Sydney De Belle as born into the loving family of Wesley and Abigail De Belle in Sydney, Australia on August 17th of 1993. Sydney came from a rather wealthy family and often got anything she wanted though she rarely wanted material things and loved the little things in life. When she was 5 years old Sydney’s father had passed away due to a fatal heart attack on October 15th. After her father’s passing, Sydney became closed with her feelings and only cried in the privacy of her own bedroom. Abigail began to worry if her daughter would ever return to the fun loving kid she was before the passing of her father.

2 months after her father’s passing, Sydney began to leave the house again and on Christmas Eve morning she noticed an injured baby deer in the woods behind her house. Sydney walked over to the deer and placed her hand on its head and began stroking the deer with her hand from its head, down the neck, and to the body. As she repeated the process her eyes began to change from their normal brown hues to a vivid green color and her palms began to glow green with energy. The young blonde didn’t know what was happening but she was glad that she was able to help the deer. After about 30 seconds of healing, the deer was able to move and Sydney felt a searing pain in her lower back. She let out an ear splitting scream as the pain grew worse and a tribal tattoo began forming in the lower part of her back.

Abigail had heard her daughter screaming in pain and immediately ran for the woods behind the house. When Abigail found Sydney, she was collapsed on the ground screaming in agony. Her mother ran to her side and looked at her back noticing that the tattoo was only half formed. Abigail told her daughter that she was going to be ok and that what was happening was a special gift being bestowed upon her. After the pain had stopped and the tattoo on her lower back was fully formed, Abigail carried her weakened daughter home and placed her on the sofa. With Sydney now sitting on the sofa feeling better, her mother began explaining to her how she was special and how the powers she had been given was a wonderful gift that connected her to nature on a whole new level. Her mother also explained that it will take lots of training to teach her to control these new powers so that she wouldn’t hurt someone by accident.

Sydney’s training began the next day and those days soon turned to weeks, weeks turned into months, and months into years. When she was 13, Sydney’s mother had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given a maximum of 3 years before she would pass away. Sydney wanted to use her powers of healing to help her mother but Abigail wouldn’t let her because it could potentially expose their true nature to the public which could be dangerous for them both.

As the last year of her life came to an end Abigail informed her daughter of a group of Initia in a place called Evermore, Colorado. She gave her daughter a copy of their will, which would take effect when she turned 18, and a bank card with $100,000 in savings on it which she could use until the will took effect. With her final breath Abigail told her daughter the pin number to the bank card and to use the money to travel to Evermore. She also told Sydney that once she reached Evermore she would have to find a person named Aurora Deveraux because she was the current leader of the Initia Clan in Evermore, Colorado. After her mother’s funeral Sydney packed her things and left for the city of Evermore in search of Aurora Deveraux.
