Jasper was born to, what in the time, was an unusual family. He was adopted, with two dads Pilot and Landon. The two fathers were everything Jasper would need in his life, and they raised him well. 
Jasper had always been lanky with little muscle build up but as a preteen, was always in the gym. 

Jasper was bullied from a young age, not only for having two fathers, but because of how geeky he was. He struggled to speak to women full stop, but he found he looked more at the men that the women anyway. (Another factor he was bullied over)

When Jasper hit the age of around 15, he awoke one morning to find a sun tattoo on his wrist, He laughed it off at first, Thinking it was his dads joking around with him. He went downstairs with a cocky roll of his eyes 'Funny dads, midnight tattoo's. You'd best hope this comes off' But his fathers drew up blank. They didn't tattoo Jasper, So where did the sun come from? A sick feeling possessed Jasper because the tattoo hurt like hell. 
The nights that followed, Jasper would awake dripping with sweat after painful nightmares of 16 animals, the same 16 animals every single night. His fathers begged doctors to help poor Jasper, but they couldn't do a thing. 
A week after the sun appeared, Jasper woke up in the woods far away from his home, surrounded by people who looked as animalistic as the animals in his dreams. They told him he had been tapped to be a shifter. At first Jasper laughed and said 'Whats that, some drug?' but no one else laughed. 
The following day they performed a ritual, To which animal he would become. Jasper felt as if he was still waiting for his fathers to jump out and scream punk at him.

During the ritual, Each animal spirit, morphed within blue smoke, approached him and sniffed at him, or clawed at his shaggy hair before moving off. The last two were the ferret, a little tiny thing that looked like a ball of blue smoke, and a great big bear that loomed over them all. The bear dropped to all fours then and approached Jasper. He wasn't afraid and, instead of staying on all fours like he had been, Jasper stood shakily. His feet like lead beneath him. The bear raised its huge paw and plunged it into Jaspers chest before the smoke seeped into his skin. 

The next events had to be told to him from the people present as he had passed out. According to them, Jasper and the bear became one and Jasper now always had the bear, growling in his ear. This made Jasper feel as if he were never alone in the world, it made him feel...accepted. 

Now, shifting was the most painful and difficult experience of his life, many times when his front end was human and his back end was a bear, or the other way around, he begged to be killed, for the pain to end. The first time Jasper successfully shifted, it was like he became a man. He knew exactly who he was, and exactly what he was.
Jasper Quint, A sad lonely boy from no where in-particular...Was now a shifter. He was now an Aduitor in fact (Second in command.)

Shifting became easier from then and 14 years down the line, Jasper and the Ursus (bear) had become one. He had gratefully taken up the Aduitor role beside their leader Grayson Aryan, Leonis The lion. He also developed the gift of relieving the mental pain of those who asked for his help. 

Jasper never dropped his geeky persona however, and Speaking to women he wanted to flirt with never became easier for him. However, when he was speaking strong and bold as Aduitor, he was perfectly fine. His two fathers were very proud of him, But their human bodies didn't last much longer. When Jasper was 21, Pilot passed away of natural illness and it seemed Landon passed of a broken heart. But sometimes at night, when the great bear basks in the light of the fullmoon, Jasper can see them smile down to him from the stars. 

Personality Traits:

Jasper is confident in himself and is a strong-minded character, able to withstand the physical, mental and emotional pain of being bullied through his life. He also has a strong sense of right and wrong.
Unfortunately, Jasper also has a very short fuse and a nasty temper. He also excludes himself and is extremely independent, not entirely for his own good. Jasper is also a serious grudge holder, and rarely forgives people for crossing his trust boundaries.
