Ebodine was born a normal human in Evermore City, she grew up with a normal family, well as normal as an adopted child with only one parent could be and went to school like every other person in the world. She never really stood out in a crowd and though she had a few friends, they tended to only come to her when there wasn’t a better offer. Sometimes she wished her life could be a little more exciting, though it was really only ever a thought in the back of her mine.

Ebodine was 18 when she first started the tapping process. She didn't understand what was happening, she thought it was all in her head, she was suffering with the death of the only family she had. Her adoptive father. For a week after the funeral she felt this burning sensation on her right arm, but she was too wrapped up in her anger, regret and grief that she didn't take notice of it. 

One day she woke up with a tattoo in the place her arm was burning, in her head it never existed she went into denial and thought she was going mad. The visions she started having didn't help her state of mind, she was scared and alone and had nobody to talk to about it without her being classed as mentally unstable. 

The next thing she knew was that she was going through a ritual, she had woken up in the forest and she was introduced to the shifter clan of Evemore whom had found her passed out, she still thought it was all in her head, but she wanted to go along with it, wanted to fully the rules so she could finally understand where she came from. 

The first time she shifted, she felt like she was going to burst, not in a painful way, but in a way she couldn't describe. She couldn't even shift fully, she could only shift half of her body but she wanted to be able to do it, she wanted to be able to handle what her destiny was.

Two years down the line and Ebodine is still with the shifter clan, her experience has improved however she still has some difficulty shifting during the day and she is still learning to master her special ability. She had been chosen by the Wild Horse, a majestic animal who thrived on running free.
