Family: None
Keon Forfax Tyrus was born into a pure Nephilim family on September 2nd, 1995 in Sydney, Australia. His family was a wealthy family, they lived on the harbor near the Sydney harbor bridge and it was a beautiful sight. Keon was a healthy baby boy, his mother taking care of him whenever his father was away as well as his siblings, two brothers and one sister, all of them were Nephilims. His brothers were twins, their names were Jaylen and Ryan. His sister’s name was Stephanie. However, Keon was the youngest out of the family.
As Keon grew older, he began to learn about their species and what they could do. His mother taught him a lot about the species although his mother mentioned that he’d have to train to fight when he is a little older, around seven or eight years old. He was interested and was proud to be a Nephilim. Jaylan and Ryan also taught him a few things, like how he’d get scars on his shoulder blades.
Keon was soon going to school and making new friends but he was told to never tell anyone about what they were. He understood that as the humans might threaten their species even if they were angels. At a young age, he was a pretty smart kid. He always had straight A’s and occasionally he had a few B’s. The one subject he didn’t like was Sport. He wasn’t very athletic and kids used to bully him for that which made him somewhat sad but he tried to ignore it.
Once he turned seven years old, when his father came home one afternoon and ordered Keon to come into the backyard. He was a little scared as his father had a stern look on his face, his other brothers and his sister came to watch him for his first fighting class. His mother was currently out of the house and was unable to watch him for the first time.
His father, Glenn cleared his throat. ‘’Keon, have you thought about which weapon you'd like to choose?’’ He asked his son and rose his brow at him. Keon shook his head shyly and looked down to his feet, biting his lip. ‘’I don’t know what weapons there is, sir. I’ve seen Stephanie’s and the twins weapons but I don’t know what there is.’’ He explained to his father nervously as his hands fidgeted at his side.
Keon was always nervous around his father as he felt like his father was ashamed of him being brought into this world. It was as if his father sensed something that was different about him. His father pinched his nose and sighed in frustration, his eyes flickered over to his siblings. ‘’Why didn’t you guys show him? There’s a whole room of them.’’ His father grumbled in annoyance before he shook his head.
‘’We were going to do it, sir but mother told us that we shouldn’t yet.’’ Ryan said as he came to stand beside his youngest brother. His father understood and turned on his heel, ‘’come on, Keon. Let’s go choose your weapon.’’ Glenn said then began to walk off towards the shed near the pool. Keon was always told by his mother that he was not allowed to go inside the tool shed but apparently it wasn’t a tool shed. It was filled with various weapon that his father collected throughout his life.
‘’Take a look but be wise about your chosen weapon.’’ His father advised him as he went to stand in the corner of the shed as he waited patiently for his son to choose the weapon. ‘’Yes, sir.’’ Keon mumbled as he looked at the various weapons that were hung off hooks and windows. Some were rather intense like an Axe for an example. He knew what his siblings weapons were but he wanted to be a little more different compared to their chosen weapons. He walked over to view all the different spears, one caught his eye and he slowly picked it up.
Both ends with sharp and pointy, different colored ends and he held it, feeling the weight of it. ‘’I like this one,’’ he grinned as he spun it around in his hand in 360 degrees circle. ‘’It’s perfect,’’ he said in a happy tone and his siblings were surprised by his choice of weapon. His father nodded, ‘’are you sure you want that weapon?’’ Glenn asked and crossed his arms along his chest.
Keon nodded and looked at his father, ‘’yes father, I want the spear.’’ He may be a seven year old kid but he was rather mature since he was taught to be this way. And he was smart with his choices. ‘’Very well, let’s get on with the training.’’ His father was quick to exit the ‘tool shed’ and went outside, Keon followed behind as well his siblings.
And since that day, throughout his childhood and his weapon he had chosen. Keon was quick to learn on how to use his Spear. As months went by, he was getting better at it and also won a few training sessions against his brothers and sister. He was fast and also quick with the Spear, his attacks were smooth and perfect. His father was very proud of him at how quick he was dealing with the fighting and how understanding he was with his weapon.
As he turned ten years old, his sister was becoming jealous of Keon as she used to be the one who was always praised by their father but Keon took over and he was the best out of all of them. He didn’t want to brag about it but he knew his sister was jealous because his sister used to try very hard at their sessions yet Keon always won against her. This led to have an accident between them at one of their sessions due to his sister’s jealousy, her sharp dagger went into his chest and created a rather large wound close to his heart.
Chaos ran through the family after it was done, his sister was surprised by her actions and how strong her jealousy was towards her brother and felt rather guilty. His father wasn’t impressed by her actions but forgave her and was lucky that Keon wasn’t killed. Glenn healed Keon’s chest and made sure he was alright but Keon had to stop fighting for a little while to rest his wound since it was so close to his heart. This created a rather large scar that lied across his chest near where his heart was.
From that day, his sister grew more distant of him and she wanted nothing to do with him. It wasn’t the jealousy this time, it was more the guilt that was inside of her. He already accepted her apology but she didn’t want to be near him because she may hurt him again. He was sad that his sister was acting like this but it looked like he couldn't change the way she feels.
As time went on and months flew by since the accident that happened in the fighting room, he was now thirteen years old and when he was about to go to school and getting ready, when he looked into the mirror of his bathroom. He was shirtless at the time and he noticed on both of his thick black scars appeared along his shoulder.
He also noticed that the light from the bathroom above him also gave away that his eyes have slightly changed color, they had a purple tinge to them. He honestly loved the color that were on his eyes. He announced to his family that he received his black thick scars and showed them to his siblings and his parents were proud and as well as his eyes that had that purple tinge to them.
When he started to go to high school... that’s when things started to change for him. His classmates were starting to bully him because of the way he dressed thinking he was too ‘girly’ but he wasn’t dressed girly. He thought it was normal the way he dressed just like the other guys in the school but apparently, he was different and that’s when the feelings inside of him changed. Girls and boys laughed at his appearance, that’s when school began to feel strange for him. He didn’t know why or how this was happening but he was starting to feel attracted to the hot boys in his class. He hid it of course since it started to freak him out.
He wasn’t sure why he was scared or what has gotten to him in the first place, he just wasn’t sure this was called. He didn’t what to tell any of his friends but his ‘friends’ didn’t really want to hang out with him anymore because of the rumors. The word ‘gay’ was soon spread out the school and he was also called a disease.
This went on for several months and he finally told the school’s principal and he didn’t do anything about it. With that being said, he began to get rather depressed by this. Of course, he tried to hide it from his family but both of his brothers were concerned for him and asked what was wrong. The answer they received was, ‘’nothing, I’m fine.’’ They knew that he was lying.
The next few days were rather horrible for him, he had gotten into a fight with one of the bullies although he had defended himself rather well but he didn’t have his weapon because of course, they weren’t allowed weapons at school. He was rather emotional throughout this period and he had broken down after he lost a fight with one of the bullies, leading him to have a black eye and various bruises along his body. When he went home that night, his mother was worried and she asked what was wrong he couldn’t lie to her. He explained everything that was happening to him at school and his mother grew furious and immediately, she told him not to go to school anymore.
That’s when his mother home schooled him for the next few months, he passed his exams online and his mother was really proud at how well he was doing. He soon applied for colleges that were in America, wanting to experience what it was was like over there. He may be Australian but anything is possible to do this especially since he wanted to pursue a music career. It took a few turn downs but he was finally accepted into a music arts college in Los Angeles. He was beyond excited and stoked about the results.
His siblings including his sister were very happy for him, after he told them the results of being accepted into college. He definitely knew what his sexuality was and why he was bullied so much although, he doesn’t let it bother him anymore. He knew he was stronger than any of the other bullies that were at his old school. He admitted that he was homosexual to his family, he was rather scared and nervous on how their reaction was going to be but they accepted and supported him as well as his father, even if he felt a bit strange about it.
As tickets were booked and his things were all packed and ready to go to college, he said farewell to his family and that he’d visit whenever he could. He hugged both of the twins and his sister tightly. And then, he was off to Los Angeles to pursue his music career and experience an entirely new country for him.
Being in college was a rather different turn for him, he experienced high and lows while he was there. He missed his family quite a lot but he tried to focus on his studies but sometimes it didn’t always work. He spoke to them whenever he could and tried to make a future out of his degree and wanted to work at it. He was in college for a few years but soon it didn’t feel like it was for him, with that, he dropped out of college and found a part time job at a local general store. It may not be his passion but it worked for the moment, he liked working with the people he was with at the store.
Once he got enough money, he decided to find another apartment in Evermore City, Colorado. He hasn’t heard anything bad about the city and he figured it’d be a fresh start for him. Again, he packed all his things up and moved out of the college dorm and headed off to his new apartment thinking that this city was a normal city. He arrived at the city and he was pleased to see how well it turned out to be. He loved how different it was compared to LA. He unpacked and settled into the house he was in and decided he wanted something to eat after the big moving day.
He was walking through a park to get to a store when he spotted something rather strange, a wolf that was sprinting away not too far from him. His brow arched curiously and he decided to follow the wolf until he stumbled upon a thick forest. He didn’t have his weapon on him and he decided not go further… He sighed, heading back into the city and went to the store.
Until he heard a scream, a rather feminine scream and he quickly raced back outside to see that someone was drinking from a human. Instantly he went over to the vampire and grabbed him from the human, pulling him back and shook his head. He shoved the vampire aside and made sure the girl was protected then the vampire suddenly disappeared out of sight. He checked on the human girl and made sure her wound was going to be alright. He thought about this city, it wasn’t just any city now, it was a Supernatural city. He wondered what other species were here…
As the next couple of days went smoothly and nothing out of the ordinary happened, he decided to take a night walk through the city. But that’s when he spotted something in the sky, it looked peculiar and odd that it was coming straight towards the city. Many people seemed to notice, it was getting closer and closer. And he didn’t expect the impact to happen, as the comet hit the ground and it sent massive energy waves throughout the city. He was sent to the ground almost in shock by how much the ground shook from the impact of the comet.
After a few minutes of the comet being hit, he felt different as if he felt complete. As he stood, his shirt ripped into pieces and two pure white shiny wings extended from his black thick scars on his shoulder blades. A soft gasp left him and he fluttered them, he couldn’t believe he had wings now. They were beautiful. Soon, he began to lift himself up in the sky and he felt free. He smiled, a true genuine smile as he felt amazed how much the wings gave him. He flew towards his apartment and landed on his balcony of course he was being careful of humans being around. He was happy and excited he had his wings, he felt like a real Nephilim now.
Now, that he has lived here for a year and finding his way round the place, he decided to go back to college and continue to do his music career, hoping that he would be successful in making his music and would be able to concentrate more. He loved his life here and he wouldn’t change it for the world.
