Esmeralda was born on the outskirts of Canada in the year 1991, she felt a bit closed off and isolated until her two younger sisters Crystal and Zosia came about, she took her job as older sister with pride as she always protected them whenever she could in hopes that they would grow and mature into wonderful young ladies. As the sisters grew up they were always together and they could never be separated no matter what they would do together, whether it was playing games or when they needed to share their excitement knowing they would get their water element soon as they were in a water-based Intia tribe.

One night as Esmeralda slept in her room with the others Crystal woke up and rushed into the girl’s room with claims that her back stung, this initially confused Esmeralda as she was the oldest so she should’ve got her element first, but remained calm as she knows that most Initia’s get theirs at different stages in their lives. The sisters decided they would test this element of Crystal’s to see if she did indeed receive the water element and the three quietly walked downstairs into the kitchen, she only watched from behind as she saw her baby sister fill up a glass of water and placed it on a bench. Despite the confusion Esmeralda congratulated Crystal when she merely shifted the water to tip the glass to the side.

As the months continued rolling Esmeralda finally gained her element of water when she was by herself, she was relaxing near a lake when her back started to sting and she paced back and forth as she continuously itched it until she tripped over and fell into the lake. Esmeralda couldn’t control herself as she was struggling to breathe until she finally took a breath underwater… She was confused until she realised her back wasn’t itching, managing to finally get out the water and laugh to herself about. Crystal rushed in after seeing what happened and they decided to mess about with their water abilities to help Esmeralda get used to her water abilities quickly. She didn’t even realise Zosia watching them until Crystal splashed Zosia and resulted in them having a sibling sort-of argument, resulting in Zosia leaving them both having a temper tantrum.

One day while Esmeralda was busy doing her own thing when she her Zosia’s screams, being the older sister she is Esmeralda rushed to Zosia’s side to see what was going on. She was absolutely shocked beyond belief for there were two phoenix’s in front of the sisters ready to attack them, Esmeralda quickly sprung into action to protect her sisters knowing that Zosia hasn’t even gained her water element yet and knowing that Crystal hasn’t got the best aim. Crystal did eventually join in as they battled the two phoenix’s but it was so busy that other Initia members came out their houses and watched the struggle between two enemies, the girls were all burnt and they were exhausted…

It was during this confrontation when Crystal tried to aim for one more attack on the phoenix’s but she missed and aimed for her baby sister’s face. That was when Esmeralda’s world just stopped there as the water became solid ice, watching the phoenix’s leave she was in complete confusion… how could her sister turn water into ice just like that, that can’t be an Initia power as she knows that Initia’s could only control fire, water, air or earth...

The next day Esmeralda walked into Zosia’s room one day to find out that she has ran off and this completely broke Esmeralda. she felt like she hasn’t done her job properly, she didn’t know what to do now that her younger sister has just vanished from thin air. With nothing else to do where she lived she decided to go search for her sister and beckoned Crystal to follow her, it was a very long time before the sisters finally had their first clue from various sources that Zosia was going to a place known as Evermore City, also hearing that the place housed all types of species. But just when the sisters finished their journey to that place they started to feel agonizing pain throughout their bodies as they watched the most unusual thing pass by, causing them to pass out.

A few hours later Esmeralda awoke on a bench with Crystal holding her hand, Esmeralda didn’t understand what was happening but was confused when Crystal mentioned that she could now control a second thing. Esmerelda also found out that she can now control a second element; which was air… Now with these new powers the sisters are determined to find Zosiaand help protect her despite what happened.
