Avian never felt wanted in his life. His mother left him before he could remember her and never made the effort to find him again, he took his father's family name and was never left even an inkling of a clue of where to find her. His father's closest friend was the bottle and Avian practically brought himself up past the age of 5, his father also had violent tendencies which made the young boy vulnerable and defensive. Through his younger years in school he only ever stood out for the bad things, bad grades, bad attention span, inability to make friends. Avian's childhood was not one he wished for anyone else, he spent most of his evenings alone in his room playing with the only toy his mother had left him, a stuffed bear which was tattered at the seams.

Avian grew older and with time began his high school years, they differed little from his previous school experience and he often had to be moved from place to place because he couldn't hold a place without doing something to ruin it. The young adolescent was moved from place to place until he was finally settled in a small town in North Carolina, he was enrolled in a military school with very strict rules and for the first time in his life, found a place where he felt like he belonged, a place with a crowd of people who seemed to actually understand him and he didn't have to return home every night to his drunken father.

His grades improved, no longer got into trouble at his school and he even found his way into a group of friends who appreciated him for who he was. Once he was of age he graduated his school with his diploma and made the decision to join up to the army and with his level of school based training he was quickly ready for deployment. Avian spent 2 years of his life in the army and served for his country, it gave him purpose and allowed him to learn the person he wanted to be in his life, he also received 2 medals of honor and was promoted to take care of a small unit.

However things could only go up for so long, Avian was leading his unit in a ground mission when their tank was hit by a roadside bomb. One member of his unit was killed and 2 others were seriously injured beside himself, his leg was fractured and though it was able to be healed, he was left with a serious impairment in his balance which determined him unfit for ground operations and he was honourably discharged. With little left to his life, Avian decided that he didn't want to return home to the bad memories and sleepless nights, so he chose to leave his old self behind and he never went home, instead he began to travel across the country seeing all the land had to offer.

Eventually Avian found his way to a city in Colorado named Evermore City, he didn't know why but when he was scrolling through lists of jobs the name just seemed to stick with him, like it wanted him to go there, but he knew that was crazy. Either way, he applied for a police officer role and to his surprise was offered the job on the condition he attend regular physical appointments to assist with the rehabilitation of his loss of balance. So Avian took everything he had with him and bought a one way ticket to the city leaving behind another chapter in his life. Upon arriving in the city he felt like all was as it should be but as the days passed by, he slowly came to realize that there was something different about this city, he just couldn't put his finger on what..
