Growing up in an orphanage was normal for Mina. Watching the various types of people that roamed the halls, getting to know the different perspectives and seeing into the minds of the individuals. The world was a puzzle in her mind; pieces fitting together perfectly or not so perfectly. Some pieces were too small, too big, too jagged, too thin, etc. It made her learn to view things and live with an open mind. It made Mina more accepting than her fellow peers and made her wonder what lay beyond the barriers or her secluded world. She was polite, obedient and intelligent. She studied her heart out, day after day while everyone around her had fun. What was she missing out on? What opportunities awaited her? In her young mind, she thought she would never know.

Mina was just a few hours old when her mother passed away. She had died of bloodloss due to child birth, causing her father to spirial downward. It wasn't too long before a nurse found him beside his wife. He had took his own life; leaving his only child behind. Well, that was the story she was told when she was older. It's unknown if her parents are dead or alive. Another version was they just left, another, they gave her away, or many others. It didn't matter, with no family, Mina was sent to an orphange. Once there, two of the care workers who knew the truth about her, took her in. They had trained her since she was able to walk and taught her how to tell friend from foe. She was not informed about her Nephilim herritage just yet. Now was not the time.

Mina was a dreamer, often thinking about other places, venturing around the world in her own mind and thinking of all the possibilities she could have. The stars in the night sky was her only escape. She wanted out of this place, tired of the same old routine of chores, school, training and reading by herself. She was grateful for everything the two care workers did for her, but she craved adventure, she craved freedom. It wasn't until Mina was sixteen years old did it happen. She was studying alone in her room, when she felt a powerful pain begin in her back. It was enough to drop her to her knees, cry out in pain and think she was dying. With the two workers at her side and the hours of pain had finally ended, she noticed there were markings on her back and a purple tinge in her eyes she could see in certain lights.

Mina demanded answers and they came immediately. Her parents were both Nephilim, and what happened to them is still unknown. While learning about the supernatural world, she trained for another year. At the age of 17, she packed her things and set off for Evermore City with money she had earned through small jobs. Mina didn't stay in contact with her care workers, to keep them safe, just in case. Living in a small appartment, with a part time job at a cafe, she went to school and earned both her Bachelor's degree in Forestry and National Resources Management. At the age of 22, she became a Forest Ranger.

A few years of living in Evermore City, Mina is still unsure of everything around her. The place, the people and her decision to be there. Nevertheless, she's determinded as ever, believing the stars to be on her side.
