I guess you can say this was a family job, considering the fact that Katherine’s mom (Joanne Marissa Rome ) has been studying the history of supernatural since she was 17, she wished that her daughter followed in her footsteps from the day she was born till the time she was old enough to know how to read.

Katherine’s suddenly desire happened at 17 years old, the same as her mother when her father Clyde Leonardo Rome died in the woods while camping. The doctors claimed it was an animal attack but Katherine and her mother knew differently. They knew what hid in the woods as Clyde too had been suspicious and went into the woods searching for answers.

At the age of 18, Katherine built a tracking device, she hoped she could find the mythical creature that killed her father . People felt she was going insane because she stayed in her lab day and night looking for answers, maybe she was going insane? But she wasn’t going to stop.
