Trevor’s story begins on April 10th, 1990 with a different name. He was born 2:38 pm at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. His mother was a kindergarten teacher by the name of Daisy McKnight and his father was an ex US Marine by the name of Andrew McKnight. The name that Trevor was given at birth was Thomas James McKnight and his life growing up was normal to an extent. As a child his mother would homeschool the young boy filling his mind with knowledge with each year that went by. When Thomas was at the age of 5 he was already reading and writing at a grade 5 level and he also became a big brother when his mother Daisy gave birth to another child. The newest member of the McKnight family was a female and given the name of Taylor Topaz McKnight. When he reached the age of 5 Thomas’ father began taking him out to the family cabin on weekends. The cabin was located miles away from their house and it was here that his father taught young Thomas how to use a firearm. The first few trips they made to the cabin Thomas didn’t do very well with his aim, however with time his aim grew to a perfect shot with every pull of the trigger.

Thomas was happy to have a younger sister since he didn’t have any friends to enjoy his free time with. As the years passed Thomas became skilled in many types of firearms as well close quarters combat. When he turned the age of 7 Andrew took one of the guns at their cabin and shot his son in the shoulder teaching him the pain that come with it. The bullet passed clean through without damaging any major arteries, and his father then cauterized the wound to stop the bleeding before bandaging him up. When they returned Daisy yelled at her husband for shooting their son but Thomas stood up and told her that he was thankful for his father doing it. When she asked him why he was thankful for it, Thomas replied “I welcome the pain so I may overcome it”. While training with his father, Thomas always thought of pain as just an obstacle in his way of becoming stronger.

With his school teachings taking up his mornings and afternoons on weekdays, and his trips to the cabin with his father taking his full weekend, Thomas would spend his evenings with his sister. He would help his mother take care of Taylor while she was just a baby and as she grew Thomas would spend his evenings having fun adventures with her and talking about their day. Even though Thomas was happy with his routine, he was jealous of his sister’s freedom that he did at times wish he had growing up. She was free to attend a real school, make friends and free to choose what she wanted to do with her life. Whereas Thomas’ life was chosen for him though the family tradition that the men of the family would join the military and he was being trained by his father to be a lethal weapon since he was 5 years old. However Thomas never once showed his jealousy to his sister, he cherished her with all of his heart and wanted to do everything in his power to make sure she was never hurt.

At the age of 10 Thomas began reading material that college students were using. He was far more intellectual than anybody in his hometown, including his mother; however that did not make him stop learning new material. Each family member was helpful to Thomas’ growth as he grew with age. His mother Daisy was able to bring out the kind hearted side within him, while his father brought out the strength and courage within him. His sister however was special to him; she was able to bring out the trapped child within him that wanted to have fun. As his sister grew Thomas heard her ask their father if he would teach her how to use firearms like he had taught Thomas but their father quickly declined her. So Thomas took it upon himself to teach his sister everything she needed to know about using firearms and she excelled rather quickly. He was surprised at how fast his sister learned since it had taken him much longer to be this good. He loved teaching his sister because it only helped to grow the bond they had between them.

Thomas was taught everything about survival and learned how to handle himself in a difficult situation. He became skilled in both firearms and close quarters combat; and as he grew with age his knowledge, strength, courage, and discipline grew with him non-stop, and when he reached the age of 17 Thomas Kale joined the military just as his father did when he turned 17. After enlisting in the military, Thomas began his vigorous training in which the military used to eliminate the quitters from the strong, and to no surprise he passed with no trouble due to the training he received from his father. After passing the trials he went home to his parents and sister as he awaited the call to active duty. Three days later Thomas received his call for active duty. Saying his farewells to his parents and sister, Thomas headed for the military base to begin his active duty. In his first tour Thomas took 3 bullets in the chest which surprisingly didn’t hit any major arteries.

Every time he returned home from his tour of duty he would take his sister out into the town and see a movie before going home and sleeping for the night. When he returned home after his first tour and took his sister out to a movie, Thomas met a lovely lady named Maya Scott. After meeting this female Thomas began spending a fair bit of his time with her while still making ample amount of time for his family, especially his sister. Before leaving for his second tour of duty, Thomas promised Maya that when he did return they would get married and he did just that. When he returned from his extended second tour which lasted a year, Thomas and Maya got married 3 days after his return. After being in the military for about 3 years with 3 tours of service, Thomas had 20 bullet wounds scattered over his chest, back, and arms. How neither of those bullets killed him; was beyond Thomas’ knowledge and from taking so many bullets without dying he was given the nickname BULLET by his comrades. Now at the age of 21 Thomas had his own family to go home to. He now had a wife named Maya Scott-McKnight to return home to. Though after being at war for so long Thomas wasn’t the same guy as when he and Maya met, and things began to grow distant between them. They constantly yelled at one another and everywhere Thomas went the sounds of war ringed in his ears. He was afraid to go and see his parents or sister when he returned from his third tour because he was scared of what they would think of the man he had changed into. When he was recalled for his fourth tour of duty Maya told him that if he goes, she might not be there when he returns but he still returned for his fourth tour not knowing it would be his last.

3 months into his fourth tour Thomas received bad news from home. His wife Maya had been involved in a head on collision with a transport truck killing her instantly. Getting this news rattled his composure and he was unable to think straight. Thomas went into a rundown building by himself to make sure the space was clear rather than take another member of his unit with him for backup. However before he escaped the building, an explosion brought the building down around him and burned most of his body. Unable to move he was trapped there under the rubble, badly burnt with his leg broke and a large chunk of building crushing against his rib cage. Thoughts of his family rushed through his mind as he was ready to accept his death. However his team had located him and managed to free him before he died and before he passed out he said “Don’t tell my family”. Unsure what he meant his team made sure that his wishes were upheld and did not contact his family as Thomas began undergoing surgery. After he woke up Thomas went to his superior and asked him to tell his family that he had died in the explosion, for the man he was died that day and he didn’t want anybody to have to see him like that. So his supervisor agreed to his terms and contacted his parents, sister and wife telling them that he had died in an explosion and just 4 short days later on August 27th, 2011 they were burying an empty coffin. By this time Thomas had gone to see a plastic surgeon and his face was completely unrecognizable to those he cared for, so Thomas went to his own funeral under the new name of Trevor Maxwell McKnight.

After the funeral was over Trevor left the cemetery and shortly after he left the town to start his life over. There was no more Thomas Kale and it wasn’t going to be easy to start over though he would not give up. He stopped off in Los Angeles, California for 3 years where he got a job as a bouncer for one of the local clubs. On May 12th, 2014 Trevor struck rich while playing blackjack at the Hollywood Park Casino which was located in Inglewood, California. His winnings made him 2.5 million dollars and with that much cash he decided to move on to a new city and new people. This time his move brought him to the supernatural city of Evermore Colorado which he arrived at on May 13th, 2014. Trevor had no idea about the supernatural creatures that lurked throughout the city until on the night of May 14th. As he walked through the streets of Evermore Trevor was attacked by a Lycan, which pinned him to the ground and was about to go for the kill when Trevor reached into his hidden jacket pocket and pulled out a large hunting knife. Pulling it from the sheath Trevor reached his hand up and slit the throat of the beast as blood began to gush down on top of him.

After the attack Trevor rushed back to his house in Evermore on his sleek black motorcycle. Though he was hoping his life with guns was behind him, Trevor remained prepared for the worst. He reached into his closet and pulled out a black case containing a set of pistols which belonged to his father. Trevor then rushed out of his building and back into the streets helping whoever he could. During his heroics that night Trevor crossed paths with a ghost from his past life. There was a Lycan attacking a young female in the streets and he managed to scare the beast off by wounding it, revealing the identity of the victim as none other than his younger sister Taylor McKnight. Somehow Taylor had found out that her brother was still alive and living with a new identity. Trevor managed to save a dozen people from dying that night including his younger sister, and although he saw his fair share of bloodshed on his tours of duty nothing could prepare him for what he witnessed that night. Creatures he believed to be just stories were in fact real and ravaged the city for an entire night. After it was all over Trevor took his sister back to his house in Evermore and asked her if she had told anyone about him being alive. When Taylor replied that she hasn’t told anyone about him being alive until she knew for a fact that he was alive; made Trevor sigh with relief as he continued to ask her questions.

Trevor sat down beside her on the couch before asking her two final questions before letting her get some rest. That question was how did she know that he was still alive, and how did she know where to find him. He then listened as she began to explain how she knew that he was still alive and how she came to arrive in Evermore City that night. After getting the answers from her that he was looking for Trevor told her that she couldn’t tell anybody he was alive; that meant their parents and especially his ex-wife and daughter. When she asked him why he didn’t want them to know he was alive, Trevor dropped his head and sighed before looking at his sister. “Because Taylor, the man you once knew as Thomas is in fact dead, he is just a memory sitting in this shell of a human. Besides look at me, I don’t look like Thomas anymore which is why you were all meant to think I was dead” he replied before taking her to his bedroom. Trevor apologized for the mess and told her to sleep in the bed and he would take the couch. He never expected to have company so he lived by himself in a one bedroom house that didn’t have much square footage, but now with his sister in town Trevor would have to find a new place that would be able to accommodate them both.

After he had his sister settled into bed Trevor went back to the couch and opened a beer as questions began to ring through his mind about the recent events. Are these creatures new to town?, If they have been here all along why isn’t it in the history of the town?, Was somebody covering up the fact that these creatures resided in the town?, so many questions with not enough answers. Therefore Trevor knew he would have to talk to some of the locals to find out more about the history of the town, but that would have to wait until he had some rest. With his sister now in town, Trevor knew that his primary duty was keeping her safe even if he had to sacrifice himself to do so. Trevor wondered why his sister never told him about her depression after finding out that he had died. Maybe she was embarrassed about it or maybe she was afraid of what he would think and maybe she thought he didn’t know about it. Sure Trevor could have asked her about it considering that he knew about her depression but instead he would let her decide when she wanted to tell him. After all if he mentioned it then that would bring questions as to how he knew about her depression. So he never told his sister that he knew about it and just continued spending time with her to reconnect the years that he lost with her.

Trevor continued to ask questions throughout the months that passed after the massacre that tore through the streets of Evermore. He did manage to find out some information such as, how to tell a supernatural from a human, how the city was on the verge of a war between the many different factions, and just how many species there were residing in and around the city of Evermore. His questioning eventually led him to discover that there were a select group of humans who were given the duty of protecting the humans from the supernatural world, but he had no clue who they were or even how to contact them. Trevor kept thinking that if only he could find them then he would be able to feel useful again and give protection to those who could not protect themselves. However with no way of contacting them Trevor continued to ask questions and look for answers while searching for this secret organization. On February 6th, 2015 Taylor and Trevor were sitting on the balcony of his new house while looking up at the starry sky above, when they noticed something odd about one of the stars. They watched as it continued to grow larger and larger as it headed towards the city. When it got closer to the city Trevor realized that this was in fact some kind of comet and if it hit the city who knows what would happen. He continued to watch the comet with his sister as it passed over the city before crashing into the city dam sending out some kind of energy wave.

Trevor kept the information he found out from his sister for as long as he could but he knew he could not hide it from her forever. So being smart about the information he told her, he only revealed to her the species that resided in Evermore and how to tell them from normal human beings. About three months after the comet that crashed into the dam, Trevor got a new clue as to where he could locate the secret organization. This clue came in the form of a letter that had no return address and contained an address located somewhere in Evermore with the words “What you seek you can find here” written above the address. He was rather curious about this letter and decided to go to the address not knowing who would be waiting for him.
