Being apart of Initia can be easy when you know you have family around you to teach you what you are and what will happen to you, but when you are born and placed up for adoption it is a whole new story. Sasha Stokes was born on April 12th 1989 to Louise and Clayton Stokes a teenage married couple who had everything going for them, they didn’t want to have to worry about children right now. Not having any other family the two 19 year olds made the decision to place Sasha up for adoption, leaving her in the hands of the state Sasha was soon adopted by a family who lived in Canada. Where Sasha grew up in a stable loving home unknown to her who she really was, she had taken on the name of her adoptive family and had no idea who her real family really was. So to Sasha her life was just like every other childs growing up learning and just really being a good kid, she rarely got into trouble apart from the odd fight she would land herself in when people would pick on her adoptive siblings.

But as the years went by Sasha soon felt there was a part of her missing asking her adoptive family why she felt like this, that was when they finally realized they couldn’t keep her in the dark anymore. Explaining to her about her real family and why they had to give her up; they also told her that they would send her presents and cards, with every single reason or event of her life that would come up. Shocked and confused Sasha demanded to see her biological family and demanded to see those who had left her, something her new parents couldn’t help her with due to it being a closed adoption neither of the people knew one another. So Sasha was left with not only questions she never had answers to, but she could have real siblings out there and she wasn’t getting the chance to meet them. It was only as Sasha reached her teens that her real parents finally popped back into her life, without her or them knowing it they bumped into her while they were at the school she attended.

Picking up her brother Sasha felt as if she knew them somehow but was unable to pinpoint how she felt like she knew them, it was only when her mother came face to face with her that she finally put it together. This lady was her mother. Trying to reach out to grab her mother’s arm Sasha missed by a few inches and it was with those that her parents disappeared, knowing now that her parents lived in Canada she would be able to try and make proper contact. She soon got herself a job saving for about 4 years Sasha then paid for a private investigator, someone who would be able to find more out about these people she soon remembered the childs name they’d picked up. Turner Green the investigator then dug deeper only to find that these people Sasha believed were her parents, were actually her biological parents giving her the address Sasha went to confront them. However as she showed up to their house the placed looked as if nobody lived there anymore, Sasha landed herself at a dead end. No longer wanting to bother fighting Sasha just continued with her school life, no longer thinking of these people, Sasha soon noticed that Turner had disappeared from school too.

It was about a year after 2 weeks before her 18th birthday Sasha soon began to feel these horrible pains rushing through the lower part of her back, stinging which caused her to lose focus on a number of her final lessons. However managing to catch up Sasha was able to graduate; standing side by side with her friends Sasha’s adoptive family was proud to see their little girl had grew into a bright young woman, and it was on that same day that Sasha found out her element her 18th birthday falling on her graduation day. As she and her classmates threw their hats into the air her cap had caught fire, causing many others to catch light too she noticed her hands were on fire. Running away as fast as she possibly her adoptive family soon followed her however she was just too fast for them, running into the nearby woods she didn’t stop running until she reached a clearing. However she wasn’t alone her parents had seen her graduate and had also seen her element kick in for her, knowing they should have never gave her up they explained to their daughter that they had no choice. This was something that had happened to them as well and they explained it was normal, however Sasha being upset and now angry over her parents she lashed out burning both of her parents.

Sasha told them she never wanted to see them again. It was from there that Sasha returned to her adoptive home she packed everything up, writing a letter she said goodbye to them and thanking them for everything they’d done for her. Leaving Canada Sasha traveled the back roads fearing that she would hurt someone she never really stayed in one place for more than a night. Knowing too well that if she were to lose control of this monster inside her she could possibly hurt someone, it was only when she bumped into someone who was like her that she felt this feeling of relief. They helped her learn how to control her element and even told her about a city based in Colorado named Evermore City, and it was from that moment that Sasha knew where she needed to go. However she needed to practice a little more find more out about this city before she did make a single move, and that is what she done spent a year building up information and everything she would need before going to this city. Now a 19 year old Sasha was ready to make that long journey to Evermore so she could start her life over again. The pair agreeing to go together they both shared this experience together, arriving in Evermore City at 10pm at night the pair knew it was too late to get a place to live now. So they checked into a hotel until the next morning.

Working together the pair landed two jobs not long after they had gotten themselves an apartment to live, soon enough the pair began to build their lives all over again. Living for 4 long but happy years within the City, they never would have expected what would be just around the corner for them. Three days before her friend was due to go to London for two weeks a massacre hit Evermore, killing many people Sasha ended up in hospital and her friend as well however where Sasha was lucky her friend wasn’t. Dying hours later Sasha was broken to find her close friend was no longer with her, however determined not to let his death go unsolved she asked the local cops to help. But they all didn’t know who had caused the death of many people that day; leading to many unsolved cases Sasha had no choice but to move on and let go of her past, drinking one night in the local bar she soon came into contact with the Initia Ambassador who seemed to make a connection with her right away. Sasha didn’t trust her right away and who could blame her? She just lost her friend and now she was alone in a City where she had no idea where other people like her were, it was only as she spoke with Sierra that she  slowly began to trust her. Meeting up a number of times after Sasha then agreed to move into the Initia Community, but keeping the apartment she and her friend had worked so hard to get and all she did from there was start her life over again.

After living a somewhat quiet and peaceful few months the rumours of a comet would be coming to Evermore something Sasha found stupid, however as she gathered with her new Community she soon was proven wrong. The comet rushing across the sky above them everyone in the Initia Community falling in pain, only to wake up moments later and discover they had a new element and Sasha’s? Was Water. Confused how Fire and Water could be a good element to mix together Sasha soon learned how to control both of them, with of course the help of her fellow Initia members. No longer looking back to the past Sasha has learned to accept a lot of things and has grew to understand that no matter what, she will never be able to change her past but she can be sure not to allow her future to fail her.
