Ximena Lopez. The woman who her parents believed would be the good girl they had been molding her to be. For years, her parents taught her to be good and use her coming powers for good and never bad. In order to prepare her. They were aware she would come across some kind of evil in her future so the trained her from a young age. At first she was unable to focus until they told her of a viking warrior. A female. Who trained day and night to become stronger than most believed she would be. Her name was Lagertha. She fell in love with the story and this warrior that was long dead had become Ximena's idol. She was driven to be like her and her favorite weapon was short hand axe which she had craved ''shieldmaiden'' into the wooden handle so everytime she fought or trained, it would remind her of her idol, Lagertha, the viking legend who had been empowering women since the 800s. 

As she reached her late teens,  she no longer perfected anything unless it was combat. She began to rebel. She refused to follow their guidance because she believed that the species was weaker than those which lurked out there and instead of helping other people, they should be helping themselves. They began to become heartbroken with what their little girl had become and how her beliefs had quickly changed. She only wanted to survive. Besides this world is all about the survival of the fittest in her eyes and helping other people would only cause them to be left behind.

She was walking home one day, when she turned into an alley, the usual shortcut that she would take in order to get home quicker. That's when she was crowded by men for some reason had decided it was a good idea to pick the day when she had gotten into an argument with her parents to mess with her. She urged them to try her. Even though she didn't have her beloved weapon her, she fought back, besting most of them before finally tasting defeat. That's when the leader emerged from the shadows, more than impressed. ''I'm impressed'' He congratulated her and that's when she found out. She was before the infamous Abraxas Bradford. She was offered to join him and climb up the ranks. The only way she could however, was to leave her life behind and not inform anyone of her departure. She would have to leave immediately with him. The rebel within her spoke and accepted. Not knowing what she was getting into. 

She climbed up his ranks over the years and once she arrived in Evermore City, Abraxas informed her that he was there for one thing and one thing only and when he felt it was right, he would give her the task of dealing with the thing he was after. She didn't agree with his methods, but she was loyal to him. She had become one of his trusted soldiers and he believed she had all the tools to complete the mission when the time was right. Whilst she was here with him, operating in the shadows, a comet flew by and crashed. She had passed out but she woke up feeling a difference. She felt something weighing on her back and when she turned her head to see what, that's when she saw the beauty. Something that had never happened to her, but had now sprung from within her, wings. Could it have been the comet? That's all she could sum it down to. She also felt as if her body had stopped aging and she was locked in at 25 for the rest of her immortal life.  

Before she was handed the assignment, one of her closest... colleagues who had a thing for her informed her that Abraxas had actually slaughtered Xi's parents and with that, he had also slaughtered the loyalty that Xi had for him. Everything she had done for him, all the kills, were clearly for nothing and she realised just how dangerous he was and he didn't have any loyalty for his soldiers. Only for himself. Xi promised herself that she would get him back. She knew that whatever he was after, she would use it against him. Finally she got her mission brief. She was to bring Cornelia Bradford to him. However, she has other ideas.
