Scarlet Dimera was born and raised in Russia but she could sense from the very beginning that she was not an ordinary child. She used to notice her parents training hard and see them almost having supernatural healing powers but even after her repeated endeavours to question them, they said nothing to her. Why? Her parents wanted to be sure that she grew up normally with a strong understanding of her life.

They decided that they would only tell her about their abilities when she was old enough to understand. As Scarlet began to attend the local school, she started to get bullied each day and feeling upset and frustrated decided that maybe it would be best if she was home-schooled, but her parents refused.They demanded that she stand up for herself for they knew deep down that she was a lot stronger than she was giving herself credit for.

Scarlet returned to school. Only this time she was a completely new person from the moment she walked past the school doors, and as the bullies started to pick on her all over again, she stopped dead in her tracks and snapped, punching the leader of the gang that was picking on her. She then made it known that she wasn’t going to let them pick on her anymore, and she wasn’t going to be their victim.

When her parents heard about that, they were very proud and decided to tell her all about her being a Dhampir. They explained their powers and strengths and weakness to her. On her 18th birthday, the entire family assembled in their family dojo as Scarlet began with her weapon claiming ceremony. She tried a lot of weapons, but in the end the Balasiong sword, chose her, emitting an fiery red colour as she held them.

From that time on, she brought them everywhere together with her. Despite being a supernatural, she still continued with her normal life, attending college wanting to study medicine and become a local doctor. At her college’s annual day, she had invited her parents to attend along with her but  what started to be an amazing evening ended in a complete disaster. Just as the event was in progress, suddenly gunshots could be heard from all directions as a group of masked men entered. They were many in number and they started randomly shooting people. Chaos erupted and with people running and screaming from various directions, it was tough for anyone to see what was clearly going on. Explosions were blowing off in random places and the once beautiful auditorium was not just a deserted place with ruins and dead bodies.

Scarlet escaped the place with injuries but when she tried to find her parents, she saw that they had been shot multiple times especially in the heart and did not have the time or the energy to recover. Devastated she decided to leave Russia and find new place to live as  it was too painful stay in her home-town and be here in that place that had killed her parents.

Hearing about a flourishing community of Dhampirs in Evermore city, she decided to go there and stay. It was a new place and a new beginning and meeting with the ambassador Valeria and the other Dhampirs, Scarlet was happy to leave the past behind and start all over again, looking forward to what this city had to offer.
