Bailey was born to a loving family in a small town in Whitefish Montana. Growing up in the small town raised a humble woman. She worked in her mother and father’s general store, they ran most of her life. That was until she fell in love with a man named Daniel Jameson. The pair started dating Freshman year of high school. They were the classic small town high school sweethearts that dated all the way through highschool.
Dating Daniel was easy at first, he was kind and showed her love she had never known. Once she was hooked in he started to fill her mind with insecurities. Enforcing the idea that the only man that will love her would be him. His possession over Bailey grew to a point that Bailey feared if she didn’t do what he asked he would hurt her. After high school Daniel asked Bailey to marry him and she felt like she couldn’t refuse. Her parents pushed her into marrying Daniel as he came from the wealthiest family in the town.
She had no one that she could reach out to before she knew it, She was married at the young age of eighteen and moved into a house gifted to them by Daniels' parents. Slowly Daniel became aggressive to the point that Bailey had to cover bruises with makeup or clothing, though she often took photos to document the abuse. He was always careful to keep it in places that were often not visible to the public, convincing her no one would believe her anyways. She was expected from Daniel to keep up the appearance of the perfect housewife. He refused to allow her to work as she was to give him children and take care of them and the home he gave her.
Daniel got his wish for a child after many failed attempts due to his own anger issues, causing miscarriages for the young couple. It was the kind of trauma Bailey would never wish upon another. At the age of twenty five Bailey gave birth to a baby boy that they named Mayson. He became Bailey's life, she spent so much time caring for the child to the point of barely being able to set him down. Though her protective nature came out due to the fact she never wanted Daniel to turn his abuse on to the child. Some nights she would have to lock Daniel out of the room with him banging on the door threatening their child simply for crying.
Bailey had been able to keep Daniel from striking out on their child for ten years until the day came. Mayson had broken one of Daniel's expensive pairs of sunglasses while Bailey was making dinner for the family. The screams that came from Mayson caused Bailey to pick up a cast iron pan running towards the screams. As Bailey saw Daniel pinning the child to the floor as he stuck blow after blow. Bailey swung the pan hitting Daniel in the back of the head. She didn’t stop swinging until Daniel was bloody and limp on the floor.
She quickly picked up her child and held the barely breathing child in her arms crying. She had to make their escape, she needed to get her child to safety. She rushed to the car laying Mayson in the back seat. Rushing back inside to get some of their things. After throwing some bags in the trunk she took off. She wasn’t sure if she killed Daniel or not. All she knew was she was on the run at that point. She had no idea what she was doing.
She drove following signs mindlessly until a sign that seemed to hold hope in her heart. She couldn’t explain what made her turn off the exit to Evermore that night. She drove to Evermore General taking Mayson in the ER. As she spoke with one of the nurses she broke down. She explained how her husband beat her for years, how she tried to keep her child safe. Showing her the evidence she had but how he was a high figure in her town and no one would believe her and she would lose her child. The woman seemed so angered over her husband's actions she promised to help her get settled into Evermore along with any other help she would need. She was thankful for Joanna showing up in her life that day.
Joanna had some friends drive the car that was in her husband's name a few states over. She even got Bailey a small apartment for her to have a roof over her head. Bailey looked for jobs all around the city before landing a position as manager of a local spa. The Elderly woman who owned the place taught her everything she needed to know about running the business. After two years of living in Evermore and running the spa, her and Mayson settled into the town as if they were from there. Mayson turned from a shy, fearful child to an outgoing happy child. It was the most reassuring thing she did what was right for her and Mayson.
The elderly woman who owned the spa passed away. Not having any family to give the spa to, so she left it to Bailey with the money to pay the bills for a year. It was far more then Bailey could ask for or deserve but she was grateful for the faith the woman had in her. She threw herself into the business along with other activities that involved spending time with her son. Though word did reach her after five years that Daniel was alive and looking for her feverishly.
It caused fear in Bailey, even though she was under a new last name with her child along with new socials. She really felt she thought of everything that it came to keeping themselves safe. Or so she thought. One morning she woke up and something felt off within her home. She got up going to check on Mayson. When she opened the door to his room, he was gone.
Fear caused her blood to go cold as she ran around her home to find Mayson. Calling 911 to report her son missing. When the Police showed up they found no evidence to show that the child was kidnapped. They questioned Bailey to the point where it felt as if they were trying to blame her for her own child's disappearance. After weeks with no answers Bailey was at the end of her rope. She had to find her son, she just hoped someone would help her, and that Daniel was not the one that took him.
