Victoria was born into an extraordinary household. Her parents always told her these legends while they sat around camp fires, she loved hearing about them. it fascinated her. Victoria was always an out-there-girl. she had no problem with making friends and she was really popular. When Victoria got to high school, her parents started putting pressure on her to do well in school. Victoria never coped good under pressure and started rebelling against her parents. She was always compared to her older brother who was perfect. Victoria noticed that her friends were also rebelling against everything they were told to do and thought it was cool.

Victoria's parents got worried and started sending her to boarding school's but she never lasted too long in one school where she cause trouble and was suspended. Her parents decided to home-school her. One day when the power went down Victoria played with a candle and noticed that she could control the flame. Victoria was fascinated and a little freaked out by the actions. she tried to see how far she could push it but the candle fell down and her curtains caught fire. She tried to put it out with a blanket but that caught fire as well. Victoria panicked and ran out of the house, most of her room on fire by now. When she tried to run back into the house to get her parents and brother, a large piece of wood fell in front of the doorway and she stood, shaking, watching the house burn down.

Victoria was traumatized after the accident and was sent to live with her uncle. It was only a few houses away from her previous home. Her uncle explained everything about her being able to control the fire and even the tattoo on her lower back.  Victoria met many people, getting along with some and then not really getting along. She wasn't very good at making friends in anyway because she always pushed people away. After the Massacre it got worse, species going against each other and she had no other choice than to fight.
