On July 9, 1990, in Crystal Cove, the O’meara family welcomed the joyful birth of their first born son Conor. However, none like the other families that lived around him. The O’meara family were people of the supernatural kind. How? His parent’s originally being from the Initia Clan back in Evermore city, the family only decided to move to Crystal Cove to be closer to Conor’s grandparents, and although Conor grew up with a close-knit kind of family around him. He made it clear that he was never going to be like any of his family, from the moment he began to walk and talk. However, his family believing that their son would grow out of the face that had overcome him. They never would’ve expected that Conor would be to blame for one of the biggest accidents to hit Crystal Cove.

The small town filling with horrific screams as builds busted into flames before their eyes and, Conor standing emotionless as the buildings burned. It seemed that young Conor O’meara was the firebug; however, his family believing that he was innocent and wouldn’t dare harm anyone because he was raised better than that. They put it down to thugs that lived in the nearby town of Green wick, but soon being taken by surprise when Conor admitted that he’d done it, and enjoyed watching the flames dance around. It soon became clear that Conor wasn’t going to fit into this town as well as they thought, and knowing that they couldn’t risk their secret being exposed by their son. They decided that it would best to send him to live with his other grandparents in Evermore City.

Although making it clear that he wasn’t going to go without a fight. Conor once again went out on a horrific rampage, only this time it was aimed only for his parents. Waiting until nightfall before he put his plan into action. However, being caught in the act just as he was about to drop the lighter that would in his eyes hopefully end his families lives. Conor was pushed inside the O’meara household and snapped at by his family. His mother in tears as she told him he could’ve killed his unborn sister, the hurt that Conor began to feel made him realize that his actions were much too danger for him to be around them. “I want to go, please let me go” he pleaded with them, and his family seeing the true child they’d brought into the world once again appearing. They agreed with him and let him go to Evermore.

“I’m sorry; I never should’ve tried that. I promise if and when I come back I’ll be a much better person” he whispered as he hugged his mother goodbye, however, knowing that it would be a long time before he’d see his parent’s again. Conor turned to his father and just gave him a simple nod. In his eyes believing that he’d be too much of a risk around his family, and his sister to come. He decided that as the bus was pulling out of the station and leaving Crystal Cove that he wouldn’t return. In hopes that his family would have a better life without him, he made a promise that he’d never return to the small town that he’d tried to destroy.

However, his mind slipping deeply into thought as he began to wonder why he wanted to kill his family. It soon became a lot clearer to, however, over the long bus trip that it must’ve been due to the blood that ran through his veins. So it was obvious that he needed to keep his head down until he arrived in the city he’d be living in until further notice, and just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse a storm approached. The bus being forced to pull in at a rest stop, Conor began to believe that he’d never make it to Evermore City, and knowing that he wanted to get there before he could cause any more damage. Conor decided to risk walking. The rain wind and the rain beating against him like whips that had been used to punish people; it quickly became obvious that he needed to get to shelter before he lost his temper again, and knowing that he couldn’t burn the wind and rain Conor rushed to a nearby café.

Though the storm seeing to die down after a couple of hours. Conor knew that now he had the chance he needed to be on his way, however, feeling too tired to continue he decided to see what money he had. In hopes that he’d have enough to book himself into a small hotel or something until the morning, and soon finding he had a few extra dollars. Conor made his way to a small little motel a few blocks away from the café, his eyes heavy and his mind only set on one thing. It was clear that Conor wouldn’t be going anywhere else until sunrise. Upon arriving in the room he’d be spending the night, Conor fell into his bed and was soon asleep quicker than he ever could imagine. Although awakening during the night to stinging pains in his lower back, and knowing that he needed his family to help him.

So in a desperate attempt of finding out what was wrong with him, he reached for the phone and called his parents. “Come on, come on” he mumbled to himself, however, the phone only leading to the answering machine. Conor began to panic “HELP ME!” He begged and screamed down the phone, and knowing too well that his parents wouldn’t likely get it until morning. Conor rushed out of his hotel room and was overwhelmed by the cold air that rushed through his body, and for the first time in his entire life he felt free. No more feelings of needing the flames to calm him. He began to feel this strong power for the cold air that danced around in his air, and brushed softly against his skin. The gentle kiss of the wind as it brushed him only giving him a reassurance that everything would be alright. Conor knew that from that moment onward his life was never going to be the same again.

His mind remaining in a somewhat daze until the sun grazed his skin. Conor was left on his knees feeling stunned, however, knowing that he’d need to contact his parents. Who’d likely be panicking right now about the voicemail he’d left them. Conor returned back to his room and picked the phone up, calling his parents once more and leaving a new voicemail to let them know that everything was alright. Though soon realizing that he was still miles from the city that he was meant to call his home, Conor made his way to the nearest bus station. Where he caught the next bus on its way to Evermore City, however, feeling anxious about what the city was going to be like upon his arrival. Conor began to feel this overwhelming feeling of the fear strike into his chest, and it wasn’t until he actually arrived in the city that all those fears seemed to flutter away.

His eyes now set on the future he was going to have. It seemed that there was only one more thing to do before he could begin his new life, which was to find his grandparents and settle into his new home, and that is exactly what he did. Getting the help of people who seemed to know their way around the city, he was able to get to his grandparents’ house before nightfall, and with all the traveling he’d done. Conor just couldn’t wait to settle in and finally forget about Crystal Cove. Though was it going to be as easy as it looked? Of course, not nightmares setting in on him on his first night, it soon became obvious that now that he’d gotten his new found abilities. They were going to teach him a thing or two about the things he’d done in the past, however, forcing himself to stay awake and think about everything he’d done. Conor called his family. “I need to tell the truth” he explained before he decided to go to the police station.

Handing himself in and explaining all the bad things he’d done. The police charged him with everything he’d admitted, however, believing that his punishment wasn’t enough. Conor asked them if there was anything he could possibly do. The police seeming shocked that a guy who’d just admitted that he’d set a small town a light, and nearly turned it to ruins wanted to help and do something to pay the place back. However, the police demanding that he kept away from the town and didn’t dare contact any of the victims’ families that had could’ve perished in the blaze. Conor agreed to the conditions and knowing it would be best to keep his head down.

Applying for a job working in a local newspaper company, Conor was slowly able to get his life back on the track he wanted it, however, the job not being one that he originally wanted to do. Conor knew that it was going to be the best he’d ever get, especially now that he had a criminal record on his hands. However, little did he expect that his life wasn’t going to always be in that line of work? A local new station noticing him and the writing he’d been doing on blogs, they soon decided to hire him and give him a shot at journalism and it was this job, which Conor was able to finally go places with his life. Conor then being able to travel to certain places to tell the news, and tell the stories that he’d always dreamed of telling. It all soon became nothing more than a daze to him, as though he was living in an endless dream, that he just didn’t want to wake up from. Conor soon began to hope that one day he’d be able to get the chance to see the sister. That he was forced to leave behind.
