Alex Bloodwater lived happily with her mother, Alice Bloodwater, father, Jack Bloodwater, and older brother, Sam Bloodwater. She was raised as a fighter so she could protect herself. Every morning, since she was three at five am, her father would wake her and her brother up and train them in hand to hand, swordplay, and knife fighting. She was always better at knife fighting. She was taught to wear tight clothing and her hair up to keep anyone from grabbing it, so she always wore black shorts, black top and black steel toed boots. Her mother home-schooled her and her brother after her training with her father. Alex was so smart, it didn't take her long to be at her brother's level of learning. Because of the homeschooling, she never really had much of a chance to meet new people, so she tended to be pretty skid-dish around new people and anxious around a big number of new people. However, she ironically had an attractive personality. When Alex was twelve, she started to change. Her whole body was in pain and she didn't know why. Her parents, since only one was a Therianthrope, weren't sure if she would be one too, so they never told her until they were sure.

When her parents heard her screams of pain, they both rushed to her side and spoke soothing words to her as she changed. After she was fully changed, her parents explained what was happening to her, and stayed with her the whole night. She wasn't sure how to feel about this at first, and spent the next few days in her room alone, giving herself time to think about it. When she finally left her room, she told her parents that she wasn't upset with them for not telling her and thanked them for staying with her the whole time.

Since she was thirteen, she was allowed to wander the city on her own, but she had to be home before dark. She mostly went out to run errands for her parents and brother if they were too busy to do it themselves. She was always pretty happy, and she loved her family. She tended to be stubborn about a lot of things such as: If she thought she's right, she would keep fighting for that point until she won or was proven wrong. One day, her parents sat her down and told her that she was adopted. She wasn't too shocked buy this, since she didn't really look like her family, so she wasn't too mad. She loved her family just the same.

After she turned fifteen, her father decided to let her go out into the world and let her live on her own, thinking her to be ready. He gave her some money to start out with and told her she now had to find a job to make a living. She wandered for a while, hunting and picking berries for food and found caves for shelter at night. She had wandered for a few days before coming across a place called Evermore City. She found a place for sale and bought it. She is now on the search for work to help her support herself, and maybe even a few roommates. She also began to wonder who her biological family is.
