Meghan was born as an only child in a tribe in France to a family which extended way past her and her parents. The tribe Meghan grew up in was famously known as the moon shifter tribe, despite all their members being nothing more than humans. She was trained about the supernatural world from the moment she could understand it, her tribe was knowledgeable in the supernatural world despite not being supernatural themselves. Meghan had been born into a family who was of direct descent of the moon shifter clan, the clan's shifter lineage was rumored to have gone extinct over 150 years before but despite many people's belief that the moon shifter clan would never exist again, her tribe continued to hold on to a promise.

A promise that one day, a set of twins would revive the moon shifter clan and one day reunite the two clans once again to bring the shifter species back to the balance that was supposed to be exist and it was made clear to Meghan’s cousin Saskiah and her brother Kiel that they were believed to be the ones who would fulfil the promise. Throughout her raising, Meghan has always been close with her cousin Saskiah, the two had the same sense of humour which pulled them together over the years, they were of similar minds too which helped. Being an only child Meghan was pushed to spend more time with her cousins when she was young and the five all went to high school together, they were a strange group but somehow worked. Meghan, Saskiah, Kiel, Karlie and Mark.

Meghan grew to be a respectable young lady and as she matured she took on somewhat of a clan protector role, she stayed with the tribe despite others leaving and she cared for people, helped them with their worries and helped with the progress. Eventually she took on a professional role as a councillor and took a few years to study at a university in Paris. While in Paris she took on many interests, including archery. She only wanted to strengthen herself, so that she could protect her tribe. She knew that there would be danger waiting for them and she wanted to be ready. She found someone, whom not only taught her about the arts of archery, but also of hunting and self defense. She, would no longer be afraid, and if needed she would kill anyone who tried to harm her family.

A few years had passed before she returned to her family, for a specific ritual that would change all of their lives. After the ritual took place to reignite the moon clan, Kiel was laid to rest, the ceremony had been too stressful on his weakened immune system and his heart had given out. Meghan felt the tension throughout the whole of her tribe, they were frightened and confused but they had also done it, they had re-triggered the shifter gene in Saskiah. It was hard for Meghan to let Saskiah go, she could see the other girl becoming cold and shutting people out and Meghan wanted to help but Saskiah pushed Meghan away and the two hadn’t seen each other since.

A few years later Meghan was working in her office when she felt an odd pain in her arm and upon opening her eyes once the pain faded she found a tattoo of a sun and moon branded on her arm, both symbols were not colored. She knew what it meant right away and after this Meghan was forced to pack her world away to head to America, she knew that she would die should she not have the ritual performed on her. Upon arriving in Evermore city she found Karlie and Mark whom had also become moon shifters. The next step was to find her long lost cousin who she hoped would be happy to see her.
