Hector grew up and lived in the city of Chicago, known as the City that never sleeps. His parents were hard working and carrying parents, who didn’t have much spare time from their jobs. His father was a marine, whilst his mother was an actress, this meant that his parents had a busy work schedule and were away for long period of times. He had spent a lot of time growing up with his neighbour who had looked after him whilst his parents were at work. He grew very close to his neighbour knowing her since he was three, she was the only person who he had trusted and felt most comfortable around. Hector didn’t have many friends at school, there were a few people who he trusted although he had none that he had trusted the most and felt most comfortable around other than his neighbour.

A few months before Hector’s 16 birthday, his neighbour……………… had told him that she was moving away to Atlanta away from Chichago because her paretns was offered a job promotion which meant that she was going to move away and to leave Hector behind. Hector was having to say goodbye to the only person who had he felt himself around, he didn’t know what he was going to do without her living next to him. It was also around the same time when he had noticed strange things happening, after waking up one morning he had noticed a tribal tattoo that had appeared on his lower back. He had no idea, how or why it had gotten there. He decided to go and ask his parents about it not wanting to hide and bottle it up. As he asked his parents about his tattoo, he felt a little bit afraid to tell them, that he was going crazy. He had noticed that he was able to light the flame of a candle by just glancing at it, setting it alight. He parents knew what was happening to him, and they had told him that he was an initia. Someone who was human although there were a type of species who were able to control a single element, and that his was fire.

Although after Hector found out what he was and what he was able to do, he had acted like he was normal and didn’t have the power to control and manipulate fire. He continued to stay in contact with ………., she was still there for him whenever he needed her and she would come down and drive to Chicago, a couple of time when he needed her and her help. Hector had quit school, and then had decided what he wanted to do in later in life where he had started his education to learn to become a firefight. He had always felt stronger near fire, and had loved the idea of helping and saving people with his power. Hector was very skilled and had learnt all of the learning that he needed to know to become a fire fighter. At the age of 20 he was offered to work as a lieutenant for the recuse team. He had become of the the youngrst squad leader in the history of firefighters, he was fully committed to his job and never looked sideways although not for the first two year. Soon later …. Moved back to Chicago and had joned him and started work as a paramedic who had worked in the same station as he did, he was happy that she was back.

A couple of years passed, Hector had found a woman who his had fallen in love with who had become his fiancé, although …. didn’t like his fiancé who loved everyone. Hector didn’t care of what she had thought and that she was jealous that he had found someone who wasn’t her, that night they had a fight. Where she had told him that she couldn’t just drop everything go every time he needed her. Especially not when she had to watch him throw his life away on a woman who had evil plans. She left that day after not saying where to, and stopped responding calls. Hector ignored her concerns about his fiancé and continued seeing her. When there was cut downs on the station later his fiancé left an accusation that he had used her and he risked losing his job and career, however as always ……. turned up and solved things but she left soon again. Hector stayed in Chicago and worked a few more years until he turned 25 then he transferred to Evermore city to get a clean start and learn more about his element with the help of the initia population that he had heard had residence nearby he …….. figured things out and is now seen as best friends again.
