Adolf lived in what he thought was a normal life, although most people compared his life very differently to what other people’s normal lives are like. He had everything he always wanted, got his own way, manipulated people in doing he’s deeds and wishes. He was the oldest child of the Reigns family, being the one who would one day take over the family company that brought them a lot of wealth and money. Adolf had two younger siblings Cedric and Sierra. He was closest to Sierra, the three of them used to get up to a lot of trouble and used to cause havoc together. Their parents were too busy with their neither work to bother worrying nor thinking about what their children were up to. They had spent a lot of nights in nightclubs, a different club each night and every night they had brought back with them a different person. Sneaking into the high-class apartment block they lived in. Adolf used to bring back a different girl each night, not bothering to know their names as it was only a one night stand that was all it was to him.

He was a bad boy, a player someone who seemed arrogant and cocky although he was very protective over his younger siblings, he was most protective of Sierra as he knew that she was hurt most easily, she always seemed to fall in love so easily and then ending up to have her heartbroken soon after. She was very much like him in many ways; she was a bad girl, rebellious. Although things had started to change Adolf as he had started going through changes. One morning he had woken up to searing pain that shoot through his lower back.  As the pain came to a stop he had checked his back in a nearby mirror and noticed a tattoo had formed where the pain originated from. He was confused of where and how it had gotten there tattooed on his skin. He was sitting down at the breakfast table, being the first down he was nursing from a hangover; he had looked at a glass of water that was placed in front of him. As he concentrated looking at the glass over the water, he watched as the water in the glass was rising up high and high in the glass, it was rising far up. Adolf had thought was it was only him being still hung over and that it was real, he heard a gasp that had escaped from someone’s lips. He turned to look at his mother who had walked into the room, to see what he was doing.

Adolf had kept his new found abilities and changes from his siblings, he had wanted to keep them unaware of what was happening, it was the best for them if they did not find out. Years had passed since Adolf had learnt of what he was; he had spoken to his mother privately of what was happening of him. He had learnt that he wasn’t a freak that he thought he was, he was an initia. A species that was able to control one of the 4 elements, if they develop their abilities to a high level, there is nothing that they cannot do with the element.  His younger siblings had started going through the same changes, he had helped them with their element and to reassure them that he knew what it was like and what they were going through.

There was one morning when Adolf had gone out with his sister to a club and didn’t arrive till the early hours of the morning, they hadn’t told their parents where they were and what they was up to. As they arrived home, Adolf sensed straight away that something wasn’t right from the moment that he saw the front door was broken, as he walked into his house to see what looked like from a horror story. He saw his parent’s bodies lying motionless on the floor; they were murdered and killed in cold blood. After that day he took it upon himself to take on the responsibility of being the older brother who would look after his siblings. After a few years since their parent’s death, they knew that it was time for them to travel to another country and to Evermore City where he knew there were people like him. It was time for them to be around people of their own kind, not to feel so much like an outsider and a place where can be himself.
