Aurora had spent her whole life trying to find out who she was. As she had always felt that there was a piece of her missing. She was abandoned on the doorstep of an old run down foster home although she wasn’t left alone.    She was found in a wicker basket, beside her twin sister, they were both left on the doorstep in the middle for the night. The workers at the foster home had never seen anything like this happen before, it was very peculiar. The two sisters were left together both having a locket that was the only thing that they had connecting them to their biological parents. Although it was not the only thing that was left as there was a letter which was addressed to the people who had found the two new-born babies. In the letter it said that they had left the babies as it was best for them to have the best chance of a life that they had not wished for them. They wanted their children to be away from the world that they lived in so that they could have a chance of having a normal life.

Although further in the letter it was revealed that the children needed to be separated that together as they both possess great power that could causes unthinkable consequences which was why the twins needed to be separated. A couple days after the arrive of the two new born babies a young couple had arrived at the run down foster home and adopted one of the babies who had adopted Clarissa. The twins were separated whilst Aurora was left behind. As time had passed the foster home had found it more difficult to provide the special food and bottled milk that the Aurora needed. Which had led to Aurora getting moved to another foster home. Although Aurora was never adopted, nobody wanted to adopted her, she was fostered a few times but she was always taken back to the foster home.

Aurora had been moved foster home to foster home being shifted back to different foster homes then being dumped back into the fostering system. As time passed she had given up hope that there may be a chance of someone that had wanted to adopt her. When she turned a teenager she knew that she would not get adopted as nobody wanted to adopt a teenager since they all wanted new born babies or young children. Aurora watched as the few children who she had thought that were like family to her left and was adopted one by one. She hated seeing them go to their new home with their new foster parents as Aurora had always wished that one day that it would be her who was leaving to have a happier and better life with people who would treat her as one of their own.

She spent the majority of her time stuck in the small bedroom that she shared with a few other young girls, she preferred spending time by herself. Alone where she could think to herself not having any disruptions. She turned to having books as her best friends as she always gotten lost inside the world of books where she could imagine herself having a better life. Although reality always kept her from imagining what her life could have been like. If her parents hadn’t left and abandoned her. Ashe had spent countless of hours her life thinking about why her parents had left her maybe they had a reason for leaving her or maybe they were not ready to be a parents. Although she had thought about why they decided to leave her on the doorstep of the foster home, they did not even bother to ring or knock on the door. She was told that she may had been outside all night, nobody knew that she was there all night.

Aurora grew up in the foster home that was located in Brooklyn in New York in Manhattan the Brooklyn bridge separated Brooklyn from the upper east side of Manhattan. She liked living in Brooklyn, a place where people lived normal and ordinary lives compared to all of the rich and upper class people who lived on the other side of the bridge. As she was a foster care child it had meant that she couldn’t have private tutors or go to private schools as she was too poor to afford all of the privilege that the rich children had at the click of their fingers. Even though Aurora had gone to a public school in Brooklyn she did not let that be why she could not be as intelligent as children of the uppercase was. She put her head into her books and knuckled down, deciding to try to learn and be the top of her class. As she had nothing else to do, since she did not have a social life. She was not the type of person to make friends as you could say she was a loner who had preferred to have her own company other than having the company of others.

The staff at the foster home were proud of Aurora and how far she had come and how much she had achieved knowing that she have not had the best of lives. Aurora always wanted to know more about her family and where she had come from although she knew that the staff at the foster home would not let her look at her files since she was not allowed to see her file until she was 18. She knew that when she reached the age of 18 she would legally be an adult and she would be kicked out and have to live by herself. Although the only problem is that she has no money saved up as she never had a job.

One day as she was sitting in her bedroom reading a book by herself, she heard a knock at the door. As she went to open it, it was one of foster workers, who wanted to talk to her about something. She had wondered what the matter was as she hadn’t done anything. She was told that she was not given the full truth about the day that she was found and was abandoned. She had learnt that she had a twin sister who was left with her. Her twin sister Clarissa was adopted a few days later, the thought that it would be best if they kept it a secret that it was for the best. And that Clarissawas downstairs and looking for her sister. As Clarissa walked downstairs she was reunited with her sister. Even though it had been so many years since they were last together, the next moment she felt herself in the tight embrace of her sister’s arms wrapped around her.

That day she had spent the whole day talking and catching up of all that had happening during the time that they had been separated.  Even though they had been separated and kept from each other for so long not knowing that each other existed they both felt a connection. That there missing piece of them have been found. Even though Clarissa lived in the Upper East Side whilst Aurora had lived in Brooklyn they still managed to speak to each other almost every day.

When they both turned 18 they decided that it was time for them to both live together, one of the reasons was that Aurora could no longer live in the foster home as she was too old and could no longer live there. Even though, she had no money, Clarissa’s adoptive family helped to pay for a flat in the Upper East Side. Aurora was taken from everything that she knew and was used to. It was the start of her new life and she was fortunate to have her twin sister back in her life.

Aurora started working in a part time bar to help to pay money for rent and food although she didn’t impractical enjoys it, it was still money that was coming into her account at the end of each week. As weeks passed since turning 18, she had noticed strange things happening around her. Some were out of the ordinary, she was able to control water make it do what she wanted it to do. At first she had only thought that it was just her going mad from lack of sleep from working late shifts at work. Although one morning she woke up she had been feeling a burning pain on her lower back although she had always brushed the pain away and thought none of it. It was until she saw a tribal tattoo appear on her back. It was that day when she knew her life would never be the same.

She had learnt that her sister too had the tattoo appear on her back a few weeks later, the both knew what was happening to them both was both impossible, it was theoretical and they should not be able to control the type of powers that they are able to. After so many hours searching on the internet and through several books, she had found out the reason behind all that had been happening to her and her sister. Aurora had found out that they were not human anymore that they were initia…

Both of them packed their bags and moved to Evermore City where people of their own kind lived as well as other different species. They moved to the base of the mountains where the initia resided. Aurora and her sister both found out about all of the secrets and old tribal legends about the Initia tribe. It had been months since arriving in Evermore City, she had finally felt that she had a place to call her home, and was happy as she was living with her sister and her tribe. Her life changed the day that the Magister had died from old age, and the sprit infinity had picked her out of everyone else. Aurora knew that with her new found powers and abilities she had no choice but to lead her tribe and take all of the responsibility of being an ambassador. It was now all down to her and no one else to be the leader and the Magister of the Initia Tribe.

Soon after becoming Magister, Aurora’s powers grew as did her sisters. Their powers were too powerful when put together as they were unable to control the amount of power that they possess when they are both together. They both learnt that their only weakness as siblings that they were unable to control their power whilst they were together. After lots of time thinking about what to do, they both decided it would be best and safer for everyone if they were separated until they were able to control their powers when together. Clarissa left her leaving her behind to look after her tribe without having her sister who could give her help and guidance.

Things were going okay for Aurora since her sister had left it was until the night of the massacre when her life changed and nothing would be the same. So many deaths and murders had happened in that forgettable night, many who had died were her friends. Life had not been easy for Aurora since as she had spent most of her time picking up the pieces and trying to help her tribe through it all. Most importantly trying to find out the reason why the massacre had happened so that many thoughts could be put at rest.
