Naomi was born into a normal, happy family. Everything was normal in her life, perfect... just a little too perfect. Her life mainly consisted of training by her father and extra education by her mother. She was sent to a normal public school before being transferred to a qualified British boarding school, a few towns away from her home. Naomi was a straight A student in her boarding school, always first in everything, perfectly capable of handling anything and everything, but that was until she returned home for Christmas one night to find her mother gone.

The young girl was heartbroken to hear about her mother fleeing away, leaving her in the care of her father. However, she needed to know the answers, needed to know why her mother decided to leave this perfect place she called home but her father was too heartbroken and thought of her as too young to explain it all and even after constant pleadings, he didn't refused to tell her. Returning to the boarding school, Naomi's life changed, she struggled to cope up with her grades, almost failing in her classes, trying hard to concentrate but the only thing she could concentrate on was trying to find reasons for her mother's departure.

Naomi's father began to worry about her daughter and finally on her fifteenth birthday, he realized she needed to know the truth. Naomi returned home just the day before her birthday to find her father rocking in his chair, a glass of whisky in his hand as they sat by the fire, opening a new chapter in Naomi's life. That night, Naomi came to know about the supernaturals. She came to know how she wasn't a human, she was a nephilim, a half-angel. Naomi was shocked to listen to her father's words, especially when he told her how her mother couldn't handle the truth of him being a nephilim and left them.

The next day was a new day for Naomi, a new start. Her father had now promised to train the young nephilim harder, boosting her abilities to fight, survive. Naomi's grades started to go back to the usual A's as she grew and when she was old enough, the young british lady stumbled upon the city of Evermore and with the guidance from her father and his constant support, decided to finally settle down in the city with the other nephilims in the community.
