Name: Rosetta d'Amore
Age: 17
Species: Moon Shifter
Preferred Animal: Wolf
Family: None
Face Claim: Shailene Woodley
Born in Italy, Rosetta spent her high school days in her dorm room at her Italian boarding school studying to become a Forensic Scientist. When she was only 6, Rosetta lost her parents to a house fire when she was away at her friend’s house. This left Rosetta with no family, and barely any friends considering how shy she was.
Italy never suited her, even though she was born there. Rosetta always stood out, no matter what. Her shying away from people, her introverted nature; every time she tried not to attract attention, that’s why she did. Rosetta wanted a new start. She had always been good in her studies, and she was always top of her class receiving a scholarship to attend Barton College in Evermore city, Rosetta moved to America leaving her home behind without looking back.
Moving to America, Rosetta moved into an apartment near her university. She would attend classes during the day and come back home to study until nightfall, which usually ended with her sleeping at her desk with a steaming cup of coffee next to her. Sidetracking as she studied Rosetta would sketch drawings on the side of her notes. Usually, her doodles consisted mainly of detailed animals of all shapes and sizes. Rosetta dismissed these as being that of her imagination, as she had always loved that particular animal, but there was more to it then it seemed.
While dozing off one night, Rosetta accidently spilt coffee all over her right arm. She cursed herself, cleaning up the mess quickly and put ice on her burning arm. She thought the burning would stop. On the contrary, the burning on her arm went on for a week. She bandaged it up, hoping the sting of the pain would diminish in due time with all the creams she applied on it. One day, it stopped hurting, under all her linen bandages and ointments. Naturally, she removed the bandages, thinking it was all over. Then she noticed it, a small sun and moon shaped tattoo on her right wrist. She had never even planned on getting a tattoo and she couldn’t even remember getting it. As hard as she tried it wouldn’t come off and started to burn incredibly when she tried. She decided she would hide it so she could go to class and figure it out later, but it wouldn’t be her who would figure it out.
As Rosetta left Barton campus that day she spotted a group of people sitting at a coffee shop on the corner. They all had similar tattoos. She felt herself drawn to the group and decided to approach them. She pulled into the parking lot of the coffee shop and approached the group, forgetting her shyness. She bluntly said to them, “Why do I have the same tattoo as all of you?” They all seemed a bit dazed and confused around it all. Then she showed them her tattoo and they told her what she was, a potential Shifter.
It was explained to her that recently there has been a lot of potentials being tapped and that it was due to the two clans merging, upon being asked what her symbol was she held out her tattooed wrist and there laid a tattoo of the sun and moon, the moon part shaded in and after this the shifter ritual was performed on her, she was officially and shifter and she had no idea in hell what that would mean for her future.
