Tyresse was born into a family who were only struggling teenagers being 19 at the time when he and his older sister was born, he was a twin. His parents couldn’t afford to look after to one child let alone two, they chose to give up their children and leave them to go in the foster system. Tyresse and his twin sister Sasha spent only a few a few weeks inside of the orphanage, the foster home that they were left at was falling down and was in need of repairs not having the facilities to look after two young newborns. Fortunately they were soon adopted by a family who had lived in Canada, who could not have children of their own and had adopted many children other than Tyresse and Sasha. He had always wondered what his life would be like if his parents did not give him and his sister up, would life be easier or harder? He had many questions that were left unanswered of his life and his parents life, he knew that he could never find the answers that he had always looked for as it was a closed adoption where all of the information about his parents was kept locked away and for his biological not being able to contact him nor that he could contact them.
However, Tyresse being a young determined young man he knew that he would find away possibly when he grew up to find out who his parents were, although he soon began to realize that many not knowing them would maybe be the best idea, because if they really did want them they would never have gave them up like they had. It was just in his mind something that only seemed to become more complicated as the years went on, when he would fight with himself wondering if he should or shouldn’t get the answers he had been wondering about for years. His sister Sasha just didn’t in his mind really seem to mind or care anymore, because she knew that she was happy with the life she was given. Where Tyresse in the other case was grateful but he always wanted to even just see a single picture of them, or even write them a thank you letter for giving them the chance to have a better life. However, after many years of wandering and ending up in endless fights with himself, he gave up and just focused on the two things that meant the most to him, his sister and school. It was those two things that seemed to help Tyresse make it through life without the worry of losing his mind, to the answers that were locked away in that file back at the foster home.
He had always been caught up with his school work and not having the chance nor opportunity to spend time with his friends, to have a social life so to speak. His adoptive parents had pressured him in a way to focus on his school work ,so that he could get the better grades that would benefit him in later life and that all of his hard work would all pay off one day. He knew that his sister too struggled as she wanted to know and find out who their parents were, although they both knew that they could never find out and they questioned would never be answered. He didn’t have many friends at school he had prefered to have his head stuck into some textbooks rather than spending time with people who had only pretend to be his friend for popularity to be considered a normal teen. He had only talked to and trusted his sister and hadn’t been close to his other adoptive siblings. His adoptive parents had adopted many foster kids it was more like a foster home that just a normal home.
It was as the years went on and the house would fill up and then empty that Tyresse decided with his sister that they were going to look for their parents when they turned 18, however all that soon changed when their foster parents soon demanded they stopped playing silly games and move on from the past. At first Tyresse tempted to lash out at them and tell them never to speak about their biological parents like that, but he knew too well that there was really no point in it so he just continued to bury his head deep within the many books he had grew to love. His sister on the other hand not seeing why he wasn’t standing up, she soon began to notice that he was not the brother he was when they were children. As if something was changing within him and she was able to see it clearly before he was, but Tyresse being so stubborn and not wanting to let anyone down he managed to pass all the exams that were placed down in front of him. It was there that Tyresse finally began to notice the changes himself, as if he was one day he was lusting for the warmth of fire. Tyresse decided to start a small bonfire out the back of his foster home, and little did he expect that it was this little bonfire that was going to be the change of his whole life.
Tyresse was standing in the back garden of the foster home as he had watched as the flames of the bonfire grew higher and higher in the nights sky, he watched as the flames rose feeling almost connected to them in a way. That he could feel the warmth as it radiated from the flames to the temperature of the fire. He closed his eyes as he almost lost himself as he could feel the warmth of the flames, he was lost within his thoughts and it was only to when his sister had called out his name and broke his train of thought before he had seen what he had done and what he was doing. He watched as the flames were starting to grow, they were getting out of hand and uncontrollable. Panic started rise within Tyresse as he wanted to try and figure out a that he could try to stop the flames from destroying his foster home, but it was too late the flames had caught the house and there fire spreading forest fire. He grabbed his sister’s hand and knew that they needed to leave as quickly as possible, fleeing the place they once called home Tyresse decided that he needed to do whatever it took to protect his sister. However, he just didn’t even know how to explain what he was feeling within those moments, that he had lost himself within his very own mind.
He then began to realize that the only reason that he could have felt attached to these flames and lust for fire was because of his parents, but Sasha told him that if the police found out that he had burned down their foster home. He would be put in jail and she would never see him again for a long time, so Tyresse agreed with his sister that he would remain hidden until everything had settled down and they were able to come out of hiding. So the pair began to travel along all of the backroads, trying hard not to run into the police along the way, they did however manage to bump into an Initia that was unknown to them. That was when they had heard about a place called Evermore City, a place which was going to be a somewhat shelter for them so that they didn’t need to run anymore. Tyresse on the other hand didn’t believe this person and called him a joker; but how was he to know that the reasons why he liked fire so much was because he was an Initia, it was only when Sasha convinced him that they needed to give this city a chance that he finally gave in and agreed to go. However, Tyresse warning his sister that if they were going to go to this city they were going to be taking this person with them, and sure enough the man agreed to go with them and agreed to help them find the Initia ambassador.
That was when Tyresse began to ask this stranger who he was and how he felt like he knew them, and it was there that this stranger soon became known to be Cedric Reigns the brother of Sierra the Inita ambassador. The surprise which flooded that car that day was unbelievable and it was there that Tyresse soon discovered that the reason why he lusted for fire so much, was because in fact he was not like any normal person he and his sister were both Initia’s and both with their very own special talents and elements. So once they had arrived in Evermore City Cedric helped them get to Sierra and explained the position the pair were in, and it was from there that they both were able to settle down into their new homes. Tyresse settling in just like his sister he longed to get a job, and soon enough finding the perfect one as a DJ within one of the local clubs. He soon asked Sierra if she could help him and his sister discover more about who they were and maybe be able to tell them what was going to happen to them in the future.
However, after just a short while and learning from the members that already lived within the species, Tyresse grew used to who he was and all he wanted was to learn to be the best he could possibly be for his sister. He soon left DJing a few years later and got a job working in an office of a massive electrical company that powered Evermore City, and since then he has never felt happier. His life falling back on track and he no longer lusted for his element every single moment of the day, all he could wish was that his future was going to be the best it could possibly be and that one day he would be able to find the words to thank Cedric for saving him and his sister.
