It was only Mirae's second week of owning her own herb shop, one that had a private room in the back so she could use her healing techniques on those who needed her services. Business had been painfully slow today, slow enough for Mirae's past to echo in her mind. Long ago before Coldren's dead body had been laid before Mirae and the rest of their clan, he had punished Mirae for daring to stand against him by forcing the young girl to work in an apothacary. With working in the apothacary, Mirae had found a passion for healing people, and eventually learned how to make her own herbs, herbs that people found very useful. But, Anivia was also the bright side of working there, Mirae had been her voice of reason and guidance when she needed it, which soon formed a friendship between the two.
The bell above the door however rang Mirae right out of thought, her gaze averted to the male who walked in with the most intense features she'd seen yet. Standing at least 6 feet tall or better, dressed in nothing but leather, Mirae couldn't help but fall distracted with what she was doing. Before he'd walked in, Mirae was attempting to mix a new herb, one that would help with burns from ice and fire that many inocents fell victim to during times of war between the species. After she'd dropped the mixture though, and the bottle shattered, her dark hues lifted from the floor, and over the counter top to the male's brown optics. Her gaze averted to his arms however, when she noticed the sleeves of ink he had, becoming quite fascinated with a man she had never spoken too. Mirae had seen him around town several times before, but never had she analyzed his striking features until now, and she almost wished she hadn't.
Making her way out from behind the counter, where a shattered bottle now littered the floor, Mirae approached him, blushing heavily as she did so. She couldn't help but chuckle since he towered over her by about 2 feet at least, her eyes sat directly on his toned chest, before she gazed up towards his eyes, eyes so brown and deep that she could have swore he was staring into her soul, "Is there anything I can help you with, or are you just here out of curisoty?" she asked, distraction evident in the way she spoke, but Mirae proceeded anyways. "Business has been extremely slow today, so i'd be GLAD to help you with something" she then added, shaking her head slightly. Mirae sighed softly before gazing around to the shack sized herbal shop, sometimes she felt as though she didn't do enough to keep the place afloat, but she also knew there wasn't much else she could do, being a female who had hardly any connections in a city this big made it difficult to run a business.
Mirae only assumed that the male standing 6 ffet tall, didn't need anything from here, that he probably came upon the place by complete accident, and even if that was the case, she was happy that someone even darted the door way. With blushing cheeks and big bright brown eyes, she glanced up to him once more. "Sorry, my name is Mirae, i'm not exactly the best when it comes to social skills" she stated, grimacing as she glanced back down to the floor.

Blushing heavily the young female chuckled, shaking her head "Yes i'm fine, apologies for startling you" she stated, almost embarrassed at how clumsy she was when someone like this man approached her. Mirae grinned brightly though when he offered a faint smile and slid his way past the counter to offer a helping hand. "Thank you so much, but ive got it, i'd feel even worse if you wound up cut or something by my mess" she added, inhaling deeply.
As Mirae glanced down towards the male's hands, seeing a list of some sort. "Oh, so I guess you are here for herbs then huh?" she asked, almost shocked since he didn't seem like the type of male to be out shopping for such things. Mirae gestured with her hand for him to walk with her, which led the two of them to the back. Once they'd gotten to the back room, where Mirae mixed her herbs up, she reach her hand out for the list, while eyeing the male before her and chewing on her lower lip as anxiety coursed through her.
On any occasion, Mirae was a distracted, loud, intimidating person by nature so she hoped that she'd be able to keep this business of hers steady and not watch it slip through the cracks due to her negative qualities in her personality. Mirae had found peace when she played music, and with that, she had always kept an ipod full of her favorite songs hooked up to a bluetooth speaker, she was probably only one of very few who owned things like a cell phone, ipod, tablet, laptop etc, she enjoyed technology and the pleasures it gave. While waiting for the male who she knew at this point was also a fellow Niveis to respond with what he needed, she hummed along to the song playing.
Music helped with the distraction, and it also helped and motivated her to work. Mirae sat out a few mixing containers, and the chemicles needed to mix whatever she'd need to. Normally, she had to admit, she slacked when it came to having herbs people needed already mixed and on the shelves out in the front, and that was due to the countless times in the past that people came in and just took what they needed without paying, which was sometimes okay back then. Mirae had seen many poor people who were very sick and couldn't afford to pay for them, especially during times of war, that was when herbal shops were filled to compacity with people either needing herbs or Mirae's kind to heal them.
"I don't think we've ever met, I'm Mirae" she then said, offering a bright smile as she hummed and danced around the tables that she was currently setting things on while she prepared to get his order ready. "I'm guessing someone sent you. Anivia?" she finished off, smirking. She hadn't seen Anivia in some time now, but just before the beginning of their new era, her and Anivia had became extremely close, and she knew right off the bat that Anivia was one for herbs, and knew that she was probably the one who'd sent this man out for the items he needed.
