The Lucille family had long been a pure-blood Naiad family, it began a long way back with Katie Lucille who deviated from the Initia species and came to the underwater kingdom to meet Trinah Aequor, the two became close friends with time and Katie became an important ranking member of the Naiad community. Katie had several children whom each later had a family of their own, but the family remained high standing in the Naiad community with many of the members following in the footsteps of the generation before them.

Seren was born to Daniel and Elena Lucille and was brought up alongside her sister Amara, Seren was just one year older than Amara, their parents wanted them to grow up alongside one another and therefore hadn't waited to have a second child despite being immortal. Seren had a relatively peaceful upbringing and she excelled in her studies, she could speak several foreign languages and took a shine to the history classes she was enrolled in. Seren had always been more of a tomboy than her sister and was always more interested in adventuring and trying new things than Amara had been.

As the sisters became older they spent more and more time with their parents at their work places, being high ranking members of the community meant more work than play in their lives and Daniel and Samara wanted the most for their daughters, they hoped with time they would take respective roles within the community. Seren spent most of her time with her father, her father was responsible for the training of young Naiads in physical combat, a skill Seren was skilled in even at her youthful age and after a few years of attending the classes, she was soon ready to take on an assisting role and help her father to train other Naiad.

Eventually Seren had mastered her physical combat skills to a level where she was able to run classes of her own without her father's help and she spent a lot of her time  perfecting her technique until she was eventually handed the role over fully when her father had decided he had paid his dues to the community. For 4 full decades Seren held this role, she took pride in her work and in her students.

When the humans attacked the underwater kingdom, Seren was one of the few Naiad to stay back and hold off the humans long enough for the rest of the kingdom flee. Seren fought hard and along with her sister and several others, managed to seal the kingdom off from destruction before fleeing themselves for the same destination the other Naiad had headed to. Evermore City.

Upon arriving in Evermore City, Seren and Amara quickly found their way back to their people and resumed their roles as protectors of the community, in a city where war was breaking around every corner, their protection was never more important. Adjusting to the land has been strange for Seren but she had found that her combat has improved since she has been able to practice on the land.
