Saphira Diaval was born to her wonderful noble parents on November 13, 1998 in London England. She was born in their home as a home delivery since it had snowed very early in the weeks before her birth so with the roads closed because of icy roads she was delivered at home. Her Parents knew she was just a newborn infant but she had captured many of the hearts of the British people that dearly loved her parents since they were nobles. Her parents fled with her to the America due to Esther’s ex boyfriend finding them in London after Saphira’s birth Esther and Caspian along with little Saphira left London behind them as they made a new life in New Orleans, Louisiana in the French quarter.

In 2010 at ten she learned the horrible truth by pure accident that she was not her father’s true daughter. She had went to her mother’s room to get her mother to tuck her in and read a story to her when she overheard her parents fighting about her. Being the overly curious girl that she was she listened into the fight, that was when she heard her father whom she loved dearly call her a bastard child and that she wasn’t even his to begin with. After that day her parents started to fight more often before they would try to hide that they were fighting but soon stopped fighting in front of her.

The fighting soon escalated to a breaking point Saphira was thirteen years old but she still looked nine years old. Saphira watched in horror as her mother; Esther whom had enough of hearing her husband; Caspian bad mouth Saphira for not being his biological daughter stabbed Caspian and with him being human Esther stabbed him just right causing him to die Saphira watched as the only father she had ever known fell on the floor dead. Feeling such grief and sadness she ran away hiding somewhere for a few days her father was dead.

Saphira’s mother had met her birth father a very old vampire who was quite powerful when she was in Australia but when her mother found out she was pregnant. However the vampire became obsessed with Belle, Saphira’s mother Esther he killed her family as revenge for her leaving him. So when Esther returned home finding her family slaughtered with the note that she will never be free and will always be his. So when she found her current husband Caspian she explained what had happened he married her right then and there. Esther told Saphira what became of her grandparents and why her mother ran away from Evermore, Colorado as well as telling her that she was what they called a Dhampir; a Half vampire mix breed.

After some time Esther told Saphira about her father that he used to live in Australia but could have moved to a town called Evermore, Colorado and it was home to almost every manner of supernatural beings including other Dhampirs were living in harmony. So the day she turned sixteen Saphira set out on a journey to go to Evermore to hopefully find her birth father and the place she belongs most in the world. Each day she traveled she would practice and hone her weapon skills.

On her 18th birthday she had been tracked down by her birth father; He found out her whereabouts from some of his old friends where Saphira also it was hard to find where she was in the town she was in since everyone was talking about a girl staying in one place for a few years but she never aged. Her father started to teach her about his species and told her about her own species that was when he explained about the weapon claiming ceremony. He had arranged for her weapon claiming ceremony all too soon she stood ready for the ceremony as she took up a set of twin rapiers as dusk approached she felt the connection form as her runes appeared glowing a deep royal purple. Her birth father being the only one there since he most likely never told her mother about the ceremony not quite knowing that her father had tortured and killed her mother shortly before finding her.

After the ceremony she was taken to Evermore with her father to make a new start. She looked around not sure what to make of this place she watched as her runes glowed showing that she was surrounded by supernatural beings what her mother said was true this place is home to all manner of beings. She felt a strange sense of peace wash over her she was finally home at last.
