Svetlana turned over on her side, gently placing her arm over Zephyr’s waist, while laying one of her legs across his legs. There was nothing better than being all cuddled up to her white knight, knowing she got the luxury of waking up to that gorgeous face of his every morning. Ever since he had returned from vanishing the city, things had calmed down. Before Zephyr had left, he and Svetlana moved in together; and even when he was gone, she had stayed in his place. It had been the only place the Nephilim had ever felt like she was home in. A place she felt safe in.

She knew she had given him a pretty big scare when he had first came back as she laid on the floor flailing and fighting off some invisible force. After that, he had rarely left her side, and to keep her distracted he made up a cute game for them to play. Svet had partaken in a series of her own dares for him though, and everything had been fun until the dares got intense enough for one of them to back down. Even still, they’d managed to laugh about it. All in all, things were in a good place for Zephyr and Svetlana.

Today was no exception. After the Nephilim’s eyes fluttered open, from their evening nap and cuddle session, Svetlana hopped to her feet, wearing nothing but a t-shirt of her white knights. The smell of coffee compelled her and lured the Nephilim into the kitchen where Zephyr sat reading something. After making herself a cup of coffee, black, no sugar or cream; she sat down on the opposite side of the table, a grin gracing her features as she reach over top of the table, placing her free hand on top of his. “What are you reading?” she questioned curiously, fascinated by what he said. The Burj Khalifa Tower with an elevator that traveled ten meters per second. And within just a minutes time, is takes its passengers to the 124th observation deck. However, several floors of the building had been abandoned for years, a few of them said to be haunted which made this dare of Zephyr’s one that Svetlana couldn’t refuse.

His words had rang out playfully , causing the Nephilim to grin from ear to ear as she agreed without hesitating. “Ill go get dressed” she expressed excitedly. Zephyr had a knack for finding ways to keep her happy, even if they stayed home and did absolutely nothing he still did small things to keep a smile on his warrior’s face. About thirty minutes into rummaging through her clothes, Svetlana found an outfit she could settle for on a day as hot as this one.

Since most of her wardrobe consisted of black, and grey.. With  red being the only exception of color, and her usual leather outfits, Svet wore a pair of red shorts, with some red sporty tube socks that came up to her thighs, her red and white converse and a white tank top. After styling her hair, and applying her makeup Svet gave herself a once over, and shrugged. She always enjoyed impressing Zephyr, but she knew no matter what she wore, he loved her.

the Nephilim rejoined Zephyr, smiling happily. Her heart raced every time she gazed into his eyes, knowing he was hers, and she was his always made her feel as if there was nothing in the world that could go wrong, even if on the outside of their relationship, eveything was wrong. She had just pyshically hurt one of the only people who had stood by her for as long as he had, and the rogues weren’t giving up with trying to end her life. But, since her and Zephyr’s relationship was the one thing that didn’t have complications, she wouldn’t dwell on the rest, deciding that today was about them, and just being together.

“So how did you find this place?” she questioned, as she climbed into his lap, straddling his legs before snaking her arms around his neck. “Im excited, ive never been anywhere like this. I haven’t really did anything cool at all” she said, grimacing as her gaze averted to the floor. But, to the sound of a horn blowing, she assumed the cab was there to pick them up. Each of them had fancy cars, but Svet rarely drove hers, and since Zephyr had returned to the city, he hadn’t had his own vehicle out of the garage either. His was one of those that were more for show and tell than it was for driving. “Shall we?” she questioned, and leaned in to steal a kiss before sliding out of his lap, waiting for him to walk to the cab with her.

The way Zeph had found Svetlana had made him more aware of their connection.  He still couldn't believe someone like Svetlana would be interested in him.  He was so awkward amongst women.  Just the other day he had gotten in trouble with a wolf.  It had been all his fault even though Zeph couldn't remember what had happened, but by the way the wolf had reacted, Zeph must've done something bad, or said something that was taken the wrong way.  He got a lot of that lately.  Girls thinking his words had double meanings.  He shook his head letting go of all that negative energy. Who needs friends anyway?

Things had been tough for Svetlana when Zeph had left.  He had things to sort out on his own.  He never thought that Svet would miss him so much, as much as he missed her.  Her silence hurt, still does.  But once more, Zeph was sure it was his fault.  Every time he opened his mouth stuff would come out differently than what he thought.  He didn't know why.

He looked at Svet smiling and that made him smile also.  "I have been looking for something fun for us to do.  We need some fun in our lives.  Too much seriousness is not good for a relationship.  I had been surfing the net for stuff to do and I found this elevator.  The history of it is fascinating.  Not to mention the intriguing 'missing' floors that no one seems to know what happened to them and why no one can access those floors.  No human that is... We can."

Zeph gave Svet a mischievous grin, promising a good adventure they would enjoy together.  He watched her get dressed.  She looked happy.  Thats the way he loved to see her.  Happy!a

Once they arrived outside the building, they both stared up to the sky.  This was a very tall building.  The whole structure seemed to move.  He had read that tall buildings were designed to bend and flex as the wind currents came and went.  It was an imposing building that was calling to the Valkyr to conquer it.  He had signed them up for the classic tour up to the 124th floor.  From there, Zeph was planning on using the stairwell to climb to the 'missing' floors.

The tour guide was a tiny lady less than five feet tall with a heavy accent that was hard to understand.  She eyed Svetlana and Zephyr and then showed her glowing purple eyes.  Zeph looked at Svetlana wide eyed.  This was a super just like them.  An angel like Svetlana, Zeph wondered if Zvet knew the old lady.  That would make things easier for them.  If she was friendly that is.

Lately, Svetlana knew Zephyr had been going through hell; sadly that hell had mostly been within imself, and whatever he was battling on the inside, she wanted to figure it out and be there for him. Help him even if that was possible. Even if he had left suddenly, and gave her no clue as to where he was going, she loved him just the way she had the day she fell for the Valkyr and quite literally,  the man from her dreams. The first time Svet met Zephyr it had been by luck chance, where he had helped her battle her way out of a rogues organization. Bloody and battered, the two of them conquered. Unfortunately, Svetlana's father was already dead when Zephyr showed up. But ever since then, after he vanished the first time, Svetlana dreamed of him. Her dreams to this very day consisted of her white knight carrying her away from a fiery scene, bridal style.

Svet's smile radiated when Zephyr looked at her. Thats all she ever needed, one simple little glance sent her sailing towards the moon. It was Zephyr and Zephyr alone who had that effect on her, and still to this day, she didn't understand it, but she damn sure welcomed it. As he explained how he found the place they'd be visiting today, Svet laid her head on his shoulder and trailed her finger tips up and down the length of his toned arms. His voice became distant, because Svetlana ended up getting lose in his eyes, beneath them, she saw a future where he and her were completely and utterly happy. It's something she wanted very much with him. Thankfully she caught most of his explanation though, distracted or not, she nodded with a smile of genuine happiness dancing on her features.

Arching  a thin dark brow, she grinned "So we're going to explore a floor that humans can't even approach? I like this idea" she beamed at him. Svetlana had never gotten to do anything besides run for her life. Now that she was with Zephyr, she was given new opportunities, and she could only love him more for giving her that. Dom was the exception, their nights co-owning Sinister of Sounds, so far, had been amazing, even if Svet had been attacked there, it was still some of the best times she'd ever had. She was absolutely thrilled to finally have some fun with Zephyr, the one man she loved unconditionally, and would walk through the flames of hell for.

With her fingers tangled through his, Svet nodded in agreement. His statement couldn't have been more true. "I agree love. We've not had many nights where we could put aside the bullshit, and just enjoy each other. You have no idea how much ive craved this.. and just to see you smile, knowing you're happy with what you're doing with me, will make me the happiest female in the world. Now that I have you back, I don't wanna come up short handed, so I have a couple things up my own sleeve for us to do for the sake of fun" she stated, returning that same mischevious smile to him.

It wasn't but a matter of minutes after they caught a cab, that they stared up to one of the tallest buildings Svetlana had ever seen in her life. "Wow" was all she could say for a moment. She had fallen speechless, until they walked inside. Svetlana was even more surprised to learn Jacquline was the one in charge of the tour, a half-blooded Neph, but a Neph just like Svet nonetheless. Nephilims tended to be a close knit faction, so there was rarely ones that didn't know each other. Svet flashed her own purple eyes at Jacquline and smiled, giving her a nod of acknowledgement. After gazing to Zephyr, Svetlana grazed her teeth over her lower lip, smirking at him before speaking up to the host of the tour, but in the form of a whisper. After she whispered to her, Svetlana reach over and slid her fingers through Zephyr's, waiting until Jacquline led the rest of the group ahead of them "We can take whatever stairecase you want, we're free to roam" she stated, grinning from ear to ear before leaning over to peck his lips gently.

"Thank you for doing this. We really did need it" she stated, giving him a gentle smile "So, where to first my white knight?" she asked, her Russian accent rolling off her tongue in the form of a purr.
