Coming from a clan of Initias, Ethan Parrish already had his life planned out from the minute he was born. Ethan Jeremy Parrish was born on September 13th, 1991 to Lorraine and Allan Parrish in Seattle, Washington. The Parrish family’s bloodline of Initas ran back further than they could keep record of. However, the life that was planned for Ethan didn’t go into the works because of the event that happened one summer night in 1992. The rain was pouring in Seatlle, one of the worst thunderstorms that summer and Allan and Lorraine were in a frantic to leave Seattle. Little did the Parrish family know that they made an enemy with a family of their own.

An estranged cousin, ten years before Ethan was born had shown no sign of powers even at the age of 18 so the clan had shunned him away. The humiliation and betrayal the young man felt turned into a bitter rage and once the young man had received his powers which was the young man had the element of ice. That summer night was the night the young Parrish had gotten his revenge and massacred the entire family. Lorraine managed to get Ethan away from the carnage while Allan was forced to kill him. However, that night had changed Allan. The once loving and warm father and husband was a callous, cruel and cold man that grew distant to his wife and son.

However, their story came to an abrupt end three years later. They had moved from Seattle to a small town in Washington. Ethan was four years old when he lost both of his parents. He doesn’t remember his father the way his mother used to describe him but only the cruel man he had turned into but his mother tried her best to make sure the young boy remembered that deep down, his father was a good man. It was another bad summer storm with the rain pouring as the family was on their way home. Lorraine was arguing with Allan, claiming to be trying to tear the family apart. The soft harsh talking that turned into yelling is what Ethan remembers from the backseat as he forced himself not to listen. But just a moment later, he recalls tires screeching and the sound of metal being ripped as the family had gotten into a horrible accident. Allan couldn’t see past the rain and anger to see the car coming straight for them but swerved too late to collide right into them. Ethan’s parents were killed right on impact but somehow the young boy survived but was in critical condition.

The Sheriff of the small town was on call to the crash site and it was one of the worst accident Sheriff Sara Munez had ever seen since she’s been in the department. The young woman was well aware of the supernatural as an Instar Diviner and when she saw the last name of the victims, Allan and Lorraine Parrish, she knew of the Initia clan. She went to the hospital to check on the status of the little boy, not believing that he survived and she checked in on him everyday when he awoke two weeks later. The doctors were unsure if he’d wake up but deemed Ethan a fighter when his eyes opened. Staying another four weeks in the hospital, Munez checked in on Ethan every day and soon found herself growing close to the young boy. She felt bad for him, no family to take care of him but the boy had a smile bright as the stars when he saw the woman who would soon become a mother figure to him. Once he was out of the hospital, the Sheriff took him in.

That’s when Ethan’s story had turned into a good and happy one. He had gotten along well in the Sheriff’s home and everything else in his life like school and other activities was going well. He had joined some sport teams but he had a real love for music. He grew to love learning how to play new instruments but he enjoyed the piano more than the others. And in the piano class, that’s where he met his first girlfriend. They grew to be high school sweethearts and when college came around, she’d be leaving to another state as he couldn’t afford to head to college. But all the time, the young man never showed signs of any elemental powers. Munez kept looking for any signs that he’d show powers but there was nothing. She waited to tell him what he was until he showed but her not having much knowledge, she must have thought that he was just going to be human by some biological fluke. So Ethan found work around the town at the local garage and stayed in the small town for the next couple of years.

However, tragedy struck into Ethan’s life once more. He wasn’t aware of the supernatural world and he thought the stories he was told when he was young were just that, bedtime tales. But he didn’t know that Munez had made an enemy with a lycan in town. She had locked him up but he escaped and broke into her home late at night. Ethan had been sound asleep before hearing her screams and crashed in her room. He ran out of his room only to find the Lycan ripping her heart out and that’s when the young man lost it. He had everything taken from him and that’s when he could feel a surge of power through his veins as the lights flickered in the house before his fingertips sparked and his eyes were an electric blue. He found his power of electricity as the rage made him kill the lycan before him, sending bolts of electricity into his heart and body before he toppled over. After he lost Sara, the woman who took him in when he had no one, he left Washington. He didn’t want to stay in that state anymore after he lost everyone he cared for.

So he traveled from state to state, and now that he had the tribal tattoo etched into his lower back he wanted to know about his heritage. He was in New Mexico when the comet hit. He had found someone who told him about a city in Colorado that can help him. He was driving through the desert land at that’s when he saw the bright light and passed out, crashing himself behind the wheel. When he awoke, he was still in his car but it felt like an icebox as he got himself to wake up. Still disoriented he didn’t think much of it until he remembered where he was. The windows was iced from the inside as if it was winter as he could see his own breath in the car. That’s when he found that he had the element of ice.

Now that he arrived in Evermore, he found others like him. He had met the magister of his Initia kind and the woman named was Rosalyn. She explained what he was and the history of their kind when he found out that he was part of the Privus Initia. He is now resided with the other Privus and is training under Rosalyn to learn control of his powers while planning on keeping the secret of who they are from the outside world.
