The Celestial’s mind seemed to be filled with never-ending thoughts; making her mind spin. It had been a while, since Artemitra’s mind felt so restless. For some reason, the Celestial kept thinking back on her time in Isle of Skye-the good and the bad, as well as the in between. A lot of things happened back then. Some things, she wished she could both forget and forgive. And some things, that hurt to even think about. One of the things, that made her both grieve and angry was Erythreus. At the time, before any of the Celestials were captured. She had grown close to the Aspect of Death. It was a bit of an unexpected surprise.

Both their friendship and blossoming relationship, at the time had mainly been more of a secret than anything else. Right now, the reasons for it being that had; had entirely slipped her mind. Maybe it was the fact, neither wanted to face judgement by any of his ‘siblings?’ Whatever it was, it’s not like it mattered anymore. Things were over; leaving the Celestial quiet broken and bitter; among other emotions when it came to the entire ordeal.

But most of all; Artemitra felt betrayed. Betrayed, by the one person she thought she could trust among the Aspects. Artemis still remembered, that he had been promising to get her out; when she ended up being captured. She had waited, days slowly turned into weeks; weeks turned into months and months turned into years. Artemitra wasn’t sure, how long she had hoped that he’d keep to his word. But he never did.

The memories causing tears to prickle her eyes. Surprisingly, she hadn’t run into him since living in Evermore. But the Celestial was aware; that the Ailwards and what was left of their Guards; lived in the city as well. And at the moment; Artemitra wasn’t even sure, if she wanted to run into Erythreus again or not. Was it possible, one person could hold a grudge for so long? Artemis never held anything against anyone, for so long. This indeed was a rare case; for her to be feeling like this. And honestly, at times the Celestial hated being so full of anger and resentment. It didn’t feel like her. Yet; she along with so many Celestials had the right to feel that way; after being betrayed and locked up like animals.

The Celestial had been lost in her thoughts; wandering around the woods. That she had lost track of time and sense of direction. Artemitra had no idea, where she even was at this point. Nothing looked familiar anymore; as she was past the point of familiarity within the forest. The Celestial was between territory borders; but which territory? That was questionable. It was getting darker and colder.

Suddenly, Artemitra could hear twigs snapping around her, making her spin around in circles. Trying to decipher, in which direction the snapping of the twigs was truly coming from. “H...Hello?” The Celestial called out cautiously. For a few moments; there was a strange silence, almost eerie. Holding her breathe. The Celestial thought, that maybe it was just woodland animals, trying to nest within the bushes somewhere. So she tried to dismiss it. Shaking her head, she carried on walking. Hugging her coat around herself bit tighter. Artemitra pulled out her phone from her pocket; trying to see if she had any signal. Maybe, going on maps; would help her figure out where she was and how to get back home. But Artemis was running out of luck; her phone was low on charge and no signal. “Oh come on...please get a signal.” Artemis muttered to herself. Walking around in circles...backwards...forwards...left...right. Any direction, to try and catch a signal. But nothing.

Then again, there was that snapping sound. This time bit louder and more constant. Someone was definitely nearby. Squinting her eyes slightly; Artemitra tried to see if she could make out a figure in the looming darkness of the trees and thickness of the bushes. But nothing. Whomever it was; was hiding. Deciding to walk bit faster; Artemis tried not to look behind her; when she heard footsteps following her. And whomever it was, was getting faster. Before the Celestial could break into a run. Pair of strong and cold hands gripped at her; causing her to let out a scream of fright.

The unknown entity, spun her around. It’s eyes dark with blood lust. Clothes smeared with blood...a sadistic smirk upon the man’s face, sharp fangs sticking out. “Now...now. Don’t run young star.” the man sneered. His grip on her arms getting tighter; so she couldn’t move away from him. “You do smell, rather appealing.” the man leaned in closer; his cool breath tickling the Celestial’s neck; as he breathed in his scent.

“W….ho are you? Wh..at do y...ou wa..nt?” Artemis breathed out, her voice shaking with fear. She struggled against his strong grip. As he was inhaling her scent; she could feel shivers run down her spine. Feeling quite uncomfortable. The more she struggled; the more tighter his grip on her; seemed to get. Making the Celestial whimper in pain. Her arms hurting from the tight squeeze. Swinging her leg upwards; The Celestial managed to knee the stranger were it hurt. Which caused him to groan in pain, dropping his hold on her, for a few seconds. Artemis broke into a run...in the opposite direction. But, she was unable to get far. Before she felt the strong hands grab at her again...causing her to loose a hold on her footing. As the Celestial fell downwards with a scream, the Vampire began to drag her towards him. Trying to kick at the rouge Vampire. The stranger just snarled annoyed. Pulling the Celestial closer to him, by her slender leg. Yanking her upwards harshly-before his hands wrapped around her slim neck.

Artemis let out a choked gasp for breath. Her hand gripped at the strangers neck. Trying to pry herself away from him. But was unable to;as the man was much stronger than she was. Her instincts were trying to kick in; and use her magic to protect herself. But the star was struggling to glow.  Ever since the escape from Skye; Artemitra had struggled with her ability to glow. And she wasn't entirely sure; if was from not being able to shine in so long; when trapped in that steel cage for so long...or her fear, that someone might trap her again. The star light was weak, and it kept flickering on and off-dying out like a candle flame being snuffed. Unable to do damage right now.

The Aspect of Death gave the Celestial an eye roll "You're right, it doesn't matter. But, we're stuck with each other for now, so  while it won't change anything, it also won't hurt. C'mon, where's your adventerous daring side, the blunt Celestial I knew back in the past?" he questioned, giving her a teasing grin. And genuinely, he was curious about what it was about him, that'd drew her in, in their past. When Artemis then called him out for how he seemed to not have tried understanding her and hearing him out, Ery grimaced, shaking his head as he too withdrew eye contact. Sometimes, it was simply too much between them.

"It's not that i'm not trying to understand Artemis. I do get it, I know you felt betrayed, I know I hurt you along with the rest of your kind and I even know that for you it goes beyond being locked up, it's a little more personal for you.. I hate to even think about that, but the point is, is that no matter how hurt and betrayed you feel, we did what was bestt, the one and only thing we knew that we could do. You've never placed yourself in my shoes, or attempted to, as many times as ive went and sat on the edge of the cliff thinking about how you may have felt, not once have you tried doing the same for me" he then expressed, irritation clear in his tone.

"But one thing you just said, it's pretty accurate. There's not a lot left to me, a lot of me died, the person you knew back then.. gone" he said a little more harshly than he meant to. But, it was true. Erythreus had found himself tangled up in bad situations time and time again, and still here he stood, trapped in the forest with someone else he'd had a past with, someone he had failed. Ery seemed to do a lot of thatt, it seemed he had failed almost anyone he had ever tried to love outside of his family; especially the blonde he couldn't just simply erase from his mind and pretend never existed, no matter how much he knew Serena would want that. Sighing, he shook those thoughts away too, thinking about her right now, damn sure wouldn't get them out of here safely, and if anything it would end up causing the Aspect to lash out at Arti if she continued throwing slurs and rude comments his way.

And again, Artemis questioned his and the rest of the Aspects reasons for why they chose to lock the Celestials away, saying that it was more of a war path, not a peace path; maybe he could understand why THEY thought that way, but it certainly made his blood boil that not one of them had tried understanding anything the Aspects chose to do. It hadn't been for fun, or to make a statement about who had more power, it was a way to make balance that Ophelia had thrown off greatly. But, even Ophelia seemed to understand this more than Arti was even willing to. "Our goal back then wasn't about war at all. We had to restore balance, all the death brought fourth because of your ambassador, stop for a moment and just single me out, think about how I..THE ASPECT OF DEATH FELT .. when all those beings died because of Ophelia" he shouted at her, trying to make her understand just how bad it was for the Aspects when that'd happened. "Accidental or not, when that happened, we were left with one choice and one choice alone Artemis, to make sure it wouldn't happen again" he expressed, shaking his head before running a hand through his semi-long blonde hair.

For a second, yes; Erythreus felt bad to hear Artemis' tone cracking as tears festered up in her eyes, time and time again. She seemed to hold a deep gudge for him, but more than anything, because she'd lost him and what the two of them had created together. Back then though, it hadn't been anything more than lurking in the shadows together, because had they been found out, it would have definitely turned bad for both of them, especially after the fall. However, it didn't mean that there hadn't been moments between them, that fell anything short of magical. Yes, he used the word magical for the time he had spent with the Celestial, and if he would think about it too much, he could also admit that it'd been something worthy of missing. But it was a new time, and they had to move on. Erythreus had forced himself to do just that long ago, but seeing her now did snap him back years before now, making him think of things he had no business thinking of.

"I will say it until i'm blue in the face, and one day I can only hope that you'll believe it Artemis. IM SORRY!" he shouted at her, swallowing harshly, and pissed at her for making him even remember that he had cared about her back then, because yes, it did sting quite a bit. The Aspect of Death shot her a go to hell look when she acknowledged that he had gotten emotional, it pissed him off beyond expression to let anyone see him this way, especially her. The comment about drinking made him laugh though, sarcastically of course "Drinking has proven time and time again to solve my issues. Even if I don't know who i'm waking up next to" he said teasingly, smirking at the Celestial who still seemed pissed at him, even more so as he continued talking.

As if things hadn't been tense all evening and all night, Erythreus ripping through his clothes to use his dragon form for their way out, his naked form had made things between them even more tense. Tension was now so thick you could literally cut into it with a nife. He couldn't help but chuckle at her though, her jaw had dropped, and her eyes were now the size of quarters. But, Ery's face had flushed in it's own way, this was definitely... odd. "I didn't plan on doing this.. so an extra set of clothes wasn't in mind, especially since like I told you.. I didn't really come here willingly, Bluemoon. I wasn't lying when I said that something sorta led me out here.. and it's making more and more sense that we were meant to get stuck here together, maybe this was what it took for you to get all that stuff from the past off your chest. Im confident that when we leave here, you'll be able to move on.." he stated, having a sure sound to his voice.

Erythreus watched intently, and now that she wasn't using her energy on him, but to save them, he found himself in awe of her talent. But, eventually the two of them would tire themselves out, and be no match for whatever it was out here in this foreest, hell bent on keeping them here. The arrows of Celestial energy whipped right into the last couple shadows, deeming them safe for now. Artemis had tripped though, and her falling onto him, sending them both colliding to the ground, was much more dangerous than all the threats they'd dealt with so far. This was the real threat, the very thing that hadn't even tried to deal with. So many feelings had been hoarded up and kept silent that when she fell onto him, Erythreus just laid there on his back, he had made sure to take the impact of the fall and catch her with his arms held open. For a moment to long, they'd both became transfixed with one another, engrossed by just being that close.

"We shouldn't.. yeah we should go" he stated awkwardly, before letting his arms fall to his sides, so she could get up and off of him. Following her gaze to a small, abandoned looking hut, Ery gave her a nod, indicating they could go there for the rest of the night "It has to be safer than .. all of this.." he added, still as awkwardly as the first time he'd spoken since their collision. Erythreus swallowed harshly, hating himself right now for how this made him feel.

It seemed, like the Aspect was indeed very curious. And it made her wonder why. She couldn’t help but raise a slight eyebrow at him. “Why, does it matter to you so much, huh?” Artemis asked him.  Wondering, what sort of satisfaction it’d give him. His teasing words, struck something in her. Almost bringing out, some of her old self back for a few moments. “Miss the old me?” Artemis, asked in a slight teasing tone. “I am sure, that’s side of me...is there...buried somewhere...maybe!” He might have changed, over the last 102 years. But so did she. Artemis wasn’t as blunt as she used to be. The entire experience made her more cautious of people, reserved and it took awhile for people to earn her trust.  Only few people, had brought down those walls. Maybe, the daring side was still there somewhere. Artemis, lost count of how many times; she got herself into weird situations. This, indeed was maybe one of them.

This argument, could probably carry on for a while. If one of them didn’t stop. But they were both stubborn. Of course, this was going to be more personal for her; given how close they had been. But, maybe the Aspect had a point.  “Okay, maybe I haven’t.” Artemis muttered in slight agreement. “I can’t even begin to understand how you could be capable of doing it anyways!” And that was, what she was struggling with. Wether, she was in denial or not. It seemed, so opposite of him; to do something like that. And thats, what she was struggling with. So, that’s why, she struggled to put herself in his shoes. Or, part of her was just too angry to do so. And maybe, because she wouldn’t be capable of doing such a thing, also had a part to play,  in this mess. “But, how I feel about this...doesn’t matter. We’re not gonna agree.” Artemis concluded. If anything, they’d keep clashing.

The Celestial still avoided eye-contact with the Aspect. His words, confirming her suspicions even more. The old him, was gone. It’d be a lie, if she said she didn’t miss the old him. She did. But neither of them, were whom they once were. But her admitting, that to him, wouldn’t change anything either.

Neither of them were getting anywhere. The argument getting more tense and heated. As both of them, having the influence on getting each other more angry. Artemis bit the inside of her cheek, listening to his words. “War path, might have not been your goal. But it all certainly caused a mess, between factions!” Artemis pointed out. Hence, why it seemed like a war path. And if anything, she thought that one of the Aspects would have realised that. Did they try to think of alternatives? It didn’t seem that way to her. The more he yelled at her, the more she went silent. Okay, maybe she couldn’t argue with that point. If he felt the pain and death of so many beings. A part of her, wanted to express, she was sorry for him going through that. But she couldn’t get the words out...nor anything else. She remained quiet, if she spoke. She’d most likely, make him more angry voicing her opinion like she had done. Because, it still didn’t excuse what they had done. Not, that one of their kinds accidently killing so many, was an excuse either. At that point, Artemis couldn’t think straight.

As he shouted another apology at her. Artemis shook her head. “I’ll let you know, when you get there!” she managed to half choke out. That Stubborn side of hers, not easing up again. He had hurt her a lot. It wasn’t going to be that simple, as a few sorries to make her forgive him. Frankly, she wasn’t sure what it would take. Even if, she wanted to forgive him. Artemis wasn’t sure when it would happen.  Despite, barely looking at him; eye to eye. The Celestial caught the look he shot towards her. Which made her heart clench. If anything, she might have been in hell right now. Only, he was right here also. This night, certainly felt like, they were both in hell. “Of course, it does!.” Artemis shook her head, at his sarcastic reply. “Because, you’d much rather drink and forget your problems, then deal with them!” Artemis pointed out. “But drowning everything out, won’t solve anything! The issues, and feelings will still be there!” Wether or not, he was facing his problems, Artemis truly had no idea. But it seemed, like he’d rather bury everything, forget it...so drinking was his go to, solution in attempts to forget it all. Out of the two of them, she didn’t think showing, some sort of emotion wasn’t bad. But he obviously, disagreed. Almost, like he didn’t want her to see that side of him. But here, she was...in front of him. In a messy state herself. “But, do as you will. It’s not my problem!” And yet, it partially felt like it was. Because of the lingering feelings, and the fact that she cared about him.

Artemis certainly didn’t need this. It was hard enough, trying to deal with being around him. But this...this stepped it up,a whole new level. It seemed like it brought him some amusement. God, she hoped he’d let her live it down. Or, would he tease and torture her about it? “Are you blushing?” Artemis rose an eyebrow. It certainly wasn’t a sight, she witnessed often. His face looking flushed, like it was now. “So you don’t prepare yourself for emergencies? If you had to go out somewhere and turn all dragon? You’d walk around exposed afterwards?” The Celestial questioned. Now curious. “Honestly...I am not sure if I feel better...or worse, getting everything off of my chest.” Artemis admitted. Even if he had a point. That they were both here, for a reason. It felt like torture, being around him. Partially, because of old feelings, stirring in there somewhere. And tension was running quite high. Even if she said her piece, getting everything out in the open. It didn’t help solve the rest of the emotional turmoil.

And what happened next, exactly didn’t help either. With both of them on the ground. Artemis felt the security of his arms around her. For a few moments, neither of them knew what to do. It seemed, like he was bit lost for words himself. Artemis finally felt his arms fall to his side. The Celestial managed to pull herself up and off of the Aspect. The strange, awkward moment. Stirring up past memories...a lot of them. Artemis looked away from him, once she was on her feet. Trying to shake off, what had just happened. “I am sure, anywhere is better than here.” Artemis muttered. It just had to be better and safer, than the woods. That seemed ever so twisted and dangerous.

As they made their way towards the abandoned hut. Artemis remained quiet, for the entire walk. The Celestial, just wasn’t sure what to say, let alone what to think, about the very awkward moment. The Celestial rubbed her temple, more than once. In an attempt to forget about it. The walk towards the hut, took at least 45 minutes. It wasn’t as close, as it looked in the distance. Or maybe, being tired; made the walk seem a bit longer. And up close, the small hut, or house. Looked bit taller and bigger, than in the distance. “Mhh, strange.” she muttered to herself. Artemis reached out to open the door. It felt bit stuck. Like it was almost glued to the frame. After a few attempts...the door swung open easily.

After walking inside. The Celestial was looking for a light. As it was too dark. Despite her perfect night vision. The glow around her, gave the abandoned hut, some sort of light. But, unable to find an immediate light switch, at least one that worked. Either, the electricity just didn’t work...or the light bulbs were bust. Maybe, Candles? Candles, could be somewhere. Artemis began to rummage through some of the drawers, that opened up easily. For anything that would help.

The Aspect grimaced and balled his fists up, flexing his hands closed and shut a few times while glaring at her "You really know how to piss a guy off, you know that?" he asked, shaking his head.. not really expecting an answer from her. "Like I said. It doesn't matter at all, but.. since we're stuck here.. and can't do a damn thing about that for now.. why not make the most of it?" he asked, and gave her an eye roll. "God you make it so hard to even tolerate you.. that's why it matters.. you didn't used to be soo.. uptight?" he said questionably.. unsure if that was the right word to use, but it seemed to fit with the drastic changes he saw in the Celestial from way back then, to this very second.

"Nope, we will never agree.. but hey.. we just agreed on that.. so" he then said, figuring he was just pissing her off more, but that realization brought the Aspect satisfaction enough for him to smirk. "You refuse to put your stubborn ass in my shoes for even a second, ive done that for you.. countless times Artemis, wondering what it must have  been like to be caged up like an animal, for a mistake you didn't create yourself.. and I felt a little sympathetic, but you're so hell bent on hating me that you can't stop for one second to think "oh wait.. he must have felt like shit .. because it's not like Erythreus is a true monster" .. but no, you didn't even try.. so stop blabbing on about it.. you'll never be at that place.. and if you ever get there.. itll be you feeling bad" he expressed, his voice yet again heightened, basically shouting once more. God this woman made his blood boil, yet somehow, he'd do whatever he had to, to protect her right now.

Erythreus chuckled.. that's basically all he had been doing at this point. The situation had went from tense and frustrating, to plain out amusing and comeical. They'd been at this for far too long, and they were still stuck together. "Of course it caused a mess. Your kind hates my kind because my kind did what was best to keep you lot from wiping out an entire universe with powers you couldn't handle.. it's not my fault you didn't fall from the sky with a manual." he stated before shaking his head at her judgy comments about his alcoholism. "Oh the issues might still be there when im done drinking, but who said I ever stop? I live and breathe booze .. it's just easier to keep myself numb.. because when im numb.. shit like this.." he paused long enough to make a gesutre, referring to the situation he was in with her right now, and began talking about "Doesn't bother me as much!" he added, finishing his sentence before peeling his gaze away from her.

"How do you cope? huh? Surely you have to do something to help with the PTSD that most of your kind seems to have.. so tell me. Since you insist on judging me, enlighten me a little while you're at it" he barked out in a demanding tone of voice, "Don't worry, we've got nothing but time" he added while tapping an impatient foot against the ground and his arms folded. "I think what your true issue is.. is that you still care about me.. and you hate yourself because you know, that I know" he expressed, giving her a knowing look before gazing up to the sky. What was it going to take? In all honesty, Erythreus just wanted to put the past behind them, but he feared that would never truly happen at the rate they were going with one another. Too much had been said, especially now. Words didn't tend to hurt a lot of people, but Erythreus was the type of person to hang onto a persons every word, and for him, they were pretty damaging.

The Aspect snorted at her question. Yes he was certainly blushing; god he hated this so much. "Truth be told, I never anticipate walking out of the manor, and having to turn into a dragon.. If I know im going on a mission, then yes of course i prepare.. but no sorry, I didn't prepare for ... this" he said as he looked down to his almost bare body that his shredded clothes did a poor job of covering. "And I don't blush!" he then said, jumping on the defence. The situation couldn't have gotten any worse when they collided onto the ground though. Ery definitely hated himself now, but he was relieved that she'd gotten to her feet. Clearing his throat, the Aspect couldn't look at her at all as he spoke up "Agreed.. look at that, we've agreed twice now.. is the world ending?" he asked with a cocked brow before looking out into the distance. The hut was huge compared to what they saw from far away, and now that they were inside, Ery's eyes bulged, trying to find any sign of a light switch.

Artemis shined bright enough for Erythreus to join in helping her look for something to light the place up. After searching the place for any and everything, Erythreus found a wooden box with a lock on it. "This place seems to be full of mystery" he stated, before picking up a usted iron bar to pry the lid off the box. After sticking his hands in, the Aspect of Death stumbled backwards, flailing "fucking spiders! i hate bugs" he screeched, eyeing the Celestial, giving her a look that dared her to make fun of or mock him. He knew he didn't seem very manly, and not many even knew he had a fear of bugs. Who would assume the Aspect of Death was scared of anything at all, right? "Did you find anything?" he then asked.. this was going to be a long night.. but what his eyes did finally fall upon, was a glorious site. "BOOZE!" he said gleefully as he nearly lunged towards the shelf with a few sealed bottles. Someone had been staying here once upon a time, but judging the dust and cobwebs, it'd been decades since this place had been abandoned.

After opening one of the ancient looking bottles, the Aspect took a large gulp, shuttering at the bitter taste, but immediately, he felt like this night was about to get better; at least for him.

The Celestial noticed the way he glared at her. As if that was supposed to add to the damage. “Funny...and here I thought you were the one, that’s constantly been pissing me off.” she retorted, giving him a glare back. It was never ending between the two. The both of them. Yes, they were stuck here. But that didn’t mean, she wanted to indulge him.  Artemis shook her head, as he said she was hard to tolerate. “Yeah, like you’re a breeze and making it easy to like you!” She scoffed slightly. As he called her uptight, Artemis didn’t think that might be the right word. “Stubborn maybe...trust issues, definitely. I am not the same person, I used to be….so don’t look for her.” Artemis told Ery. And apparently, he also unhinged quiet a fiery temper; that she never knew she had. But he kept pushing all the right buttons. Whilst some parts of her remained the same, others did not.

Artemis tried to swallow back, that anger that was still bubbling. God, did he really have to annoy her, over the fact she agreed with him? “Don’t get used to it.” she told Ery. As he once again began to yell at her. Artemitra was doing her best,to keep herself from snapping back at the Aspect. This was a never-ending circle. The two had so much pent up anger and frustration towards each other. It was a wonder, they didn’t  really kill each other, before. It wasn’t that she hadn’t tried to put herself in his shoes. It was just harder for her, to get into his own mindset. Or maybe she didn’t try hard enough, due to how angry he always made her feel.

It was a little exhausting, going back and forth like this. Like a bickering couple. But they knew how to push each other’s buttons. Artemis closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. But her chocolate eyes snapped wide open, when she heard his comment, about not falling out of the sky with a manual. “What the hell, did you just say to me?!” Now he had done it! Causing that anger to bubble inside of her again, with that insult. That did not sit with Artemis well. WHACK! Her petite hand flew in the air, giving the Aspect a mighty hard slap for the words he uttered. There was certainly more, where that came from. And if he kept pushing, he’d get more slaps.

He was starting to give her a head-ache. “Fine, drown yourself in booze, if you must.” Artemis huffed. It was his existence, and if he wanted to drown away his issues, then so be it. It probably wasn’t much healthier than her anger towards him, but it was what it was.

As the tables turned. Ery had to bring up PTSD and the nightmares. Again, his curiosity digging away. His demanding tone, not sitting well with her. “Alcohol definitely doesn’t solve my issues! As you so elegantly put it!” She hissed back. Artemis preferred natural remedies. Herbal teas with the sleeping issues. “Oh do you now?” The Celestial rose an eyebrow, as he claimed he knew what the real issue was. But he somehow seemed to see through it all. Hitting the issue, right on the head. Looking away, Artemis folded her arms over her chest. “I don’t need your attempts at being a Shrink, with diagnosis!” Was she that see through? Or maybe, he knew her better than she thought. Artemis knew they both said a lot. And a lot of words would stick, no doubt in both their memories.

When he claimed, he wasn’t blushing. The Celestial rose an eyebrow, clearly not believing him. “Mhh, yeah right, because you always sport a reddish tint to your cheeks.” Him jumping on the fence, was expected. It was an awkward situation to say the least. As Ery made the mocking remarks about them agreeing twice, Artemis shook her head. “Fine, enjoy your few moments of glory! I am sure, we’ll agree few more times, before the world explodes in fire, because of it!” Artemis rolled her eyes.

The abandoned hut was strange. As if things weren’t weird already. “You’re telling me.” Artemis sighed, as she was searching through the drawers, that she could get opened. In one of them, she found some candles and what she thought was a box matches. When Ery let out a shriek flailing, she almost dropped the load in surprise Glancing towards the Aspect of Death, with a raised eyebrow. Unable to contain the amusement. Artemis started to laugh. “Wow….very manly.” His lack of manliness at the situation, getting the Celestial amused and laughing, for the first time that evening. “Since when do you hate bugs?” Artemis shook her head. “Just some candles and a box of..” she was about to say matches, but when she looked inside. There were few old pieces of jewellery. “Rings…” So they had candles...but no matches. “Great...just great.” she muttered to herself.

Back to square one. As he found Booze, Artemis rolled her eyes slightly. “Well, at least you’re happy.” Artemis set the candles down. “I am going to go look around.” Artemis walked out of the room and went to explore the hut a little more further. Her star light shining around her, instead of a torch.

She had no idea, what she was searching for. But a little time away from the Aspect; would help her clear her mind. Or so she hoped.

"Is it funny though? I imagine there's nothing humorous about it Artemis, I suppose you're just being sarcastic. A trait you'll never lose" he smirked, knowing if he ever wanted her respect, that this surely wouldn't earn it. But, Arti had a silver-tongue mostly when it came to the things she said to the Aspect, which seemingly forced him to retaliate. Erythreus lacked patience when it came to someone talking to him in a disrespectful manner. Ery couldn't help himself as she said he was a breeze, sarcastically saying he made it so easy to like him. "Well you used to like me if memory serves right.. and a whole lot at that, specifically with my clothes off" he retorted, flashing her a wink, But, he could feel himself tensing, preparing for yet another slap through the face. "Yeah because clearly that girl is long gone!" she shouted back at her, rolling his intense blues in her direction. Erythreus couldn't help but sigh dramatically. "Oh don't worry I won't. Ive concluded that this is a once in a blue moon deal with you agreeing to anything I say"

Erythreus felt his world rock a little when she slapped his face. But, it was a well deserved slap. His hand had flew up immediately after that to hold his jaw, hoping the sting of the pain would subside a little, but touching where she slapped did little to nothing except for make him mad as he ran his fingertips over the welts formed into a handprint. "I deserved that I guess. I know.. I went to far with that" he admitted, owning up to being a grade-a douche bag when he had mocked her for falling from the sky without a manual. "You really do know how to get under my skin, perhaps that's why i'm drinking so much right now. Im willing to chug a one hundred year old bottle of booze just to block out the noise a little" he added, but he was mostly referring to her voice as the said noise.

"Trust me Arti, If I were your shrink, I would have done quit my job. You're not an easy person to talk to on even the best of days" he started, and continued rubbing his jaw, eyeing her as if he could kill her for slapping him so hard. But, since he knew he deserved as much, the Aspect said nothing on the matter. When she mocked him for blushing, Erythreus shrugged, "Well that and then when you add in the way you slapped me, it's bound to make a man's face red" he shook his head and finally laughed a little while making eye contact with her.

The Aspect smirked, and stepped over to her, nudging her side playfully at the comment about the world burning down because of how they had been agreeing. "I don't think the world would allow us anymore than that without turning to ash" he teased a little, but gave her the hint of a genuine smile. The two of them hadn't gotten along since they had first reunited, and he imagined she was still such a long ways off from trusting him, but if they could smile and joke around then Ery would take it as progress.

The way she seemed to get the most enjoyment this whole time out of him screaming like a woman and faliling at something as small as a spider, irked the Aspect, mainly because he had stomped on his pride in that moment, losing a little bit of his manly-ness. "Oh don't act like you didn't enjoy that little moment" he started, and gave her an eye roll when she asked that cute little question of hers "Since forever, I hate insects, everyone imagines that a person like me, especially with my supernatural status and being the Aspect of Death, that I don't have any mundane fears, but spiders are the scariest thing on this planet.. their existence alone makes me wanna crawl in my bed and hide forever" he spoke it dramatically, but meant every word he said as he shuttered a little.

Ery couldn't help but sigh when the box revealed rings rather than matches. "Maybe whoever used to live here, or came out here, planned to surprise their lover with those" he expressed with a gentle smile creeping up on his features. The visual he got from how that may of played out was one he could only smile at. It was cute in his mind at least, but Arti was right to be upset about it, the rings did them no good. Erythreus sighed, but nodded at her when she said she was gonna go look around. He knew she needed time away from him, and to be frank, Ery needed time away from her too. "Go ahead, ive got my booze to keep me company, just be careful" he said, shockingly enough.

Ery groaned at how she then lit her way through the house "Why couldn't you use your damn light all along?!" he called out to her, before taking a large swig out of the dusty bottle. "Holy shit man!" he shuttered and cringed, but chugged it until the taste didn't matter. "Come give this a try Arti! you'll love it" he stated, chuckling, as he knew she'd find it disgusting, but the thought of the faces she'd make, were worth seeing her try it. Ery stood and glanced out the window, "Hey, you alright back there?!" he then called out as silence settled in, and the glow of her Celestial light faded, leaving the small hut in darkness yet again.

“I am certainly not amused!” The Celestial told him, at his questions about it being funny. God, damn him. She thought to himself. He certainly knew how to push her buttons well. No one else, knew how to irritate him with such ease and grace, like Ery did. Was it some kind of a gift? She couldn’t help but wonder. But there he was off once more, making another comment that was getting under her skin. The Celestial narrowed her eyes at him, in a pointed glare. Almost hurt, that he was insinuating, that seemed to be the only times she liked him back then. What a way, piss of anyone more. Whack! Her hand flew up again, this time slapping the other side of his face. Maybe not as hard, as the first two times. But hard enough.

“Are you done being an ass, and throwing insults my way?!” Artemis asked him, sharply. The hurt and anger flashed across her chocolate brown eyes, as she looked at the Aspect.

Artemis could see, that the slaps had angered him. But he did deserve them. So she wasn’t about to apologise, for slapping him for his insults. “You guess?” she sighed shaking her head. “It’s not often, a girl gets thrown such insults her way...so yes...you deserved it!” The Celestial confirmed, that he was indeed was being an ass. “Oh, now you’re blaming me for your drinking issues? You arrogant ...ass.” she hissed, through her teeth, with an annoyed look in her eyes. A cold look still present in her eyes, when he referred to her voice being the noise he wanted to block out.

“Geee...thanks.” The Celestial shook her head, at his comment about not being easy to talk to, even on a good day. “Do you love to find new ways to irritate me? Or does it just come naturally?” Maybe her good days, around the Aspect would be tough; especially at first. But today, sure was one hell of a crappy one. The majority of the time, she found herself angry at him. Almost finding it impossible to be civil around him; especially given the shaky/dangerous moments they found themselves in; without a doubt didn’t help either.

The Celestial was taking a few moments to calm herself; when the aspect nudged her side playfully. Glancing at him, with a slight raised eyebrow. She sighed slightly. What was she going to do with their predicament? She had no idea. Despite the hint of his genuine smile; Her mind still fuzzy and spinning; especially from the last few moments of arguing. Growing seemingly quiet, until they got the abandoned hut; and he amused her with his girly shriek.

Trying to hide her amusement; she failed epically. “Well, considering the shitty day we had...it was quite funny.” The way he proceeded to talk about it being the scariest thing, so dramatically; made her laugh. “Don’t be such a drama queen.” she told him, shaking her head. Artemis was sure, there were worse things out there than spiders. But she couldn’t blame him for thinking it was creepy. Hairy, 8 legs, moving so fast. But for his fears; she wouldn’t have pegged insects and creepy crawlies, like Spiders would be one of them.

Ery’s conclusion about the rings, may have been valid. Maybe someone was saving them a special, romantic occasion. But with the creepy vibes, the hut was slightly giving off? The Celestial wasn’t entirely convinced. “Who knows...but something, still feels weird about this place.” Maybe she was being too skeptical, given what they had endured back in the woods. Or maybe she was picking up something strange, she could not explain. Just before she left; Artemis caught his word of being careful. “Since when, am I not being careful?” she asked, with a slight raised eyebrow. “Actually...nevermind...don’t answer that.” Knowing, it’d probably open up a handful of past and present scenarios where her reckless side came out.

The Celestial internally groaned at his yelling. Was he an idiot? He probably by now, she had struggled with her celestial energy; this was one of the few moments she was calm enough, to generate a decent light. So she didn’t answer. “No thanks, it smells disgusting!” she called back, from one of the rooms; hearing Ery trying to urge her to come taste, the bottle of...whatever it was.

The search in the other room, seemed to prove pointless. Nothing useful. All Artemis could see, was a handful of different small viles; with different liquids in them. Tonics? Potions? Testing Alcohol Samples? She had no idea. Feeling like something was creeping up behind her; Artemis spun around. But nothing was there. Feeling a tickling on the back of her neck...she swapped at the air near her neck...but again nothing. Once again, fear began to set in...and the Celestial glow around her died out. Almost like Ery’s own voice, was muffled. Unable to hear the Aspect calling out to her.

“Okay...that’s not funny...who ever’s here. Just stop it!” Artemis called out; her voice shaking.

“But why, would we stop? It’s fun…” voices echoed all around her. Laughing in a very eerie like manner. Ontop of that, Artemis could hear faint, footsteps; constantly circling around her. The hairs on the back of her neck, standing up from fear. What on earth was going on? Artemis had no idea. She had assumed, that she and Ery were safe. She...they were both wrong. Danger had followed them here. Only here, there was nowhere to run. Making her way for the door; the door shut itself. Trapping her in the small room. Artemis pulled and tugged at the door handle; but it wouldn’t budge.

“Let me out! Stop it!” The Celestial yelling out, at no one in particular. Trying to bang on the door; every sound was muffled. Like she was weak, and couldn’t make herself be heard. Something was blocking her, from being heard.

The images that filled her head; made the Celestial shake. She was hallucinating again. There was that Nomad Vampire, that attacked her in the woods again. Taunting her, teasing her, making it clear; she was his pray. Pair of cold, icy Vampire hands were reaching towards her. “Oh no no...you’re mine now. I’ve waited a while for this.” As the pair of hands grabbed her; the Celestial let out a panicked scream. And the hands were gone again. But multiple heads of the nomad vampire, seemed to be spinning around her in circles; constantly talking to her. The Celestial was in a panicked state; clutching at her hair.

“Get out of my head!” she screamed out, shaking. Why couldn’t this just stop? Her heart racing inside of her chest. Someone sure was having a good time, causing the Celestial distress.

“You want it to stop huh?” a voice said in her head…”I have a solution. Go...go and drink one of the viles. Then it’ll all stop. You’ll be free of the voices and hallucinations, child.”

The Celestial had no idea, who the voice belonged to. Even though, she knew that something was wrong. It was like, someone had picked up her body. And was forcing her to walk towards the small table of viles present. As she reached for one. “No...not that one...the crystal blue one.” the voice spoke. Her hand slightly shakily reached out towards the vile. Once it was in her grip. Artemis pulled off the small cork. The smell that came from the vile, was slightly pungent. The Celestial had no idea, what it was. Surely, something so vile smelling, wouldn’t help her? But unable to stop herself, from taking small sips from the vile.

Feeling strange sensations rush through her...the small vile fell from her grip. The glass smashing on the ground; the rest of the poison spilled on the floor.

The Celestial feeling dizzy; Artemis let out a slight cough. Her eyes slowly beginning to close; before she collapsed on the ground in the small room. The thud and glass breaking loud enough, to be heard through the small hut; as whatever was blocking everything before, was gone again.

Erythreus realized he had been rubbing his face more than anything he'd done tonight, and after she slapped the other side, the Aspect chuckled, and nodded at her question. "Yeah, i'll try my best. You're just so fun to piss off" he stated, shrugging a little, but could see the hurt on her features, and figured that it was time to stop with the insults. "You have a way of pissing me off too ya know. I can't hurl my hand at your face to cope with it though" he expressed, giving her a pointed look, referring to how she'd done slapped him several different times through out this encounter of theirs.

The Aspect narrowed his gaze and let her rant for the next few minutes about the insults he had tossed at her all night. "Well, it's not often you get forced into  a situation with a past fling like this either, but I'm making do" he nodded, being the arrogant as that she labeled him as. "Can't help but wonder how well you and your new boo get along. He best buy his face a metal plate, protection from your slaps" he teased, and smirked slyly. "Not just you. Women in general however, seem to be the root of all evil. I think i'll try men" he said in a joking manner, but damn.. he really hadn't had the greatest luck with any of the females he'd been with. SExually or non sexually, they all seemed to hate him whenever things went down hill. And so far, he hadn't met one that things hadn't went down hill with.

He and Sio were finally patching up their friendship, but she'd been the only one so far. Serena left completely, and the few blondes before her hated his guts as well. He had no idea where he and Artemis would stand after this. Erythreus gave her a simple nod, smirking "You're welcome" he sadi sarcastically when she thanked him for the comment he made about her not being easy to talk to on even her best day. "You're just a difficult female" he shrugged nonchalantly. "Oh, it definitely comes naturally" he admitted, because she hadn't been the first and damn sure wouldn't be the last to say he had a talent in pissing women off. The Aspect rolled his eyes, but chuckled when she said his scream of fear was funny. "Well, i'm glad it helped" he stated, taking whatever good moments that they could each get with how shitty this whole encounter had been so far.

The Aspect's mouth dropped open a little, acting as though he was shocked for her to call him a drama queen "I guess ive been called worse" he grinned, shrugging it off. He knew how he was over insects, it was fair that she called him a drama queen. Erythreus nodded, he had to agree, and for him and Arti to agree, well, it was definitely progress. "The fact that the place looks like it's still being lived in, but hasn't been cleaned in.." he stated, and rubbed his fingers across a shelf full of dust "years probably" he added, and cleaned his hand off on his pants, shaking his head and sighing. He had opened his mouth, ready to answer when she then told him not to "Smart decision. Seems like you're catching on" he patted her shoulder sarcastically, grinning from ear to ear.

He had ventured off on his own, and thankfully the however many years old booze, got him through the next few moments. He chuckled when she yelled back out to him that it smelled disgusting "Suit yourself, more for me!" Ery took another long swig of the potent liquid, shuddering, chills consuming his whole body; that's how awful the taste was. But, the effects of it had began kicking in, and for that, he was thankful. "Helloooo?" he yelled at her once more. Whatever had just happened, he didn't like. Her light was gone, and so was her voice. "Arti, stop playing!" he tried once more. But, this didn't feel like a prank from her at all. Something was wrong.

Making his way to the door, Erythreus watched it slam right in his face, and the moment he was trapped, he could once again hear her voice. Whatever was screwing with them, was doing a good job at striking him down in fear, letting him know he was helpless. It was as though Arti's voice had been hushed all up until they were both trapped in seperate rooms, seemingly done so on purpose just to make Erythreus feel like he couldn't do anything to help her. He assumed that's why he could suddenly hear her voice again too. "Arti, where are you?! I can't get out of here!" he called out as he heard her yelling to be let out of whatever room she was in as well.

The last thing Erythreus heard was the sound of glass smashing and a thud loud enough to be recognized as her body collapsing to the floor. The door had swung open with a cold, eerie gust of wind following it. Erythreus took no time in getting to her, and as he found her, she laid there lifelessly. The Aspect dropped to his knees, and noted the neon blue liquid that stained her lips, and dripped down her chin. "No" he began panicking "no no no!" the Aspect yelled out in frustration, fear nearly crippling him. "What have you done?!" he shook her trying to get her to wake up, but to no avail. Erythreus did the only rational thing he knew to do, but he feared he'd never get her out of these woods. However, it seemed that after all this, the confusion and everything they had went through, finally went away, because as he stepped out of the small hut with her limber body cradled in his arms, he could see the path to the road.

Ery ran for what felt like hours when the hospital finally came into view, and as he rushed her inside, he called out for help. Doctors ran to his side asking what was wrong. Erythreus knew he couldn't give them full details, but he showed them the blue liquid coming out of her mouth, and it was only seconds later that she began convulsing "DONT JUST STAND THERE. DO SOMETHING!!" he yelled at them, and sent them straight into action. The Aspect grabbed both sides of his head, not knowing what to do. Right now, there was zero that he could do, so with that, Erythreus left the hospital. When he reach the outside, after having to convince the doctors that he didn't need any medical attention for himself, the Aspect began walking, and he walked until his body collided with his own bed.
