Momma! Momma! Momma! Where are you?” Cristiano called out towards her, Carmela turned in circles only being able to see utter darkness. She went to scream out but no voice left her throat. Her hand shot to her neck as she began to cough up dirt. Gasping and struggling for air jolted the Aurazin awake as she gasped for air. The nightmares of not being able to get to Cristiano had been frequent. She needed to get some form of proper sleep, but being trapped in Evermore, no way through the veil, was driving her mad.

As she sat up her eyes drifted towards the window of her room in the Aurazin home. The room was small, they all where but It was more than she needed. A place to lay her head, though sleep seemed utterly impossible at this point anymore. As her eyes focused on the night outside of the window she noticed the lights casting a glow upon the outside, it was clear that someone was awake. She rose to her feet, her long pale nightgown hitting mid shin. Her mind wondering if whomever it was had coffee, maybe something sweet even. Though she knew she shouldn’t eat such things.

She found herself wondering through the halls of the home. She wondered if whomever it was had nightmares like she was having. As she came around the corner seeing the glow from the kitchen/dining area she paused in the frame way. Her eyes landed on Lucian who stood in the middle of the room with a paper in his hand. She raised a brow towards him, she seem to have gone unnoticed to him. So she cleared her throat as she leaned against the frame of the doorway.

“Hey, I couldn’t sleep and saw the lights on. Do you have coffee? Or you know… Something sweet.” She said the last part in a joking tone but really after the nightmares she could go for something that would ease the pain even if it was addictive to them. “Nightmares have been constant.” She said softly to her leader, He was one that understood, since his wife was locked in the veil. It had been a year since the veil closing and it seemed they where no closer to getting back there then the day they were trapped here.

Luke smirked at her suggestion, lowering his own voice and leaning towards her in a conspiratorial manner. "Oh, you speak of such scoundrel behavior, Miss Carmela." He chuckled as they came into the next room that was significantly smaller than the grand entrance and lobby they'd come through, large sections of the walls boxed off for different exhibits with prehistoric animals and peoples in what would've been their natural surroundings thousands of years ago. His head tilted slightly as he took in the hairy bipedals surrounding a faux firepit. "Though, maybe they would be more inclined to let me be a tour guide. At least then they would have to tolerate my presence a little more."

He watched then as one of the tour groups entered and smiled knowingly. Lucky for them that it was easy to tag along towards the back of the guests as the guide explained the different exhibits throughout history, though Lucien couldn't help himself when he would whisper other small facts to follow the ending of a lesson. It took a great deal of effort not to correct the young guide when they'd gotten to the American history section and Luke had insisted they stay in that particular room longer so he could give her a more thorough lecture on the Revolution. It was only when a beeping noise sounded that he stopped midsentence on the importance of spies and how they'd help win the war.

The sound seemed to echo tenfold given the acoustics of the museum as he finally pulled out his cell phone. "Ah, the alarm I set." He smiled somewhat sheepishly. "I told the mobile device to inform me when it was 1pm as not to spend the entirety of the day here in the museum since we have other plans." Lucien pushed the button once and furrowed his brow at the 'snooze' notification. "Clocks never used to be this complicated," he grumbled, sliding the phone back into his jacket and producing a pocket watch, presenting it slightly to her in his palm with the face open. "I miss simplicity sometimes."

He closed the metal clasp and put it away once more before looking back to Carmela. "Now that I've thoroughly bored you to tears that you've been too kind to produce out of manners and likely pity," he chuckled, clasping his hands behind his back, "I thought maybe you should take the reigns now. You'd do better leading the way with this shopping part of the day. I'm not so keen on fashion. Hudson likes to point this out as often as possible with a particular look that judges me from head to toe and scrunches his face up in an effort to not laugh." He shrugged with a soft smirk. "I'm rather hopeless. Perhaps you can save me from further ridicule?"
