flesh would heal, even if a scar remained afterwords, but sometimes scars left on your heart, never would heal.

"Don't worry city boy. I'll impress you when you least expect it" she said in a clam manner, hoping it wasn't too late to pull herself back from the words he'd already spoken to her. Because they did cut pretty deeply. Svetlana arched a brow, she was thankful she still had a mouthful of smoke, since he so kindly snatched her cigarette. When he put it out, the Nephilim blew the last of her smoke in his breathing space, and rolled her eyes "You're awfully judgy for a man" she then said. She typicaly wasn't rude, but then again, she typically didn't encounter someone that she had no choice with. With Nate, she had to give him what he gave her.. she treated others the way they treated her, so poor Nate wouldn't stand a chance unless he stopped.

Svetlana glared at Nathaniel when he sighed. He seemed almost pained by the request to go help the other female. "Youll get over it.. maybe we can do something more fun later.. just help me first" she expressed, wondering what his idea of fun was, but she pretty much got the feeling.. especially since he was a bachelor that had women constantly swooning over him. Even at that meeting, half of them were to busy drooling to get the help they needed. "If you will that is" she chuckled, knowing how big a stretch it was to get him some place more isolated. A part of her was dying to get to know him. Someone like Nate was a project for someone like Svetlana. But some people could never be fixed, and she allowed herself to realize that, in order to keep herself from going overboard on trying. After jogging a good distance with him, there laid a woman in a puddle of her own blood., with a dark hooded figure over top of her.  Svetlana froze, and time had stopped, or so it felt. Anyone dangerous would still run away when being caught doing something like this, but the figure over top of the woman seemed starved, and he fed from the woman without even letting Nate and Svet's presence phase him.

She then looked to Nathaniel with desperation in her eyes, hoping he could do something. More so, she just hoped this woman was still alive. Svetlana knew she'd have to fight now, having Nephilim powers with the strength and abilities that came with that, wouldn't allow Svetlana to just walk away, knowing she could help. But if this was some derranged Supernatural under some kind of influence by something darker, then her and Nate could be in a bit of trouble now.

"Good boy" she stated, reaching over to pat his shoulder as he said he would count on it. Honestly, Svetlana wouldn't have minded getting to know him outside of his comfort zone. A situation where he would have to use more than his sarcasm and charm to make it through. Then, and only then, would Svetlana see him for who he truly is. For who he seemed to be upn arriving to a group meeting, where she first met him; a place where people went to get help for their issues. Not to go and say they lived a perfect life like he did. She was sure that, that, was just a mask though. Someone like Nate probably never allowed his emotions to break through the surface.

Holding a finger up to make hand gestures, the Russian Nephilim sighed "I know so. But you're not fooling me Nathaniel. There has to be a reason for it.. and for why you act the way you do towards others.. specifically those who probably just want to be good to you" and she knew that was a bold statement towards a man she meant nothing to, but Svetlana was honest, no matter what she was talking about. If she had something in mind, she wasn't the type to bottle it up.

Svet's eyes widened with his response "Seriously?" she asked, frowning some. "I may be an immortal being, who could probably handle it by herself indeed, but that doesn't mean I want to, or that i'm not afraid of running into certain danger," she replied with a tone of sadness playing with her voice. Surely he couldn't be this harsh of a person. Brash seemed to be his middlee name, and she'd be surprised if it actually wasn't. Ripping half of her flannel sleeve off, Svetlana tied it around the wounds on her wrist as tightly as she could, before tearing another piece off, and cleaning her neck. Using the gift of Clairsentience, Svetlana held her hand over the females neck, and the other on her wrist, closing her eyes so that the sudden purple tinge didn't scare her. Clairsentience gave Nephilim's a way to either inflict pain, or take it away, which in this case, Svetlana used it to take paina way from someone who didn't deserve it.

As Nate slyly talked to the blood addicted Valkyr, the Nephilim arched a brow. "I don't get why ECPD don't have supernatural holding cells. A place to hold supernaturals who commit acts of violence like this.." she spoke softly, but it pissed the Valkyr off enough for him to flash his fangs at Svetlana. "Go ahead, have a taste." she dared him, flashing her purple tinged eyes his way, so he would at least have the knowledge that it was a Nephilim he was picking a fight with. Much to her surprise, it calmed him enough that he didn't attack again. "What do we do now? This one needs a hospital, unless you know how to do stitches, and well.. we obviously sholdn't leave that maniac running loose" she whispered, and signaled for Nate to switch her places. She'd put the Valkyr out long enough for them to get away from him with the wounded female at least. Gideon Ashworth could handle the rest with the savage Valkyr.

Svetlana wasn't invincible though. This was about to get a little messy for her. She'd have to fight one hell of a battle to put him out, but that's the only logical plan she had. Well, this had certainly ruined her plans at getting to know the Dhampir else where. Something about him made her tick, and she needed to know what it was. Perhaps it was just her knowing there was more to him than the mask he used, and that made Svetlana want to dig a little deeper, so she'd have to try again once all the dust settled with their current situation.
