Carlos Castellano was born to Nephilim parents Pablo Castellano and Maria Knight in the humid regions of Mexico City. His father was a wealthy Mexican businessman, the founder and CEO of Castellano Constructions, a company which built up most of the skyline of Mexico City and New York City, where Pablo met his future wife, Maria. Maria Knight was one of the most popular socialites of the Upper East Side, so it was rather odd to see one of the promising women falling head over hills with a Mexican architect who was just making his name known.

Carlos, nicknamed 'Chuck' by his American mother, grew up surrounded by butlers, nannies, maids...yet he always felt alone--being the only child in a large mansion, he usually was curled up in a tree or in an empty room with a good book, usually works of Shakespeare and his favorite: Dante's Divine Comedy. He always knew what he was: his father and mother told him from a child that he was 'special': a Nephilim. Starting from the age of five, he was trained in all arts of combat. He loved the adrenaline that coursed through his veins whenever he swung a sword, whenever he threw a dagger at it's mark...he loved it so much that whenever the weather was clear, he was usually at the archer's ranger by his house, shooting at the many targets arrow after arrow.

At the age of twelve, his live changed drastically: his mother and father filed for divorce. Later on in his life, he discovered from private investigators that it was due to his father sleeping around, but at the time, it shocked him. His mother won custody over the young Mexican, and the two moved to New York City.

After moving to the Upper East Side, Carlos was sent to St. Bartholomew's, a prestigious all-boy's school. He met a girl there, Acacia Lovelock, at the sister school of St. Bart's, and the two had an unusual friendship--a love-hate kind of thing. He always blamed his father for leaving the two of them, and so he grew to a be a sly, manipulative teen. He used his hatred for his father to fuel a need to prove himself, and he graduated valedictorian of his class.

And then, his father showed up.
He was drunk and pathetic, grovelling at the feet of Maria and Carlos. Carlos wanted to throw him out, but Maria agreed to have a civil conversation with him, to see how they could fix things. But it went all wrong when the two got in a car together, which got run over by a trailer.

Carlos was at a party when the dreaded phone call came for him, and he changed for the worst. He took up drinking and the occasional gambling, living quite a risky lifestyle. Only Acacia really kept him grounded, kept him safe. But he pushed her away, leaving her to travel the world, drinking his life away with less than class company.

One day, he woke up and realized: he was the last Castellano, now that his father had left his world. He was trained to be a fighter and a skilled businessman. Packing up his things, he headed back to New York City to take over Castellano Constructions.
One day in the office, a British man by the name of Adolf Reigns came to his desk and offered him an amazing job down in an unknown city by the name of "Evermore" in Colorado. Sceptical at first, he soon changed his mind after seeing the skyline. His mind raced, and the now-twenty six year old Mexico dreamed of an empire to add to his own in both his hometowns. He also found more of his find: a 'faction' full of Nephilim that were accepted and protected under certain laws. Curiosity bit at him, and he pondered day after day about the city, whether he should actually live there, or to not. So he up and left, now ready to take on his newest project.
