Growing up, Sky never really had time to herself. Ravencry was raising the best assassins in the world, and having "free time" wasn't really an option as the children dedicated their time to be the best in the league. Even once she was an assassin, she didn't really opt to explore the many places she was sent to: it was always in and out, her focus solely on the mission. It was only the Guard where she discovered the wonders of the world. She owed that to Milo and Aurantia---if it weren't for them, she might have just found comfort staying in the castle, reading whatever mystery novel she could get her hands on.

Before she left the Guard, however, there were a few times where she'd accompanied Ailward Aspects to Evermore City---that's how she knew about the supernatural haven. As a personal guard, however, she had accompanied Aurantia wherever she went, including up certain hiking trails. It was Tia who truly showed Sky the beauty of nature, and because of that, Sky would always have the Aspect in her mind whenever she chanced upon a new trail. Today was such a day, when the angel-child found herself walking in the woods when she happened to stumble into a clearing. A nostalgic smile tugging her at her lips, she continued to explore, purple tinted optics  flashed from left to right, observing her surroundings diligently.

It took her a while to notice, but the path started to become more and more familiar. Creased formed across her brow, the angel child trying to put the pieces together in her mind to figure out where she was. It was only when she reached a frozen stream that she realised it: Tia had brought her here, saying she wanted to show her Guard her favourite spot in the woods. Usually, the thought of any of the Ailwards sparked angry and hatred in the mercenary, but there was something about this space and the memories it held that instead incited sadness deep in her core.

Pursing her lips, the woman slipped her hands out of the pockets of her black pea coat, booted feet crunching against the blanket of snow cast around the area as she sat on top of a rock. She brought one of her legs to her chest, her chin resting atop her knee. Her eyes fluttered to a close, the woman taking in deep breaths of the cool winter air. A few moments passed, the Nephlim relishing in the solitude. However, that didn't last long. A familiar aura caught at her attention, the former-assassin's eyes snapping open. It was too late for her to bolt and avoid her: the aura was so close to her. So instead, she opted to glare at the trail, her expression as cold as the winter breeze that swirled around them as Tia approached. "Don't tell me you followed me," she growled at the Aspect, her former friend. "What are you doing here?" As soon as the question left her lips, Sky regretted it--it was Tia who showed her this spot to begin with. That being said, she maintained her glare, wanting nothing more than to run far, far away.
