Audrina hadn't been in the city long, or at least it still felt that way. She was still walking the path her mother and grandparents had paved for her, while slipping off into a miserable state of mind, because truthfully, she didn't want to be a princess. But, once you're born into that life, you can't just change it, and Audrina now realizes she's stuck with being a royal, and with that, she has decided to make her family believe she's behaving, while in reality, she's rebelling against their every little desire.

Audrina's mother had been hell bent on hiring guards, drivers, and more, just to make sure Audrina lived the same life her mother had. It was all pretty amusing, and often times, Audrina put her maids, and guards through hell. They all probably despised her, and while she felt bad for giving them a hard way to go, she despised living this way. The blonde Diviner had been out in the back yard, doing her morning yoga when one of the maids approached, apologizing immediately for interrupting. "What is it?" she asked, moving out of the bridge pose she was currently in.

Drina sighed as she listened to the maid, shaking her head, angered by the news. HEr mother had hired yet another guard, supposedly because of how disciplined he was, and how he was an actual viking, or at least that's what the rumor had it as. It kind of excited her to know she had someone new to torture. Surely these people knew what they were getting into when signing up for a job such as taking care of a 'princess'. Audrina looked to the mansion ahead of her, rolling her eyes before dismissing the yoga instructor. "We'll finish tomorrow" she gave the woman a genuine smile, and hurried off to the house to wash up and change clothes. Her mother had informed the maid that she wanted Audrina to look presentable and to come to the law firm where she worked.

After a hot shower, Audrina walked to her bedroom, eyeing the outfit her fashion cordinator laid out on the bed for her. "God, I can't even pick my own fucking clothes" she whined. She really did despise it all. Audrina hurried to get herself dressed, so that she didn't get bitched at for being late. She hated the speeches her mother gave about her being on time, and being presentable and being perfect.. she always felt like she needed to be something she wasn't. Sighing, the blonde Diviner descended down the sprial stairs, trailing her finger tips down the railing  until she reach the bottom, and gave a nod to the male escorting her out the door, and to the car.

The drive over was nerve-wracking, because Audrina could just imagine what was so pressing, that she had to quit Yoga, and rush to the law firm on her day off. When she arrived, Audrina was let out by her driver, who then parked the car, and bid her farewell. "Your mother fired me for the last stunt you pulled. Im sure this new one will last just as long" he practically snarled at Audrina, while she smirked and waved him off. There were plenty of rich females who would want a driver. Audrina was just the rare one who didn't want any of this luxury. As she swung the door open to her mothers law firm, a bear of a man sat there waiting.

Audrina sighed, and stood there with a hand on her hip, tapping her foot in the floor as she looked him over head to toe. "Not bad. Did my mother hire you?" she asked with a narrowed gaze before her mother busted in, giving the man no time to speak for himself. "That's right Audrina, I did. It's for your own good. You can't just roam through the city like a plane jane. You have royal blood flowing through your veins and a line of enemy's because of your last name, please stop being so reckless. And can you maybe try not to run this one off?" she asked, but turned on her heels to walk away. "Great.. this is just what I needed. Another driver.. another guard.. more suffocation" Adrina was fed up, and the tears in her eyes would have implied as much.

She looked to the male who hadn't been given much a chance to speak yet, and sighed softly. "Well, I guess i'm your responsibility now" she mentioned. But, she damn sure wasn't going home. The last thing she wanted was to be stuffed behind the walls of that mansion where everyone lived like robots. Audrina wiped her eyes, and looked up to the giant. "So, do I get your name? or is this a business only relationship?" she asked, dreading her day already and it hadn't even began yet. "Forgive the ungrateful attitude as my mother calls it. I'm just a grown woman, and don't want a grown man babysitting me is all" she shrugged, and waited for him to speak.

Bodyguard.

Now, that was a title that the former Viking didn’t think he’d get any time soon. He wasn’t entirely sure why he took up this new job in the first place. His schedule was already busy. But when the Diviner Queen, Mrs Kensington came to him, claiming her reckless daughter needed protection. Eirik couldn’t refuse the offer. He was one of the best fighters around and with his expertise, he’d do a good job. Or one could hope. From what he learned about Audrina, from her parents. She’d prove to be quite a handful. He could only hope, she wouldn’t try some child-ish bullshit on him. As that wouldn’t go down well for any of them. He had low tolerance for such things.

Today he was supposed to be meeting her. Waiting at her mother’s law firm. The tall male, was in the lobby area. His foot tapping impatiently for the young Diviner’s arrival. Seeing the blonde young female arrive; she had a bit of a tongue on her with her greeting. Eirik had his arms crossed over his strong defined torso. Looking down at the young female. His icy blue eyes, had an expression that was hard to read. But intimidating nonetheless.

Letting her mother speak. Partially because her mother cut in before he could answer himself. He rose a sharp eyebrow, hearing what the young female was muttering to herself. “Great, attitude already.” he grumbled to himself. It was expected. At least, he saw it coming himself.

Waiting for her to finish whining about the situation. Eirik narrowed his eyes slightly; clearly not impressed by the attitude that was oozing out of her. “You’ll get my name, when you earn some respect. For now, I am Mr. Trobeck.” Eirik stated sharply; his words clearly stating he won’t take crap from anyone. Not even her. “You claim to be an adult...yet you whine about the situation, like a small child.” he pointed out. Her attitude didn’t really match her ‘adult’ claim. “So, I suggest you act like the ‘adult’ you claim you are, by not giving me the attitude and sucking it up, like any mature young lady would. I don’t have patience for child-ish antics.”

“Just because I am your assigned body-guard, doesn’t mean your freedom is at stake.” Eirik told her. ”Just consider me, someone that can get you to places you want to go...but making sure, you don’t do anything reckless and stupid, when out alone.” he told her. Especially with the bad happenings around the city; no wonder her parents wanted her protected. Hence him taking this extra job.

Eirik let her take in the information for a few moments. “So...tell me about your schedule for the day. So I know where to start.” He couldn’t do his job, if he didn’t know where she wanted to go/had on her schedule for the day, to help her get there and make sure, she stayed safe.
