Nicholas and Michelle were a couple madly in love  who knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Even if their family didn’t agree. So the couple ran away from their home town in the mountains of Virginia when Michelle was just seventeen years old. She and he eloped and Nicholas promised she'd never have to go back to her controlling father ever again. Though Michelle was devastated she'd have to live her sister Agatha behind, but Agatha understood. Michelle didn't understand who she was either. Their mother died in a car accident when they were just ten years old. She never had the chance to tell them that they were special. She never got a chance to tell Michelle, but she did Leave a journal of everything she knew to her other daughter.

Michelle and Nicholas lived a simple life for most of it. She got pregnant with Noelle when she was 20 and they were traveling the world, and even though Michelle wasn't ready to give up a beautiful life with just her and Nick she wanted to meet something she created. It was only right and on the April 11th 1996 the ever beautiful dark haired beauty was born and Michelle had never been more in love. Michelle never told Nicholas that she had abilities. She never told him that she was having issues controlling them, because she tried so hard to conceal them from everyone. And for the few years they had. She was almost successful. Nicholas caught her when she was pregnant with their son making the water in the bathtub pulsate to cure her back aches. Nicholas grew worried and decided that it was best they moved somewhere far away and secluded.

Unfortunately Michelle never made it Melharbor Maine. A beautiful town with only 700 people in it. A town where mermaids were legend and Nicholas thought that his daughter was safe and for her childhood she was. Her mother Michelle Delpar died when she was giving birth brother Nicholas named after her brother. Although her brother Nicholas died after birth due to complications. Before Michelle died she made Nicholas  to make a promise he was forced to make. To make sure that they keep the secret of what Michelle and her family were from Noelle. So she’d never know about her mother's life, her powers or her other relatives. He still wrote Agatha about her from time to time, but she never responded just a postcard from Evermore with thank you written on the back, and he never thought to stop by.

Noelle Delpar, a young woman who has big dreams of being a traveling photographer, grew up in a life where she wasn't supposed to be. Noelle came to the age of discovery and discovered she liked boys and girls. But she truly only had eyes for Atera Blackard. A girl with blue hair and eyes that could make the sun look dull. She was in love with her and to Noelle's constant praying to her mother the feeling was mutual. They started dating in 7th grade all the way until 11th when something happened.

She was swimming in her backyard (Her home back yard used to be a private beach. Nicholas used his parents inherence to buy the best for him his wife and his children.) a current came and pushed her too far out, and she held her hand lifted up the ocean bended to her hand. It gave her enough time to catch her breath though she was already petrified and frantic that something so scary came from her. Her hands allowed the ocean to bend to her will to her frantic will causing her to crash and thrash against the water until it eventually landed her on the shore.

She felt electric, she felt like she finally understood why water felt like home to her, and even though she didn't understand what was happening to her she wanted to. She'd find a way. When she walked in the house after the thrashing of the ocean she felt like she was beaten to death, but she still felt alive enough to check the kitchen table. Where an Envelope sat with her name on it.

You don't know me. I'm sure you've barely got any memories with your mother. I am the closest thing to your mother you can get. I am your Aunt Agatha. Aunt Aggy for short. I've always dreamed of you calling me that. I hope that one day you will and not out of obligation. I am writing because it's April 1st and knowing the mail this probably will reach you before your 16th birthday, but I want this to be heard from me, because I doubt your father knows one half of what the hell you are.

Noelle your grandmother was born of a special breed of people. Initia the people of the land if you want to be your grandmother about it. We can control the worlds elements. I am one with fire. I could walk through it if I wanted, but I'm not going to. I'm sure your mothers was water she was always like that. Refreshing, strong, and bringer of life. Unlike me. But that's not the point... The point is I want you to come and live with me. I'll wait until you finish this year of school and I'll expect you on JUNE 15TH.

Noelle read and re-read the letter and then she asked her father. Her father turned her around and lifted her shirt. Noticing a tribal tattoo there in plain site knowing that it's already happened. She was one of them. He looked at her with tears in his eyes. Part of him wanted this to be a lie. Part of him wanted her to be a normal teen with a girlfriend and a summer job. He wanted her to experience life without having to feel like she was alone in the world. But maybe being with her aunt wasn't such a bad idea. He agreed to let her go.

Noelle was hurt. She would have known an aunt someone who could have plugged her into her mother. He didn't and he blamed it on her mother, his wife! Like she would ask for that, and in a cold grim voice he said to her. You don't know what she went through. She left it alone after that.

Atera spent the week with her before her departure and even went with her to Evermore to get settled in. They kissed goodbye and she told her they'd make this work, Sadly that fairy tale only until Atera went to college.

 Noelle and her Aunt decided they would work on her powers. She got a job as a barista and graduated high school and went on to a college close to Evermore and got a degree in photography. She opened her own studio, and continued with the lessons and with five long years she finally got the water power mastered, but she is learning her earth skills after she got her secondary ones from the comet shower.
