The De Lioncourt family were on of the many different families of Naiad’s who live below the surface of the world above, never once traveling to the surface the family remained in an undersea. The family were somewhat close but never really to the point they would die for one another, of course like every family this sea life family where just like the families who lives on land. It turne out the Naiad’s where a community who could never just simply up and leave without something happening, so they all learned to get on and try to live their lives as if they the best they could. But the moment they found out that Syrena the mother of the family was with child; the family soon put their differences aside and soon became a whole family again planning out how they would raise her and how they would teach her, but most of all how they would explain to her that she’d never be able to travel up to the world above to see what it looked like.

But it was Syrena who put her foot down and told the family that she’d be raised just like a normal Naiad, a child of the sea and one who would enjoy her life living in a kingdom filled with Naiad’s and many other sea life the family all agreed. It was in the middle of Summer that the beautiful baby Naiad was born; smiles across the De Lioncourt family they gathered to see this little miracle her eyes a beautiful brown, and clearly full of life this beautiful baby girl had already made a name for herself. Celeste her mother said in a clear toned voice which rang throughout the kingdom; whoever knew the family could clearly tell they had given birth to a daughter and it was clear that this family was something special, they had many friends in the kingdom who came just to see this child and each who laid eyes upon her fell in love with her.

It was only as Celeste grew up among her fellow Naiad’s that people began to notice how different this beautiful little girl really was, from a young age she loved to sing and live her life on the edge. Her parents like that she enjoyed to sing but they did worry about how their little girl seemed to live her life on the edge, but they knew sooner or later she’d grow out of it. Oh how wrong they were. As Celeste grew she only became more daring already learning and enjoying her life underwater she’d began to make friends with the sea life, soon become very popular with her generation she soon came across to meet one one of the scariest creatures ever to live in the sea. Carcharodon Carcharias the great white shark all three thousand this animal opened it’s mouth and with that she screamed, only to be saved by her big brother who had followed her fearing for her safety.

A surprised but glad Celeste clung to her big brother who got them to safety where she told him she was sorry for sneaking off, however her brother being who he was shook his head and just laughed. That was when he told her he used to be like her at that age and it was with those words Celeste wanted to know more. Deciding it would be best for her to learn from her brother and family Celeste began to hang out more with her brother, learning more things about the undersea kingdom and of course it’s sea life Celeste finally felt more at home. Of course growing up here for her did have it’s ups and downs; she knew that she couldn’t complain too much she was a Naiad after all, so the young girl soon gave up on dwelling on the downside of her life she had only ever seen the undersea. So why should she continue to wonder about the world above her kingdom?

It was only when Celeste began to hit her mid teens she started to ask more about the above world, only to be told they could never go up there as the creatures who lived on land wouldn’t be able to handle what they were. But Celeste being who she was travelled up from her kingdom however remaining in the water she looked around, only to see a massive city miles from where she was a slight smile spreading across her lips she returned to the kingdom. This was where she decided to just remain in the water and no longer ask questions, it was the best thing she could do because she knew sooner or later the leader would give in. And when that day came and they would finally place their feet on land again, that Celeste would finally begin to see the world from a whole new light. However for now Celeste was just happy to enjoy her time with her friends and family using her swings to move around the water freely, she soon came across another little thing a rare fish which she soon began to wish she had some way of keeping it or at least a memory off it.
