Born to Clarissa Darwin and Dylan O’Hare one Nephilim and the other Phoenix. The pair knew they couldn’t look after their young daughter, being only teenagers they believed that placing her up for adoption would be the best thing for her. But her grandparents refused to allow a Nephilim or Phoenix child to be raised outside the life she would one day have to live, so they offered to take the young child from her parents and raise her. Something that made both of her parents happy they knew that their child would have great childhood, and they would be able to see her everyday without fail and just pretend to be her cousins. So that is what happened both sets of grandparents raising Lauren and both teaching her about the Nephilim’s and the Phoenix, even teaching her from a young age how to fight and defend herself.

Growing up with her family you could say was amazing. There was not a bad thing you could say about them, they always made sure she had everything she needed and everything she could possibly need for the future. Making sure she attended school like a normal child Lauren didn’t really find it all that hard to make friends, however her family knew too well that one day they would need to allow her aunts and uncles who lived in Evermore City see her. So every summer she would go and visit them seeing, and enjoy really living her life in all different ways no matter how hard it got at times. Lauren never complained to her she had the best family that you could ever meet or want, but that all soon changed when she reached the age of 6 finding out that those who were supposed to be her cousins were actually her parents.

Lauren soon grew to resent her family even if her life with them was amazing. They still lied to her telling her that Clarissa and Dylan were her cousins, the young 6 year old didn’t know how she could ever trust her family again. However her parents soon stepping up they took control raising their daughter; they soon began to build a strong bond with her and soon enough Lauren gave into her parents, she then grew to understand why her parents had decided to let her grandparents raise her. They were only teens themselves when she was born and now they had stepped up to the mark and were taking on the right roles, Lauren knew right away that her life was going to be just fine. Becoming a daddy’s girl knowing too well her father was a Phoenix, Lauren grew closer to the Phoenix side of her family wanting to one day be like her father but also wanting to be like her mother.

She knew that it was going to be down to whatever happened to her in the future. For all she knew she could become a Phoenix or she could become a Nephilim, but all she did know is that she was close to her father and she wasn’t going to allow anyone to take that away from her. Continuing to grow up within her family Lauren soon began to take a liking to Evermore City. A place where she had been sent to every Summer, to spend time with her aunts and uncles who lived within the city. That was when her parents decided it would be time to move there; to give her a chance to spend more time with her aunts and uncles, they said goodbye to their parents and traveled to Evermore City. Where they got house easily enough and got their daughter back into school, where she continued her studies before graduating and landing herself in a spot at Evermore College. Lauren’s fate was then decided for her when she noticed scars on her back which meant the Nephilim had taken her, she wasn’t all that happy but soon grew used to the fate she had now been picked up by she was going to be like her mother. However after becoming happy with her new found species, that was all soon to collapse when the massacre had broke Evermore City. Claiming the lives of many people and one her mother Lauren was left with serious doubts about what could become of her in future, she was a Nephilim and her father a Phoenix.

Determined to make things work for her in this city, even if her father did have doubts about staying here at first, Lauren knew now that this was all going to be down to hopefully what was left of her family staying together, and if not then she would have to accept the fate that had been planned for her. Continuing her life even though she was upset her father then left Evermore City; explaining to her that he would be back soon Lauren accepted his choice on leaving, however leaving her soon lead to something much more surprising. Not hearing from her father in months Lauren believed he had just left her life forever, and she moved into the Nephilim Community of Evermore City. Where she then later went on to a meeting that was going to change her and everyone’s lives forever, a comet rushed across the sky causing extreme pains for everyone and by the time she had awakened. She had wings beautiful white wings that were spread out and it was from that moment that she knew her life was never going to be the same again.

Now Lauren has a steady job working as a DJ at a famous nightclub in the city. She has opened her eyes to a whole new world and is ready to take anything on, however all she hopes is that one day she will be able to see her father again and hopefully that bond with him will be still there and she will never have to say goodbye to him again.
