The Moretz family is a family that are originally based in France. A small family of shifters the Moretz family were apart of a small pack which was based in the woods in France. A quiet type of family they kind of kept to themselves apart from the pack meetings and the odd party. So it was really not all that surprising that when they had children, that it would more or less be the same kind of life for them. Born October 31st Leah was the second born child of the Moretz family. So she didn’t really have all that much to work for especially since from the moment she was born she was the sparkle of her father’s eye. Being able to grow up like a normal child Leah’s childhood was great, she never needed to do anything she didn’t want to and she didn’t need to feel like she had to live up to anyone within her family unit. However apart of her missed her brother more than anyone could ever imagine, since the moment she was born Leah could only ever remember being close with her brother a few times a month.

So when she was able to speak she finally screamed out her brothers name. Allowing her father to finally understand that she didn’t just need her parents she needed her brother too. It was from there that Leah got to spend more time with her brother, finally the pair of them were able to grow up and have a proper childhood. However when her mother explained about why her father was like this Leah did feel bad for her father. She never would have believed it only her mother had went out of her way to explain it. Seeing how her father was affected when Leah was able to play alone without her brother she brought her father out with her, to play simple games she allowed her father to see that even being an adult you could still live as a child too. This was something her father was surprised at his little girl understood more than he ever would have thought. She was really teaching him how to live again and that only caused her father to loosen up more. Leah was also from that day able to see she didn’t only have a father figure within her own father she also had another brother or friend.

As she began to get older she and her brother became closer just like she and her father had, even her mother had became closer to them. Although as Leah turned 10 she began to notice how her father had this odd tattoo on his arm of the sun, of course being curious when she spotted it on her mother she began to question. Asking her mother and father to teach her about the shifters the parents soon knew since Adam was at this stage, it seemed only fair to do the same for Leah too. Explaining to her that there was not only sun shifters there was moon was as well. Leah felt shocked to hear that one part of the pack had become extinct and no longer roamed the earth in the packs they used to. She couldn’t help but feel curious and wonder if the moon shifters would one day be able to rise from the ground again, and not only take away that extincted sign but also join the two packs together again and become one. It wasn’t that long after that Leah’s mother began to teach her the basics of defending herself. To her parents Leah still was not at the right age to be taught at the same level as her brother, but thankfully she was still able to watch and know one day she’d be able to learn what he was. Which turned out it was the next year that Leah was learning how to fight and defend herself.

Although none like her brother Leah was able to mix both her family life and her interest within the shifters together, so that she didn’t lose either her friends, family or the life she would one day have to face. Noticing her brother pulling back from her Leah just let him go. No longer finding it interesting that her brother was playing games, she continued on with both attending school and her own little life without her brother. It was only as she turned 13 she noticed her brother trying to get back into her life, which thankfully she allowed him to come into with open arms. To her everyone did make mistakes and it was simple to fall into a serious interest with something that could make you something or ruin you. Which to Leah she was hoping it would be the making of both her and her brother, as she knew the future was coming in quickly she couldn’t help but feel this horrible worry rush over her. When it came to her brother’s final year in school. She knew it would not be that long after that he’d be claimed by the shifter’s and she would be left behind as normal.

However that didn’t happen. Just as she thought her life was perfect again everything was turned upside down, her mother began to get threats which forced the family to leave their hometown of France and move across the world. This was were they landed themselves within Colorado Springs, a beautiful place that Leah really grew to love and enjoy. She started back to school right away and was able to make friends without a single problem, she was even able to learn the American English accent easily enough. Although she could tell that Adam wasn’t pleased about being forced back into school, and that people were not as accepting of him as they were of her. So Leah being determined she began to challenge those people without her brother knowing, explaining to them that it wasn’t what was on the outside that mattered it was what was on the inside. It was from there that she noticed her brother had grew not only into a handsome young man, but he was also a double of their father. A man who never allowed people to judge him and just keep his head raised higher than the others. Although Leah wasn’t 100% sure she liked how her brother thought of times, but she knew he was a sweet kind soul and it would only take the right people to see that to help them understand.

It was only as it came closer to Adam graduating that Leah noticed him focusing less on those who picked on him and more on his exams, that she decided to do the same focusing more on things which could give her a better outlook on life. Her brother graduated leaving her to follow in his footsteps however none like her brother, Leah wanted to go out with a bang. she finished her final years of school in Evermore High school, and that was where she planned something mysterious she sure did go out with a bang surprising all the parents. Leah had not only caused her school to cheer she’d caused all those who attended the graduation to cheer as well. It was also from there that she agreed to go to the same college as her brother. Leah hadn’t only out did her brother in one thing she had also managed to land herself a spot in the same college. Why would she want this? Nobody did actually know. The only person who could tell you that was Leah and she sure wasn’t going to give away her reasons, on why she wanted to attend the same college as her brother. However just like her brother Leah didn’t move into the Shifter Community, she and Adam had both decided to live outside of it unable to feel like the sun shifters were who they were. They moved into their new lives outside of the shifter pack while their parents moved into it. It was from there that Leah didn’t allow her past to live her life anymore for her, she said goodbye to all the bad things and went on to college. Studying a degree in dentistry. Leah finally began to feel that part of her life was changing and if it wasn’t only for the good it was definitely for the better.

However that life she had soon grew to love and cherish soon began to change. When a massacre had managed to rip through the town like wild forest fire, Leah was soon protected by none other than her big brother who made sure she was alright. Though the first thing Leah thought about was her parents, they had not been in contact with them since the massacre. Which right away sent alarm bells ringing in both Adam and Leah’s minds. Causing her to drop everything and following her brother to the Shifter Community. This massive relief passed over them as they found their parents hidden and alive. That was when both agreed that it would be best for the family to move in together, which thankfully they all agreed to and the family were finally reunited under the same roof again. The Moretz family had also thankfully not fallen victims to the massacre. Leah and her family soon began to rebuild their lives and only looking forward to the future, they never would have expected what would be coming to hit Evermore City next. A few months after that horrific massacre the city soon came under another threat only not one they could fight, one that actually came from the sky and it was none as the comet.

The comet which was going to change all those who lived in Evermore City forever. So it was really a surprise that when the shifter’s had called a meeting, that they had gotten an invite to join the sun shifters in the meeting to speak about the moon and sun shifters coming together again. This was something Leah knew they couldn’t pass up and both agreed to attend the meeting of the sun and moon shifters. Going with her brother Leah attended this meeting noticing how her brother soon began to act weird, Leah couldn’t help but feel this horrible burning soon strike her shoulder blade. Not even managing to ask her brother a question this horrific pain struck all those who had attended the meeting, causing them to fall and hide one by one Leah and her brother were soon pushed into the ditch they’d fallen by. The unknown male who’d helped them the sound of the female voice telling them to take cover. That is all Leah could remember the rest to her was blank like a dark cloud had made it impossible for her to see.

It was only as Leah began to wake up a short time after that all those pains she had felt before were gone. As if they never existed however she could remember the burning in her shoulder blade which her brother soon looked pleased. Leah on the other hand noticing the moon tattoo upon her brother’s forearm she soon realized that the pair of them had been tapped, her brother by the moon Leah soon discovered she’d been tapped by the moon as well. The sun and the moon shifters were finally one again, and this time Leah didn’t fear the sun shifters anymore she seen them as family. From then on ward Leah hasn’t thought about the changes which happened to her and the others that night, in fact she thinks of it like some kind of dream that was now a reality. She thinks more now of the future and of all the good things that could possibly happen for them. All Leah hopes now is that the sun and the moon shifters remain together and that the moon shifters will never be lead into extinction ever again.
